The 2nd Battle of The Bands

One more day before the event,and the Rainbooms still haven't decided what song should they play on the Battle of the Bands.

"How about awesome as I wanna be".Rainbow Dash."Umm...can we play 'Better than Ever' on the first round?"Fluttershy asked softly."Good choice,Darling".Rarity replied."Okay,everything's listed on what were singing in the Battle of the Bands".Sunset announced."1st Round we're singing Better Than Ever.2nd Round is Awesome as I wanna be.3rd Round is Shake your Tail.And if we get to the finals we still don't have a song for it".Sunset said.

"I think I might have one but I'll tell you when it's ready.And don't worry,You know this but we don't usually sing this often".Twilight added."Yay!!Lets do it!!!".Pinki pie shouting.

"But before we practice,I guess Twilight will sing.Is that alright with you?".Sunset asked."I agree with sunset,Twilight usually the lead singer in our group.Since Twilight here doesn't know how to play a guitar or any of our instrument,It's best she'll be our lead singer.Isn't that right Sugarcube?"Applejack asked."Sure why not".Twilight replied.Okay,now it's settled.It's time to practice!"Sunset added."Yeah!!!"The Rainboom shout in unison...

Meanwhile at the cafeteria,Moonlight Sparks was practicing for the Battle of the Band when suddenly Ember Blaze sat next to him with a burger on the left hand and a soda on the other hand.

"So what're we actually be doing right now?"Ember askedbefore taking another bite at her burger."Well hope your overconfidence pays off..."Moonlight replied while practicing with his guitar."Or else this is all for nothing".He added."Don't worry,They maybe their counter parts.But they're still the same".She replied with a sheepish smile.Moonlight couldn't help but put a smile at her."Come on,Let's pick our song and get ready for our battle against the Rainbooms".Moonlight said."Sure thing".She replied.

Meanwhile inside the music room,The Rainbooms just finished practicing.

"Nice going everyone!".Sunset Shouted.Sunset looked at her watch to know what time it is."I guess we should finish this later after school".She said.With a nod,all Rainboom member gone to their separated class.

After school bell rang signaling the end of the class for the day,The Rainbooms goes to the music room to practice for a while.Not long before The Rainbooms and The Blazing Sparks saw each other face-to-face.

"So 'Blazing Sparks' huh?"Rainbow Dash asked."Yeah,so what?"Ember replied."Nothing,But I gotta admit,Cool name".Rainbow added."Is that even a compliment coming from you?"Ember asked grinning at Rainbow."Maybe it is,Maybe it isn't.But still you not gonna beat the Rainbooms right guys?"Rainbow asked her friends.

"Yeah!"Sunset cheered."Yay".Fluttershy with a soft cheer."Your right,Darling".Rarity cheered as well."Whoopeee!!!"Pinkie pie cheered the loudest."You bet Rainbow".Applejack added."Indeed".Twilight added.

"Well,Good luck,Were rooting for you.Not literally".Ember replied before putting a smile on her face."Come on Moonlight,Let's go practice somewhere else".Ember added before carrying her instrument ran outside leaving Moonlight.

"Don't worry about her Overconfidence.It doesn't end well everytime but,be careful cause sometimes she play dirty even on competitions like this".After Moonlight said to the girls,

He pick up his guitar case and walk towards the exit.When he's outside he saw Ember at the statue waiting.

"Took you long enough".Ember said sarcastically."Well enough of that,We should practice at the back of the school".She added."Okay".Moonlight replied.

After short conversation,they walked their way towards the back of the school.

After their encounter,The girls proceeds on their walk to the music room.When they opened the door.Everyone gasped at what they'ed seen.

"What happened here?"Sunset asked.

Their costumes scattered everywhere,Trashcans laying on the floor.

"It's them, I tell ya".Rainbow Dash replied furiously."Don't you go pointing fingers there Rainbow,We don't really know if they did".Applejack calming Rainbow Dash."Well whoever did this,We don't have time to figure out.We should clean all this up".Twilight suggested.

After hearing that,Rarity immediately pick all the scattered costumes."Ugh,Whoever did this will pay for the costumes!!"Rarity said furiously.Everyone turned their stare at Rarity."What?"

After their clean up at the music room,Sunset found out that their clipboard of the songs they're going to play for the Battle of the bands is gone.

"Um... guys?Where's the clipboard of our songs?"Sunset asked the others.They shook their heads."Wait...What?!?"They all said in unison.

"So these are the songs their going to use for the event?"Moonlight asked."Yup,well except for one actually".Ember replied."You really have some talents taking something right under there noses".Moonlight said then smiled at Ember.She said nothing but smiled back.

After their short happy conversation,They both look at the clipboard once more.

"They have their songs for the first,second,and third round of the competition,but no song for the finals".Ember siad."Whatever it is,I'm gonna guarantee it's going to be great".Moonlight said."Yup,I think so too".Ember replied.

"What do you mean it's gone?!?"asked Rainbow Dash."I mean it's gone".Sunset replied."It's nowhere to be found".She added."Where did you put it actually?"Fluttershy softly asked.

"After our practice,I put it over their".Sunset replied pointing at the grand piano."Ah' bet they took it,Sunset".Applejack said."I think so too".Twilight agreed."Me too,Darling".Rarity added."Me three!"Pinkie agreed as well."Well I don't know what song are we playing first or what song are we even playing in the competition".Sunset said.

Suddenly,Someone was knocking at the door.It was Moonlight with Ember on his side."What do you two want?"Rainbow Dash asked furiously."Well,We have something to give you".Moonlight replied and handed a clipboard of the songs of the Rainbooms."So you did take it?"Sunset asked."Actually,Ember here took it and she's the one who trashed the room".

Moonlight stared at Ember after he replied."Say you're sorry,young lady".Moonlight asked Ember."I'm sorry".Ember apologized and muttered."Fine,we forgive you but do it again,you will regret it,got it?"Rainbow Dash threatened Ember.Ember nodded.

After that the two students left the music room."Well,We got our songs back,Let's practice".Rainbow said excitedly."Too late,It's going to be dark soon".Twilight replied."Aw man".Rainbow Dash frowned.

They all gone home except Twilight and Sunset still standing front of the statue.

"Come to think about it,Maybe Pinkie's right that they're actually from Equestria and sent here by Princess Twilight".Sunset told Twilight."Hey speaking of Princess Twilight,Did she reply you yet?".Twilight asked."Not yet".Sunset replied with a concerned look."Well should we go now?"Sunset asked."Sure,Let's go".Twilight replied.

The two girls walked home on different direction.

"Whew,Good thing Princess Twilight didn't reply yet.".Ember said sigh in relief."You're right Ember".Moonlight said."Let's go,we shouldn't stay here longer".Moonlight added.

Ember nodded and the two students walk together on their way home.
