(Prologue)

Location: Canterlot Castle, Princess Celestia's Office
"Princess Celestia, General Shining Armor has an important Transmission." said the Princess’ Secretary. “Put him through," Replied her boss. The Secretary looked back onto her computer screen and said, “I’m putting him through, just a sec,". Within a few moments a projector in front of the secretary's table whirred to life as a purple light illuminated from it. She directed the light to an empty wall beside the princess' desk and an image of a white unicorn with a blue and cyan mane appeared on the wall. "Good afternoon Shining Armor," The princess greeted him, “Good afternoon to you to princess, although I may not call our situation this afternoon good," Shining Armor replied. "Why is that?” she replied. ”Well just an hour ago we received some information from our scouts that The Soviets, our old enemy, have been spotted near Manehattan, Mexicolt, Las Pegasus and the Camanedian border. Latest reports are that they are dropping troops over Ponyville.” The Princess was outraged; she immediately dropped her call with Shining Armor and called The Soviet Headquarters in Moscow
Location: Moscow, Soviet headquarters
“Hello? Premier Chrysalis here,” on just hearing her voice, Celestia felt cold shivers run down her spine, “Umm yeah, uh, hi there, this is Princess Celestia,” The following reply made Celestia’s anger level almost blow her up, “ Ah, Princess Celestia, did you like my little gift? It took me a whole decade preparing it,” Celestia replied with a somewhat humorous yet strong reply, “What, the decade old cheese you gave me last month or, the huge goddamned invasion you just threw at my country?” Chrysalis then replied, “Well, both,” Celestia then continued “Your cheese sucks, we immediately incinerated that thing right after you left, and buck you so much for this invasion right at our gates, okay, BUUUUUUUUUUUCK YOU!!!!!!!!” and with that Chrysalis just heard a slam, signaling the end of their unfriendly conversation. Right beside Chrysalis was her apprentice, Trixie, the blue unicorn got off her seat and trotted over to her where Chrysalis asked ,”is it done Trixie?” She just replied “No my comrade Premier it has only begun .”
Manehattan Madness Part 1
Chapter 1: Manehattan Madness Part 1
Mission 1: Lone guardian
Location: Manehattan, Allied Briefing Camp
Time: 1200 ET (Equestrian Time)
Situation: Allied Take-back Begins
Shining Armor got the go-ahead to launch their first counter attack against the soviets and, it starts with the return of Manehattan into Equestrian command. “Good morning Commander, it’s nice to finally meet you. Let me introduce myself, my name is Miamore Cadenza, or you can call me Cadance, for short. I will be your special ops for this mission.” Cadance introduced herself to the commander via video call. Cadance was tying sticks of dynamite together for use on the mission. After a few more sticks of TNT strapped together she was ready to depart on her mission.
She stepped out of the tent engulfing an earpiece with her aura and putting it in her ear, “Test, test, 1, 2, check. Hey commander can you hear me?” Cadance asked she received a reply from the earpiece saying, “Loud and clear Cadance you may precede with the mission at hoof.” Cadance just nodded and started.
Cadance reached an area where she could see four ships, launching missiles at the Statue of Liberty. Given to them by the Prench (French) after they separated from the Britails (British) over a hundred years ago; luckily those missiles were harmlessly being neutralized by patriot missile launchers taking them out as they come. Cadance dived into the water snout first and heading for the first ship, she levitated a dynamite charge and armed it. When she arrived she flung it over and detonated the charge, sending everypony in the ship down to their doom. Cadance then turned her attention to the second ship right beside her, she flung a charge into the ship and it sunk just after the charge detonated.
After the ship sank, Cadance heard something coming from her earpiece saying, “Congratulations Cadance, you have been promoted.” “Great!” she said back. She turned her attention to the next ship and continued swimming. Just under the lowered anchor, she climbed on to the chain, treating it as a rope to get her up. When she was in she drew her pistol, neatly holstered on her belt, it came off easily. Holding it up neatly with her aura, Cadance flipped off the safety switch and positioned it in front of her. Cadance was supposed to use the ship’s missiles to sink itself, as she was running low on dynamite charges, “great, don’t pack your TNT and you’ll be forced to use whatever explosives you could get your hooves on.” Cadance thought to herself. As she made her way through the ships interior, she constantly finds herself using a round or two to kill off anypony that comes in her way.
After an hour or so inside, she finally finds the ammunition storage room, it was filled with explosives, TNT, ANFO, and some other type she could not recognize. She finds some wire and hooks it up to a loose battery she found lying around. Fortunately for her she found a porthole in the room and she would use it to make a quick escape when she had to, and she would because after hooking up the wires to the explosives, she quickly jumped out of the window and detonated it with her aura as she went. When Cadance hit the water all she heard was a loud explosion and, she splashing into the cold water of the Manehattan River.
