The Marelian Invasion

Equu’s. Home planet to the land of Equestria and all of pony kind. And hundreds of miles above it in orbit was a large blue and silver construction that resembled some sort of exotic corkscrew with a blue dome with two spikes on top. Inside was three pony shaped aliens heading for the ship bay. D-Cinder was explaining a few things to her companions.

“Centuries ago our kind was facing the threat of our kind being wiped out from the face of the universe, apparently a lot of other species resent the fact that we attacked there planets and took some of them for experiments. Cloning allowed us to survive by having our minds transfer to new bodies every time our old ones become unsuitable for using. However after the threat was eliminated our race became reckless, seeking thrills and danger out of the freedom of death, but now after years of idiotic self-destructive actions our race is almost out of the Marelian Matter used to create new cloned bodies. Without it we will all be faced with the grim reality of the grave, or worse trapped in some sort of mental limbo without any body’s to occupy.”

The three of them finally reached Prob-I’s ship, the Saucer X 3000. The ship was a black disk with grey panels at the side and an orange dome on top with two metal spikes coming out the top. Prob-I’s V circle symbol was on the front in bright red. D-Cinder continued her speech.

“One Marelian scientist however realized this early on however and began working on an organic renewable source of M-Matter on another planet light-years away from our own. And it seems that we have found it, your job Prob-I 137 is to go down there and get it back here”

“So what am I looking for exactly?”

“Unfortunately there is not data on that, just go down there and start scanning anything you see that looks like it could be M-Matter. Oh. Before you leave I suppose I should give you some equipment to settle any…problems you might face”

S-Pod brought a floating metal table across the bay to the ship. On it was a pare of metal wings, a pare of round green balls with a nozzles at the end. Two grey and orange mini cannons. And two white devises that looked like hand Tasers.

“As well as your holographic generator and scanner I am equipping you with these devices that link to your clipper”

“And I notice that once again you’re the only one who gets to have Holo Wings”

“These are only for VIM’s thank you, as in Very Important Marelian’s. the Jet Wings will allow you to fly at high speeds and stand on high concentrations of water vapor. The Gooper will allow you to immobilize any natives you might encounter wile the D-Constructicator will turn them in smouldering piles of chard jerky. And then there’s the ever popular Zapalater that shoots electricity, good for charging a dead battery or making a dead body”

Prob-I watched the item’s get loaded into the she “well golly gee, and its not even my birthday, anything else I should know”

“No! Now go down there and start scanning the environment for M-Matter. Oh and try to resist the urge to probe everything you see!”

Prob-I entered the ship and adjusted herself into the seat. “I promise nothing!”

And with that she flew out of the Mothership and headed for the surface of Equestria. Destination. Sweet Apple Acers.
