'Canterlot Castle 15 minutes after Garon's attack on Ponyville

Smoke....

Smoke and ashes rise up in the night sky, clearly to be seen for anyone around a couple of miles,
clearly such an disaster did not get unnoticed by the rulers of this Land. In a big hall made from beautiful marble stone and the best silk banners one could hope for, bearing the symbol of the united three pony types, two regal ponies were pacing around, deciding on what to do with this situation. Ponyville was being attacked by a mysterious foe that was extremely powerful.

Luna the younger sister thought it would be best to send the royal army to defeat the intruder, since there was no word from anyone...
" Tia you must consider this, Twilight has not returned thy message. We can not rely on the elements if the foe is unknown to us and the there is no word of the bearers either!"

But the older sister Celestia didn't want any attacks of that scale "Luna I can't just send the military, not knowing exactly what happened! We have to believe in her!"
The other presence on the room, a unicorn guard, spoke up

"With all due respect princess Celestia, I would think sending the army is the better option, not knowing what happened to Twily and the others, for all we know they could be in grave danger." The unicorn turned out to be the captain of the royal guard itself, Shining Armour: Twilight's older brother. The princess of the sun had a concerned look on her face, not knowing what to make of this situation.
Before she could form an answer, she was cut off however by Shining Armour who continued.

"I could send 2 battalions right now to Ponyville, no matter what is attacking, they wouldn't stand a chance!" He said with a salute and a fire burning in his eyes. "Myself included, I want to help secure the city myself."

Princess Celestia had nothing to say against that... she had to concede that there weren't any other options

" Very well Shining Armour, Champion of Canterlot and head of the royal guards, if you say so then I allow it, but you must promise me.. no vow to me not to act foolish and sacrifice more lives than needed. UNDERSTOOD?" She asked with a serious face, and eyes that could burn through your very soul, revealing any secrets hidden beneath
" Look for Twilight and the bearers, secure Ponyville from anything hostile. If the enemy is stronger than expected, shoot a spell that creates your cutie mark in the skies, Luna and I will give you aid if you need it." She finished with a gentle tone but dire expression on her face...

"Yes your highness!" he bowed.
"Whatever did this turned the town in no longer than 10 minutes into ashes..." she paused
"Be careful, now go!" were her final words before the captain walked away out of the room to gather his forces.

He arrived within the barracks and told everypony to get ready for a fight, he told them that a new threat was attacking Equestria and they had to defeat it. The troops of course, determined to fight for their land were more than willing to face the new enemy.
A few moments later, there were over 3.000 ponies gathered on the training grounds, pegasi, unicorns and earth ponies alike were standing in formation, awaiting the order to move out.

"Huh, I guess I got more than two battalions." Shining smirked to himself, he knew his soldiers well, the best in all of Equestria, always willing to give it their all and the hearts of pure soldiers.

"Everypony! MOVE OUT, TO PONYVILLE!" He ordered with a loud and commanding voice.
The guards did as told and spread into the skies and the ground, the earth trembling with their movement and the air filled with their battlecries.
It would take them about two hours to get to Ponyville at this rate.

The streets were filled with cries of fear and pain, or both. The flames have kind of died out after about and hour or two of wildly spreading and devouring the land. Misery was written on every survivors face, there weren't a whole lot of deaths but everyone lost was a loved one.
The few ponies resisting, like those unicorns who dared to attack the enraged Garon were completely incinerated, cause they were hit the hardest. Garon was victorious without much of an effort at all. With his enormous power and incredible speed he was almost unstoppable for anyone in this world. He was sitting on a throne in the castle of Twilight Sparkle, which was also in ruins but still he was enjoying himself, the princess herself sitting beside him, chained up and glaring daggers at the powerful bastard that destroyed her hometown.

"You. Will. Pay for this.." she quietly cursed through gritted teeth, her face scrunching up in anger.

