2 Bats and 6 ponies

The ponies could not believe what they were seeing. Batman's reflection, called Owlman, was matching him pound for pound. Batman went with a high kick, Owlman ducked and went to sweep the feet. Batman flipped over it and came down with a ground pound. Owlman rolled out of the way and tossed three owlranges which Batman countered with three batarangs. Owlman swung with a left hook, which Batman caught and threw. Owlman turned in the air and kicked himself off the wall  and attempted to hit Batman with a flying side kick. Batman ducked underneath the attack and tried to drive his shoulder into Owlman's ribs, only he braced the attack and used Batman's o2n force for him to clear the attack. It was like watching two master martial artist that knew each other very well and all through out the fight Owlman taunted Batman.

"Why bother fight me Batman? I'm the superior fighter, thinker, strategist, I am the better you."

Bruce remained silent for the fight and decided to constraint on the fight. "Why keep villians like Joker around, when you know he'll breakout and kill again? Why not kill him and cross the line?"

"Every life can be saved, some may not look it but they can be. You however never valued human life and that is why you'll lose to me."

"Oh really?"  Owlman asked before lashing out wi5h his cape. Batman yelled out as the sharp edges of Owlman's cape slice through his suit and slash his chest. Batman staggered back clutching his wound as Owlman advanced.

"But despite our differences, we are very similar, you and I."

"I'm nothing like-"

"Actually you are," Owlman cut in, still advancing towards the injured bat. "We have similar training, gadgets, and thoughts. The only real difference is that you choose to be a hero that will never be loved, where as I'm a success that is feared world wide and you could be that same thing."

"NEVER!"  Batman roared, tossing a haymaker at Owlman, he sighed and caught the haymaker in his crushing grip, before tossing a kick straight into Batman's side. A sickening CRACK echoed through the the air and Batman's face contorted with pain as one of his ribs cracked in half. He staggered to one knee and held his side. The ponies watching gasped and rushed to his aid only he held a hand to keep them back.

"You'll always be the rich boy lashing out at everything in rage,  even when you should  be mad at yourself, never be a true success."

"And you'll never have true friends. TWILIGHT NOW!" Owlman spun around to face the young alicorn, prepared for what she had planned.  Only to see confusion on her face and realized it to late, spun around and got a black gauntlet punched through his chest. With a smile Owlman transformed into water and slithered back into the pond but Batman  knew something was up. Looking up he saw the clown prince of crime holding a revolver and was pointing at him.

"So this is how it ends no fight to the end, just a point blank gun shot." Joker put his gun down and charged at the injured bat, but his punch was caught and Batman knocked Joker back, making him landed on his face and he pulled out his gun. Without aiming, Joker fired three bullets and each found their mark on Batman. One hit his left deltoid (shoulder muscle), another one hit right below his ribs cage, and the last one  punctured his right chest and broke another rib, that stopped the bullet from reaching his lung.

Looking at the bat now on all four and to the ponies, and smiled, "Time to see your friends die." Joker pointed his gun at the girls and they ran off In different directions and his last five bullets hit three of the girls. Twilight got two in her chest, Rainbow dash got two in her left side and the third one ripped through her left wing and grazed Applejack's flank. Laughing, seeing the three kneel from their new injuries, Joker didn't see Batman get up until it was too late and the dark knight punched in Jokers chest.

"Congratulation Bruce, you passed the test. Well done. Like Owlman, Joker transformed into water and went back into the pond, and Batman was back on the ground clutching his side as Pinkie and Rarity help the two injured girls, while Fluttershy rushed to Batman's aid.  Getting under one arm she help lift him until she couldn't get him higher up.

"We need to get them to a doctors now!"

"Aj go check on Cadence....Gah." Batman yelped as he stretched and the pain hit him hard. Nodding Applejack limped to the open door and stopped in her tracks when she saw Cadence crystalized. She approached the princess and heared some light muffling sounds. "Cadence are ya all right sugarcube?" The muffle got more clearer and it sounded like 'touch my cutie mark.' Raising a hoof, she tapped her cutie mark and the spell wore off and the crystal princess fell to the ground.

