The Gon, a proud race of people of whom there ancestors were born of the breath of dragons. This legend ring true to this very day. They are strong, prideful, loyal and above all a good friend till the very end.

The same goes no different for Kenji Akabane. A Gon of 22 years of age. In his world, he grew up in a normal family. His parents cared for him, made sure he had all the love in the world. But growing up, he was always the quiet type around other kids. Things were rather awkward for him growing up. Being a gon, you don't grow like normal humans do. By the age of 12, you are almost as tall as your friend's father. You can also imagine, that you wouldn't have many friends to begin with as they saw you as a monster that towered over them.

Kenji left his home at the age of 18 seeking something different in his life. He didn't want tro end up as a merchant like his old man. he wanted something more exciting. This is where his love for the martial arts came into his life. Under the teaching of Master Hong. Kenji learned how to hone his natural gift of strength and might, and turn it into something even more greater. The young man trained and trained everyday. Learning to wield the giant axe that became his weapon. And here in this dojo, in this clan, he had a family of all kinds of his world's races. He was happy growing up there. That is, until one of the family members betrayed them all, killing everyone including their master. Kenji was presumed dead after being thrown off a cliff and into the surrounding ocean, but someone had found him and rescued him.

Present day, Kenji is now a warrior who many have come to know. simply named "The Destroyer In Black'. A simple name yes, but when others meet him, he is anything but. He is a friend that will stick by you through and through, but when his friendship is betrayed a second time, this time he will have no way of seeking revenge The dark chi that is dwelling within his body already swirls within him everyday.And now, that he has been betrayed for a simple bit of money by the one person he thought he could trust.
