After everything that went down at Camp Everfree, the girls had returned back to Canterolt High hoping to get things back on track. Instead, they come back to hear a rumor about a strange mansion on the outskirts of town saying with rumors claiming it was haunted from Pinkie Pie. Applejack, Sunset, Pinkie, and Rainbow Dash volunteered to check it out, but Pinkie instead insisted for it be Fluttershy who went in AJ's place. Now Fluttershy, Sunset, Pinkie, and Rainbow Dash find themselves walking down the path to the mansion, but Sunset along with the others soon notice something about Pinkie Pie and start getting questions in their head, like, why is she carrying a weird book? Why is she sweating a lot? And why is she holding onto her pendant like it was going to be taken away from her?
