If there's one thing that I hate more than being alone is being bullied. Of course bullying isn't the only problem I'm facing at the very moment. With the amount of smacks and punches I've received lately have nothing but hell. I've tried my best to ignore it and move on with it but it proved to be impossible. Not just that but telling the principal about my problems isn't the best idea either. Whenever I end up getting my face punched, my attackers would often warn me if I ever told anyone, it would hell for me. This is why I don't go and ask for help anymore. Heck, I never bother telling my mom about it. Even though I have no doubt that my life will be like this forever, at least I still have my friends.

Even though we don't always hangout, I'm still grateful to be with them. While some are guys, most of them are girls. One of the girls like Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer and Fluttershy have always been there for me ever since my first day here in Canterlot High. If there's one thing I like about them is that they are nice, cool and awesome people to be with. But among all the girls that I have hangout with, none of them compare to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash, the most athletic, strongest and loyal female girls in CHS. She has a great reputation for being one of the most popular girls along with her friends. From them saving the school from Sunset's wrath, defeating the Sirens who tried to mind control the entire school and saving our world's Twilight from turning into a demon-like version of her from CHS's rivalry school Crystal Prep. It's even more shocking to know that every time she plays her electric guitar, she would pony up! It's so amazing to see her in her cute pony ears and wings. Everything about her is amazing.

Her beautiful magenta eyes, her bright rainbow hair, her cute raspy voice and her tomboyish personality. Yes, everything about her is truly amazing. Even though she can be a bit obnoxious and childish sometimes, she is still my best friend. Speaking of that, she and I have known each other ever since kindergarten. I remember it was like yesterday when we first met.....

7 Years Ago.....

It was a warm and sunny day here in Canterlot Preschool as I was eating lunch under a big tree. As I was eating, I can see a ton of kids my age playing around and chasing each other. It sucks that I don't have any friends. As I finishing up my lunch, I was then greeted by two shadowy figures blocking the view of the school. When I looked up, my heart sank as if a ton of bricks fell on me. Standing in front of me was two of the most meanest and scary bullies here in school. Gilda and Lightning Dust.

"Well what do we got here, you must be the new kid." said Gilda in a sarcastic sweet voice. I didn't bother looking up as sweat started pouring down my forehead.

"I've never seen a kid this weird and stupid!" said Lightning Dust as she whips her hair. My heart was racing as if I were in danger. As a matter in fact, I am! Before I would have done anything, my lunchbox was then swapped away from one of the girls as they threw it a few feet away from me.

"Are you even listening to a word I'm saying!" yelled Gilda as she and Lightning Dust got closer to me. I wanted to run but I couldn't, not in this situation. Before I would say anything, I was then grabbed from my shirt collar and thrown pinned back against the tree.

"P-Please s-stop!" I said tears leaking out of my eyes.

"Oh so you talk huh?" said Gilda with a sarcastic chuckle. Don't worry, I'll stop..... as soon as I teach you a lesson for ignoring me!"

"Oh this is going to be fun." said Lightning Dust as she cracked her knuckles.

Thinking this was going to be a painful experience, I quickly shut my eyes praying this would be all over. But the punch never came. In fact, I was then let go by Gilda's grasp as she and Lightning Dust were thrown on the ground. I looked up to see a rainbow haired girl glaring at the two of them with her hands clenched.

"Leave him alone!" she said in angry tone.

"Stay out of this Rainbow Crash, this doesn't concern you!" said Gilda wiping her bloody nose.

"Why don't you make me!" she said as she places both of her hands on her hips giving the two girls a look.

"Why you-" Before she could do anything else, she was then restrain by Lightning Dust who was trying to pull her away.

"Come on Gilda, she ain't worth it." she said as they both disappeared inside the school.

I couldn't believe on what I was seeing. I honestly thought I was going to die here. But instead I was saved by a girl who stood up for me. As I looked up at her, I noticed that she has been staring down at me with a soft smile. She kneels down and places a hand on my shoulders.

"It's alright buddy, your okay." she said giving me a soft smile.

I didn't know if I was still in danger or if I'm safe. Either way, I got up from the ground and gently brushed the dirt away from my shirt. She then looks up at me with a concern look.

