馬鬼 (Umaoni/Equine Oni)

When Sunset left the room she noticed that a door was open and went in. Inside was what looked to be another bedroom. But something caught Sunset's eye. It was a lever at the end of the room. Going over to it she looked at the paper next to it and read it out loud.

"Up is heaven, the middle is earth, and down is hell," Sunset said.

Going to the lever, Sunset quickly got the impression that heaven wasn't such a good idea to pull it. So she pulled it all the way down.

"Ah, it broke," Sunset said.

Then she heard what sounded like a scraping noise. She looked and saw w wooden piece move to uncover a hole in the ground. Going over to it, Sunset stomped on it a bit.

"Well, that was pointless." Sunset said, "Why did that block move only to reveal a useless hole?"

Suddenly, she heard a cracking noise. Sunset was confused at first but then realized where the sound was coming from. Sunset didn't have any time to react as she found herself falling through the floor and onto her aching back.

"AAAAUGH! OWWWW!" Sunset yelled in pain sitting up to feel her back for a bit, "GOD DAMN IT! RRGH! MOTHER FUCKER! NGHH! At this rate, I'm gonna need a fucking wheelchair by the time I'm twenty-nine!"

Getting back up to her feet and cracking her back, back into place she noticed she was in what looked to be a piano room.  Going over to it, Sunset didn't notice anything wrong with it. It was an ordinary black piano.

"It's an ordinary piano." Sunset said, "..... Maybe I can play something?"

Getting her fingers ready she played the piano.

When Sunset got through playing Sunset was impressed.

"It's not off-tune, even if it has probably been here for years," Sunset said.

Sunset then left the room, unlocking the door, and walked across to the room near the staircase to the second floor. Inside was what looked to be another library.

"Jeesh!" Sunset groaned, "You'd think with all these libraries and bookshelves all over the damn place the original owner was a bigger bookworm than Twilight!"

But as she went in she saw someone who noticed her as well.

"Pinkie!!" Sunset shouted in glee.

"Sunset! You're okay!!" Pinkie said.

"Yes, thank Celestia." Sunset said, "Somehow."

"Right: after you left, a horrifying monster suddenly appeared from the hallway and came after us!" Pinkie said, "Rainbow Dash was the first to scream instead of Fluttershy this time! You... heard her, didn't you?"

"No, not at all..." Sunset said.

"I see. Rainbow's scream surprised me, too, and I was too confused at the time and tried to run away and leave you behind." Pinkie said sadly, "I'm sorry, Sunset... But the front door wouldn't open no matter what and we split up while running away."

"No need to apologize." Sunset said, "Anyone would have done the same in a situation like that. Even me. Still... what on earth is going on in this house? The exit door and the windows can't be opened. Our cell phones don't work either."

"Yep. Looks like we're locked up." Pinkie said, "But! I'm so glad I found you, Sunset!! Aren't you hurt or anything? Aren't you hungry?"

"I'm fine." Sunset said, "But... you're surprisingly calm about this, Pinkie. You were even wandering the house..."

"Well... When that monster appeared, I wanted to cry and cling to Rainbow, but... Well, both Rainbow and Fluttershy were acting like Scooby-Doo and Shaggy." Pinkie said, "So I figured someone needed to keep a level head, and even I was amazed by how calm I felt! And then I began to look around for everyone so we could get out of here as soon as possible!"

"That makes sense..." Sunset said, "I was startled at first, too, but after seeing everyone else so flustered, I felt oddly calm," Sunset said.

"So, what about Rainbow and Fluttershy?" Pinkie asked, "Haven't you found them yet?"

"No, I've found them." Sunset said, "They're on the fourth floor, but I'll explain the details on the way. They were both very worried about you. You'd better go and let them see you as soon as possible."

"Ah, okay!" Pinkie said, "Let's go together, then! I found some stuff when I was exploring, so I'll leave them with you. I also made some cake~ You can have that, too."

After eating some of the cake Sunset felt better and left the room with Pinkie Pie telling her all about what happened up until that point. As they went up to the fourth floor they entered the room where Fluttershy and Rainbow was and found Fluttershy cowering behind Rainbow Dash as she was looking ready to attack...

"AAAACK! Sunset! The THING! It's the THING!" Pinkie shouted.

"Tsk... You came too soon!" Rainbow shouted, "Sunset, take Pinkie with you and run!!"

"Pinkie! You're alright!" Fluttershy said in glee

"F-Fluttershy~ Ve... Your face looks weird..." Pinkie said, "And where did you get a whip?"

"Flutters and I will take care of this!! Just go, quickly!" Rainbow shouted.

Sunset didn't move.

"Sunset!!!" Rainbow shouted in rage.

"My, my... I must be losing my hearing by listening to loud music a lot. I can't hear you at all," Sunset said with a smirk.

"Wha...?! Huh?! Hey, Pinkie!!" Rainbow shouted.

"Oh, um... I've suddenly gone deaf, too!" Pinkie said.