Just as she landed she once again heard the earpiece saying, “Congratulations, you have been promoted.” Cadance ignored this just as she started to the last ship, ‘Last one, luckily I’m also on my last charge, maybe they have some extra TNT when I get to Fort Braidley’ she thought as she continued swimming to the ship. Cadance flung the last charge over the ship’s railings and it exploded, sinking the statue’s last attacker. Cadance made her way towards the shore and to her disappointment she saw two transport vessels heading to the docks, luckily the defenders of the statue were eager enough to help her fight against the oncoming troops.
Cadance drew her gun aiming at the conscript’s face; her aim was true, as she pulled the trigger, the unlucky stallion dropped dead on the landing. The rest of the conscripts rushed out only to be killed by the oncoming barrage of bullets sent by the Equestrian G.I.s. Unknown to the soldiers, a missile was launched towards the statue sending it to the ground, and Cadance only saw a fallen figure when she turned around. Her earpiece received some unknown static causing her to drop them, when she picked it back up, it was saying something, “Surrender now Allies, and you have not a chance against us Soviets. Look we can make a deal, you surrender and we give you another statue or keep on fighting and loose every one of your valuable monuments, the choice is yours.” The message ended with the soviet anthem playing. The song was cut halfway by the sudden EMP wave going across the city; the troops by the docks were all forced to use their regular sight as the EMP wave wiped out all the electronics that they had, fortunately the communication link to HQ was not severed by the EMP and all command was still okay. They started making their way towards the main city.

Mission 1: Lone guardian
After witnessing the death of two unfortunate G.I.s, Cadance continued on onto the city. Noticing that the next para-drop of Soviet troops is getting near, Cadance and the G.Is positioned them on the parking lot, preparing themselves for the arrival of their unwanted guests. As the Soviet Ponies came closer to the ground, Cadance and her squad of troops opened fire, releasing a hail of bullets aimed at the unfortunate Conscripts’ heads and torsos.
As the corpses of the dead ponies dropped onto the ground, Cadance got an order from The Commander through her earpiece, “Cadance,” The Commander started, ”Go to the far north-eastern end of the city, you can find a few friends of mine to help you.” Cadance replied, “Roger, that commander”, with some enthusiasm in her voice. She navigated through the urban jungle until she found herself near the north-eastern boundary of Manehattan. And sure enough she found three Grizzly tanks waiting for her orders; they made their way southbound towards the Fort, when they made it there they were greeted by other G.Is, desperately waiting for orders. Cadance told them to guard the parking lot with the others. Just then a tank commander got out of his tank and went up to Cadance, “I was the one who activated the EMP, just so you know. Same thing happened in Long Isle, everypony was mind controlled; we apparently were listening to some heavy metal when the message hit and we weren’t affected, we escaped the next day.” Cadance just nodded and thanked them for the assist.
As Cadance assessed her supplies and remembered that she was out of explosive charges, she asked one of the guards if they got any sticks of dynamite lying around. They were out but when the get their barracks set up they would receive a supply of ammo and explosives via chrono shift, Cadance had no choice but to help finish the barracks. Brick by brick the barracks came together and sure enough when the barracks was finished the first shipment of supplies, Cadance was surprised at how many bundles of TNT the commander sent them, there was also a teleporter to send in G.Is and other infantry. The ‘Troop Teleporter’ as they called it whirred to life, taking Cadance by surprise, when an engineer came out, “Where’s the bridge?” he asked, Cadance pointed a hoof to the repair hut south of the fort, and the unicorn engineer trotted towards the repair hut.
Inside he found a panel and the schematics for the broken bridge up ahead, meanwhile Cadance received her next set of instructions, “Cadance,” the still-unnamed commander said, “You must destroy the Soviet Supply base at the other side of the bridge that engineer is currently repairing. Like my surprise? Those three tanks would be very useful, don’t you think? When the base is destroyed radio in, we will send in a transport to fetch you. Don’t forget, the in-flight movies are really AWESOME!” Cadance grunted when she heard the commander say ‘awesome’ but ignored the thought as she started trotting behind the tanks as they made their way across the repaired bridge.
On the other side of the bridge, the three tanks started discharging their payload, explosions everywhere, ponies bravely standing up to them only to be squished by the iron tracks of the Grizzlies, Tan- I mean Cadance on the other hand was getting into the buildings and setting the charges, and blowing them up as she got out, and thanks to the shipment of explosives she received, she can now freely waste her charges on the thicker buildings and not plan out where the weakest point was. And it came to the last one, the Tesla reactor. The other tanks were still busy dealing with the remaining conscripts so Cadance decided to help them out and let them take out the last building. With her next shot, the last remaining conscript dropped dead on the pavement, “Why don’t you have the honor of taking out the last building since you took out most of the defenses?” she said, the tank commander popped his head out and gave Cadance a stern nod, they got to their tanks and drove towards the last building and fired, the reactor exploded leaving a mushroom cloud where it once stood.
