It was a usual morning inside Crystal Prep. Indigo Zap, Lemon Zest, Sunny Flare, Sugarcoat, and Soursweet were sitting on the same table in the cafeteria.

"So,what are we gonna do?" Indigo Zap asked the girls.

"How should I know? I was shocked as well when Principal Cinch made us to represent CPA in the Battle of the Bands." Sunny Flare replied.

"Well that's wonderful." Soursweet said in her good side. "If she'd expect us to win just like that." She said in her sour side.

"Not only that,Mainville High's representative for the event is called 'Nocturnes'." Sugarcoat said.

"So,what's the problem with that dude?" Lemon Zest asked after she took off her headphones.

"Problem is,I found out that Nocturnes is the most talented band in the city." Sugarcoat replied.Everyone was shocked at the discovery.

"Not only that I even found out that Twilight's new friends in CHS is in a band called the 'Rainbooms'." Sugarcoat added when she put a school newspaper from CHS in the table.They read the paper and was shocked again.But this time,their jaw dropped.There was an awkward silence for the next minute.Then Indigo broke the silence.

"Let me get this straight,Not only were against a talented band in Mainville High,But with CHS as well?!?"

"Yes." Sugarcoat replied

"Were against two talented band and we don't even know where to start on to make a band." Sunny Flare said.Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Well that's wonderful!" Soursweet said in a good side. "If we wanna lose before we even started." Soursweet added with her sour side.

"We have to figure out on how to start a band fast.Any ideas?" Indigo asked.They think on how,not until they exchanged glances and stared at Lemon Zest.

"What?" She asked.Until then they started grinning.

"Lemon Zest,How would you like to help us in our little problem here?" Sugarcoat asked.

"Don't tell me you dudes want my help with all the band stuff." She said. "Are you?" She added.Everyone nodded in agreement.She sighed and said. "Fine,I'll help you."

"Awesome!" Indigo shouted.

"We should find a room where we can do with our band stuff." Sunny said.Everyone nodded in agreement.

"How about the music room? I mean nobody usually go there." Lemon Zest replied.

"Wait,we have a music room?" Sunny asked.Lemon nodded in agreement.

"Well what are waiting for let's go." Indigo said.They all walked towards the music room.

Meanwhile in the Principal office,Dean Cadance and Principal Cinch were having a conversation.

"Wait Principal Cinch,your resigning? Cadance was shocked of what Cinch said.

"After the Battle of the Bands,I will be resigning my position as Principal and put you as the next Principal." Cinch said while rubbing her glasses with a cloth.

"Since the Friendship Games,the students of Crystal Prep have been...infected by what they called 'friendship' of CHS.So as the reputation of the school." She added.

"Wow talk about lonely,I think there will be a lot of changes around here when she resigns." Cadance thought to herself. "I would be honoured to be Principal of CPA." She said.

"Excellent,I hope you will not regret my decision." Cinch said.

"You won't be disappointed." Cadance replied with a smile.

Back with the girls,they're inside the music room and started setting up the things they need to start a band.

"Okay,we got the drum kit at the back,where I'll be using." Indigo Zap said.

"I'm on turntables,dude." Lemon Zest said.

"I'll be on electric piano then." Sugarcoat said.

"Me and Soursweet are guitars." Sunny Flare said.Soursweet nodded in agreement.

"Now we got our instruments,find a place to practice and a place to set this all up." Indigo exclaimed.

"The only thing we need now is a song to practice and play on the Battle of the Bands." Sugarcoat said.

Everyone started thinking on what song will they play on the competition.

"I got nothing." Indigo said.

"Me neither." Sugarcoat replied.

"Me too" Sunny said.

"Me three dude." Lemon said.

"This is great." Soursweet said. "We don't even know what song will we play!" She shouted angrily.

Then suddenly, Lemon zest snapped her finger getting everyone's attention.

"I know a song." She said.Then she search her backpack for the song. Everyone was confused at first until she's holding a music disc. She then put it in her small music DVD player. Everyone listened to the song.

When the song ended, Indigo Zap had an idea.

"What if we play that song on the Battle of the Bands?" She asked.

"We might need to practice a lot but I'm in." Sunny replied with a smile.

"Me too." Soursweet replied as well.

"Same here,dude." Lemon replied.

"With no other possibilities,why not?" Sugarcoat replied in agreement.

"Then its settled,we will practice and play this song on the competition." Indigo announced.

"YEAH!!!" Everyone cheered.

As they practice little by little,they're getting the hang of playing their instruments.

After they finished,they heard a grumble near them.

"Umm...who was that?" Sunny asked.Her question was answered when all of grumbled.

"We should find something to eat. I'm starving" Indigo said while her stomach lays another grumbling sound.

"Me too." Sunny said. Everyone nodded at the idea.

"Where should we go?" Soursweet asked.

"Let's try Sugarcube Corner. I heard they have the best food there." Lemon replied. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"We what are we waiting for? Let's go." Indigo said.

"Fine with me." Sugarcoat said.

Then everyone walked out of the school and walked towards Sugarcube Corner.
