Spike went into a full panic seeing Twilight run through the mirror that, only moments ago, an unknown unicorn had departed through with the Element of Magic in tow. In an act of either complete bravery or unending stupidity, Spike ran after her, ignoring Celestia’s denial for the Elements to follow.

During the transition, he couldn’t feel anything. His body, swirling into the unknown endlessly stretching into the distance. He managed to turn his head, and got a glimpse of Twilight going through the same thing before she disappeared, leaving a glittering spark in her place.

Spike didn’t know when it finally ended, only that he could now feel the cold ground on his stomach. He tried to look around, but the world was spinning in ways he didn’t think were possible.

“What a ride, eh Twilight?” asked Spike, rubbing his head but keeping his eyes closed.

There was no answer.

“Twilight?”

Spike opened his eyes to look at the still-spinning world around him, searching for his oldest friend and pseudo-sister... but the only things he could see, were a horse statue and a building.

“Twilight?!” Spike exclaimed “Where could she be?”

The world around him snapped into place, no longer spinning as Spike frantically scrambled to his feet to look for Twilight. Except, as soon as he started to walk, he stumbled and fell, rolling into the grass. He laid there for a bit, trying to calm down.

Eventually, he managed to sit upright again, and took note of himself. His scales were hairy, and his claws seemed softer. Looking himself over fully, he appeared to be a dog. Not even a big dog, but a small and cute one!

“Oh Celestia, this can’t be happening,” he groaned “But if I’m a dog, what’s Twilight?”

An image of Twilight as a dog appeared in his mind, only to be quickly dismissed.

“There’s no time for that, I have to find her,”

Imagining the great building was closed and accompanied only by the full moon in the sky, Spike ran through the streets of the strange city, occasionally yelling the name of his best friend with all his might, causing the other dogs in the neighbourhoods to start barking and turn on the lights of the houses, breaking the harmony between the night and the artificial light of the street, Sometimes, a weird machine unknown to Spike passed at his side at high speed.

After running for five blocks, Spike stopped next to a post to take a break. He took a few seconds to appreciate the early morning sky while he was taking a deep breath. A night with low stars in the sky, unlike Ponyville.

“Where are you Twilight?” sighed closing his eyes.

Suddenly, he felt someone grabbing him with cold extremities and carrying him. When he opened his eyes, he freaked out when he saw the weird, tall beings with colorful skin, tiny noses and standing on two legs. It was something that he had never seen. He tried to get free, but it was useless.

“Look, it’s the puppy in the picture.” said the stranger, pointing to a sign.

“You’re right,” answered his friend, relaxed “Look at the reward! We can buy a lot of plants with that money,”

“Let me go, now!” Spike yelled, biting the hand that held him.

The human screamed in response and covered Spike’s mouth with enough strength to keep his head still. Then Spike saw the missing sign with a generous reward and his photo on it, smiling, with his tongue out looking at the camera.

“Wow dude, did you hear him?”

“Yeah, you put some of those weird chemicals in the plants again, didn’t you?”

“No, I don’t want to wake up in the middle of the football field like last time.”

“Nevermind, we have to take him to his owner to get the cash.”

“Dude c’mon, it’s just five blocks from here!” the relaxed one said, running.

The three of them went to the house of Spike’s so-called owner, losing sight of the horizon, the starting point of his quest. The dragon was scared, he had just two nights to find her before the portal closed.

It was midnight according to the clock over the entrance of the upper middle class house. They went through the front yard and the young man without Spike rang the bell. For a moment, Spike had calmed down and was indecisive about his next move, and for a moment he could see the bite mark on the boy, thinking that could’ve been more painful if he was a dragon.

A few seconds later, they insisted with the doorbell.

“Are you sure this is the right address? Cuz I was following you dude.”

Suddenly, the lights inside the house turned on followed by the light above the doorstep.

“Shhhh, someone’s coming.”

