Memories of Blood part 1

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Darkness. Rattling chains. All around, naught but rattling chains and pitch blackness. Howling. It howls in this hell. Rage. Rage is all it knows, all it needs to know. Celestia. That was her name. Her name. Celestia. The very thought of it sent pure unfettered rage, fresh waves of it crashing against its non-existent sanity.

Howling. Howling and darkness and chains and dark and chains and rage and endless torment. All alone...so alone. In the black only a single red eye glows...a single eye filled with nothing but the blackest pits of rage and hate.

Celestia eyed the bipedal creature. His chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm as the thing rested. The princess of the sun had a swarm of questions running through her skull. What was he? Where did he come from? What was that thing he was fighting? Was he dangerous? Celestia didn't even need to think to say that 'Yes, the creature is very much dangerous'. But would it harm any of her precious ponies? If he was going to, why risk his life to save two?

The door behind her creaked open, breaking her free of her silent contemplation. The sun goddess turned to see her faithful student and the other elements of harmony...and lastly Spit Fire herself, all trot slowly in. Each and every one of them stared  at the tightly bound bandages around the creatures chest.

“Uhmmm, Princess? Is...is he ummm, is he going to be alright?” Fluttershy, forever the concerned pegasus, asked very meekly behind a wall of mane.

Celestia smiled warmly at her, “He is expected to make a full recovery.”

All seven of the new arrivals let out a sigh of relief for the bipedal being. “But...I need to make absolutely certain he won't cause any harm to any of my little ponies.” Celestia's smile drooped to her usual poker face smile.

All of them, save for Celestia, blinked in unison. “But how do y'all reckon to go about that princess?”

Celestia sighed, letting her signature soft smile drop entirely, “That, dear Applejack, none of you may like the solution, yet I fear is the only way. I need to examine his memories, specifically on those leading him to land in Clouds Dale.”

“But ya'll can't do that princess! It's no ponies business to be snooping around in some ponies privacy!” Applejack immediately began to protest, but Celestia figured she would. She was after all, the element of honesty.

Celstia sighed before facing Applejack directly, the farm mare had a look on her that can only be described as being torn. “It is the only way. I have a spell that will play memories important to us in this mirror.” The princess paused, waving a hoof over a massive mirror that had somehow gone unnoticed by every pony present.

Celestia turned around to face the creature, still deep in slumber. “If any pony desires to leave, do so now.”

“Doth our sister truly intend to go through with this violation of ones final sanctuary?” Celestia balked, she hadn't even heard her sister enter.

“Luna, it must be done. I have no idea as to how dangerous he is.”

“Doth thou really use that as an excuse? We are goddess's. What hope doth a mortal have against us?”

“I won't take any chances Luna.”

Luna eyed her sister, scrutinizing her very soul it seemed. “Very well sister. If thou truly believes in violating the final sanctuary that one has, the mind, then so be it. But we will not idly watch as the creatures mind is violated.”

With that the princess of the night turned and trotted out the door, leaving the elements of harmony and Spit Fire to look at one another uncertainly. Celestia sighed, before waving a glowing horn over the bipedal creature.

Isaac darted down the dimly lit hall that was streaked with blood. The engineer panted with a  mix of tiredness and sheer terror. What the hell? The human remembered this. It was shortly after he had arrived onto the Ishimura.

The human couldn't do anything. It was like he was being forced into reliving every stain, every blood soaked hall that he fought through on the dead planet cracker ship. He was forced to endure the sheer terror again as he worked from the beginning of fixing the ship all the way to leaving Aegis 7 via escape shuttle.

When Isaac finally thought it was over, he found himself in the asylum at the Sprawl. Just like with the Ishumura, Isaac found himself watching the memories play out. Almost like a movie as he trudged through the dead and dying city. Everyone single blood soaked step the man had taken, he was reliving.

Every time Nicole would appear, Isaac would try to tell himself it wasn't real, but the sheer terror. Isaac mentally screamed in pain as every single moment played through his skull. Just as Isaac thought the mental ordeal was over... the memories leading to... NONONONONONONONONONO!!!!

