It all started when our school was still in construction, my sister and I were walking in the park. When she get some ice cream for the two of us, I sit and wait patiently in the bench near where I was standing. That's where I first saw Lunar Hearts, she was sitting on the next bench near me. She smiled at me saw me looking at her. I just sat there and waited for my sister when suddenly, Lunar made her way and sit beside me.

"Hi there, you must be new here. My name's Lunar Hearts and you are?" She introduced herself and asked my name. Which I introduced myself.

"Name's Moonlight Sparks." I said.

"Moonlight Sparks huh?" She said. "Oh wait... Don't tell me your the writer of CHS school papers are you?" She asked. I was shocked of her question but I nodded in agreement.

"You never said you were meeting a girl, I should have bought three instead of two." My sister butted in on our conversation. Both of us blushed a little when she said that statement.

"Do you really have to step in on the wrong time?" I asked her.

"Nope, I just do that to tease you, silly." She replied with a grin. I just shook my head and smile. Then I look at Lunar and apologized.

"Sorry about that." I said while rubbing the back of my neck and smiling sheepishly.

"That's ok, I know how little sister's do." She replied while letting a chuckle. Speaking of little sisters, that's the same time I met Sunshine when she was walking towards the benche me and Lunar were sitting.

"Come on sis, we better go or we're late again." She said as she rushes towards the entrance of the park.

"Well I better go. Nice meeting you Sparks, hope we can meet again." She said with a smile before running to her sister.

I sighed and said to Ember.

"You remember the time when when we were little, you don't want to be late at school every time?" I asked. She smiled and said.

"Yup, and that time that you first learned how to fly, you got overexcited and crashed on a tree." She said giggling. I chuckled a little.

"Yup and it still hurts for the whole month." I replied. She nodded and said.

We should go back and see how's the construction going." She said.

"Ok." I replied. After that we walked our way towards the school before heading home.

The next day was a little different. Ember stayed at home and I walked in the park on the same time me, Lunar, and Sunshine met. But this time, it's not just. When I was waiting on them, I saw them with Quickfade, Shadow, and Night, who appeared to be a cowboy, I'm guessing that he was from Appleoosa.

"Hey Sparks great timing. I have some people I'd like you to meet." Lunar said with a small smile.

"This is my sister, Sunshine." She introduced.

"Nice to meet you sir." Sunshine greeted with a smile

"Nice to meet you too." I greeted back with a smile of my own.

"This is Quickfade, he's very athletic but a little bit clumsy." She introduced Quickfade.

"Sup, dude." He greeted.

"Sup." I greeted.

"This here is Shadow Seer, he not the most talkative kind of guy but he's very skilled using an instrument." She introduced Shadow. He didn't say anything but nodded in greeting me. I nodded in greeting him as well.

"And this here is Night Shade, his actually a cowboy from Appleoosa." She introduced Night.

'Nailed it'. My thoughts were correct, he was actually from Appleoosa.

"Nice to meet ya'h, partner. Pleasure being your acquaintance." He said when he put his hands on front waiting to a hand shake.

"Likewise." I said before grabbing his hand for a hand shake. After the hand shake, he tilted his stetson downwards before straightening it.

"Where's your sister by the way? I wanted her to meet the rest of the group." She asked.

"She back at home. She's kinda not in the mood for a walk in the park." I replied with a small smile. She smiled back.

"Well, do you have plans today?" She asked. I shook my head.

"I was wondering if you want to hang out with us for a little while." She said.

"Sure, I have no plans for today." I replied.

"Great, now come on. We're about to go to the movies." She said when they walked towards the entrance. I followed them.

'This is a very interesting group, maybe I should befriend them to learn more about this world and what they do.' I thought when I was following them.

It was almost sunset, I parted ways with the group to go back home.

"I'm back." I said when I heard water dripping inside the kitchen, there I saw Ember walking out of the kitchen.

"You're taking your time." She said with a wink. I was confused at first then I realized what she was talking about.

"Oh no no no no... You've got it all wrong." I panickly replied the misunderstanding.