The young boys fixed their hair and ate a mint before the door opened.

“Good evening boys, what do you want?” asked the man of dark blue hair.

“We found your dog, sir.” one of the boys answered, showing Spike.

The mysterious face mixed with tiredness quickly changed to one with a huge smile.

“Spike, you came back!” Night Light exclaimed, grabbing Spike and petting his head energetically “Thank you so much for bring him back.”

“It’s part of our service to the community, sir.” his green haired friend interjected, hitting him with his elbow “Now, talking about the cash…”

“You’ll have to forgive me, but I don’t have any money to give you right now but…” He paused for a second as he grabbed an object off the table next to the front door “Here, have my card, call me later to set a payday.”

“That’s what we’re gonna do, have a good night sir.”

“Goodbye, compadre.” said the other guy.

The teenagers got lost in the night and the man came into the house, locking the door. In his mind he thought what are doing two teenagers outside in the middle of the night? but soon that changed when a feminine voice called his attention.

“Who was it honey?” asked the woman with coat in the stairs.

“Look!” he answered, showing Spike.

“Spike!”

The lights of the house revealed the faces of people, their physiognomy was different, but those colours and the tone of their voices were clear in his mind. Spike’s face was of surprise and amazement.

“Oh, Twilight will be so happy! Should we wake her up?” asked Night Light.

“Let’s do it, she is waiting for him for sure.” answered Velvet.

Both went upstairs and followed the corridor, and stopped at a door with scientific stickers on it. Just hearing the name of Twilight made Spike’s tail wag energetically.

“Twilight?” asked her father, knocking the door.

From the other side, Twilight, who could barely sleep since her pet ran away, rubbed her eyes and put her glasses on “Come in.”

Her parents came in with a smile that barely fit their faces. She looked them puzzled.

“Look what we found, dear.” said Night Light, revealing Spike.

Both Spike and Twilight’s gazes met for a second before Spike got free and ran to Twilight’s arms, who could barely believe it and internally prayed for this to not be a dream.

“Spike, you came back to me!” exclaimed Twilight with a hug.

The transformed dragon just barked two times in response while he was liking her face. Twilight caressed behind Spike’s ears. Then, she got up and ran to hug her parents.

“Thank you so so much!” Twilight cried, tears in her eyes.

“You’re welcome princess.” answered Night Light “Okay little miss, is time to get to bed, just for today Spike can sleep with you,”

“Okay, just tonight.” repeated Twilight getting in bed and bringing Spike in.

“Have a good night, Twilight.”

“You too.”

Velvet turned the lights off and closed the door. Twilight put the glasses on the nightstand then turned and snuggled Spike, she could finally sleep well again. But the puppy had other plans, he waited for Twilight’s parents to close their bedroom door to open his mouth and said:

“Alright Twilight, time to go.”

“Whoa! Whoa-OW!” Twilight shouted, getting away from Spike and falling from the bed.

Spike approached the edge of the bed, surprised by the reaction of her friend.

“Talked! You’re talking! That’s impossible, you’re just a dog!” Twilight exclaimed.

Spike stayed quiet, waiting for another reaction from his owner to confirm a hunch he had since he crossed the door.

“Or… it just my tired mind right? A secondary effect of missing you so much for the last three days. Yeah, that makes sense right?”

He thought about what Twilight said. What did she mean by “Missing for three days”? They were together just the other night. He looked the framed pictures all over her room that portrayed moments of her life, from her first science fair, to her brother’s graduation.

Then he understood, she was not the Twilight he knew and he was not the Spike she remembered and that Spike seemed to be missing.

Spike barked in response.

Twilight sighed in relief and came back to bed, apologizing to Spike for scaring him. Once again they snuggled and then then the strange Twilight fell asleep.

Unlike her, Spike stayed awake, scheming a escape plan. But a few minutes later and because of his position, Spike could feel Twilight heartbeat, relaxing him to the point of putting him to sleep.