"And who is gonna make me? Hmm?" He mockingly said with a sly expression. There was just no way someone on this pathetic planet could beat him.

"Princess Celestia and Luna are going to!" She quickly barked at him. "They will punish you..." She got quieter again.
"Tsk, are they as weak as you?" Garon asked annoyed.

"That fight wasn't fair! You hit me out of the blue you damn... lets duel! I challenge you to a REAL duel you ass!" She yelled at him, practically using her Canterlot voice.

"Hmm you want to duel? Me? You're kidding right? Haha! You can't win against me I'm a Saiyan, I was born to do this!" he snickered at the puny princess trying to scare him.
"Ah well fine, don't have anything else to do..." He got up and walked out of the castle before loosening Twilight's collar with a ki blast.
"And no running away, if you do... I'll kill everyone in town including you!"

Twilight gulped hard "Got it." The air was tense and the sky was still grey from smoke and soot,
"You can go ahead and attack me, if I see a need to defend myself, I will." was all he said to the matter.

Twilight wasted no time in talking anything and directly blasted away at Garon with a few attack spells who turned out to have no effect on the warrior. After several seconds of no whatsoever effect on him she was getting nervous, she still felt that impact from before and now none of her spells worked on him. "Is that truly all you can do? I pity you little princess." Garon easily dodged all of her blasts with ease, the slow and sloppy attacks of his opponent really didn't affect him .
"Damn you!" she cried out. She had to use more power to defeat him.

She charged a more powerful spell, first it started as a small orb on her horn, but it grew and grew bigger each second, Garon was impressed
"OHO! Your power level is rising, you may not be so weak after all!" He grinned with satisfaction because of how big the tension was getting.

Twilight floated off the ground, small rubble starting to rise up around her. Garon grew a little worried, the orb was really big now, "Hmm I think I should defend myself for this one.." he got ready and jumped into the air. "ALRIGHT you have gathered a lot of power! Lets end this right now.." he charged " AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH.." the air again started to swirl and howl around him, his aura turning a deep purple. The ground beneath him started to crack, and tear open, meanwhile twilight was charging up so much that small lightnings formed around her presence. "I WILL BEAT YOU WITH THIS!" she cried out, with the royal Canterlot voice. 'Amazing, her power level is rising above 6.000!' Garon thought. "ALRIGHT THAT'S IT, DON'T YOU DARE THREATEN ME!!!" enraged that this little pathetic being was getting so close to his own power, he couldn't take that insult, he had to wipe her out. " I HAVEN'T USED MY FINAL TECHNIQUE YEEEEET!" he gathered two orange ki balls in his hands, they were crackling with lightning and full of rage. His before purple aura, completely turned a fiery orange that engulfed his whole body, making him only slightly visible. Twilight was finished growing her orb and her eyes turned white,

Garon got ready, he pulled his arms back... "DUAAAL" he raised them over his head "NOOOOVAAAA" he brought both of his arms down in one motion that alone could alone cause a cloudburst. Twilight Shot her spell in the form of a purple/pinkish beam, that was really large and seemed to have a lot of power coming from it.

"FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH" He roared with the sheer energy coming from his blast, already destroying houses, rubble and everything coming near to it.
Twilight's beam and Garon's flash collided with an explosion that could destroy mountains, shaking the earth and the skies alike.
The colliding blasts created a struggle, Twilight was barely holding out against the completely livid Saiyan.

"You... dare to stand up to me? IM A SAIYAAAAAN!! YOU SCUM! I WILL ERASE YOU AND THIS TOWN FROM EXISTENCE AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" His anger made his eyes go wide and his aura completely turn a deadly red, "DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE" He put his hands back and pushed them again against his blast, turning the colour red and made the size of the beam getting bigger and more vicious.