"I was just kidding." She said then she giggled. I rolled my eyes and said.

"It's almost night time, time to do some work. Be right back." I said before leaving the house.

All of us did everything together. Ember met the group, we watched movies together, sometimes having slumber parties, play music like a band. We even called ourselves the 'Nocturnes'. That's when we were known as the most talented band in the city. Everything was going great. Until Lunar and Sunshine's parents transferred to Manehattan. Night Shade's having a family reunion back in Appleoosa. Quickfade's parent are on vacation with Quickfade joining them. And Shadow disappeared leaving a note saying he has something g important to do. I didn't take strolls on the park and mostly stayed indoor and sometimes help in the school decorating.

We never saw each other ever since that day. Until today that is. I was surprise to see the whole group back together in the same school. And everything was going great again until this moment.

"Well that's our history together right guys?" Moonlight asked which everyone nodded.

"Wow, so you guys have been friends for a long time." Fluttershy said softly.

"That's right." Quickfade replied.

"Ah' can't believe that another cowboy from Appleoosa is here. Nice to meet ya'." Applejack said and greeted Night Shade.

"Likewise." He said.

When they were all getting to know each other, Ember Blaze entered the shop and was surprised to see both CHS and Crystal Prep in the same table with her group.

"Hey guys, what did I miss?" She greeted to the others. Getting a lot of hi's.

"Nothing much, but I want you guys to meet my sister, Ember Blaze." Moonlight announced.

"Hello there, darling. My names Rarity." Rarity introduced herself.

"Ah'm Applejack." AJ introduced herself as well.

"The name's Rainbow Dash." RD introduced herself.

"I'm Fluttershy. It's nice to meet you." Fluttershy softly introduced herself.

"My name's Twilight Sparkle." Twilight introduced herself as well.

"And I'm Sunset Shimmer." Sunset introduced herself.

"My name's Indigo Zap." Indigo said.

"Mine's Sugarcoat." Sugarcoat said.

"My name's Lemon Zest, dude." Lemon said.

"I'm Sunny Flare." She said.

"And I'm Soursweet nice to meet you." Soursweet said in her sweet voice. "Not really." She added in a sour voice.

"It's nice to meet you all too." She said.

When they were talking, Sunset felt a strange feeling that she lost before she had the necklace. She felt two kinds of magic from Moonlight and Ember. From Ember, she felt light and harmony. While from Moonlight, she felt chaos and disharmony with a little bit of light inside him. This discovery made Sunset suspicious.

"Twilight, we need to talk." Sunset whispered in the ear of Twilight.

"Sure." She agreed.

"Can you give me and Twilight a sec?" She asked which they nodded. Sunset and Twilight both stepped out of the shop and Sunset first spoke.

"We have a problem." She said. Twilight was confused of what she said.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"I mean, there's something strange about them. Like I have a feeling that they don't really belong to this world." She replied.

"To tell you truth, from the moment we all met. I can feel a strange kind of magic inside Moonlight. Something chaotic inside him." Twilight said.

"I know, and her sister Ember has magic full of light and harmony." Sunset added. Which Twilight nodded in agreement.

"We should tell the others about this." Twilight suggested.

"No, not yet. We have to get some kind of proof that they really are from Equestria." Sunset shook her head and said.

"I think we should tell Princess Twilight about this first. She may know about this." Sunset added which Twilight nodded in agreement.

"Good idea, maybe we should go to their school and find out more about it. Just like I once did before you spotted me and trying to talk to me for the first time." Twilight said with a giggle. Which made Sunset giggled as well.

"If my hunch is correct, and if they're from Equestria. We should find their portal." Sunset suggested which Twilight nodded in agreement.

After their conversation. They walked back inside and returned to the group.

"What you guys been talking about?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Nothing personal." Sunset said.

Lunch is almost over, the group parted ways back to their school.

Once the group reach CHS, Sunset and Twilight stopped in the stairs of the entrance.

"You guys coming or what?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"We'll catch up." Sunset replied. Rainbow Dash giving a thumbs up and walk back inside.

