Episode Three

I was most grateful to my mother, I had to admit, for the accomodation arrangements. The lavender unicorn Twilight Sparkle, much befitting her mere student status, was given a treehouse—if a rather splendid specimen—in which to store all of her many books. She lived with the little dragon of hers, too;  Spike was a sweet creature, though frankly everypony was a friend of mine.

I, however, hadn't needed to rely on my mother to provide for me; I had merely built my own palace in the middle of town. It was a little rough around the edges, because even I was not quite perfect, hard as it may have been to believe (though I would never brag). Frankly, I could have done better, but at the same time to have done so would surely have made the poor ponies of Ponyville feel inferior. Hence, the intricate stained glass windows were not quite as bright as they could have been and the door—oh, gosh, the door! It wasn't even painted, the horror!

I giggled to myself as I trotted out of the unpainted, hellish door, looking perhaps more like a ballet dancer in my movements than a mere jogger, and I opened my wings in all their rainbow-coloured glory. I took a moment to smell the sweet spring air before I then took to the sky, drifting up slowly before I shot forwards. I was a blur as I raced through the air, spinning as I did so and giggling. It was a simple manoevre, and I was rather disappointed by the trail of bright pink which was left behind me, crackling with electricity. It still drew a lot of gasps from the crowds beneath me though.

Since I was so talented at magic, it had been easy for me to reciprocate the spell of Princess Candence's to force the element bearing ponies to bond. Naturally, it had gone seamlessly; when they awoke from their trance, with a nudge in the right direction by my smooth, silky voice, they were more than happy to agree to be friends. Twilight was reluctant at first, of course, but my seamless way with words broke her in the end.

Was I not the most generous pony ever, giving up my time like so? It certainly seemed the case, in my most valued opinion.

I smiled to myself as I shot through the sky, then landing perfectly without the slightest skid outside Sweet Apple Acres. I was rather good at landings, I had to admit.

I had an important issue to deal with, though. I could just tell that something was wrong; my feathers were all tingly, a sure sign that my talents were needed here. How did I know to come here? Magic, of course.

I didn't need to look for Twilight to solve the issue; I simply flared up my magic and, focusing on her image, popped up right before her. She, accompanied by the orange one and the rainbow one—Applejack and Rainbow Dash, I knew for certain—screamed and scrambled away from me. They gasped for breath and squeaked at my appearance; I rolled my eyes and released a calming aroma from my horn, a magical ability that I had honed over sheer minutes of study, which promptly made them settle.

"I, Princess Carmine Carnation Cerise Tiara, am now here to help resolve whatever issue you may be experiencing." I bowed my head slightly as I continued. "Whatever is the matter, my dear little ponies and cherished friends?"

Twilight, no longer looking like a deer in the carriage lights, levitated a pair of golden tickets up to me. I assessed them slightly before guessing, "You only have two tickets, but all your friends want to go to the Gala?"

Twilight nodded eagerly, letting out a sad sigh. "Well, both Applejack here and Rainbow Dash want it, and I'm sure the other girls will. Uh, what were their names again?"

I waved my hoof through the air. "Shush, Twilight. It is no matter; I shall resolve this issue." With that, I reared up and snapped out my wings, blasting from my spot and into the air. After half a second of flying, I then disappeared with a pop and reappeared in Canterlot, before my mother herself. "Hello, Mother. Might I copy Twilight's gala tickets to solve a little predicament?"

My mother beamed at me and trotted over, ruffling my mane. "I'm so proud of you, dear," she whispered, kissing my cheek. "I trust you completely; of course you can."

"Thank you, mother!" I chirped before I popped back to Sweet Apple Acres, nearly scaring Twilight and Rainbow Dash to death. Poor Applejack, though, genuinely did look like she had had a fit; with a sigh, I rose a hoof to her chest and pressed down gently, pumping for a mere millisecond before the life returned to her.

"Hoo—ee!" she cried, bowing her head to me. I nodded in return and grinned before I turned back to Twilight and took the tickets from her magic. I then closed my eyes and focused before, out of absolutely nowhere, golden scraps began to rain from the sky. When there were enough covering the ground to at least supply all of Ponyville, I then wrapped them in my aura and teleported each directly into the recipient's mailbox.

"Et, voila!" I said as I held the original scraps out, returning them to Twilight. "Now that everypony has a ticket, a crisis has been averted!" I giggled a little and then flared up my horn, teleporting all of us to the local cafe. Servers began to scamper about the second they saw us, waiting on our every back and call. "So, why don't we celebrate with lunch?"