The next morning, a nice fragrance woke Spike up. He jumped off the bed and stretched his claws, it had been some time since he slept in a true bed. Following the fragrance, he went downstairs and walked into the kitchen where the family was happily having breakfast and chatting about school and work. The dog approached Twilight, turned on the spot two times and then jumped on her skirt facing her dish, but when he was about to bite the food, Twilight grab him.

“Bad dog!” exclaimed Velvet pointing him with a spoon.

“Looks like someone is hungry, come on, I’ll get you some food.” Twilight said, taking Spike to his plate of food.

When she put Spike down, Twilight went to a cabinet where there was a big dog food bag. With a measuring cup, she took the right portion of food for Spike and put it on his plate.

Spike looked puzzled for a second, then he made a gross face followed by a sad face for his owner.

“That food is delicious Spike, try it.” she said, scratching behind his ears.

Without the strength to deny the power of those hands, Spike approached the plate and in a quick motion, ate one of the strange, mute coloured pieces.

From one to two, from two to four and so on, Spike cleaned the plate. It was like eating a feast of flavours compressed to the size of a candy just in front of him.

“Calm down Spike or you’re gonna choke.”

Twilight washed her hands and returned to the table to finish breakfast.

“Looks like the little one didn’t eat a thing, thanks goodness he came back.” commented Velvet.

“Yeah, it’s a relief.” added Twilight.

“It’s weird, the boys that found Spike didn’t call yet.” said Night Light.

“They’ll surely call after school. Speaking of, it’s almost time for you to get ready Twilight.” Velvet said.

“Okay mom.” Answered Twilight, taking her last bite of her breakfast.

She thanked her parents for the food and retired to her bedroom to look for her backpack. A minute later the school bus blew its horn making Twilight hurry and running out of her house, but not before saying goodbye to her parents and dog.

“Take care of Spike while I’m out!” Twilight yelled before getting onto the bus.

“Will do.” replied Night Light.

Twilight’s parents were on laboral vacation, so for a few weeks they have the house for themselves. During the firsts days they did nothing extraordinary but resting, but that night they had special plans.

After said goodbye to her daughter, Velvet took Spike to the backyard.

“Okay, do your deeds.”

Spike approached to a tree and smelled it instinctively, not realizing that the other Spike had already marked that place before. He circled the tree two times until he raised his paw to finish the act, but when he saw how Velvet was staring at him indifferently, he sat in the grass with an impatient look.

“What?”

Spike just crossed his legs.

“Fine,” she grumbled, entering the house.

Since when he is so private? She thought.

Once alone, Spike did his needs at the base of the tree. Then, being curious, he went to inspect the little house with his name on a bone-shaped sign. Inside, there was just a used mattress.

“This is better than my basket in the library.” said Spike.

He checked the rest of the backyard, however he just found normal stuff as furniture, a couple of toys and a coiled hose near the house.

“Now what have we here?” asked Spike approaching to the garden fence that divided the front and the backyard.

In front of him, was a door with a latch that prevented his escape.

“This’s gonna be easy.”

He took some distance and ran to the door, deciding to jump it. It was an easy task, he had jumped taller things in Equestria. Determined, he pushed himself with all his strength, imagining his reunion with the true Twilight. But it was all in vain, he smashed his face into the fence.

He was dizzy for a second, vision blurry, and then he shook his body.

“Oh come on, this can’t be happening!”

This time he decided to jump from the base of the door to reach the bolt, but it was useless. He cursed his luck of being so different compared to his dragon form, went to his little house and leaned back in his mattress, thinking of a plan to escape.

After several hours of thinking, a few minutes of chasing his tail and a squirrel that let his acorn fall into the garden, Spike took a nap, imagining his home outside of this prison. It was not the fact that in Ponyville he could go out whenever and do whatever he wanted. But without knowing it, Twilight’s parents had reinforced the security of the house to prevent the escape of the dog.