"Pinkie!! You-"

"Now that you mention it~ We've been in peace for a while now, so I have completely forgotten about it~," Pinkie said.

"Pinkie... Sunset..." Fluttershy moped.

"It is my duty as a friend to fight along with you." Sunset said, "Let's go, Pinkie."

"Y-yeah!!!" Pinkie went

Sunset and Pinkie join Rainbow side and was prepared to battle. Sunset and Rainbow quickly laid down the first two strikes onto the creature while Pinkie Pie just braced for an attack. Fluttershy then mustered up all her courage, if she even has any, to swing her whip at the monster hitting it square in the left eye. Sunset and Rainbow just continued their nonstop barrage of slashes until the monster dodged a slash by Sunset did a lighting attack on her sending her down onto one knee for a bit. The creature dodged all the other attacks until Sunset did a solar flare hitting it and Rainbow did a Bear The Cross also hitting it. It was then followed by Fluttershy using her whip and Sunset going for another slash that missed, but Rainbow landed a critical blow across its face cutting into its right eye while Fluttershy went for another whip swing to the right eye gouging it out. Sunset then followed it up was a cut to the creature's left eye and finally Pinkie's pendant started glowing and a book came from her hair and into her hands.

"PEPERONCINO!" Pinkie shouted straightening her arm and opening her hand out towards the creature.

Suddenly it looked to have grown slower and did a bit of damage, but it only made it angrier.

"dIE!" It shouted.

Its horn lit up and knocked everyone back some, but Pinkie was sent flying back into the wall knocking her out cold.

"PINKIE!" The other shouted in horror.

In furry the trio layed down a barrage of attacks uppon the creature. The creature dodged some of Sunset and Rainbow's slashes, but couldn't dodge Fluttershy's whip. Sunset was then the one to lay down the finishing blow. And just like that it vansihed and Pinkie got up.

"It's gone..." Sunset said.

"Ve~ It really IS a ghost..." Pinkie said.

"Pinkie!!" Fluttershy yelled in fear as she and Rainbow Dash ran over to Pinkie.

"Are you hurt?" Sunset asked.

"The hell?! You totally ignored what I said!" Rainbow shouted.

"Rainbow, thought the two fo us alone could do something about it..." Fluttershy said.

"Sorry. You really helped. Are you okay, too?" Rainbow asked.

"Yep. But I'm so relieved now!" Pinkie said, "You two ran away really fast, so I'd been wondeting what happened to you."

"I am really glad that everyone is alright." Sunset said, "Now, what are we going to do from here?"

"Yeah. That Thing could show up here again, so we should move to a room that is safe as possible." Rainbow said, "Besides, if the four of us stick together, it won't be so scary."

"Good idea, Rainbow!!" Pinkie said.

"Now, let's serch for a room that looks as safe as possible. And let's not split up, of course," Sunset said.

"Roger, captain!!" Pinkie said.

The four just laughed. Sunset then went over to the closet and pulled out a wooden box and decided to take it with them. Heading out the room the four then went to the room where Sunset found the lever. Sunset went over to it and pulled the lever straight to the middle. The lever broke, but a key fell from the ceiling surprising thr group.

"Umm..." Sunset said in total confusion.

"How in the hell did that make any sense?" Rainbow asked.

"Beats me." Pinkie said, "And I usually don't make sense. That was just more random than me."

Picking up the key Sunset took a better look at it.

"Second floor living rooms." Sunset said, "Let's try there."

The group then went down to the second floor and tried it on the room across from where Sunset found Fluttershy's pendant. Inside the bedroom looked like nothing out of the ordinary, but then Sunset found a matchbox underneath the table and the group left and tried using the key on the room next to the third floor staircase. Going inside, after everyone was in, Sunset locked the door firmly.

"We can't get too careless, but I think we're safe here, for now." Rainbow said as she sat at the table, "We have the key, and the door is firmly locked from inside."

"It is only temporary, but it should do for one night, I suppose..." Sunset said.

"One night is good enough for me. I'm really tired from running around~," Pinkie said.

"You're right. We ran a lot for one day. It makes me feel like having some Pepsi or Mountain Dew..." Rainbow said.

"I'm a little cold, too..." Fluttershy said, "I wonder if it's because of this house?"

"If I'm not mistaken, we found some matches. There's also enough firewood for one night, so we can warm up," Sunset said.

"Hm. I'll do it, then," Rainbow said taking the matches and lighting a match then throwing it into the fireplace lighting up a fire on the fire wood.

"Ooh! That's nice, huh?" Pinkie said.

"Yes. I feel much better now that we have some light. And now I'm not alone, either," Sunet said.

"Yeah~ But it was really scary at first!" Pinkie said, "Even though Rainbow was the first to run away, it was me the monster chased after!"

Rainbow felt a bit embarrassed.

"Yeah, you're right." Fluttershy said, "I remember thinking, 'No, not Pinkie Pie!!' and then both the monster and Pinkie disappeared! And Rainbow had vanished too."

