Crimson calmed himself as he focused his ability to absorb more magic from the town, until a certain pair of ponies peaked his interest. 'The white unicorn and that Yellow pegasus, just what I wanted to see. A quick snack' he thought as they attempted to slowly crept their way towards town hall.

They hadn't witnessed the events leading up to Silver's vaporization from the beam of energy. Fluttershy and Rarity were trying to sneak away from behind a cart, when they witnessed Silver being vaporized. Now Fluttershy was weeping over her lost friend, while Rarity tried her best to get Fluttershy to calm down, so that the monster that took on the form of a darker Silver wouldn't hear them. "Fluttershy, we have to go now. The monster will kill us like the everypony else, if it finds us please darling" Rarity cried in panic trying to get her friend to move.

"You're right Rarity. Now is not the time to mourn. We have to escape" Fluttershy replied with sorrowful tears escaping her gentle eyes. When she looked up to Rarity's face she saw a look of horror, it took Fluttershy no time to figure out what she was staring at. It was the monster approaching towards them still taking the form of Silver.

"R-run!" Fluttershy managed to cry out, as she darted off towards town hall with Rarity close behind. However, before they could make it, the monster appeared in between them and their Sanctuary.

"Now where would you two be running off to, hmm? I hope you would stay for dinner little ponies" Crimson snarled, as shadows curled off his body onto the ground slowly making its way to them. However, Rarity wasn't having any of it, she knew what would happen if it had caught them before they made it to the Town Hall. She charged her horn with as much magic as she could muster and fired towards the monster. Impacting it directly in the face and blowing a large hole through it.

Rarity and Fluttershy thought it was over only for a slight second or two however, till they noticed it's head rebuilding itself. "H-how can t-that be, I t-thought I.." Rarity started mumbling, before she was hushed by a soft menacing chuckle. The monster was chuckling deviously as it finished reforming its head.

"What do you think that would've done?" it snapped, as its shadows jumped off the ground and lunged towards Rarity. However, luckily Rarity pulled up a shield that deflected the attack, but while deflecting the blow she was sent backwards into the Town Hall building.

Fluttershy was paralyzed from the pure horror that is now looming over her. She glared at the face of a true Nightmare, and it glared back. "Well, well... If it isn't Thomas's owner, Fluttershy was it?" Crimson inquired with barely any interest in his voice. Crimson waited for a moment before continuing after Fluttershy remained in a shaking state "Just amazing... the only time I actually thought about caring for knowing a name... Oh well" he growled raising his hand in the air as it changed into a long slender claws.

It was about to strike at her or it would have seemed to do if it hadn't jerked backwards catching the metal pipe that was swung at him. "Well, well, well... did little Thomas have some trouble being the hero?" Crimson snickered, as he disintegrated the pipe. "You pathetic little, ape" he spat, sending Thomas backwards through a building with the backhand from the claw, causing the walls to collapse along with the rest of the building. Thomas had gain deep cuts on his chest flowed by his left arm bent in an unnatural direction. "What an awful performance to save your master" he snickered, as he began to hover over towards Thomas.

Thomas Pov

Light had devised a plan to help the ponies military to defeat this 'Crimson', all I had to do is wait and stay out of his sight. Now I wait for Light to return, so he can deliver this finishing move he has planed. So I hid or at least tried till I saw it attack Fluttershy and Rarity. I owe Fluttershy a lot for taking care of me and I couldn't just stand there and watch that thing harm her.

Now I'm in this mess with the monster that was me or is me looking at me with the intent to kill me. I need to think of a way out of this and fast. "Why are you doing this to them, they have done nothing wrong" I demanded as I was barely able to even stand from the immense pain I was feeling. This for some reason threw him off guard, he stood there with a confused look at me and then began chuckling heinously.

"Oh, Thomas for a second there I thought you were serious. Then again, you did lose your memory. These ponies are just like Humanity from our world. They share a common trait that is annoying to me, they preach love and respect. However, they hardly seem to understand it. That's my issue with these ponies, they suppress their true nature. The nature that is distrust and false principles. They enslave Mankind, Thomas. Don't you tell me that that's what a nice race would do to another?" It shot back at me.

"I-I..." I couldn't finish it, he had me there. The history books that I read, talked about how the ponies were at one time in a constant war with their race. It wasn't till after they were united here in this land that they became peaceful, at the extent of other sentient species. Humans were acknowledged to had some degree of intelligence far before their unification. Despite, today humans being dumber than a pile of rocks.

