Mario & Luigi (and The Cutie Mark Crusaders) Crusaders, Cutie Marks ,'N' Chaos
Chapter 1: A Strange Discovery
The forest is quiet. A very peaceful place to be on a nice spring morning. That is unless you are a plumber named Luigi who woke up very early in the morning by his brother Mario who thought he saw Kamek, Sergeant Guy, Private Goomp, and Corporal Paraplonk enter the forest that night.
Luigi is very tired and really wishes to be back in his bed asleep while Mario is determined to find those not too bright henchmen of Bowser. Luigi's stomach grumbles and he pulls out a mushroom that he brought along to eat. Mario keeps walking and walking without end and they soon reach a large tree that they saw three times before. 'hmm' Mario thinks, 'have we been going in circles this entire time'
Mario then proceeds to shake his head and start walking again. Luigi is not to fond of this one minute break but follows Mario anyways.
Soon they reach a large cliff in the forest. Luigi is considering turning around and going home but then remembers that he is afraid of the forest without Mario around and that he doesn't remember which was home is or was. Mario turns around and starts to walk around the cliff. And, Luigi follows becoming very impatient and bored eating the mushroom as they go along.
After walking for another hour Mario see's a bright colorful light out of the corner of his eye and turns toward it. Luigi looks over as well but is still very tired. Mario starts walking towards the light and Luigi follows close behind.
Once they get closer Mario realizes that is is a sparkling rainbow warp pipe. Luigi runs over to it and looks inside and is almost blinded by the bright light coming from inside. 'well i have never seen a rainbow colored warp pipe before.. and its just out in the open.' Mario thinks to himself 'something doesn't feel right about this...'
They start looking around for anything suspicious but fail and find nothing out of the ordinary. 'This still seems very suspicious it cold be a trap set by those three or worse!' Thinks Mario to himself.
Mario looks around and slowly approaches the warp pipe cautiously. Inching closer and closer to the pipe* Once he got close enough he slowly reaches out his hand and touches the warp pipe. Nothing seems to have happened so he gets closer and looks inside. The warp pipe sucks in his hat and it disappears down into the light. Mario is quick to react and grabs Luigi by the arm and jumps down the pipe after his hat with a screaming Luigi following right behind him and the warp pipe entrance disappears.
"Did we do it?" Private Goomp ask's as he jumps out behind a bush. "you know i think we did!" replies Sergeant Guy and he waddles out from behind a tree and Corporal Paraplonk flies out of the same tree. "Yes your plan actually worked you morons!" Kamek says visibly upset. "Except for the fact that we don't know where we sent them!". All of them excluding Kamek look at each other dumbfounded. "oops" they all say except for Kamek in unison.
"Those two plumbers could be anywhere in the Mushroom Kingdom!!" Kamek yells "lucky for you three I made that pipe extremely long so I will be a while before they come out the other side!"
"Umm what if you made the pipe again but shorter so we will be there before those Mario Bros." Sergeant Guy says. "What do you think guys.?" He looks over to Corporal Paraplonk "I guess that would work." He replies. Then they both look over at Private Goomp. "Yeah sure what do you think Kamek?" He asks.
Kamek ponders this for a few moments and then replies "Fine i'm sending you through that same pipe to find out where they have gone" Kamek says angrily as he casts a spell and summons the warp pipe back then levitates them into the pipe and they all go down at once.
"I swear that those three idiots are sometimes the smartest of lord Bowsers army and yet somehow still the dumbest..." He mutters to himself as he flies back to Bowser's castle on his broom.
**Golden Oak Library**
The three cutie mark crusaders Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo are bugging the lavender unicorn twilight sparkle to use her magic to them each a cutie mark. "girls i can't just use magic to get you your cutie marks." Twilight says for the thirteenth time. "c'mon twilight pleeaase?" begs Apple Bloom. "No i can't just use magic and poof it will be there". Says Twilight who is very tired of the crusaders begging and pleading. "I mean its not like something you are all good at is just going to fall out of the sky."
There is suddenly a large flash of light from the sky. "umm.. girls.." Sweetie Belle says worriedly looking out the window. "somethings falling from the sky..!"
Every pony in the room including Spike runs over to the window and to their surprise there are three things falling from the sky towards Sweet Apple Acres. "YAY!!!" the three crusaders say at the same time. "Thanks Twilight!" they call out as they run out towards Sweet Apple Acres. Twilight who is just standing at the window dumbfounded "But i didn't.... what? How! Who! WHY!!" she says. "Spike! Go after them! Make sure that they don't get into trouble!" Spike salutes "Yes Twilight!" He says courageously and runs out the door after the crusaders. While Twilight just sits there trying to figure out what exactly just happened.
**A Few Minutes Later**
**Sweet Apple Acres**
"Okay I'm here" says spike stopping next to Scootaloo panting from all the running. The three crusaders and Spike are standing in front of a large crater in the middle of the orchard. "What do you girls think it is." asks Scootaloo. "Ah'm not sure" replies Apple Bloom."But hopefully it comes in peace..."
"Yeah hopefully." Says Sweetie Belle nervously. There is some movement down in the hole the smoke from the impact not helping much in seeing what it is. Then it starts getting up but all they can see is the silhouette. it looks tall and has wings in the middle of its body the bottom half has what looks like a mushroom with feet and ontop it's head looks like it's wearing jacket and a mask.
The crusaders and Spike back up in fear and huddle close together. The creature looks like it's trying to balance but is not doing a very good job of it. "You guy's get off of me! You know a goombas head is very fragile" it says.
"Well sorry it's not my fault we fell like this! Now Sergeant Guy... GET THE HECK OFF OF MY HEAD!!!" It replies to itself but with a different voice. The crusaders and spike all scream at the same time the creature started yelling. It is at this moment the creature notices them and tries to walk towards them but fails and trips over a rock falling over and tumbling out of the smoke revealing it to be three creatures about as tall as the crusaders.
Private Goomp gets a good look around and at Spike, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo and his eyes go wide. "Men! We're not in mushroom kingdom anymore" He announces to the others.
"Who are you?" Apple Bloom asks.