Later, Spike woke up from his nap suddenly when he heard a familiar sound from the street. For some reason, he felt excited about it, his tail waving frantically. Instinctively, he ran to the door and started to scratch it, resting for a few seconds before starting over. When he heard the front door opening, he started to bark.

“Spike!” Twilight called when she opened the door.

Spike leapt and covered the face of his owner with saliva as she was patting him.

“Okay Spike, do you want to do some homework with me?” asked Twilight.

Spike nodded and barked in response. Twilight locked the door after they entered her room.

“Just give me a second to change, you know how I like to dress to do homework.”

Spike took a look to the bedroom, especially the details he had missed the first time he came in and then returned his gaze to his owner. His pupils shrunk and if dogs were capable of blushing, he would have. There stood his owner in her underwear, bent over and lowering her skirt, exposing her long, skinny legs that ended in a soft ass that, despite being smaller than average, had good proportions that would stand out in the right clothing

She stood still, and so Spike couldn’t appreciate much more of her figure. Twilight finished dressing with her lab coat, arranged her hair and turned to find her dog looking at her, hypnotized with open snout and tongue out.

Twilight just gave him a warm smile, as if she knew all the dirty things he was thinking that moment.

“All set, let’s do some homework.” said Twilight, cleaning her chalkboard.

Twilight always knew that her dog was smart in some aspects, but that afternoon he showed signs of great intelligence, he hadn’t just helped her in maths, but also in science and language. As if he truly knew how to read and write!

During the time Spike shared with Twilight he didn’t think in running away. In fact, he enjoyed her company like he always did. All of that reminded him of the old times when he helped Twilight to study for her tests inmagic school, and going even further back, the time she taught him to write and read.

Without noticing it, the night had arrived, with a full moon affirming the fact.

“Uff, okay Spike, we’re done.” Twilight said, cleaning the chalk off her hands.

Spike did the same, shaking his body.

“I have to say,” she added “Your help was very appreciated today Spike, it’s like you’ve become smarter when you were on the streets. I couldn’t be more proud of having a partner like you, Spike.”

She kneel down and hugged him, he returned it by licking her cheek, making her laugh.

Suddenly, a knock on her door made them separate.

“Come in.”

Twilight’s parents got in the room.

“Wow, mom, dad, you look great.” Twilight said, regarding the red dress of her mother and the suit of her father.

“Thank you sweetie.” thanked Velvet.

“Thanks, my little scientist, your mother and I are going to dinner and to dance. Don’t wait for us and don’t stay up too late doing experiments.” ordered her father.

“No problem.”

“There’s enough supplies in the kitchen for you to make some dinner, don’t eat too late.” added Velvet.

“Okay.”

“Bye, have some fun and don’t forget to secure the door just in case.” said Night Light.

Twilight nodded, and her parents went downstairs quickly to go to the garage and as soon as they got into the car, they left the house, excited to enjoy their special night. But what they didn’t know was that their daughter also would have a unforgettable night.

When she heard the door of the garage close, Twilight put a smile on her face again as she looked Spike.

“Is someone hungry?” asked Twilight.

Spike’s tail starts wagging, his tongue stuck out and looking at her happily. Twilight ran from her room to the kitchen, followed by Spike. Like that morning, Twilight served the food to Spike, but this time she refilled his bowl of water.

“Let’s get some space for your dessert.” Twilight whispered, winking.

Spike didn’t care too much and kept eating; not noticing how his owner took a shower, lit a pair of aromatic candles in her bedroom and took a jar a peanut butter from the fridge.

“Spike, come here~” she called with melodic voice.

The dog went up the stairs without hesitation, but before got into her room, he could smell the mixed essence of the candles and the peanut butter. Surprised, he smelled the floor of the hallway to follow the trail, not noticing that he entered his owner’s bedroom.

“Hello Spike...”

