Ashes and Flames

Sunset knew the voice. Celestia warned her this time would come.

Actually, it was one of the reasons she left. Not only was she in thurst for power but a little of her thought everyone would be safe in a world with no magic so she wouldn't fulfill it.

And then the whole, "steal crown." and "raging she-demon." came up and now magic won't LEAVE this world!

And the voice came.

2 weeks later:

Sunset was running, to where? She didn't know. Who was following her? She didn't really know that as well. All she knew was that she had to get away.

There was a trio of girls that showed up, and had that same lust for power Sunset had before as well.

A problematic situation if i do say so myself. Sunset groand. This was the last thing she needed.

Yes, very much so. But you can bully me later. Sunset yelled at the voice.

Hmmm... Nope I'll bother you now. You seem very friendly with those Sirens if i must tell you. The voice said.

Sunset turned around. It was the Dazzling's that had chased her for god knows how long.

But she had realized she lost them. She sighed and went back to school.

Back at school:

Sunset had sat down in the cafeteria and started to eat when she clutched her head in pain.

She was back in the fiery hell. A flaming Phoenix was before her. "Why must you deny me?" it asked. Sunset only stayed quiet.

"You had a thirst for power before... What happened?" it asked.

"I'm in a much better place now!" Sunset snapped.

"Yes you have "Friendship" I've heard. But you don't need them. You can have all the power in the world."

"By killing people and giving them fear? yea no thanks." Sunset said.

"The choice isn't yours darling. It will happen."

"Sunset..."

Sunset heard a voice. But she didn't know who's it was. She was still in shock of what the voice said.

"SUNSET SHIMMER!!"

Sunset heard a banshee scream and was shaken awake.

"Wha--" Sunset stuttered as she shot up.

"You fell asleep darling." Rarity said as she pointed at the flattened sand witch which served a pillow for Sunset's face.

The others sat down.

"The choice isn't mine?" She mumbled.

"What?" Rarity asked.

"Nothing!" Sunset said quickly.

The others nodded and went back to eating.

Sunset couldn't help but wonder what he meant.
