Burning Darkness

Ozore was lying there on the ground, sliced clean in half, a bunch blood pouring out the open wound. However he was still alive, but he was screaming at the top of his lungs from all the pain, and he was coughing up more blood then a blood bank can count. Ozore's adrenaline kept him from relizing his ingury, so he tried getting himself up, but to no avail. Flare just chuckled at Ozore's struggle.

" Give up already Ozore, you lost", Flare said with a smirk. Ozore then started struggling to speak, but managed to yell something out.

" YOU THINK THIS IS OVER", Ozore yelled, then Ozore began yelling in pain, and in a couple of seconds Ozore regrew his lower half, putting that much effort to regrow his lower half put even more pain on Ozore, he let out a loud scream, and started to regain his breath. Ozore then stood back up and gave Flare a look of pure anger, but then Ozore grinned and chuckled. " Very impressive boy, you know through out this entire fight, I never caught your name", Ozore said.

" The name's Flare", Flare said.

" Well Flare, I want to congratulate you, no one and I can't stress this enough, no one has ever pushed me this far, so I tip my hat to you, well...if I had a hat that is". Ozore said, Flare gave a noticeable smirk, but Ozore's tone turned serious really fast. " However, you do realize that I can't let you live right", Ozore asked.

" Oh I know, but in case you didn't know, a couple seconds ago you were sliced in two, so I don't think you're going to be anything more than a nuisance", Flare said still retaining his smirk. Ozore started laughing.

" Oh but see Flare, once I show off my true power, I'll be much more than a nuisance", Ozore said. The proud smirk that was on Flare's smug face faded away, what did Ozore mean by show off his true power.

" W-What", Flare asked. Ozore chuckled.

" Do you know what this it", Ozore asked, he then tapped on the weird orb that was sticking out of his chest. Flare didn't say anything, which made Ozore chuckle even more. " Of course you don't know, it's funny, the whole time I was here in Equestria, no one had ever asked me what this thing was on my chest, well I think you should be the first one to know. You see, if I break this particular item, my true power will be released, and I will become your worst nightmare, think of it as a limit breaker if you will", Ozore said.

" I-I don't understand", Flare said his fear rising high.

" Well, then maybe you need a visual to know what I'm talking about", Ozore said. Ozore then used his magic to grab onto the orb, he twisted it and some blood trickled down his chest, and with a loud yell of pain, he pulled the orb out of his chest, a bunch of blood spilled out of the hole that was revealed after the orb was pulled out. Ozore then laughed maliciously and smashed the orb onto the ground, then amidst the glass, dark energy erupted from the ground a engulfed Ozore. Ozore was going through some sort of transformation while coted in this energy, and during the whole thing, Ozore was laughing, but at the same time, Flare heard a hint of pain coming from Ozore. Then the same darkness that was surrounding Ozore created a large explosion that leveled the entire plain that they were on. Fortunately for Flare, he created a shield that blocked the blast from hitting him. When the smoked cleared, Flare turned pale as he saw the figure standing in front of him. It was Ozore, but with some new noticeable features, first off Ozore's dark grey turned a light grey, dark veins were bulging on numerous parts of the body, Ozore's teeth looked even more rotten then before, the hole that was left from the orb being removed was replaced by a large scar, and the membrane that was on the wings looked like they were torn apart. Ozore's pitch black eyes turned plain white, you couldn't even see the pupils, but the most noticeable thing were the thorns or spikes that were sticking out all over the body, legs, and head.

" What-what are you", Flare asked more scared than before.

" I'm a Devil", Ozore said, with his voice sounding...psychotic. Flare then rushed towards Ozore and started giving out punches and kicks, but they didn't seem to be doing anything. Ozore then chuckled,and then he reached out his right hoof and a spike grew out of it, he gave a quick slash and made a serious cut across Flare's left eye. Flare let out a loud scream of pain, but Ozore wasn't done, he grew another spike out of his left hoof. Ozore let out a barrage of slashes at Flare, dozens of cuts and slashes surrounded Flare's body. Ozore used his backflip to send Flare up into the air, Flare didn't have enough time to regain himself, because Ozore quickly flew behind Flare and kicked him hard back to the ground. Flare struggled to get back up. Ozore then laughed. " And now you die", Ozore said, Ozore then used his magic and ripped off a spike that was on his back. He aimed the sharp end straight at Flare and launched it. Flare looked behind him and tried to counter what was about to hit him, but it was to late. The spike impaled Flare right below the rib cage and pinned Flare to the ground. Flare let out a painful scream, he tried to pull the spike out but it was no use.

Ozore then let out the most malicious laugh he had ever let out, " You should feel honored Flare, like I said before no one has ever pushed me to use this form", Ozore said. Flare at this point could only cough up blood, Ozore then sighed, " It's a shame though, I really had an entertaining day with you, but sadly every fun day has to come to a close, but don't worry, I'll remember this day from here on out", Ozore then laughed, " Kaboom" , Ozore said. Then the spike that was in Flare started to glow a dark purple, Flare was fighting with every thing he had to remove the spike, but he was too weak to move it. Then the spike glowed even brighter, and then it exploded point blank at Flare. This explosion was larger then the one when Ozore finished transforming. Flare was too weak to even let out a scream, he just let the pain engulf him as the explosion did so as well. Then Flare's vision turned blurry, finally...his eyes closed on their own.