Isaac desperately tried to stop the flood of memories. NO! I WON'T GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN! But no matter how hard the man mentally struggled, the memories began to play anyway.

They all stared wide-eyed. Every pony, Celestia included, had already thrown up..many times over. The princess had materialized buckets with her magic. The sheer gore...they had never heard of or seen anything like this. Pinkie's mane had long deflated, Fluttershy hadn't 'meeped' the whole time. The shell shocked pegasus couldn't even tear her eyes away from the mirror.

No pony had said a word either, far too engrossed in the tale being shown to them. They watched, completely terrified and in awe as the human fought from the depths of the U.S.G Ishimura, to the Sprawl. And it had taken an entire day, but no pony noticed for they were far too engrossed in the events playing before they eyes.

And now they watched with baited breath as Isaac and Ellie's escape craft flew into communications range of the U.S.G Epsilon.

….

Refuge. Isaac had found a sanctuary of sorts since coming aboard the U.S.G Epsilon. No necromorphs. No security forces. Peace. For an entire week. Nothing but peace, peppered with questions by Captain Hector, but for the most part there was peace.

On top of it all...Ellie and Isaac were nearly inseparable. The two had survived hell together, it only made sense that they stuck together. And on one of those days of peace it just sort of...happened.

Isaac simply sat on his bed, back to the wall and stared at a single spot in the wall. His door hissed open and Ellie stepped in, “Hey Isaac.” The woman plops down right next to the man and simply stares at the wall.

Isaac grunts, “Anything in particular you want to talk about?”

“Not really. Well...there is...” Ellie pauses mid thought, unsure of whether or not she should proceed.

“Spit it out Ellie. If anyone can help, it's me.” Isaac says softly, not wanting to scare the woman off.

Ellie looks away, “Well Isaac, I've been reliving that hell every night. I can't get any sleep. At all. How do you do it?”

Isaac smirks at her, “Who ever said I got sleep?”

Ellie whirls around, “What? You look like you sleep like a baby!”

Isaac laughs, “I'm just good at hiding my exhaustion.”

The engineer trails away from his laughter before he coughs, “So. Do you want to talk about any of it?”

Ellie looks at Isaac, a look of sadness in her eyes. “Well..not really.”

The pair turn back to staring at the wall. For a whole five minutes neither one of them say a word.

“Say Isaac?” Ellie pipes up, breaking the silence.

“Yeah?” Isaac grunts, turning to face the woman.

“Did you have...a girlfriend before all of this shit went down?” Ellie asks, straight forward and blunt.

What the hell, where did that come from?

“Yeah... But she...” Isaac starts.

“She died.” Ellie finished.

Isaac turns to face her, and both simply stare into one another. Here she was, out of all the shit that had happened, the one constant Isaac could count on was Ellie. She was dependable, definitely balls to the wall dangerous, (In her case, breasts to the wall dangerous) and got the job done when it needed doing. He trusted her, and found it easy to confide in the woman.

And now Isaac found himself leaning closer to her, as she leaned closer to him.

Isaac's head swarmed with thoughts, each battering over the others in desperation to take control. What the fuck is happening? What the fuck? What the-

Their lips press together, gently at first. But then some burning passion in both of them lit ablaze and they mashed their lips together. Isaac felt something slip in between his lips...Ellie's tongue. Their tongues intertwined, dancing in Isaac's mouth and the engineer didn't have a care in the world as they pushed against one another.

And then Isaac found himself on his back, Ellie straddling him right above his crotch. They broke apart at the lips, a little trail of saliva between them. Ellie, leaned back down and pressed her lips to his ear. Her hot breath tickled as she whispered, “I've always been able to count on you Isaac. Always. Unlike every other fucking man that has been in my life. I had a boyfriend before hell broke loose. Do you know what he did? He left me to die. I watched him leave in an escape pod without him ever looking back. And that very pod crashed into one of the walls. Bastard deserved it.”

Ellie leans back up and plants a kiss on Isaac's lips, not as passionate as before, but just enough to rile the man further. She leaned over to his other ear, “But not you Isaac. You stuck with me through and through.”

