Burning Darkness

Twilight and her friends were prepared with the Elements of Harmony and charging towards the Canterlot castle. As they galloped through the city, they were horrified at the sight, buildings destroyed, dead bodies, their ears were filled with the sound of screams of the citizens. "I do sure hope the Princesses are ok", Apple Jack said in worry,

" Don't worry AJ, it's two against one, I bet they already beat that freak, and all this trouble to get the elements was for nothing, right Twilight", Rainbow Dash said, waiting for Twilight. Everyone was waiting for a response, but none came, Twilight's mind was filled with too many thoughts, she wanted to believe that the Princesses were ok, but at the same time she was terrified at the thought of what Ozore did to them. Well that question would soon be answered. As they went through the castle, the scenery in it was even more horrifying than out side.  Blood was every where, dozens of soldiers were massacred, many disemboweled, sliced in half, decapitated, one was even reduced to nothing but a skeleton. But then there was the throne room, and they were not prepared for what was inside. When they opened the door to the throne room, they screamed in terror,

"PRINCESSES", the mane six screamed. Celestia and Luna were lying on the ground, motionless, there was gashes, slashes, and bruises, their armor destroyed, they even noticed a crack on Lunas horn. But the thing that was most disturbing, was their wings, they weren't on their backs, all that was left were bloody bone stumps. Then there was a laugh, and when they looked to see who made that sound, they saw him. Ozore was siting on Celestia's throne, with a sinister smile on his face, and mounted above him, stained in blood, were the Princesses' wings.

" Well, Well, Well, look what we have here, Princess Twilight Sparkle, well I hope you and your friends can prove to be a better challenge than these two", Ozore chuckled as he looked down at Celestia and Luna.

" I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO THE PRINCESSES", Rainbow Dash yelled.

" Dash, NO", Twilight screamed. But it was too late, Dash had already dashed towards Ozore, but was suddenly stopped in her place by some magic. And then he used his magic and slammed Dash into a pillar, making Dash scream in pain. The rest of the girls gathered around her with horrified looks.

"ohmygoshdashieareyouokyoulooklikeyourinsomuchpain", Pinkie Pie said, frantically.

" My wing...I think it's broken", the girls gasp in shock, and looked at Ozore with pure anger.

" I must say she is quiet the feisty one, I've always found those the most...attractive", Ozore said, followed by his long serpent tongue licking round his lips.

"Ugh, you disgusting, revolting, creature", Rarity said in disgust, she was about to say more until she was cut off by Ozore's insane laughter.

" You can say as many compliments as you wish, it won't make me show mercy". Rarity was completely speechless, and didn't know how to respond.

" That's enough", Twilight said, " We will no longer be intimidated by you, girls get the elements ready". The other girls nodded and got into position.

" Oh this should be fun", Ozore said along with a chuckle.

" This ends now Ozore, say goodbye", Twilight said. With no more words left, the elements glowed, and shot that rainbow laser straight at Ozore, then there was a huge explosion. There was scilence, until Twilight spoke, " I think we got him", that victory was short lived, when they heard that same evil laugh. When the smoke cleared, the girls saw Ozore standing in the same position when they shot the laser, unscathed. Then a small ball of dark magic formed from his horn.

" Goodbye" , Ozore said before launching the magic straight at the girls. After the smoked cleared Ozore noticed that none of the girls were injured mostly because there was a figure standing in front of the girls. A certain draconequus named Discord seemed to have taken the blast  to protect the girls. He looked badly injured and on the verge of death.

" Di...Discord", Twilight said in shock.

" D...Don't...think...I..did this for you...I did it...for Fluttershy". Discord slowly looked back and smiled at Fluttershy who was in total shock at what she saw, " T...Take care...my friend", Discord then collapsed to the ground, dead.

" DISCORD", Fluttershy screamed, she then went over to Discord's body and started crying.

" Oh what a pity, I was hoping to have more fun with this one, but after this, I'm convinced it would have been disappointing", Ozore said with a scoff. It was quiet for a moment because of the shock the girls were in after seeing Discord be taken down.

Twilight then spoke," What do you want".

" I'm sorry what", Ozore said in confusion.

" What will it take for you to leave Equestria alone", Ozore gave a moment of thought, then spoke.

" Oh I have an idea". Ozore then turned around and with some magic, created a hologram of himself, this hologram was sent to every town and city of Equestria. " Ladies and Gentlecolts, I am Ozore, your new ruler, the princesses have fallen, the elements have failed, and the lord of chaos himself has been disposed of, so now that they're out of the way, I can begin my plan. I will turn Equestria into my own Apocalyptic playground, turning everyone of you into slaves, and using said slaves to fight in destructive wars, and I will get violent to reach my goal. However, I am very generous, if you wish to free yourselves of my rule, I will be hosting a...competition of sorts. This competition involves anyone who is willing to challenge me in one on one combat, the goal...is to kill me. Anyone is allowed to compete, but if you lose, I have the right to kill you as well. One more thing, there's a time limit, if no one is able to kill me in one year, the competition is over, and I will begin my full conquest. So you best give your A-game, and to all those who will not be participating, stay loyal, and I might show some mercy, key word might. Farewell my worthless maggots". Everyone all over Equestria, was dead silent, no one could fathom what was going to happen to them. Until somepony from Manehattan shouted.