Spike was now even more confused by the fact that Twilight was wearing only her lab coat, but it was a few hours before she had to go to sleep.

“I know you were out there a long time Spike; lonely, hungry, cold and confused. That’s why I want to make it up to you with something you like, Spike.”

Twilight approached the bed and sat on the edge, untying her coat. With her free hand, she pat the bed next to her, inviting Spike to come. He obeyed.

After sitting down, Spike was in the perfect spot. He could see through the open space in Twilight’s coat, his gaze focused on her exposed nipple.

Noticing this, Twilight stood up and took off her coat, exposing her naked body to him. Now Spike froze in place with big eyes and his tongue out. For the very first time since they started all this, Twilight noticed that her dog was seeing her not just with obvious enthusiasm to do what she planned, but with desire and lust.

Something inside Spike awoke, a warm feeling invading every corner of his body and, due to the circumstances, it concentrated in his lower regions. He didn’t know if was those breasts or her hips where her most intimate area was with nothing to cover what was arousing him.

Twilight’s hands slowly roamed over her body, and then caressing her dog. A shiver ran through Spike’s body. After that, she laid on her bed with her legs open, exposing her vagina. Spike fixed his gaze there, appreciating every part of it, even the little hair on it. He wanted to jump onto her right now, but like every obedient dog, he must wait the order of his owner to act.

Twilight brought the jar of peanut butter off the floor and took a generous portion in her hand. Then with her other hand, she spreaded the contents over her lower lips, taking care of not put anything inside, but after so many practice sessions gave her memories of where not to put the peanut butter. The sudden coldness on her not so private area made her moan almost inaudibly, but Spike’s ears pointed directly at the origin of the sound.

Twilight licked her fingers clean of peanut butter and her juices. That was her second favourite part. Seeing how Spike looked like he was about to explode waiting, she pointed to her vagina and said “Spike, come lick.”

It was his first time, so he didn’t know what he should do next, so he just let his canine instincts guide him. He approached his owner shyly, snuffling over her legs and her knees. Every touch of that tiny nose of his made her shudder, it’s like he was playing with her.

He was close to her lips, and Twilight could feel the puppy’s breath hit her skin as she bit her lips impatiently. Her lust and heat scrambled her brain and she didn’t see Spike’s first lick, whose tongue passed through the peanut butter and reached her vulva.

Twilight let a moan escape her. Spike, full of confidence, kept licking Twilight’s intimate zone energetically; cleaning up all the peanut butter that was, indeed, his dessert. When he was about to finish, Spike stuck his snout into Twilight’s vulva, the contact of his wet nose with her clitoris made her quiver.

“Mmmhhhh,” another moan escaped “Deeper...”

Every time they did this she let out commands like that, even though she knew that her dog would not understand the order and just keep licking carefree. That’s why she didn’t expect that Spike would use his paws to separate her lips and lick deeper inside her.

“Oh Spike, keep going, don’t stop!” Twilight screamed

The peanut butter had been finished off, and although it was delicious, there was something new that had drawn his attention, something only Twilight could give him. He licked everywhere, wishing that Twilight would let more of her angelical liquide escape. Against this new pattern, Twilight was squeezing one of her tits and her other hand was stroking her clitoris. She repeated her dog’s name constantly, her legs starting to tremble. How was it possible that her dog was suddenly so good at this?

Spike continued with his assault as if there were no tomorrow, but Twilight, in a moment of clarity, yelled:

“Spike, stop!”

Scared, Spike stepped back. He was about to ask what’s going on, then he remembered what he was. Twilight was breathing heavily, that was the first time her dog pleased her that way, and therefore, she decided such a talent shouldn’t be wasted.

“Spike… that was amazing…” she said, looking at the ceiling, then she turned to him “You know what happens when you please a woman?”

Spike didn’t, a small thread of his saliva mixed with Twilight’s juices fell to bed. She gave a look to the penis that had emerged from his body, touching Twilight’s sheets.