Isaac couldn't take it anymore. Lost to blind passion, the engineer grabbed Ellie's head from behind and brought her back to his lips. The two's lips worked together, eliciting soft moans as tongues danced and mined the others mouth.

Isaac's hands found no resistance as he fondled and explored all over her body. One of his hands kneaded her left nipple under the shirt, but above the bra. Teasing it while his other hand dug his fingers into her dripping sex.

The woman moaned in his mouth, only exciting Isaac further. Isaac dug his fingers in deeper and deeper, twirling and stabbing at her g-spot when he found it. He smiled inwardly as Ellie gasped into his mouth.

Ellie broke off the kiss, glaring sultrily into Isaac's eyes. “Jeez Isaac, OH GOD! Yo-you really know what you're doing don't you?” The woman moaned deeply as Isaac plunged his fingers deeper in, still kneading her nipple.

“Clothes. Off.” Ellie managed to bark out the order in between moans. Isaac reluctantly pulled his dripping fingers out. The man scrambled out of his suit and began to rip his clothes off. Isaac's little engineer plopped out, ready and willing to play.

Isaac glanced up at Ellie who was eying the man's soldier with a look of hunger. “Damn, Isaac. Why didn't tell me you had a lethal weapon in your pants this whole time?” Isaac let his head fall back and laughed.

Before he knew what was happening, Ellie had tackled him back down onto the bed. Ellie smirked and whirled around so her dripping sex was a mere few inches in front of his face. Before the man could even get to licking, he felt it.

Isaac let out grunt as he felt Ellie's tongue swirl around his helmet. Then the woman took the appendage in her mouth. Isaac gasped at the feeling of the woman's warm mouth, her tongue swirled around as she brought her head up and down.

Isaac grunted as Ellie took it deeper down her throat, she pumped  faster and faster, bathing the ready soldier in her spittle as her tongue swirled around it while she worked. The overwhelming sensation of pleasure wouldn't let Isaac even so much as move.

And then Ellie slammed her sex down into Isaac's face. The man eagerly began to lap up at the overflowing juices while simultaneously stabbing his fingers inside. His other hand twirled away at Ellie's clit, eager to make her come. The woman moaned onto his cock. For what felt like a heavenly eternity, Isaac lapped away and Ellie sucked away.

Ellie's hips bucked and her inner lips had a spasm. Juices shot into Isaac's eager mouth. The man sucked and licked away, prolonging Ellie's orgasm as she gasped and moaned onto his little engineer.

The moment the end waves from Ellie's orgasm passed through her, she doubled back at his cock as if to make up for lost time. The pilot took him  deeper and deeper, faster and faster than she had before.

Ellie's tongue lathered all around the erect soldier as she pumped her head back and forth, before she eagerly took him all way in. He could feel her breath and lips pressing above his groin before she slowly drew back up and let his cock pop out.

The moment it was out Ellie immediately gave a lick up the entire shaft before eagerly taking it back in and repeating the process entirely.

Then he felt it. “Oh god Ellie, pull me out, I'm gonna...” Isaac grunted, desperate not to come. But Ellie instead took him deeper into her mouth. Isaac couldn't hold it back. He felt his cock firing deep into her mouth.

Isaac felt as if he was in heaven as his appendage shot wave of sticky seed after wave of sticky seed into Ellie's mouth. After a minute, Ellie pulled off his cock with an audible pop.

Isaac grunted and before Ellie could even open her mouth, the man grabbed her ass and held it up in the air. The engineer pulled himself out from underneath the woman and with a single over whelming primal urge, the engineer lined himself up, ready to go.

Ellie look back at him, a single strand of cum dripping from her lips. The woman smiled up at him and lifted the string into her mouth with a finger before slurping at it. Isaac slammed straight into her with a primal growl.

Isaac twirled a finger in Ellie's hair, before kissing the back of her head. Isaac was on his side, back to the wall while Ellie's back was against his bare chest. His other hand was firmly held in Ellie's own and both of their soft breathing filled the room.

“Isaac?” Ellie's whisper broke the tranquil silence. Her grip on his hand tightened.

“Yeah?”