"Do you know why I had exterminated our world too? Because everyone remained hateful and greedy. Far after I ended the countless wars and nearly brought the world under one banner, that banner being of mankind. I learned that it's human nature to hate, to want to take from others and I became something more powerful than anything in the world ever was or would be. Then I unleashed my full power upon the Earth, causing it and the universe to collapse in on itself. You see Thomas, in the end I was only following what was human nature, I was just like the world thought of me" Crimson spoke with a harsh serious tone.

He wasn't wrong Humanity was a violent race, starting wars for crappy reasons. However he can't change people who have been one way for thousands of years just by overnight. Crimson began to change his arms into large blades and directed them at me. Suddenly the Shadow that covered Ponyvile began to lift, as the pony guards burst into the city looking for survivors. Crimson's red light that shined from the edges of his body quickly faded as color turned to complete darkness.

Crimson went in for the kill, thrusting his bladed arms towards me and right as they were about to pierce into my flesh, it was blasted away with an extreme white light. I looked towards the source and behold Light had returned, about damn time he did too. "Rest now Thomas, I'll handle this from now on" Light said calmly as small spheres of white light appear around him and began firing at Crimson, forcing him to jump back to avoid getting hit.

As they began their magical light show of a battle, I sat down from the pain of being thrown through a building. I lowered my head and closed my eyes trying to not make my pan any worse than what it was. I heard Fluttershy say something which made me lift my head, she was looking upon me with her big turquoise eyes. I smiled underneath my mask, knowing that she was still alive because of me. "H-hey, you... okay?" I asked as I started to feel the pain in my back start to grow as the adrenaline rush began to diminish.

She went in for a hug which wasn't helpful for me with the pain and all. She pulled back after a moment of silence. "Thank you Thomas, you saved me" she replied softly. If the mask wasn't blocking my eyes, her gaze would have met mine perfectly. The pure thought of that made my spine tingle.

"Heh, well... we should probably get going. We don't want to get caught in their fight" I uttered, trying to get up. Only to find myself unable to rise, after falling back onto my butt. "Well, I can't get up. You think you can give me a little push?" I asked, kind of embarrassed to ask her for help. She nodded and pushed me from behind with her wings, allowing me to stand up. "Thanks, Fluttershy" I thanked, before we slowly walked away from the light show behind us.

Light was bombarding Crimson with many bright orbs of light, Crimson had at first dodged the attacks with great ease now found himself barely escaping their impact. "I'll give it to you Light, you used Thomas against me. I didn't see it coming"Crimson stated, before being hit by an orb of light; causing an explosion of energy to be released.

"Correction, I didn't make Thomas do anything, he just listened to me. You should know I cannot manipulate others" Light said calmly, sending more orbs at Crimson with high speeds.

Dodging the first two, he was struck by one at his leg, destroying it. Light hovered over Crimson as hundreds of glowing orbs surrounded them. "Heh, who would have thought that it would end like this?" Crimson laughed sinisterly, as the orbs turned into chains of light and began wrapping around Crimson.

Slowly the chains grew tighter and tighter as a crack began to form on Crimson's body. "I saw how this would end from the beginning Crimson, I always did" Light said coldly, with a slight sense of venom.

"Wait... what do you mean by always?" Crimson growled as he secretly charged up a small orb of shadows.

For a moment Light didn't respond as if he was thinking about his next move, choosing his next words closely. "Like I said, I knew what was to be before it happened. Most importantly, what has yet to become. Thomas may not know it but the dominos have fallen and one way or another he would have to make the same choice that I made. To save man or to leave them to their fate" Light replied, staring at Thomas and Fluttershy in the distance.

Crimson looked at Light as the cracks began to grow and spread across his body. "Are you saying you could've stopped me, but didn't?" Crimson inquired with deep curiosity. Light looked at Crimson and stood in silence as the glowing chains tighten more causing Crimson's legs to completely shatter and disappear. "I see, so tell me did you know about..." Crimson continued before Light stepped in.

"The orb? Yes. You should know by now that you won't be able to harm me, in your current state" Light informed as part of Crimson's head shattered into dust.

Crimson grew a weary smile. "Well then, catch" Crimson growled, sending the orb at high speeds past Light which caught him off guard. Quickly Light tried to destroy the orb with one of his, but his was too slow. The Orb went straight towards Thomas and Fluttershy.

Within seconds the orb made contact. The world stopped or so it had seen as the smoke had engulfed the impact site. Light turned to Crimson who now had become a pile of ash. Light quickly flew over into the smoke cloud which started to clear, allowing him to find Thomas. He was doing CPR on Fluttershy, the one who was hit by Crimson's attack.
