Pine trees and Purple Stars

Gravity Falls, 7:30PM, No Ones POV

Everyone was in Mabel's room sitting on top of pillows. Dipper was downstairs watching T.V. with his 2 great uncles. Soos and Wendy were at their homes.

"Okay, so what do you girls want to do first?" Mabel asked, looking around the room.

"A pillow fight?" Rainbow asked.

"Baking cupcakes?" Pinkie asked, pulling one of her 'Emergency Cupcake' sets. "I've got everything right here in my bag!"

"Maybe Truth or Dare?" Twilight asked.

"Hmm, well, I do have a Truth or Dare bored game." Mabel said thinking. "Oh my gosh! I know!" She went into the closet and grabbed a suitcase shaped machine with a microphone and a screen. "This is my karaoke machine."

Pinkie gasped. "Oh my gosh! Karaoke? Twilight!" Twilight turned to Pinkie, confused as to why she addressed her. "You were in that band you told us about."

Twilight realized that she was talking about that time at CHS when she, and the human versions of her friends, used music to defeat the Sirens.

"Wait, wait, wait, you were in a band?" Mabel asked amazed. Twilight laughed nervously.

"Well, kind of, yea, I guess. I mean it wasn't for long. I mean...ugh." Twilight face palmed. "Yes, I was in a band." she said finally.

"Ooh that must mean you could go first." Mabel said, handing the mic to Twilight. Twilight didn't want to sing, due to the fact that she might transform when she sung, like at CHS.

"Oh umm, I don't really..." Twilight said, fiddling with her hair.

"Oh come on Twilight, have a little fun once in a while. It's not like you haven't done it before." Rainbow said, sitting against one of the beds.

"Yea Twilight!" Pinkie said. "Give it a try!" Her friends didn't realize the possibilities, and she couldn't exactly tell them now.

"Well...okay then." Twilight grabbed the mic and stood up. She bent down and entered the song selection on the karaoke machine. She tried to find a song that was remotely familiar. She came across a section that sparked something in her mind.

"'My Little Pony' songs? What are those?" Twilight asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh, I've had this machine ever since I was four." Mabel explained. "My mom downloaded those songs on since I was obsessed with the show 'My Little Pony' when I was younger. I don't remember anything about the show, but I think they still run it."

Twilight, now interested, entered the selection. As soon as the songs popped up, she recognized the very first one, 'Shake Your Tail'.

She selected the song and a countdown began from 10 to 1.

"Just follow the lyrics on the screen and the instrumentals will be played by the machine!" Mabel clarified. The countdown ended and the song began.

Then, Twilight sang..."We've just got the day, to get ready. And there's only so much time to lose....

                                              One song later.....

"Shake your tail 'cause we're here to have a party tonight!" Twilight finished. The karaoke machine stopped the music and went back to the song selection screen. Everyone's mouth was open.

"Wow you were great Twilight!" Pinkie commented, throwing her arms into the air.

"Yea, no wonder you were in a band." Mabel exclaimed.

"It was very good." Fluttershy noted.

"I totally agree Flutters." Rainbow replied.

"Thanks girls." Twilight said, blushing a little. "Now who's next?" Before anyone could answer, there was a knock at the door.

"I got it!" Mabel exclaimed, running to the door. "Oh hey bro!" she said, seeing her brother Dipper at the door.

"Hey sis! Do you mind if I grab something?" he asked.

"Of course." she answered, stepping out of the way and bowing as if he was royalty. He opened their closet and rummaged through it.

"Hey by the way," Dipper said, still searching for whatever he was looking for, "Whoever was singing that song you were playing was pretty good." He found what he was looking for. It was a box. They couldn't see the top.

"Well that was Twilight over there. We were doing karaoke." Mabel clarified. Dipper's eyes widened as he looked up from his box.

"Wait that was you?" he asked, looking at Twilight. She nodded, feeling a bit embarrassed, even though she wasn't sure why. "Wow, Ford and I thought you were listening to the radio extremely loudly. You're pretty......good! Uh good, yea. You should be a signer... singer!" He face-palmed himself and whispered "stupid" to himself.

"Hehe...thanks I guess..." Twilight replied. Then there was awkward silence for about 4 seconds.

"So...anyways..." Rainbow said, breaking the silence.

"What are you guys doing down there?" Pinkie asked.

"Oh! Stan just went to bed so we are just going to start a game of 'Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons'" He answered, showing us the cover.

"OH MY GOSH YOU HAVE THAT GAME?!" Twilight abruptly asked. Everyone's heads turned to her.

"Yes! You've played it before?" Dipper asked surprised.

"Of course! I haven't played that game since I was younger!" Twilight answered filled with joy at the fact that they had this game and that they knew about it.

"Well you're welcome to join us...i-if you want to." Dipper stuttered. Twilight looked back at her friends.

"Oh go ahead!" Pinkie said.

"Are you girls sure? I don't want to be rude or anything." Twilight didn't want to leave a bad impression in front of Mabel.

"Oh it's okay! Go have your fun! We'll be up here doing more karaoke." Mabel reassured her. The rest of them nodded in agreement.

"Twilight smiled, "Thanks girls." They made their way out of room. Mabel and the others could hear Dipper yell, "Great Uncle Ford! We have another player!"

Gravity Falls, A Cave Behind the Waterfall, 8:00PM, No POV

"Hmm, this should be the right dimension after tracking their dimensional magic trail for about an hour or two," Discord said appearing in a cave behind a waterfall. "Now the question is where did Fluttershy go? And the other ponies I guess..." He saw the waterfall blocking the entrance/exit. "Well obviously they didn't go that way. Assuming the appeared here at all. I could be a bit off." He looked around for clues. He head a sound coming from farther inside the cave. "Fluttershy?" he shouted down into the cave. Being the creature he was, with the powers he had, he wasn't afraid of any other creatures he might have found.

He heard a faint, "D-Discord?"

"FLUTTERSHY?!" He flew as fast as he could farther into the cave. "Fluttershy?! FLUTTERSHY?" He yelled as he made his way farther and farther into the cave.

"Discord? Help!"

He arrived to a pedestal holding a silver necklace in the shape of a square with an orange gem.

Discord was confused, for once in his life. That's not Fluttershy... he thought.

"Discord help! We're in here!" Fluttershy's yelling was coming from the necklace. Discord was skeptical, he didn't really fool around with enchanted objects unless he knew what they did. But, what if Fluttershy was really in there? He couldn't just leave his first and dearest friend trapped in an enchanted necklace forever!

"Fluttershy are you in there?" he asked looking closely at the gem in the center.

"Discord! Oh thank Celestia you're here!" he heard Twilights voice say.

"Twilight? You're in there too?" As the one who freed him from Tirek, he also deeply cared for Twilight, just not exactly as much as Fluttershy. "How did you girls get in there?"

"We were trapped!" Twilight said. "The only way to get us out is to put on the necklace!"

Discord wasn't so sure. "Are you completely sure Twilight?" he asked.

Then he heard everybody yell "YES!"

"Okay! Okay don't get your mane in a twist!" He levitated the necklace over to him and inspected it.

"Just put it on Discord!" He heard Rainbow yell impatiently. "Free us already!" Surprised by the yelling he rushed the necklace on. There was a bright glow. Discord expected Fluttershy, Twilight and the rest would appear in front of him. Instead, his vision faded to black...
