This day was like any other. Kenji walked about the castle making sure things were in order, and his wife, Cadence was in the throne room, being all royal and regal and such. This is how it was for a while. Nice and peaceful. The Crystal Empire certainly needed this time of peace to be sure. But at the same time, for both Kenji and Cadence, the peace has grown too...predictable. Of course, their nights in their bed chambers were anything but peaceful. With the amount of love Cadence had for Kenji, and along with his stamina. Let’s just say the guard can sometimes hear them.

The gon eventually made his way out of the castle and into the streets of the city. He walked by many of the citizens who smiled and waved to him, he in turn did the same. He even had his own little group of fan fillies who seemed to stalk him wherever he goes. Though Cadence didn’t mind one bit, knowing that Kenji would never see another mare as he saw her. Plus, who would want to have any other than the princess of love herself? Kenji knows he cashed in big time and he wasn’t going to mess that up.

As he walked along, he noticed some construction going on, and seeing that the stallions were having an issue lifting up an important part onto the structure they were working on. He makes his way over to them and takes ahold of the rope, adding his strength to the group. They turn around to see him and smile widely.

“Hey big guy, just in time!”

Kenji chuckled lightly and began pulling on the rope, the large item beginning to lift up quickly with his added help. Once it was where it needed to be, the construction workers bow their heads in thanks.

“Thanks for coming when you did, Kenji. Would have been a long time before we got that thing up there.”

“Not a problem. What are you guys working on over here?”

“Well, it’s going to be a gentlecolt club. About time we get one of those here. There are going to be lots of pretty mares who will be seeking jobs here. We can’t wait till it gets done and opens up. Perhaps you’d like to join us whenever it is finished? Drinks are on me!”

Kenji chuckled lightly, shaking his head.

“If I didn’t have the most beautiful mare already, I might have taken you up on that offer. I get plenty of attention from her, believe me.”

“Yeah, you lucky bastard…”

The stallion said with a friendly punch to his arm.

“To think you have her all to yourself. You must have done something right.”

“Well, I was her guardian for a long time.And things just..progressed. We became closer and closer as each year passed. And now, I am her husband and she is my wife. Though I could live without the ‘prince’ title...too flashy for me.”

The burly stallion lets out a hearty laugh.

“A simple stallion through and through huh? I like that. Well, thanks for your help again big guy. I am sure you got plenty of things to do to keep you busy.”

Kenji nods and pats him on the shoulder.

“You all be careful now. And drink one for me when the place opens up.”

He went on about his business, walking through the city as much as he could before heading back to the castle. Once he made it to the throne room, he couldn’t help but see how bored his beloved princess looked as she sat at her throne. Though when he walked in, her ears perked and a smile came across her face. She leaps up and flies toward him, wrapping her arms around her husband and nuzzles into his large frame.

“You finally made it back! Everything alright in the city?”

She asked before kissing him repeatedly.

“Mhmm, they are building a gentlecolt club apparently. I take it you authorized that?”

“I did. It will give plenty of young mares jobs and increase our overall revenue.”

Kenji chuckles lightly and places his hands on Cadence’s rear, squeezing it playfully.

“Well let them have their fun...I have who I need right here…”

Cadence blushes heavily from his touch, but absolutely love how he held and touched her, even more so when he showed her off and told every other pony about him and her, especially when he boasted to other mares about her. He made her feel completely wanted and loved.

“Mmmh...you sweet talker.”

She said before leaning up and locking lips with him, the kiss lasted for what felt like thirty minutes..when it was only one. Yes, the princess of love and the gon were a perfect match for one another. That was plainly obvious. Their passionate kiss was ruined however by a large ‘BOOM!’.The castle started shaking, screaming and frantic cries could be heard outside as a loud roar was heard as well. And that was definitely a roar Kenji was familiar with.

“So...the intel was right on the money…”

He said as he sat Cadence down and grabbed his weapon from his back. Soon enough, the ceiling of the throne room was broken in by a large azure blue and red dragon. It’s fierce green eyes directly focused on Cadence. It then looked down at Kenji with a dark glare.