Cadance radioed in the victory and about five minutes later, a night-hawk transport came in and gave Cadance one of the most surprising moments of her wartime career, “Hello Cadance,” the commander said, “it’s nice to finally meet you, I’m Commander Dash by the way, Commander RAINBOW Dash…”

Good morning Commander Dash, your success at Manehattan has impressed your superiors; they have now granted you with more responsibility as to let you lead the next mission in Coltorado Springs. Your mission is to re-capture the Royal Air Force Chapel which unfortunately fell into the hands of the Soviets; their commanders are Generals Flim and Flam who have set up a secure perimeter of the area.
You will be in charge of a small group of troops lead by Cadance as with the first mission. Unfortunately she accidentally broke her wing a few days ago in a training accident, so she can’t fly on this one, and apparently it would be the same for the next few missions she would be doing. Back at the situation at hand, Flim and Flam, as I have told you have a very tight grip on Coltorado as it is the center of the Soviet stranglehold on Northern Equestria, taking it out will prevent the Soviets from any future attacks in the Coltorado area.
Once you have liberated the Royal Air Force Chapel, your next objective is to eliminate all Soviet personnel in the area. They have also setup a base nearby, we have given you two options: One is, you destroy them stopping all Soviet attacks towards Coltorado, and the other, you capture it the information stored within the buildings itself may give us an insight to what they are planning.
It’s now all in your hands Commander Dash, Lieutenant Fluttershy out.
Location: Allied Briefing Camp
Time: 1400 ET (Equestrian Time)
Situation: Coltorado take-back begins.
“Hey Commander,” Cadance began, “yeah, about my wing,” she started to elaborate, but Rainbow interrupted, “Never mind about that Cadance,” Rainbow said in a somewhat consoling voice, “just continue with the mission.”. Cadance just accepted the fact that she could not fly for now. “Okay Cadance head to the base, approach them from the south going through the water, take out the guard and destroy the flak canons to signal the plane to drop in the engineers.
Cadance executed the plan with ease, sending the engineers in right after she took out the anti-air guns. All the buildings were liberated and Cadance was given her next objective, “Good now you must eliminate all Soviet personnel in the area.” Cadance felt a tap on her neck and turned around, a young orange Pegasus was trying to get her attention, and she sure did get it. Cadance took a good look at her and she saw some blood down her wings, “What’s that?” Cadance asked, the filly replied “Those ‘meanies’ did this to me!” she cried, “They clipped my wings, and now I can’t fly!” Cadance took pity on her and tried to send in a medic. Unfortunately Cadance had forgotten that the Sentry Guns, which were guarding the base, were still active. She sent in a group of pegusai with high powered jet boosters on their wings to take them out. The winged pegusai took out the remaining defenses with ease, earning one of them a heroic status.
The medic came over and examined the foal’s injured wings, “Sorry little fella’” the medic said wrapping a bandage over the injury, “you may never be able to fly again.” Cadance watched as a waterfall of tears started pouring from the filly’s eyes, “There, there, now,” Cadance consoled her, “it’s okay, the same thing happened to me and now I’m grounded just as you. Well come on now let me take you home; your parent’s may be worried about you. By the way what’s your name?” Cadance ended on a high note hoping that it would cheer the little one up but it did nothing except to worsen her mood. “What’s wrong?” Cadance asked, “My parents died yesterday when a bomb blew out part of my house, soldiers came in and captured me, they put me in a cell and clipped my wings.”
She cried even louder and as the medic saw Cadance release a tear, he went out so as to not disturb them. Minutes later Cadance came out with the foal in her arms, “Colts,” Cadance announced, “call me a chopper, we need to send poor little Scootaloo here to the nearest hospital, I think her injury is getting worse. She can’t last long in this cold.” Cadance put her in a seemingly clean bunk at the sickbay at the barracks and continued with the mission. “Shoot anything wearing the Soviet emblem. You saw right there their brutality and inponymality. They must be sopped at all costs!” before she could say anything else, her earpiece went online, “What’s with the holdup!!” she heard Commander Dash’s went, “I’ve been waiting for over five hours now and I haven’t heard a word from you.” Cadance replied “sorry we’ll get on with the mission.”
Cadance then gave her next order, “Get me as many tanks as you can!” When she gave the order, around 10 Grizzly Tanks rolled out of the war factory and a few hours later, even more came out. When she had around a couple hundred (RA2 Physics) approximately around 300 tanks, she sent fifty tanks north to scout and the rest to the base situated to the east.
The battle was quite easy, despite loosing around fifty tanks in the first few minutes, but the GIGANTIC, I really mean gigantic force of the allies pummeled the enemy lines until the construction yard was the only one left. Cadance managed to spare the last building so that the engineer could capture it. When the engineer entered, the building was transferred into allied hands and Cadance’s earpiece said, “Mission accomplished”
As Lieutenant Fluttershy said, there were battle plans stored there, but what intrigued them the most were the schematics for a mysterious device called a Psychic Beacon with one word scribbled onto it and the word was “ Canterlot ”