“I love you.” Ellie's whisper was barely audible.

Isaac's smile grew wide in the dark. The man kissed her on the cheek before pressing his own cheek to hers. “I love you too Ellie. I love you too.”

All eight of them. All eight of the ponies in the room had a furious blush across their cheeks. They were all so red, they could be mistaken for direct relatives to Big Mac. Even Princess Celestia was not spared from the massive awkwardness that came with watching that particular memory.

“Ah...uhh...ah have no idea what ah should say to that.” Applejack managed to stammer out.

“I do.” Rainbow Dash almost immediately shot out.

Every pony turned to look at her, and the cyan mares wings were fully erect.

“It was hot.” Every pony gave her a look that seemed to say 'What in the buck are you talking about?'

Rainbow Dash simply shrugged, “Don't even try to deny that it was extremely hot.”

Every pony in the room suddenly had no desire to look RD in the eye and instead turned back to the memories in the mirror.

Alarms. An alarm blared, snapping Isaac and Ellie out of their peaceful slumber. “Attention, all personnel and all civilians immediately report to the bridge we have an  emergency situation.” A young mans voice shakily spoke over the intercoms.

Ellie and Isaac locked eyes for a single moment, the two  planted a hasty kiss on the lips before they started grabbing madly at clothes. “Any idea what's going on?” Isaac asked, clicking his suit into place.

“I think it may have something to do with you getting laid. Bet the captain wants to host a party for you for finally getting some puss.” Ellie smirks and glances at Isaac's groin as she pulls she jacket on.

Isaac rolls his eyes and clicks his helmet back on. The duo leave the room and... stop. The hallway was dark. “Ellie... I do not like the look of this at all.” Isaac takes out his plasma cutter and turns shines the light up and down the hallway.

Complete and utter darkness. And absolutely nothing was moving. “Isaac! I really do not like the look of this!” Ellie already had her choice plasma cutter aimed down the hall, scanning for any movement at all.

Isaac simply grunted in response, slowly scanning back and forth in front of him with the flash light from his own choice weapon.

Scritch Scratch.... and a whimper. A little girls whimper.

The sound echoed throughout the dark hallway, startling the two humans who immediately whirled towards the source. Isaac silently stalked forwards, his plasma cutter ready to mow down what ever jumped at him.

Ellie silently trekked behind, ready for anything. The scratching and whimpering grew louder and louder. As the pair grew closer and closer. The duo arrived at a door, a massive stain of blood dripping down from the center.

Isaac slowly stepped through the door as it whooshed open, his light shone through the darkness, warily looking for anything moving in the room. The place, a room much like Isaac's, was in shambles, broken bits of furniture were thrown about the room and deeps pools of blood stained the white tile floor.

An ear shattering screech pierced the quiet. Isaac whipped towards the source, plasma cutter at the ready to find...

A little girl.

The little one couldn't have reached his waist and had short, cropped auburn hair with the exception of a long bang covering one of her eyes. Her eye(s)were wide with utter terror revealing light blue orbs. Tears streaked her cheeks and face and clothes were smeared with blood.

Isaac lowered his plasma cutter and cocked his head to the side. The man knelt down and held a hand out to the little one. “Come here little one, I won't let the monsters get you.” The girl blinked back another wave of tears.

Isaac held his hand out patiently while the girl tentatively stepped closer and closer, eying him with caution. “ Come on, I won't hurt you. What's your name? Mine's Isaac.” Isaac cooed at the girl. The girls slowly came forward and the last second slammed into Isaac, wrapping her arms tight around the engineer.

Isaac scooped the girl up, putting his plasma cutter away as he lifted her. The man hugged her tight and started whispering words of comfort into the girls ear. “Isaac we should get out of here. I don't like this one bit.” Ellie warned, eyes glancing back and forth in the dark.

Isaac silently acknowledged her, still hugging the nameless little girl tightly to his chest. Ellie led the way down the pitch black hallway, her plasma cutter up and ready to mow any necros down. “How do you think they got on board Isaac?”

Isaac grunted, “No idea. But I have a feeling we'll figure it out pretty damn quick.”