“I have come for the crystal princess. I demand you hand her over or I will kill any of you will little ponies who get in my way…”

He said with a loud bellowing voice that shook the walls. Kenji looked up at the large beast and laughed.

“Uuum..sorry bud, she has already been spoken for, and married. I hold both of those honors. I can’t let you just fly out of here with her..”

“No to mention, I am not the easiest to capture, thanks to what my dear husband here has taught me.”

She said as she disappeared in a bright light, only to appear in battle ready armor and a halberd in her right hand. That’s right, ever since their honeymoon had ended, Kenji took it upon himself to teach his wife how to properly use a weapon. And she took to a halberd like a fish to water. Amazing what hidden abilities the princess of love possesses.

“Hmm, this was not foreseen by the elder. No matter, I will take you to him in pieces if i have to.”

He said before reaching up and swinging his razor sharp claws down at them both, only to have them both leap away. Kenji looked over to Cadence with a wicked smile, only to have her return one back.

“Dragons are such cocky bastards, let cut this one down to size, shall we my love?”

“My dear princess of love condoning violence? Unheard of!”

And thus, the battle began. The couple charged at the beast with full force. The dragon came down at Kenji first, swiping it’s claws again at him, but this time, the gon took hold of the dragon’s wrist in his arms and squeezed tightly, letting out a mighty roar and he swings the dragon over his shoulder and slamming him onto his back with force, the floor crumbling below the heavy impact. The dragon was in complete shock as to how a being much smaller than him was able to even bring him on his back.

“What the?! You shouldn’t have this much strength, you puny creature!”

He growled in annoyance. Kenji laughed wickedly.

“Oh come now, I have faced larger than you back from my own world. Granted they were twice as powerful than you and I worked with other mercs. But you? You are just a small fry compared to them, And if it was just me fighting you, you would indeed be a challenge. But I am not alone!”

After saying that, Cadence swooped down in flight and ran her halberd’s blade directly up the dragon’s soft underbelly. The beast began writhing in pain as his sensitive scales were pierced. Kenji jumps away from dragon and readies his weapon for his own blow to the monster. Luckily, the guard came in to help as well, landing any hits they could to weaken the dragon. Eventually, the dragon was actually feeling threatened> He proceeded to lift into the air and fly off. Kenji chuckled lightly and gripped his weapon tight.

“My love, if use please.”

“Of course.”

She said all to eagerly. She quickly makes her way behind him and grabs hold of him from behind. He crouches and leaps into the air, they take off in flight.. Reaching the airborne dragon in no time, Cadence releases Kenji onto the back of the dragon.

“Get off me!!”

He shouted in anger, swaying and wiggling about in the air, trying to throw Kenji off of him. But he held on. He wasn’t going to waste this opportunity. Just below them was a large valley full of nothing but sharp jagged large crystals.

“Sorry big guy. I can’t exactly let you return with the information you have to your boss. You see it would ruin the surprise should he get off his lazy ass and come here himself. That said…”

He brings his weapon up and swings it down like a knife through butter, severing the right wing first and then the left with the same quick motion. The dragon lets out a roar of pain as his wings fall from his body and into the valley below.

“You...haven’t seen the last of us. My brethren will avenge my death with you own...I promise!”

Kenji chuckled lightly.

“As long as i have Cadence and those I care about to fight for, I will not die easily.”

He said as he leaps off the dragon’s body, the force of his legs making the beast plummet even faster now. Cadence flies up behind him, taking hold of him once more and began making their way back to the castle. Once there, the citizens and guards started cheering for them both. Even though it was most for Cadence, but he didn’t mind at all.

“You were amazing out there Cadence. Pretty awesome being a warrior princess isn’t it?”

“I am not going to lie Kenji...that was...exhilarating!”

Oddly enough, the experience that she had shared with Kenji, her love and soulmate made her very aroused, her panties a little damp from the excitement. Looks like it was going to be another long and eventful night for the two of them. But first, they needed to get that whole in the castle fixed.
