Hunting of 311

30 years later...

It was the day after the annual running of the leafsand the mane 6 were gathering at twilight's castle. Ever since tirrak "demolished" the golden oak library while trying to take over equestria. Twilight and her freinds had their sleep overs at her castle. The girls were telling ghost stories and right now it was pinkie's turn.

"..and then she woke up and she was in bed. AHHHHHHH!!!"

"Pinkie, that's not scary!" Shouted Rainbow Dash. "I mean even fluttershy isn't scared!"

"Yah I have to agree with Rainbow Dash." Agreed Fluttershy. "Sorry Pinkie."

"Nah it's fine Fluttershy. I was making a pretty boring story to prapare you for twilight's story."

"Oh I don't know if it's going to be that scary Pinkie." Twilight responded.

"I know it won't top mine." Bosted Rainbow Dash.

"Well then, let's get to it." Stated Rarity

"Oh alright."

"One rainy night..." Twilight began.

A logging train was running late to deliver a load of logs down the mountain. The locomotive was 4-8-2 and it's number was 311. The engine had unfortunit past from small breakdowns to huge wrecks. Soon the driver her pulled out...

"Her?" Asked Fluttershy. "Futtershy, Railroaders called the locomotive they drove a she. Don't ask why ah don't know."

"As I was saying..."

The driver pulled her out of the came and started it's juorney down the mountain. The rain turned for the worst, driver was trying to keep control of the train. She speeding down grade at 50MPH towards the bridge. The bridge was on the verdge of be washed out by the flood waters. The driver pony tried to slow 311 down but it was to late!! 311 and her crew fell into the raging waters below. Washed away by the flood waters. Her crew was never found. Some say the ghost of 311 haunts the line around the bridge. With red steam and a red headlight. Trying to complete the journey she never finished.

Once Twilight was finished the others were scared exept Rainbow Dash. It was silent. "Phh. Come on Twilight!" Rainbow Dash broke the silence. "really? A red headlight? Come on!"

"I-I think she d-did R-Rainbow Dash" Fluttershy shivered

"Ah think ah herd the same thing from Breaburn Down in Appleloosa." Stated Applejack. "He say it's filled with evil or somethin' like that. And that it came out around..." Applejack paused. "What is it dear?" Asked Rarity. "It comes around on nightmare night! THATS 311'S ANNAVERSERY!"

"Really Applejack you beleave in that too?" Shouted Rainbow Dash.

5 Miles out of Ponyville

While Railbow Dash and Applejack was aguing, something was going on outside of Ponyville. A train setting out on their journey pulled by a 2-6-2 steam locomotive. But stopped at a signal. It was red and the crew was confused. "I don't understand" said the firepony. "The dispacher said we're the only ones on the line tonight. Soon a red light was seen ahead. It was coming fast. And at closer look the train was a steamengine with a red head light and red steam coming out of it's cylinders and funnel.

The crew braced for impact but as soon as the front of the locomotive touched their's the engine disappeared. The Driver looked up and saw that they are alright. Plus the signal was green. The two opened the throttle and train rolled out of Ponyville.