"Princess!" Aj shouted and slowly got her back on her four hooves. "Sombra...new...spell..." Applejack was stunned by the news and got her out and joined the others. The group made their back to the airship and put the injured in the cabin, except Bruce they placed him by the railing. The flight was slow as Fluttershy was removing the clouds and Applejack was behind the wheel, her injury was covered by Rarity.  In the cabin the fashion design unicorn was putting her skills to the test and removing the bullets and clean the wounds until they get home.

"There we go Dash."

"Thanks Rarity...Um are you going to help Bruce?"

Rarity stammered for a bit before answering. "Truthfully i think he might hit me if I hurt him."

Rainbow started laughing till she clutched her side whimpering, but still laughing a little. "That's funny. Please don't make laugh again." Rarity giggled. Outside Bruce was meditating best he can, taking slow breaths, slowing his heart rate, slowing his blood flow then h8s communicator came alive.

"Terry we got a problem. One that is over our heads, don't do anything stupid."

"Ookaaaay...."

Seeing motion in the corner in his eye, Bruce looked up and saw Fluttershy signaling for him to 'come here'. "Hold on." Slowly getting on his feet, he made his way to the cabin and Cadence was sitting up. "Tell your partner to head to Canterlot fast."

"Did you hear that?"

"Loud and clear boss." Taking his fingers off the communicator and headed outside and inside the distance he saw Canterlot and knew there was no way he was making it there, until he remembered that the batmobile was sucked into the portal as well. Pressing the center of his utility belt and made his way outside of Twilight's castle. Within  minutes the car arrived, it sustained minor scraps and dents from its fall. Wasting little time, Terry got in and made a 'b' line for the royal palace. The flight was quick as Terry reached mach 3, the batmobiles limit, but during the flight the young bat noticed that dark crystals popped out of the floor, some even imprisoned ponies in them. Flying over the city Terry also saw frozen ponies, some were trapped in frozen buildings.

"OK I think things got more complicated."

Seeing the palace coming in veiw Terry pulled on the top leavers and dropped, opened his wings, used his thrusters and headed straight for a window.

Inside the palace, throne room Celestia and Luna were on the defensive as Sombra was on the offensive and winning. Being completely unprepared and unarmed they sustained some damage. "How's are you even here? You were defeated years ago." Celestia questioned.

"After shadow can never truly be destroyed. But a god can be."

Celestia and her sister combined their magic and blasted Sombra, but it just fazed right through him. Summoning his own dark magic he blasted two crystals at the sisters and they each captured the princesses. "Now it's time I finished what I..."

SMASH

"What?!" Sombra roared, turing around and saw a gaint bat smash through the window and in a blink of an eye the bat landed a punch on him sending him half way across the room. "I suggest you leave or I'll have to hurt you." Terry warned as he walked to the shadow pony. Sombra smiled and fired a crimson blast at him, but Terry evaded the blast and fired two batarangs but like the magic they fazed through him. Thinking he has the upper hand, Sombra readied another blast but with a turn of the center part of his belt Terry turned invisible getting Sombra to stop his magic.

"What? How?!"

Looking around for his foe but too late. Terry cocked his fist back ready for an upper cut and gave the shadow tyrant a powerful upper cut. Immediately  Terry took to the air and unleashed an air melee ranging from punches, kicks, elbows, knees, and some of his hits were like hammers on the unsuspecting villian and the final hit was an axe kick, sending Sombra slamming into the marble floor, like a comet hitting earth. Still being camouflaged Terry landed by the fallen king. "I warned you now your paying the price."  Getting to one knee Sombra looked at the prizes he captured but he realized with this new foe they will have to wait.

"You'll pay for this." With that said Sombra vanished into the shadows, leaving Terry alone, looking at the sisters he whipped out two explosive batarangs and tossed them a few feet below them. The explosion completely shattered the crystals and the sisters fell to the floor unharmed, brusied but not harmed.

"We thank  you strange creature of the night we are Luna princess of the night this is our sister Princess Celestia, ruler of the sun and equestria. And what are you?"

"I'm a human, you can call me Batman."

"Thank you for saving us Batman, but I have to ask are you Terry? Twilight has mentioned something like you in one of her letters." Celestia asked.

"Yes your highness I am Terry, my mentor went with the girls to a cavran of some sort and told me that, that shadow thing was going be here."

"Can we talked and meet to this mentor of yours?"

"I believe he and the girls are heading to the hospital but once they heal I'm sure you can meet him. And he goes by Batman.

The sisters nodded and decided to give him a tour of the castle.