"I hate supernatural things!" Rainbow said, "B-besides... it's not like I ran and hid- Well, never mind now. As long as we're all okay, it doesn't matter."

"Yes, exactly. Besides, rather than think about how we acted in the past, we should discuss what to do from now on," Sunset said.

"I see. We can only conclude that that monster has really made us prisoners here." Rainbow said, "Though, having no way out is what really bothers me..."

"Indeed... I really wish I could go home. My shift at the animal shelter will begin tomorrow..." Fluttershy said.

"Me, too. I wish I could eat some cake or pasta like this," Pinkie said.

"Uh, hey, you keep talking about a way out... If all the exits are locked, why don't we just make one ourselves?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well, alright. So, the plan for tomorrow is to make a way out. We can't forget about that," Sunset said.

"Right. Well, now, I don't know what time it is, but let's sleep here for tonight," Sunset suggested.

"Wait. Won't it be dangerous if we all go to sleep? I think one of us should stay up to keep watch." Fluttershy suggested.

"Fluttershy's got a point." Rainbow said, "So, shall we do rock paper scissors to decide who will keep watch tonight?"

"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" all four went

Later that night, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow was asleep and Rainbow was keeping watch.

"Aah... Seriously, it's so fun being alone..." Rainbow groaned, "But those three are really sound asleep... Haa... If only I had my computer, I could update my blog. Now all I can do is take pictures of their sleeping faces. It's just... their serious faces when they were playing rock, paper, scissors... They looked awesome. I couldn't resist them."

Then everything went silent and Rainbow let out two sniffs.

"I'm kinda... cold." Rainbow said, "The fire is... strong enough. What the fuck?! I just felt a chill running down my spine..."

Suddenly, the door started clicking.

"Th-!! L-Look, this isn't funny. I'm just... hearing things, right?" Rainbow said to herself.

The door was still clicking.

"There's no one here! No one!!" Rainbow yelled a bit, "Why aren't those three waking up?! Can't they hear anything?! Hah! That's it! I'll use Fluttershy's strategy and pretend I'm not here! If I turn off my aura I won't be found!"

But the clicking still continued. Rainbow's face grew pale.

"... I guess I can't do it." Rainbow said, "Right, I have no choice then..."

Rainbow then got up from her spot and walked over to the door.

"Forgive me. It's tough being alone," Rainbow said, "... SHIT! No! I won't die yet!!"

Rainbow went outside and closed the door behind her. The only thing that could be heard was the sound of slashes, water dripping, and then a thud.

You can not easily set foor into that "mysterious mansion" in your town. Because if you anger it's former occupant, you will not get away lightly... Especially when there are no people there...

Later on the next morning, Applejack, Rarity, Sci-Twi, Flash Sentry, Timber Spruce, Gloriosa Daisy, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo found themselves in front of the mansion Rainbow, Sunset, Pinkie, and Fluttershy went into.

"It's really here!!" Sweetie Belle said.

"I thought it was just a rumor. But it's actually here..." Timber said.

"The desolate feel gives it a rather nice touch." Rarity said.

"I don't think it's very interesting though." Flash said.

"Did anyone jsut hear a voice just now?" Scootaloo asked.

"Oh Scootaloon you tease~!" Gloriosa said, "We didn't hear anything, did we?"

Flash only groaned in sadness before Applebloom patted him on the back.

"Still... It doesn't really look like a very fun place." Scootaloo said.

Applejack just didn't say a word.

"Well, why don't we take a little look inside and then go back? I think we can leave before nightfall," Gloriosa said.

"Yeah... I don't want to stay too long, either." Applejack said.

"Well, shall we go in?" Rarity said.

On the first floor, Flash, Gloriosa, and Scootaloo were talking.

"The rumors say that there is a ghost here right? That's why, nobody comes near the place..." Gloriosa said.

"No wonder. It's such an eerie place." Scootaloo said.

"Huh? How unusual of you Scootaloo?" Flash said, "Are you scared?"

"No, but it's a little... Hey, where is everyone?" Scootaloo asked.

"Um... They said they would leave the first floor to us, and then they went right up to the second floor." Gloriosa said.

"Hmmm... Then we'll..."

Suddenly the trio saw something coming straight for them. Meanwhile up at the second floor, Rarity, Applejack, and Timber were discussing what to do.

"It's cleaner than one would expect, ist it?" Rarity said.

"Y, yeah, but... Um, can we go now?" Applejack asked.

"What's the matter, Applejack? Are you scared?" Rarity asked.

"O-Of course not!! That's not it!! It's just that this place is sort of..." Applejack went.

"Haaa... It's silly. There are no ghosts here or anything. You can go back," Timber said.

Timber then went towards the room past the third floor staircase.

"You going to look around on your own?" Rarity asked.

"I'll just peek into this room. It smells bad." Timber said.

"What? Isn't that a little risky? Hey, w-wait!!" Applejack shouted