“She rewards you.”

Having said that, Twilight turned around and using her knees, she raised her ass into the air. Spike just swallowed in response, he could see every detail of what he was aroused by. For a second, he imagined to pony Twilight exposing herself this way, inviting him to ride her.

“Come on Spike, ride me.”

Spike stood up and put his paws on Twilight’s ass but unfortunately couldn’t reach her with his penis because of the height.

“Oops, sorry.” Twilight said, ashamed.

She grabbed two pillows and put them under her hips. Now Spike could position himself perfectly, aligning his penis with Twilight’s entrance.

“Whenever you want, Spike.” Twilight said, biting her lips again.

It was insane. Lose her virginity to a dog was not the first thing she thought when she imagined romantic scenarios (the few that she had imagined in her life). It had all started by accident a long time ago, but even back then, it was just a few licks in her moments of need; she never thought that it would lead to this. Now, she was submitting to her own pet, guided by the lust that her dog knew how to satisfy somehow.

And she liked it.

That’s why every concern disappeared when Spike slid his penis inside her. Twilight let a groan of pain and pleasure escape while Spike was snarling in bliss. A few seconds later, Spike continued his thrusting, first slow to get used to the position and then fast.

“Oh Spike!” Twilight screamed, fingers clenching.

Twilight’s moans were uncontrollable. She was thankful that her parents weren’t home and her brother had moved to his own flat years ago. Spike sometimes let out low barks, as if he was dreaming, his claws unwittingly embedding in her skin. But she ignored the pain that was smothered by the pleasure of his thrusting, the sound of their hips and the feeling of explosion that what growing inside of her, waiting for the right moment.

Blood dripped onto Twilight’s sheets; Spike’s saliva pooled on her back and mixed with her sweat. The smell of the candles had disappeared and was replaced with the smell of their sex.

Their thrusts synchronized,Twilight using the pillows under her to rub her clitoris and increase her pleasure, and that was worth it.

“Spike, I’m about to… aahhhh… finish inside me!” Twilight commanded.

Suddenly, her vaginal walls started to throb like Spike’s penis. Their moans intensified and their thrusting reached maximum speed in those last few seconds.

“Spike!” Twilight yelled, letting one last great moan escape.

Spike meanwhile let out a howl, born from the deepest side of his animal instincts.

Twilight’s legs shook, suddenly weak, and unable to hold herself up, she laid down on the bed. Spike was still inside Twilight due to his knot, making it impossible to get out. Twilight had read about it, they just had to wait.

Both of them were still, their heavy breathing slowing down as minutes passed, their minds returning to reality too. Twilight’s hair was a mess and her glasses had fallen from the nightstand to the floor near her coat that.

She didn’t regret what she did. And neither did Spike.

Moments later, Spike’s knot shrunk and he pulled it out, making Twilight sigh in relief. Tired Spike fell onto the legs of his owner.

“Oh, come here my little puppy.” Twilight cooed, bringing Spike close her.

Their exhaustion was greater than any they’d experienced before. With a quick movement and the last of her energy; Twilight flipped the sheet where they had sex over to hide the wet spots in case her parents decided to come in and check, then covered both of them with it, snuggling Spike at her side.

“You are the best thing in my life Spike, I love you.” whispered Twilight, followed by a kiss on his forehead.

Spike had little muscular spasms as he was sleeping. His paws shook and occasionally let out an almost inaudible bark. Sometimes, those barks were words but his owner didn’t hear them because like him, she was deep asleep.

Suddenly, he could see how Twilight, his Twilight, was holding hands with other humans that seemed an awful like his pony friends in Equestria; and in a show of magic and friendship, a rainbow traveled through the sky until hit something similar to a demon. Then, a bright flash blinded him.

“Twilight!” Spike yelped.

