Makeup funtime

"Let's get this party started!" Pinkie said with excitement.

"Okay, so where do we start?" Sonata asked, "A movie? games? Snacks?"

"Let's start with the makeup!" Pinkie gathered the cosmetics and makeup tools.

"So, Are we gonna do our own?"

"No silly It's more fun when we do each other's." Sonata nodded and they both sat down in the middle of the room with the cosmetics nearby. "You know what's really fun about makeup?"

"What?" Sonata asked with a raised eyebrow.

"They're almost just like face paint"

"How's that?"

"I'll show you! Close your eyes and hold still."

"Okay," Sonata closed her eyes and let Pinkie do whatever she was gonna do. Pinkie grabbed some aquatic colored cosmetics and some tools plus a special head net that can go over your face and got to work (A/N: I know the name of that net but I'm not gonna type it in because it might give away what Pinkie is doing). She started by putting the net on her head. "Wait what did you put on my head?"

"Don't worry just hold still," She grabbed some blue and turquoise face makeup and a concealer brush then brushed the makeup on the sides of Sonata's forehead, around the outside of her eyes, and on her cheeks, all while making sure the two colors blend well. Pinkie then took off the net and grabbed some turquoise eyeshadow and applied it on Sonata's eyelids. Finally, Pinkie grabbed a blue lipstick and applied it on her lips, "Ok, done."

Sonata opened her eyes, "How do I look?"

"See for yourself," Pinkie said as she held up a mirror for Sonata to see her reflection. She was quite surprised at hat she saw. In the mirror, she saw that she look like a mermaid.

"Wow, this looks so cool!"

"Thanks, I might not be as good as Rarity but I got a few good tips from her. Anyways, It's your turn!"

Sonata got nervous, "Um, well, I don't think it will be as good as your's."

"Don't worry, the author is not really good at writing detail into these stories anyway."

"What?"

"What?" There were a few seconds of awkward silence until Sonata broke it.

"Well, I guess I could try."

"Great!" Pinkie closed her eyes and waited for Sonata, "Ready when you are!"

"Ok," she took a moment to think of what to do and only one thought came to her mind. She grabbed a black liner and applied it to Pinkie's top lip and the bottom part of her nose, but as she was applying it to her nose, it caused her to sneeze. "AH-CHOO!"

"Sorry."

"That's ok, continue." Once she finished with the nose, she drew a line connecting the two. After that, she drew a few whiskers on each of her cheeks, then she applied on her mascara on her eyelashes. However, she couldn't think of anything else to do.

"OK, I'm done I guess." Sonata held up the mirror as Pinkie open her eye to see what she did. What she saw in the mirror is that she was a cat. Sonata was worried that Pinkie wouldn't like it, but then she started to giggle which turned to laughter.

"I'm a kitty cat," Pinkie laughed.

"You don't hate it?"

"No, this is pretty good."

"Thanks," even though it was just a compliment, it made her feel a little warm inside.

"Y'know Sonata," Pinkie said with a devious smile.

"What?" Sonata asked a bit nervous about her smile.

"Cats do like to eat fishes," Pinkie then started to get closer to Sonata as she moved back a little.

"P-pinkie, what are you doing?" But Pinkie didn't answer. Instead, she pounced Sonata and the next thing you know, She started assaulting her with tickles and Sonata burst out laughing. "Aaahhhhahahahahahah! Pinkie Pleasehehehehhehe! Stohahahahahah!" But Pinkie didn't listen, she just kept on tickling as Sonata kept trying to escap. This went on for about five minutes until Pinkie finally decided to stop and let Sonata breath again.

"Well, that was fun."

"Yeah ... it was," Sonata said still catching her breath, "Hey, you wanna do some other makeup styles."

Pinkie then gained a gleaming smile, "Sure! hang on I'll get a camera." Once she found one, they did different makeup style and taking pictures while doing poses that could relate to the style. When they decided they took enough pictures, they removed the makeup from their faces.

"That was the most fun I had in a long time," Sonata said when she finished removing her makeup.

"Well, the night is still young and we have some other activities to do. What do you wanna do next?"