Twilight stood no chance at all now, she pushed against it as good as she could but her already struggling beam was pushed back and finally devoured by the newfound strength of Garon

The red flash came towards her, she quickly made a shield hoping to repel the incoming attack.
It didn't

Twilight was still flung across tow by the massive impact and shockwave created because of the hit.
It spreaded like a bomb across the land, wrecking every building that hasn't burned down or knocked down yet and leaving a humongous crater.
Garon fell slightly due to the enormous drain of power here, but he was still enraged, his current power level if you were wondering is 12.000
after catching his breath, he began to walk over to the deadly wounded Twilight. Ponyville by the way, was reduced to a pile of ashes and fire, the citizens were smart enough to run away as soon as they heard screams and lightnings though. So no more ponies died.

After minutes he spent walking through the 'once' town
There she was, laying in debris and covered with bruises, breathing only slightly on the verge of death. All He had to do now was kill her, it was so easy... so easy. Garon reached out to her, a small orb forming in his hand...

A sudden beam knocked the ball out of his hand thus interrupting his action, he looked to the side to see who did it.
The Unicorn leader named River stood there, blood running from his mouth and one of his eyes shut tight.
"You won't *cough* kill her you MONSTER!" he croaked out, staring at Garon with his one eye.

"Tsk what a nuisance." He teleported in front of the weakened pony "Have fun in hell!" he said as he kicked against his head, so hard it caused the ground to crack yet again, his head came off, spraying his blood everywhere. "Now back to-" he was just about to finish his sentence ans a horn cut him off.A horn followed by the silent clopping of hooves in the distance

"What?" Garon looked east. The dawn had already come, slowly turning the horizon orange that however was not the reason Garon was looking east for. Slowly rising over the hills was an army of ponies, the earth thundering under their steps, and in the skies hundreds of pegasi
coming to an stop midair, all of these soldiers were clad in golden armour and helmets, making them have a royal presence to them.
They split their lines for a purple unicorn to step through, he was wearing purple armour instead of the golden one, making him stand out to the rest of the group.

The purple clad unicorn stood in front of the now halting force, preparing to speak, but upon seeing the wasteland before him he silenced.
"Celestia.... what could have done this?" He stuttered out, starting to sweat. "MEN! I know the situation is unknown, the enemy is unknown, but i know one thing, that THIS.." he pointed towards the destroyed settlement " Is the work of a monster, a threat to Equestria! A threat that we will eliminate!" He finished his little speech and started to walk as suddenly "ONWARDS ROYAL GUARDS!!"

Garon, seeing this little display from afar, decided to make use of this situation and step in. He teleported in front of the moving army and turned his aura red again, making him seem more deadly. The ponies in the crowd shook with fear, looking in the saiyan's red eyes and the menacing expression on the face of the newfound enemy. "Who-who are you?" asked one of the soldiers, a black pegasus with a purple mane.

"Oh? The answer is simple, I am the new king of this pathetic planet! " He said with a flat expression on his face, it was like he was begging for one of these ponies to attack him. "I'm willing to give all of you a choice, like Ponyville down there, but you see how they decided and... you probably can see the results." He smiled with death written on his face, his red eyes emphasizing that.

"YOU DID THIS?" Shining armour stepped in front of him, glaring at him "And you dare to proclaim yourself king? WE HAVE A RIGHTFUL RULER, AND WE NEED NO KING WHO KILLS HIS SUBJECTS!" He shouted loud enough for everyone in his corps to hear.
"Surrender and you will be given a trial, if not, you stand alone against 3.000 trained men, Ponyville barely had fighters, this is an army!" He said, ending his sentence with a dark tone.

"Even so, you stand no chance, I've erased far more than a few thousand, I obliterated planets when I was still part of my people." He shot back, still with that deadly smile on his face. "And I've more than doubled my powers since then." He then was silent for a short time before he started again.
"My offer still stands though, you're the strongest pony I encountered after the princess!" He said to Shining.
"You mean Twilight?" He asked silently, hoping that the best case scenario happened.