It was just a dream, but it seemed so real…

He remained thoughtful for a few minutes, looking at nothing, breathing calmly like the night itself. He turned to see his owner who was sleeping naked under the sheets, her face reflecting peace.

He looked to the moon. Suddenly, pictures of his dream seemed to fit with the things he saw at the beginning of his adventure; the horse statue and the building.

“No way!”

Scared, he looked to Twilight who didn’t seem to awoken by the screams of her talking dog. Without losing more time, Spike jumped from the bed and ran to the door, which was open thanks to Twilight. But a sensation of guilt washed over Spike; she had already lost her dog once and he may never return if he left, but he couldn’t abandon pony Twilight, it was because of her that he had come to this strange world in the first place.

It was time to find her.

Before leaving, Spike went to Twilight’s desk and took a piece of paper and pencil.Folding it carefully, he tucked it between the arms of her glasses. Spike jumped onto the bed and gave Twilight a goodbye kiss on the lips and spark ran through his little body, but he ignored it.

With nothing else to do, he leapt off the bed and walked through the door, losing himself in the darkness of the house.

It was not until two hours after that Twilight noticed Spike’s absence. Still sleeping, she groped for Spike to hug him but when she couldn’t find him, Twilight awoke, scared.

“Spike?” Twilight called.

But he didn’t answer.

“Spike, come here!” Twilight called again, her voice cracking with worry.

But he still didn’t answer. Twilight sat up in her bed, looking everywhere, but he wasn’t there. Her naked body was touched by the moonlight entering from the window.

When she took her glasses from the floor, she found a piece of paper folded in half. Confused, she pick it up and opened it. Her surprise was great and unless her parents had returned home early, she was the only one who could write the message, or at least that would be the conclusion if her dog hadn’t shown signs of great intelligence.

She immediately pulled on her coat and looked for Spike all over the house; from her parent’s bedroom, passing through the bath, and even the backyard, but there was no trace of him. She checked the doors, all closed with locks, same as the windows. But then where is he?

She ran from the backyard to the garage, and before she got there she saw that it was illuminated not by the house lights, but from the outside. When she arrived, she saw the automatic door opened and near the button was the pencil Spike used to write the message. Careless, Twilight ran to the street and yelled:

“Spike!”

The peace of the night was interrupted by that scream. Twilight started to cry freely, once again her life partner, and recently lover, had escaped a second time. She felt her body fall to the ground, on her knees as her tears were moistening the grass.

The paper crumpled in her hand, but its message, a compound of two simple words, would be recorded in her heart for a long time.

I’m sorry.

After his escape, Spike ran faster than he had before, down all the streets and ready to return to the starting point of his adventure. Dogs were barking his way, cars were passing him, the houses turned their lights on again. He even left behind the lamppost with his missing poster on it.

When he reached the block of the building with the statue, he could see that part of its lights were on and the main entrance was destroyed. But what drew his attention the most was the group of girls near the horse statue, all elegantly dressed. Using the rest of his energy, he ran the last meters, one by one, the figures of that girls became recognizable, from the pink one with crazy hair to the girl with rainbow hair, and finally, the most important, the girl wearing a crown.

“Twilight!” yelled Spike.

She turned when she heard her name called by a familiar voice.

“Spike?” she called.

When she saw a puppy with the colours of her dragon partner running quickly and who could speak, she knelt down to grab him with a hug.

“Spike!” Twilight exclaimed, excited.

Spike jumped into the arms of his Twilight and licked her face as she was hugging him.

“He talks?!” asked the others.

Twilight stood, holding Spike “Girls, this is Spike, my dragon partner,”

“A talking dragon dog!” squealed Fluttershy, getting closer to him “Tell me, what are you thinking right now?”

Spike didn’t know how to answer her, he looked to Twilight and, for a second, he could see a spark in her eyes that was brighter than ever before and a warm feeling that this time, was just in his chest.

“Sure would love a scratch behind the old ears.”
