After school, the Shadowbolts meet up inside the music room of Crystal Prep as they began their practice for the Battle of the Bands. Indigo Zap has a worried look on her face and didn't come unnoticed.

"What's wrong, Zap?" Lemon Zest asked.

"We need to think of another song." Indigo Zap said.

"What do you mean? Our song of choice was good." Sunny Flare asked.

"Because, someone just used our song." Indigo answered.

"What!?" The girls except for Sugarcoat asked in shock as they look at her.

"She's right. Some band from CHS used our song for their qualifier." Sugarcoat said flatly.

"What are we supposed to do now? That's the only song we were practicing this whole time." Indigo asked them.

"Oh, great." Soursweet said sarcastically. "Now we have to look for another song." She added with a sour tone.

They were brainstorming for ideas. Then Lemon Zest came up with an idea of a song.

Lemon Zest turned on her laptop and found the song she was looking for.

They were amazed by the music as they turned to Lemon, who was grinning at them.

"That was amazing. It was even better than the last time." Sunny Flare said.

"That...was awesome." Indigo said excitedly.

"Cool." Soursweet exclaimed, but cleared her throat. "I mean, it's nice." He said flatly.

"Judging from just been released, this could be a perfect song to use." Sugarcoat stated.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's practice right away. I'll be the DJ." Lemon Zest said as she goes behind the DJ table.

"You know, I'm not really used on being the drummer. I'm kinda good with a guitar actually." Indigo said.

"Fine, I'll be the drummer." Soursweet said. "I'm not really good with a guitar as well to be honest." She added.

Soursweet manned the drums as Indigo and Sunny flare picked up their guitars while Sugarcoat walk behind the electric piano and they started practicing.

As they were done, they packed their things and walk out of the room and towards the exit. As they left the building.

"We sound awesome!" Indigo Zap boasted as they walk out.

"Totally, we should do this more often." Lemon Zest suggested.

"But first, we should focus on winning the battle of the bands." Sugarcoat reminded them.

"I don't mind playing with you guys more often, it kinda felt good." Sunny Flare said calmly.

"Me too." Indigo agreed.

"Me three." Sugarcoat agreed as well.

"Me four." They looked at Soursweet. "What? Is it bad?" She asked in confusion.

Then the group burst into laughter as they smiled at each other.

"Well, we should all go home." Sugarcoat suggested, which everyone nodded in agreement.

They waved goodbye as the went home for the day. Unknown to them, Principal Cinch was listening until they left the building.

'This wouldn't be so bad, after all. Crystal Prep will surely win this.' She thought as a grin appeared on her face as she left.
