A shadow's tale

Eclipse sat obediently while some mares styled her mane and tail. A white dress already on her small frame.

"you look so beautiful lady eclipse ."

One mare with a pink coat and white mane complemented.

"thank you." was all the dark red eyed mare said.

Walking down the aisle. Heart filled with dread. Eclipse saw Jake...her...husband. Oh, dear celesta did she not want to marry him. But. As the daughter of the shadows, she had no choice.

"you may now kiss the bride" the old stallion said. As Jake kissed her she tried her best to not make her shadows rip into him.

Shivering in distress she held back from harming him.

She was now a fire pony's wife oh the joy.

Jake smiled. And just faintly she could see something sinister glow in his yellow eyes.

What did her father get her into?
