1000 years ago in Equestria, there was a human. No ordinary human though, this human was a shape shifter. He was able to turn into anything.

Sometime back in 1200 this human lived among the ponies, he laughed with them, cried with them, smiled with them, He made many friends over the years. Unfortunately for the shifter, there was a murder and he was accused of committing it in 1220, and banished from Equestria.

What the ponies of Equestria didn't know.