Isaac look down into the girls messy brown, blood streaked hair. The little one had buried her face into his chest. The engineer could feel her shaking in fear in his embrace. The man tightened his grip, “You're safe now. Mr.Izzy's got you.”

The no name girl gave response, save for tightening her grip and burying his face deeper into his chest plate. “Hey Isaac!!! Look over there!” Ellie called over her shoulder, excitement in her voice. The woman jogged ahead, and Isaac looked up to see lights flickering over a massive door, where Ellie was talking quickly with some one on a vid screen.

“Is it just me...or did the little one look almost identical to Fluttershy?” Rainbow Dash asked, hovering in the air as she eyed the memories in the mirror.

Every pony turns back and forth between Fluttershy and the child in the mirror, squinting as they examined them.

“Yeah, you're right. They look so similar. That's sooooooooooooooo freaky. Do you think she likes parties?” Pinkie Pie ranted off excitedly. Every pony chuckled at the party pony's antics before turning their attention back to the mirror.

The bridge was enormous. And packed with crew who utterly confused. At the back of the bridge there was a massive plane of glass giving a spectacular view of space on the other side. There was a platform on which many vid screens and keyboards were lined for crew members to monitor the ship. And a man,, Captain Hector Concarne. The captain was a thin wiry man with graying hair signaling his old age. That hair was short and cropped and the man a scar running from his top right eye brow all the way to the base of his neck on the opposite side.

The captain stood surveying the scene before while some crew members  danced their fingers across key boards behind him. In front of him, the writhing mass of people, Isaac could only guess there was at least two hundred people in the crowd, people were shouting back and forth, many tossed insults at the grizzled captain.

“SILENCE!!!!” The man boomed with a voice like thunder despite his slender and old frame. The captain's eyes gazed over the crew in front of him, his eyes cold and calculating. “Some unknown enemy is killing my crew indiscriminately and I will not stand for it!”

The man paused, his gaze swooping over the entire crowd, before his gaze fell on Isaac. The engineer felt as if the captain was staring into his very soul. “I've ordered you all here for your own safety and I WILL keep you safe. Do I m-”

The lights flickered and the massive doors shook as something wailed at it. Every body froze and stared in shock at the reinforced doors. The doors rumbled again and fear was quickly added to confusion.

“What's happening out there?” Captain Hector shouted over his shoulders.

“We can't see sir. Something's disabled all camera's outside the bridge!” A nameless crew woman called out from one of the vid screens.

Captain Hector scowled and muttered something inaudible.

Isaac swore under his breath before yelling at the top of his lungs, “Every body get as far from the doors and walls as you can! RIGHT NOW!”

Everyone glanced at him in confusion as the engineer tore through the crowd, yelling furiously for them to get back.

Until a blood curdling scream echoed throughout the bridge. Every one look to the source to find a man with a barbed claw through his chest. The poor man gurgled a fountain of blood as the barbed claw pulled back through his body.

The corpse noiselessly slid down the wall leaving a trail of blood as the body flopped to the ground.

Nobody. Said. A. Word.

And in a single moment all hell broke loose amongst the crew. Men and women screamed in panic, cries of children pierced the air and everyone moved around frantically.

“EVERYONE CALM DOWN!” The captain roared at the top of his lungs. In a single moment all of the crew stopped to look at the old captain.

“This is a time of crisis. I know, but together we can survi-”

“HELL NO MAN! WE'RE SCREWED.” A disheveled soldier stepped forth, helmet off and panic in his eyes. “There are...things out there waiting to kill us! Game over man! Game over! We're all go-” The witless marine stopped his rant when Isaac sucker punched him in the face.

While the marine stumbled back Isaac grabbed his shoulders and threw the man to the ground, before the marine could recover himself. Isaac slammed his foot onto the mans chest. “WE CAN'T FUCKING SURVIVE!!!!?!??! BULL SHIT!!!”

Isaac jabbed a finger at the captain, “HOW MANY OF THE CREW ARE MISSING?”

The captain inclined his head, “About a hundred. Why?”