"Yes that pony was nothing but a weakling, still impressive for her race though. She dared to challenge me to a duel, and I accepted. Long story short... she's half dead laying on the floor, barely breathing, I obliterated her. And I will do the same to you if you refuse my offer, but I'm growing IMPATIENT!" He finished by getting louder and angrier than before.

Shining shot a spell at the saiyan, who quickly deflected it to the wasteland. It created quite the explosion, big enough to wreck a house if any were standing.
"TWILIGHT IS MY SISTER AND THE PRINCESS OF FRIENDSHIP!" Shining blurted out with anger in his voice. "WE WILL NOT JOIN YOU!" That was Shining Armours last statement as he stood tensely in front of his troops. "heh-" Garon held his hand in front of his face. "WHAT?" Asked Shining. "haha hahahaha BWAAAHAHAAA!" Garon full out laughed. "Princess of hehe friendship?" He stopped to form a sentence
"That is the most ridiculous title ever!" He stopped laughing, his expression turning angry "But besides that, not only did you refuse my kind offer, NO you ambushed me! I won't let you live now!" He flared up his red aura, and formed a normal ki ball in his hands, which he launched into the troops.

The Royal Guards who were targeted weren't able to dodge and so the ball hit its target, turning the victims to dust and mauling the nearby. The impact of the attack did a good job to fling the troops that weren't affected by the full blow, at least 50 were dead, and a lot more wounded.

"Huh, this will be easy." Garon said silently to himself while turning his frown into a small grin.
He started blasting multiple of those balls at the now scattering troops, sending them flying and reducing them to ashes all the like,
screams could be heard from the soldiers who're not already killed or unconcious, missing limbs, fallen comrades, it was a massacre, they never even stood a chance. It was a bloodbath.

Shining was shocked, never did he ever witness such gore and death from his side. Speachless he croaked out a single word "RETREAT!".
He already lost half of his men. The surviving gladly did so, running away from the maniac in his black battle suit.

Shining however stayed, facing the terrifying tyrant all by himself. "Trying to get away huh?" Garon quickly made two ki orbs in his hands before throwing them so they hit each other around the area the remaining troops were fleeing to. "Ultra Eruption" Garon silently said.
The balls flew really fast, as they drew nearer to each other, they both started to form lightning chains between them and attracting one another, when they came to an collision they faded away, before expanding in an huge explosion.

Consuming every living being in the expand of a few kilometers, all except Shining Armour and a few left behind who were treating wounded, he had protected them in a giant shield bubble, after the bubble faded away Shining fired out a signal into the sky, before collapsing.
He was unconscious. A few dozen soldiers rushed to his side, Garon spoke up "Listen, you have honor so I'm giving you one last choice, JOIN ME!" He angrily pronounced.

The few remaining soldiers nodded to each other and bowed "YES MY KING!" They all said in union.

Garon just smiled to himself.

Canterlot

Princess Celestia stared outside of her window, not wanting to believe what she saw just now, the explosion that happened just a few moments ago, would be enough to destroy the whole army sent there, to make things worse the cutie mark of Shining Armour was seen above the land. Meaning the battalion sent to fight off the great evil was defeated in mere minutes. That was something she couldn’t close her eyes on.

She ran down the hallways down to her sisters chambers. She slammed the door open and said “Luna! The army was defeated! We have to go ourselves!” She sputtered out nervously. “We know Tia we heard the explosion just now!”
They ran out of the room, down the hall again and went to a door that lead up a tower.

They ran up the stairs with as much speed as they could muster.
After 1 minute or so they reached the top and stood before a massive stone door.
Celestia stepped forth “I have not opened this closet for more than a millennia, may they serve us again sister..” She put her horn inside a sizeable hole and shot some magic in it.

The heavy doors opened to reveal radiant battle armours perfectly matched for the princesses, heavy armour, leaving few weak spots.

“Tia its time we fight again...”