Sunset opened her bag and took out the book that she use to send messages to Princess Twilight.

Dear Twilight,

Today we met a group of friends that were attending on the new school. But your counterpart Twilight and I felt equestrian magic in these two siblings. Let me know if you know the name Moonlight Sparks and Ember Blaze. There's something suspicious about those two.

Your Friend,

Sunset Shimmer.

"Done." Sunset said after writing the message.

"Let's go back to the others and practice later for the second round tomorrow." She added. Which Twilight nodded.

"Well that proves Sugarcoat's words. They really are the talented band." Lemon Zest.

"Still, let's do our best to win in the competition." Indigo said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"After class, we should meet up in the music room to practice some more." Sugarcoat suggested.

"Sure." Sunny Flare agreed.

"Alright." Soursweet agreed as well.

They all parted ways towards their class.

Inside Moonlight's van, the friends were all having a fun. While Moonlight was driving and Lunar was reading a book, Sunshine and Ember having a conversation. So as Night Shade and Quickfade. While Shadow was in his lonesome reading what appeared to be a comic book.

"Hey guys, what if this weekend we send them a letter to meet us in our school and maybe do a little Battle of the Bands for fun?" Moonlight asked.

"Sure, that's a start to get to know them better." Lunar replied after closing her book.

"Ah' don't mind, Ah' just have to do some errands before I could go though, How about we meet at noon?" Night asked.

"Sure." Moonlight replied.

"I think that's a great idea bro." Ember agreed.

"I think so too." Sunshine agreed with a small smile.

"I'm in." Quickfade agreed as well

"Same here." Shadow agreed after he closed his comic book.

"Then it's settled. Tomorrow I'll send them a letter and put them inside their music room." Moonlight said. Which everyone nodded.

After their quick ride back to school, they parted ways towards their classes while Ember and Moonlight headed towards Principals office. Ember knocked and they heard rumbling sounds inside before Discord opened the door. Both of them was shocked at what they saw.

"Well, what do you think?" Discord said with huge grin in his face.

"What in Celestia's name did you do?" Ember shouted. They saw gingerbread shelves with books made of gingerbread. His table is made of gingerbread as well. Pens and pencils turned into lollipops and candy canes. The whole room was in chaos. Then suddenly, it all returned to normal. Discord was shocked that his creations returned back to normal.

"What happened?" He asked puzzled at what happened. Then he saw Moonlight smiling.

"What are you smiling at?" He asked.

"Looks like your not the only one who can use magic around here." Moonlight replied with a grin. He snapped his fingers and a cup of chocolate milk appeared floating. He grabbed the cup and drank the chocolate milk. Then he snapped his fingers again to find the empty cup gone. This shocked Discord and Ember.

"How did you do that?" Discord asked in disbelief.

"Simple, I just snap my fingers and..." He replied by snapping his fi gets again and this time, a ball appeared on his other hand.

"There you go." He added. Discord was still shocked.

"Wait, if you two can use magic. Why can't I?" Ember asked still confused. Then suddenly the ball was covered in an orange aura then levitated in her hands. She was shocked at what happened.

"Problem solved." Moonlight said with a smile.

"But now that we know we can use our magic. We should keep them to ourselves. Don't draw any attention, I'm watching you Discord." Moonlight added.

"Fine. I won't do magic in public. Althought, I could use my magic as a magician. That way they'll think it's just a couple of party tricks." Discord protested. Getting stares from both Moonlight and Ember.

"Fine, I won't use it on public." He said in defeat.

"Good." Both of them said in unison.

"I'll see you guys later. I have some papers to write and a journal to read." Moonlight said before leaving Ember and Discord.

"I'll see you later Discord, don't wreck the office while I'm gone, okay?" Ember said. She left Discord in his office.

"Fine, fine. I'll just do this paperwork I guess and go back." He said with a frown. He sighed and started on the paperwork.

Chapter 7 is done. Now that they know how to use their magic. Things are going to get extraordinary. Will Sunset and Twilight find out the truth? The story is just beginning.