Isaac stepped harder onto the groaning marine's chest. “Right now there are hundred monsters surrounding this room, watching us through the cracks. They're probably in the air vents too. Waiting...waiting to slaughter us at the most opportune moment.” The crew looked all around desperate to see...something.

“But we have one thing that they don't.” Isaac glared at each and every one of the shivering crew, daring them to challenge him.

“And that's me.” Isaac whirled back to the captain, “What happened to the U.S.G Ishimura and The Sprawl?”

The captain blinked, “Ishimura's gravity tethers malfunctioned and it crashed into the base of Aegis 7 and the Sprawl's main power grid explo-”

“Wrong.” Isaac shouted

“What happened to the Ishimura and The Sprawl is what's happening on this very ship right now. The marker and its damn necromorphs.” As if on cue, the massive door rattled and groaned as something smashed against it.

Isaac stepped off the marine and aimed his plasma cutter at the door. “Everyone get your tools or weapons ready.” The engineer clicked his plasma cutter ready, aiming down the sights at the rattling steel door.

The door moved slightly out of place with another groan as something slammed into it again. The gathered humans gave each other looks of panic as they fumbled with their own weapons. “Aim for the limbs. Go for the legs first but think they're dead yet. They'll start crawling after you.”

Another slam and more groaning metal brought everyone's weapons out. Plasma cutters on the crew glowed and the marines aimed pulse rifles at the door. The humans shivered and shook, many were pale with fear at the thought of what was on the other side of the door.

Isaac bent down and looked at the little one who stared wide eyed at the horde of creatures surging forwards. “Alright little one, you're going to be just fine. Just stay with me and you'll be just fine.” Isaac stroked her cheek with a single finger before gently before pulling her onto his back with a heave.

And with a final slam the door flew off of its hinges and skidded a few times into the room. A massive necromorph lumbered into the bridge as slashers and pukers swarmed around it into the room. Guns blazed to life as the crew fired into the hoard of monstrosities.

Isaac fired quickly, each shot tearing through limbs of the surging horde. But they just kept swarming around the monstrously over-sized necromorph. The thing in question roared as it lumbered into the massive room.

As the thing charged it swung its massive claws side to side, tossing human and necromorph alike into the air. Isaac glared at the creature as it tore through the other humans with ease when he noticed...something crawling up its leg.

Isaac's eyes went wide with surprise when he realized Ellie was climbing onto the monsters back. Isaac surged forwards, desperate to reach Ellie. The engineer tuned out the screams of terrified, dying men and the screech of the necromorphs as he pumped his legs as fast as he could when-

KABOOM!

A massive explosion splattered the monsters head clean off its head and the limp carcass simply fell to the ground with a loud and dull thud. Despite the ear shattering sound and massive fire works, no one seemed to pay any mind to the spectacle.

Isaac nearly jumped when something grabbed his shoulder. The human whirled around plasma cutter at the ready.

Only to find Ellie smirking at him, “Oh don't be so jumpy there love. We've got work to do after all.” Ellie whipped her plasma cutter past Isaac's and the little girl's head and fired three shots in rapid succession.

“Well what are you waiting, you have a lot of catching up to do if you want to make up for me killing the big thing.” Ellie teased before firing into the mass of writhing necromorphs.

All Isaac could do was shake his head before he began taking aim in the crowd of necromorphs again.

To Be continued

I'msorryI'msorryI'msorry I AM SO SORRY. :( Soon after I put the last chapter up I was leaving Xi'an for Beijjing. I think it was a week after I posted that I left Xi'an. I spent nearly a week in Beijjing and came back to America only 2 weeks ago tuesday. I completely lost track of time and only got a little bit of work done here and there. I decided today that I was going to sit down and get some of it done when I realized...this chapter will be REALLY long and I haven't given any you something to do for over a month!!! I feel HORRIBLE! So I split the chapter into two parts so you have something from me.

Okay now that that's out of the way...did anyone have major complaints about this story, I proofread before I posted but I still might have missed some stuff. Was the 'clop' enjoyable? Or am I terrible at it, it was a complete atrocity never attempt it again terribad?  Plz...tear this chapter a new one. I still don't feel like I've improved very much.
