The True child of the Night

Prequel: The First Dream

Deep in PonyVille, at the recently made castle, slept a Violet Alicorn and her purple and green ,assistant, dragon. The dragon slept peacefully with his Rarity plush in his hands, but while the baby dragon slept beside him was the Princess of friendship sweating through her violet coat as she tossed and turned.

She watched two shadowy figures stand above her, making her feel like a filly, looked at her intently. The only thing she saw was the eyes of the two ponies above her. One had teal cat-like eyes, whe the other had red eyes with green surrounding the rest of the eyes as a purple mist came out of them. Both eyes looked very familiar to her but she didn't remember why. The one with the cat-like eyes turned her head to the other figure "Are you sure that we shou do this?" The voice was a soft, yet rough, mareat the same time, It made Twilight think of someone but she didn't know who. The other figure took a short glance at the mare beside him before looking back at 'Twilight'

"It would be dangerous not to, Who knows what you're pesky sister might do, if she found out" The others voice was of a stallion which sounded rough and dark, yet a bit soft. The shadowy mare rolled her eyes "Well, If she did know, The. She would have been tried to get rid of her."  The stallion looked at the shadowy figure and said, frustrated, "How do you know that?" "Because," she paused a bit as if she was finding the right words, "She's.... Her. And I AM her sister after all. So of course I know what she would do." The stallion looked at her as his eyes soften a bit.

"Then tell me... What would she do if she found out."  The mare he was looking at looked down and turned her gaze to 'Twilight' "I... I don't what to say." Her eyes was filled with sadness which quicker into a look of determination and said, as she turned to the stallion, "But, I don't want it to happen. Let's do it." Then the stallion bared a fanged smile as his head nodded, "Of course, My queen." It looked like that they were going to do something but then bit by bit they disappeared as a voice boomed out in the distance 'Wake up!' It called out the voice got closer and 'Twilight, WA-'

"-KE UP! Twilight!" Spike boomed out waking up from her slumber. Twilight jumped awake,like she was a kid sleeping in class, she yelled "I'M UP!!" Before yelping as she fell out of her bed. "Twilight! Are you okay?!"'Spike sprinted over to the Alicorn seeing if she was hurt. She slowly got up rubbing her head with her hoof. With a groan she said,"Y-yea, I'm okay." Spike looked at her concerned "You sure?" He asked.

"Yea. I'm fine, Spike, Really." He still looked unimpressed, but said "If you say so." Twilight looked at him and asked, "So...what happened, Spike."  Spike looked at her "What do you mean?" Twilight pointed to the window with her hoof. "Spike, the moon's still out." Spike looked outside and said, sheepishly, "Oh, Yea." Twilight sighed at her number 1 assistant and chuckled. "So what is it you need, Spike?"

Spike looked at her and averted his gaze to the ground. "You seemed like you were having a nightmare and I got a bit worried."  Twilight looked at him and smiled. "That's nice of you, Spike, but it's nothing to worry about." Spike turned his gazed back at her and asked, "Was it the same dream?" Twilight nodded and gazed at the moon out side the window. "I'm starting to think that these dreams mean something, Spike." Spike shrugged as he went back to his bed. "Or maybe it's all in your head." He suggested. Twilight sighed and climbed in hers. "I'm not sure." Her gaze never leaving the moon's.

'Maybe.'

With that thought she went back to sleep.
