The Marelian Invasion

On a large glass orb that contained a three dimensional map of the depths of space, a single red light was flashing and making a beeping noise. The creature that was viewing this was the same size as Celestia and roughly the same shape. It had two talons on each foot, light green newt like skin, a pointed nose with no nostrils, long greenish blue hair as well as a long tail like that of a ponies, both made out of thin lizard scales, strait pointy yellow horns next to black bug antenna and red eyes with vertical rectangular pupils. Well one red eye the other one had a metal eye patch covering it. The creature was also wearing a yellow full body suit with yellow claw cloves on all of its legs and a metal chest plate with a green screen on it. The suit had a symbol of a circle with another circle inside and a single line coming from the center to the edge of it. The last thing was the pare of metal appendages with green holographic triangles coming from the back of it.

Yes I know that was a lot to take in but I like for others to know what new characters look like so bare with it!

“Grrrrrrrr” the creature said as it looked at the blinking light “what part of ‘don’t touch my equipment’ does she NOT understand!”

At the side of the room was a large square machine with a hatch at the top. The thing resembled a giant toaster to make things easier. There was a sudden “Ding” and the hatched ejected a small sleeping body. The seconded creature was similar to the other one, but was the size of a young filly with short stubby horns, fluffier scale hair and an identical suit to the taller one, except that it was blue with no wings attacked to the metal band on the back and the symbol had three lines instead of one making a Y shape. The small creature got up and stretched yawning.

“Enjoy you little rest S-Pod 2876?”

The small life form known as S-Pod looked up to her commanding officer with her big red square pupiled eyes.

“Oh, hi D-Cinter, I was just…wait…wasn’t I 2875?”

“Why yes. You where. But that was before you decided to fall asleep in one of my scouters and sent it CRASHING DOWN, ON AN UNKNOWN PLANET.  RESALTING IN BOTH A LOST SCOUTER AND OUR MARELIAN MATTER RESOURCES TO BE USED IN CLONING YOU! YOUR LUCKY YOUR SO SMALL OR I WOULD…” the one known as D-Cinter just stared down the smaller one with fire in her one eye. She probably would have done something extreme if a third green skinned creature hadn’t walked in. this one was the size of a normal pony with short spiky lizard hair, sharp horns and a zig zag tail. The suit she wore was red and the symbol had only two lines making a V in the circles.

“What’s shaking D, you look a little…what’s the word, constipated”

The two turned their heads to see the new arrival. D-Cinter turned her attention away from her fury for a moment.

“Prob-I 137, it seems this little idiot managed to get herself squelched, YET AGAIN! The way I see it my little scout, you are her superior and as such YOUR responsibility! WHAT THE QUARKS HAVE YOU BEEN DOING!!!”

“Chill oh mighty one, at your age I would have thought it was best to avoid stress”

“I’m only 100,300,501 years old thank you! And 4,248 years from the last time I was squelched!”

“Whatever, besides I was working on my Saucer, the char was sticking”

D-Cinter held the bridge of her nose in her two talons and breathed out. “shall I tell you two a secret, not many of our kind know this but the Marelian Matter used for cloneing isn’t limitless, with each new clone your resources become lower and lower”

“And that’s bad?”

“Only if we want to keep our immortality, OF CORSE ITS BAD! Why do you two think that such things like dare devil stunts and alcoholic bar fights have been all but stopped during the past few years? If we don’t find a source of Marelian Matter soon, our race will be in danger of becoming extinct. I have been sending scouters across the galaxy to try and find a deposit of the substance said to have been hidden eons ago, but so far I…”

Her rant was cut short by the sound of a loud ‘woop woop’ sound coming from the orb map. The three Marelian’s turned to see a green light on the map, right where the crashed scouter was located.

“I don’t believe it! The little atom brained imbecile’s alteration of the scouters path has actually found a supply of M-Matter!”

“Yay me!”

Prob-I walked over to the side of the taller Marelian. “so what your saying is that there is a fresh supply of M-Matter, and if we don’t get it we won’t be able to have any fun anymore coz we will have to deal with the grim specter of death looming over up”

“Indeed”

“Well then what are we waiting for an invitation? Lets just go and take it already!”

“Not so fast, first we must think of…”

“Think, Think, Think that’s all you ever do, let me tell you something Cinter, you’re a smart cookie, but there’s a time for thinking and a time for action!”

The small blue Marelian walked up to her two superiors “which?”

“The Seconded One!”

D-Cinter rubbed her chin “perhaps you are right Prob-I, prepare the Mothership for long range travel”

“Now that’s what I’m talking about, say what is the name of this dump?”

“Our destination, the Planet Equu’s”