"You alright?" she asked me. I lightly nodded my head as a smile appeared on her lips.

"That's good." she said whipping her hair. Before I could say anything, she then starts inspect me

as if she never seems to know me.

"You must be the new kid right?" she asked me. My face was turning red due to of her face was closer to mines. I quickly nodded before she would've brought her face any closer.

"Oh that's cool, I'm Rainbow Dash!" she said extending her hands to me. "What's your name?"

"S-Sky B-Blaze." I said as I accepted her hand shaking it.

"Sky Blaze huh, that's a cool name." she said. I blushed softly from her comment.

"Hey listen sorry about those two." she said. "You just gotta ignore them."

"Oh, y-yeah don't worry, I'll try to ignore them." I said stammering. I could have sworn I heard her chuckling a bit.

"So now that everything's cool, you wanna be friends?" she asked me.

"W-What, you w-want to be f-friends with me?" I asked. I didn't have any friends so why does she want to be my friend?

"Sure!" she said with excitement.

"B-But why?" I asked in a shocked but confused look.

"Because you look awesome to hang out!" she said. I almost didn't want to believe her but from the looks of it, she seems to be telling the truth. "So, what'd you say?"

"Uhh, y-yeah, I like to be your friend Rainbow Dash." I said soft smile.

"Awesome!" she said with a bright smile. "Come on, let me introduce you to some of my friends!" I then picked up my lunchbox that was thrown away previously from Gilda and we both started walking towards the school. Unknown to Rainbow Dash, I smile formed onto my lips and it never once left.

Ever since then not, only have we became best friends, but we've been inseparable ever since. We basically do everything together. As far as I know, I'm glad to have Rainbow Dash as my best friend. Yet sometimes I can't help but notice something different about her. Whenever I'm close to her, my cheeks starts to heat up. Whenever she comes and defends me from bullies, my heart starts racing. And whenever we hang out, my breathing becomes impossible for me to breathe. Everytime I have these thoughts, my mind would go crazy.

BEEP BEEP BEEP!

I was then interrupted by my watching beeping. It was getting late and I have to catch the bus home. As I made my way to the front entrance of the school, I heard footsteps coming from behind me. Before I could turn around, I was then grabbed from my backpack and thrown violently against the lockers. I looked up to see none other than Gilda.

"What up dweeb." she says with a look on her face.

"Gilda, w-what do you w-want?" I asked nervously. She looks down at me before letting out a sarcastic laugh. I can feel my entire body shaking. Without warning, she raises her first and plants a strong punch on my left cheek.

"Give me your wallet." she said. I started to move away from her but Gilda stopped me by putting her foot onto my chest pinning me to the ground.

"I said give me your wallet!" she says in fury. She then punches me in the face again adding enough force to send me to ground. I grunted softly as a sharp pain flows onto my back. I once again looked up to Gilda looking at me with a stern look on her face.

She was just about to raise her fist again when all of the sudden she was then tackled to the ground by an unseen force. I turned around to see Rainbow Dash, standing a few feet away from me looking at Gilda with a very pissed-look on her face.

"What the heck are you doing Gilda, leave Blaze alone." she says as she walks towards me making sure I was okay. Gilda slowly gets up from the ground and holds her now bloody nose.

"You'll pay for this Rainbow Dash." she says in anger before turning around and disappearing in the hallway. Rainbow Dash looks down at me to see a small bruise forming on my cheeks.

"Blaze are you okay?" she asks.

"Uh y-yeah, I think I'm alright." I said. Once again, I thought I was going to die here again. But thanks to Rainbow Dash, I'm safe.

"I groan in pain as I tried to get up from the ground. Rainbow Dash took notice of my reaction and helped me up from the ground.

Here, why don't I drive you home." she asks. I was about to decline her offer since my house is about ten minutes from here, but knowing she might not take no for an answer, I nod my head before we started making our way into the front entrance of the school. As we walked in silence towards her car, I couldn't help but notice Rainbow Dash with a glare on her face. I didn't say a word as we got to her car. She unlocks the door for me and I slowly got into the front seat, avoiding the pain that is quickly forming onto my back. She starts her car and she starts to make her way out of the school and into the street.
