Chapter 1: Fazed

Previous Chapter

Lemme summarize what's happening right now.

...

Screams

Walking to the door of my school I hear a bang.

Reaching for the door I heard a boom.

Then touching the door I heard a pop.

I suddenly then realized that everyone was screaming and running towards the opposite direction of the mass explosions and flying...horses?

I squinted my eyes in disbelief and came to the conclusion these were not horses, they did not look like horses but had the figure of one, they were smaller and were many different colors.

Then I saw a strange one of these horses flying right towards my direction!

The strange looking horse was also in disbelief as soon as it hit me with its two front hooves. Then looked back and slammed right into the school building.

"What the fu-UOOGH", I said in immense pain.

I tried to run but one the horses pinned me down and...talked?

"WHO ARE YOU!!! WHERE AM I?!"

"WHY ARE YOU KILLING US?!"

Which were the questions that struck me the most. I looked towards the empire state building and had seen then a helicopter gunning down the flying horses.

I was too confused, too terrified, and way way way too hurt.

With these immense emotions, feelings, and questions.

I passed out.

When I later woke up I saw two of my friends faces above me. "What happened?", feeling sore and confused I looked around to find no people, all three of us in an alley,  and and a few burning buildings in the distance.

"Are you okay? We saw you here and couldn't find out what to do so we brought you into a alley", Seb said.

Seb was my best friend. Though he was a very confusing person. He's full name was Sebasten Zaito. One day he could be isolated and another he could be talking to many people. Some days he was reading manga and others he was doing something else. We had been friends since the beggining of last year and had talked a lot. He has black hair, dark skin, and though I don't wanna poke fun he was a little short. Though he was very confusing, most of the time he's reliable and humerous.

"Did...Did you see flying ponies?"

"Ponies? No but I heard people seeing flying figures so it could be ponies, though that's pretty crazy that there were flying ponies."

I had questioned whether or not this was a dream but seeing the smoke in the distance made it harder and harder to believe it was.

"God dammit what did the government do this time? Always getting the citizens in danger and doing ridiculous things!", Victor said.

Victor was smart. Very, very smart. Smart enough to consult professors from mistakes and get solutions to things we hadn't even thought of. One time he had made a professor get so angry at him that he almost threw a chair at Victor. He was soon fired. Victor is the very being of a stereotypical smart ass. He loved correcting people and making fun of their "incompetent" minds. He had dark brown hair and freckles. Though he was a stereotype, he didn't look like a smart ass.

"It might not be their fault Victor. Something could have gone wrong like an experiment or something.", Seb implied.

"But all they do is do things wrong! Like lie about christopher columbus of how he was a hero! And making war with Iraq! ", Victor replied angrily.

"Shoot, guys! Look over there! See those ponies?"

I saw two...no at least five of them against police men. They were all diving towards them with their wings but the police gunned two of them down. The other three were in terror and looked surprised.

"Guess these ponies know what a gun is", I muttered under my breath.

"It doesn't matter if they know what guns are or not. What matters is that THREE OF THEM ARE RUNNING TOWARDS US!!", Victor said tensly.

These ponies didn't have wings, they looked like normal ponies besides the weird colors. But they were amazingly fast because when I had looked over at them it almost looked like a car driving towards us.

"SHIT SHIT SHIT!", all three of us said out of order.

"What are we gonna do?!" Seb screamed.

"Just run! If they haven't been here for a long time then we can lose them in the alleys!" Victor had replied.

We ran for our lives that day.

We ran towards our homes but no one was there.

We ran away from the freaky ponies but we outsmarted them.

We ran away from the few thugs that were still here and sprinted away from them.

Most of the time Victor devised plans and ideas for both of us.

Before I had passed out I hear sirens and the evacuation call.

That must mean that almost all the people in the city were out of here.

It also means that our parents left us to die.

We had almost bawled our eyes out that day.

We had no idea what to do and no idea where to go.

The city was huge and getting from one burrow to another would take days with all these ponies around.

The next day I hoped things would be better.

The next day I hoped we would see our parents and loved ones.

The next day...

Started with a plan.

The first night of the day we had camped out at my place since Seb had lost his keys and Victors place was small. Plus my place was on the top floor and had many escape routes. One of those routes was escaping through the stair window.

"What are we gonna do if they catch us?" I had asked Victor.

"If they catch us then game over. The police force had already anchored down their opinions on us. They probaly think were savages or murderers, so we'll probaly be dead." Victor said.

"Do we have any defense against them?" Seb asked.

"Again what Victor said, They probaly don't know about the area of the city and don't know about guns. So the advantages are guns and losing them. Though I don't think any of us want to kill, so running away will probaly be the most sensible way." I replied.

"Let's think about this tomorrow, guys. I'm too tired to think right now." Victor said.

"Your right, let's get some rest and then in the morning we'll have a plan." I said.

"Good night." We said in unison.
