Pine trees and Purple Stars

Gravity Falls, 6:30, Somewhere in the forest, No One's POV

Snap!

"EEEK! What was that?!" Fluttershy squealed, hugging Pinkie. Pinkie hugged back in fear. They both stood there shaking.

"Girls, calm down," Rainbow said, "As long as I'm around, nothing will bother us." Twilight rolled her eyes. They continued walking up the stream.

thump thump thump thump

They all stopped,

Thump Thump Thump Thump

They all stood close together, Twilight pulled out the Emergency Gem,

Thump Thump Thump

"Ready?" Twilight asked, with her hand on the gem. The rest of them placed their hand on the gem.

. . . . . .

A bunny popped out of the bushes..

The grouped sighed. "Wow, I thought we were in real trouble there." Rainbow said, wiping the sweat off her forehead as everybody did.

Twilight's POV

I stuffed the EG (emergency gem) into my backpack. We were about to continue walking when, zip, the rabbit was sucked into the bushes. Oh Celestia I thought. Pairs of red eyes glowed from inside the bushes.

"Oh great! Now we're in trouble!" Rainbow commented. The red eyes rose and a HUGE spider emerged from the bushes.

"WHAT THE BUCK IS THAT?! Sorry Fluttershy." Rainbow yelled.

"It doesn't matter! RUN!" Pinkie screamed. We all took off. The spider was close behind. I tried getting the EG but it's kind of hard to reach behind your back when, you know, YOUR RUNNING FOR YOUR LIFE!

"We Just have to out run it!" I yelled to the others. I heard new footsteps coming. Oh great! More coming! I thought. I looked back and there were now three of them, and I could still hear footsteps coming. Then....I tripped. On a rock. I felt a surge of pain in my leg. I must have scrapped it. The others came back to me. We were surrounded. One of them swung at us. We all managed to duck.

Rainbow took a large stick and charged. "Aaaaaaahhhh" She screamed. She swung at one of the spiders. It caught the stick. "Oh crap."

It threw it and moved forward They closed in. They all hissed. One of them grabbed me. I screamed. I tried to wiggle my way out. Rainbow threw rocks and sticks at it, Pinkie soon did the same.

They shouted, "Let her go!" and insulted it. I could tell it really didn't like this. Fluttershy joined the "rock throwing and yelling" even though her yelling wasn't that loud and she only threw the small rocks. Then, I heard somepony, or in this case somebody, yell "Go!". From behind the trees, some green liquid was sprayed at the spider and it threw me against the tree. Everything went blurry. All I could tell was my friends rushed to me yelling "Twilight!" and the things behind the trees proceeding to spray the monsters. Then all went black.

I woke up on a table with couch cushions placed on it. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. My leg still hurt. I saw a light brown blob across the room, and a smaller dark blue and brown blob next to it.

"Girls she's awake!" I heard Pinkie's cheery voice say to my left. I looked and all I could see were three blurry blobs, one was mostly magenta, one was mostly light pink and one was mostly rainbow colored. I knew who each of them were. My friends came over to me.

"A-are you okay? You just blacked out after you hit the tree." Fluttershy asked.

"I'm fine. Just a little, blurry" I replied.

"That's because you'll need these." A male voice said. We turned to the brown blob carrying something. He came up to me and placed my glasses on my face.

"Thanks." I said, adjusting my glasses.

"Hey!" Rainbow said, "There's a crack in the glass."

The man laughed, "Never stopped me before." He pointed to a crack in his own glasses. "Dipper! You almost ready with the bandages?" He called to the younger male.

"Almost done!" He replied.

I could see he noticed our confused faces. "Oh where are my manners? My names Stanford, but please call me Ford." He said as he extended a handshake. I knew what it was since it was basically a hoofshake with hands. So, I shook his hand.

"I'm Twilight, Twilight Sparkle. That's Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow." I said pointing to all my friends as I said their names.

"Got the bandages Great Uncle Ford!" The boy in the back said. He brought the bandages over and kneeled down to my leg.

"Now this will only hurt a bit," he said, "But it will really help." I braced myself. It did sting a little when he first put it on, but it felt a lot better after. "I'm Dipper by the way." The boy said as he finished with the bandages.

I studied the bandage. "Hmm. Nice bandage pattern." I commented.

"Well, it's really all dependent on the length of the bandage spread across the equilibrium or the wound, as well as the width spread equally as well. It seems easy for me to make things into mathematical equations." Dipper described.

Rainbow chuckled, "Wow Twilight, we found somebody who's as much of an egghead as you are!"

"Rainbow!" Fluttershy interrupted her muffled laughter, "That's rude! These people just saved our lives!"

"Don't worry about it." Dipper said, "I get that stuff all the time from my twin sister Mabel. By the way I bet she's eager to meet you guys. She was really confused when we came in with you guys."

"Well what are we waiting for?" Pinkie asked excitedly, "We're the kind of girls who are always up for making friends!" Now that was true.

Everyone got up. "Can you walk?" Dipper asked me.

"I, think so." I replied. I limped but I could still walk. "I think I'm good"

"Okay then." Dipper said, "Tell me if you have any problems with the bandages." I smiled. I grabbed my backpack and we made our way upstairs. When we got out we were in some sort of gift shop or trinket store.

"What is this place?" Fluttershy asked.

        "I like it!" Pinkie said, looking around

Dipper answered, "The Mystery Shack! The most visited tourist trap in Gravity Falls, Oregon!" We all laughed at his advertiser impression. "It's also our Great Uncle Stan's house." Knowing that we had a constant way home, and the fact that these humans speak our language, we didn't need to know where we were, so we all played along.

"You have two great uncles?" Pinkie asked, surprised.

"Yea, but it's a long story. Mabel!" he yelled. We heard thumps coming from what I can only guess was a stairwell. A young girl came around the corner. She had braces in her teeth and her brown hair went down to her waist. She was wearing a purple night gown.

"Oh my gosh I love your hair!" she pointed to me. Before I could say thank you, she pointed to my other friends. "And I love your hair! It's so rainbow-y! *gasp* And I especially love your hair and your hair!" She said as she pointed to Pinkie and Fluttershy.

"Umm...thanks." Fluttershy said.

"Thanks! I try to keep it as fluffy as possible!" Pinkie said, puffing her hair out.

"Well, hi! I'm Mabel, I'm 12 and I'm weirder then most other people!" She said quite proudly. "

        "Do you girls have a place to stay? I mean, you were pretty far into the forest." Dipper asked us. I got kind of nervous, I didn't know exactly what to say.

        "Well, not exactly, I mean, we aren't really from around here."

        "Can you girls stay for a sleepover? Since you're new, you probably don't have many friends around here." Mabel asked.

I gasped. "Sleepover?! Oh my gosh yes! I've only ever had one sleepover and, well, let's just say a tree ended up crashing into my house so it wasn't the best experience."

"If I can plan a good party, I could plan an even better sleepover!" Pinkie said, jumping up and down with excitement. Pinkie, Fluttershy, Mabel, Rainbow and I went up to Mabel and Dipper's room. So far, so good. Besides, we were only staying in this world for about a week to gain information about other worlds. I mean, that's what Celestia sent us for.
