2 Bats and 6 ponies

A couple days past and the citizans have grown use to the two bats hanging around town. Many interacted with Terry and avoid Bruce from time to time. Applejack was waiting at the train station, waiting for a special pony but instead of the regular train she saw the crystal train. "What in the hay is the crystal train doing here?" Asked the farm pony, as the train came to a stop she saw a crystal guard come out and she knew something ain't right. Walking towards the guard he soon recognized the pony and started to walk towards her.

"Morning Mrs Applejack I have a letter for Princess Twilight Sparkle can you please take me to her castle?"

Debating whether she should take him or wait for her friend, seeing the conductor she flagged I'm down by waving her hat. Catching the movement of the hat he headed over. "Yes?"

"When is the Ponyville train coming?"

"In about 2 hours do to the delay."

"Thank you"

Applejack waved the solider saying follow me and she lead him through the peaceful village that is until Terry and Rainbow dash crash land just in front of them and they were covered in brusies. "Told you he'll wipe the floor with use." Terry remarked as the two got up. "Dare I ask what happen." Both looked at each other then back to Applejack "To put it simply we challenged Batman to a two on one spar and he just wiped the floor with use without even breaking a sweat." Rainbow answered and Applejack couldn't hold back and laughted till she hit the floor. After the minute or two Applejack got back up and calmed down and she continued to take the guard to the castle. Arriving at the crystal castle the two were greeted by the cmc running and laughing out the door, smiling Applejack watched as her young sister ran off to help others find their cutie mark. Walking through the duo headed for the library and sure enough she was there as well as Bruce and as soon as the guard saw him he froze. Bruce was sitting crossed leg, candles circled him, he had his mask and suit on, his belt, cape, gauntlets and boots were off.

"He doesn't bite." Twilight said seeing the two "Applejack you can go back to the station I'll take care of this." Nodding the earth pony turned and raced back as fast as her hooves could carry her. "What can I do for you?" The guard handed the young alicorn the message. "Letter from Prince Shining Armor." Twilight smiled that her brother has written to her but as soon as she opened and read it her smile faded. "We'll handle it as soon as possible thank you. Tell him that me and the girls will bring her back safely." The guard nodded and he too went back to the station.

Bruce opened his eyes and looked at the violet mare. "Something is wrong right."

"My sister in-law is in trouble she hasn't returned home from her adventure."

This caught the old bats attention, getting up Bruce walked over to support Twilight as she lost the will to stand. He help place her on the couch and he read the letter. "Take your time to recover, call the girls and I'll come up with a plan."

"Thank you." After a few minutes Bruce left and came back with fresh tea for his friend and stared scanning for anything on the cavran of reflection. "Self 265 book 897 page 20 to 26." Quickly finding the book in the ancient history section, Bruce read about the cavran and the deadly riddle it held. He then began thought of a plan and if goes right he will be the only one injured and if it doesn't then he is risking their lives as well as his own. The pair slowly made their way to the throne room and Twilight summoned every pony to the castle, Rainbow and Terry were reading Daring do, Dashy was snuggled into Terry when her mark started glowing, Aj was showing her colt friend around the farm until she hand him over to Applebloom, and Aj wasn't too happy by this. Rarity and Fluttershy were doing a new line of fashion and Pinkie was baking for the cakes. "Oh the map." And with that she was gone in a pink blur.

One by one they made their way to the throne room and to their respective thrones.

"Darling what's the matter?"

"Yeah me and Ter were in the middle of..."

"Something might have happened to Cadence, she hasn't returned home." Twilight intrupted and every pony went silent.

"So what are we waiting for let's go get her." Rainbow blurted out and everyone nodded in agreement.

"We need a plan the cavran of reflection has a challenge that can kill you, according to history any way. Terry I want you to stay and get a rescue party ready if we don't return in two days. The rest of use will go to the cavran and find the princess and get her out of her mess." Bruce email stepped in

The mares looked at each other and looked at Batman and nodded. "But how are we going to get there?" Rarity  asked. "Nyx went to see her sister of the night to get an airship." Bruce said and no sooner as he said that the youngest alicorn came in with a giant smile on her face. "I got to drive the airship." Pinkie smiled back "Sweet that sounds funwasitfunIwanttodriveitknowcanIcanI."

"Pinkie slow down." Rainbow said getting the party pony to smile and blush.

"Sorry."

After they got an idea as to where the cave is they go to the airship get in and and headed Northwest, the ponies could easily move around but the 6 foot bat had to sit down almost as soon  as he got in. The ride was long and mostly quiet the girls were talking while Bruce sat in silence, preparing for a fight that's coming. Quiet hooves were clicking towards him, "Yes Fluttershy." The shy pegasus stopped but she slowly made her way to his side. "What happen during your child hood?" This caught everyponies attention and the old bat gave a defeated sigh.

"I was eight years old and me and my parents were coming from a movie, we went through an alley way, now called crime alley, a mugger came from the shadows and pointed a gun at use, dad did his best to convince the mugger to not harm use but he killed my parents right before my eyes and I made a vow on their Graves to rid the city of crime. Years of school, martial arts I became the feared vigilant in the city and I took the design of a bat to strike fear into the hearts of criminals."

Every pony was in complete shock and sadness for him and all six came down and hugged him, deep down he felt more warm inside and he smiled a little. Looking over his shoulder he saw the cavran off in the distance, "Uumm we are approaching our destination." Every pony went back to their stations and Applejack carefully landed the craft. Walking to the cavran the first thing they see were crystals and mirrors and in the center of cave was a pool and right above it was a stone tablet, walking towards it Twilight quietly read before Fluttershy asked what it read.

"It says to open this door you must face yourself in battle without friend or help. While some reflection may allure but one for you must be pure."

"And what the hay dose that mean?" Applejack asked

"It means that we have to find a perfect reflection of ourselves." Rarity answered. Everypony glanced at her with a questioning look. "Oh come on its about mirrors of course I'd know something about it."

Will you heard her, let's look for the best reflection." The ponies spread out while Batman sat in front of the pond.Twilight walked in front of a gain the crystal, that turned her into a giant mare.

"OK not this one." Twilight called out to the gang backing away slowly. Looking around she noticed that the mirrors and crystals gave an odd reflection back when some pony looked at them, and Batman was meditating by the pond. "I rake it you figured it out?"

"It seems he did." Came a voice from the shadows and very pony turned to see who it was and they couldn't believe their eyes. The owner of the voice was a tall dark grey unicorn that was wearing armor, a crown, and a red fur cape. His eyes were green with red iris "Sombra" Twilight snarled.

"Hello child."

"What have you done to my sister in law?"

"She's fine for now but in half hour she'll be mine, now will you save her or face me? And the only way to save her is to win against your own reflection without any help, so what will the princess of friendship choose?"

Before any pony could respond they heard water churning and two figures came out of the pond. One was built like Batman, clad in silver and grey and had an "O" on his chest, while the other one was lanky, dressed in purple, had green hair a white face and a smile that sent a chill down your spine.

"Joker, Owlman"

"Hello Bruce HAHAHAHA" Joker laughted. And as the girls turned their attention to the trio Sombra vanished
