Equestria Girls In Disguise: Ghosts Of Our Past
Tramautized
Previous ChapterNext ChapterWe now return to the Transformers...
The end of the school day had came, and the students were seen leaving the front entrance of the school, many with smiles on their faces. They were excited for the weekend, and more importantly, Fluttershy was excited to begin her quiet and calming nature weekend with Bumblebee.
"So do you know what you're gonna do when you bring him there?" Rainbow asked.
"I'm not even sure where to begin. Everything at the Everfree forest is just so amazing, I don't even now where to start," Fluttershy said.
"Maybe you should start with lunch first, I know there's a picnic ground there," Sunset replied.
The girls made another turn around going to the parking lot where their Autobot guardians were waiting for them. But Fluttershy noticed something weird. She thought she was looking at Bumblebee, but the old buggy car was colored in... gold.
"Bumblebee?" Fluttershy asked.
"Uh, yeah, hey Fluttershy, I'm here," the gold car said.
The other girls just chuckled. Instantly they knew who this car was.
"Goldbug, you're not fooling us. We know you're there, where's Bumblebee?" Sunset asked.
The gold colored car transformed revealed it wasn't Bumblebee at all. Instead it was Bumblebee's younger brother, Goldbug. Once a Throttlebot ally, then a member of Pipe's crew, and now ally here on Earth.
"Goldbug? How come you're here?" Fluttershy asked.
Goldbug took a knee down so he could get a better look to Fluttershy, and so he could hear her better.
"I'm afraid Bumblebee's kind of... well, out of commission," Goldbug said.
"What do you mean? Is he hurt?" Fluttershy said worryingly.
Goldbug shook his head no, "No he's not hurt... physically. But I think something that he just came across today traumatized him."
Twilight tilted her head, "What do you mean?"
"When you girls went inside the school, Bumblebee and some of the others chased someone out of the parking lot, and from what Bumblebee's told me, he just met a Decepticon fugitive. Someone from back on Cybertron, not any of the bots that escaped from the battlefield a couple of weeks ago," Goldbug said. "Let me tell you, I'm worried for him. I've never seen my big brother this shaken up."
"Did he tell you who it was?" Fluttershy asked.
Goldbug nodded, "He did, but I think it would be better if you heard from Bumblebee directly, instead of his brother. I can take you to him."
"Please do," Fluttershy said.
Goldbug hit the side of his ear, "Ratchet. We're gonna need a Groundbridge." Goldbug immediately transformed back into vehicle mode and opened up a car door for Fluttershy.
Once Fluttershy unloaded her stuff, she sat in the driver seat and buckled herself in. Goldbug closed the car doors, and pulled out of the parking lot, getting ready to drive. The rest of the girls and the Autobots followed as well, and they pulled out onto the road and began going straight.
Soon a green portal opened up, and the Autobots drove on through the glowing gateway.
Once they made it to the other side, Fluttershy stepped out of Goldbug, and allowed him to transform into robot mode. Both of them were greeted by Bumblebee who still looked stressed to the bone.
"Bumblebee?" Fluttershy quivered.
Bumblebee slowly moved forward and Fluttershy pulled him in for a hug.
"Bumblebee, what happened?" Fluttershy asked.
Bumblebee sighed, "Fluttershy, I'm afraid there's some things that I haven't told you about. Things that happened back on Cybertron, that I never told you."
Bumblebee was about to speak, but then he looked back up to see Goldbug and the other girls standing around. He didn't want to talk about this in front of anyone.
"Uh guys? Can I please talk with Fluttershy alone?" Bumblebee asked.
"Of course Bee. Come on guys, you can tell me how your day went over in the lounge room," Goldbug said, urging the girls to walk away to give the pink-haired girl and the small Autobot some privacy.
Bumblebee sighed, and he took a seat on the ground, against a wall. Fluttershy moved as well and sat next to Bumblebee.
"Okay, I think its time I told you about who I saw. He is, or was one of the only Autobots that I made a friend with back at Autobot boot camp on Cybertron. He and Hound were my only friends at that camp. Wasp was pretty quiet most of the time, and I saw why. He has some... uh... interesting speech patterns. Kind of like the Dinobots," Bumblebee began.
Fluttershy nodded, "Please continue. What was his name?"
"His name's Wasp. But, maybe I should begin when I first met him..."
Many years ago, on a much more lively and cleaner Cybertron, Bumblebee walked through one of the barracks in the camp, going to his locker. But he stopped when he heard some bots chuckling. And it sounded like they were laughing at someone.
Bumblebee turned around and saw some of them pointing and laughing at one bot in particular. One that shared Bumblebee's protoform mold, but colored green and had a different helmet.
"Leave Wasp alone!" The green bot yelled.
"Why are you even on this camp? You can't even speak right!" An Autobot retorted.
"No bot should be here if they keep sounding like they're drunk!"
Bumblebee growled. This had gone far enough.
The yellow Autobot stomped over to where they stood and interrupted.
"Hey! Leave him alone!" Bumblebee yelled.
The Autobots turned around, and huffed.
"You against us?" An Autobot snickered.
"No that would be me, Pointblank," Another voice interrupted.
Their eyes turned to see a bigger Autobot enter in, colored in green, with a rocket launcher mounted on his shoulder, and a grill on the front of his chest.
"Oh, uh... Hound, uh, what's up?" Pointblank stammered.
"If you want to survive, leave that bot alone. Now..."
The other Autobots just snarled and muttered something incomphrenisble as they walked away from the smaller Autobot. They didn't want their fun to be ruined, but they didn't want to mess with a bot like Hound. No one, messed with Hound.
Bumblebee looked back at Hound giving a thankful nod, and Hound exchanged one back just before walking out of the barracks. Seeing that no one else was there, Bumblebee approached the smaller green Autobot roughly around his size.
"Hey, you okay?" Bumblebee asked.
The Autobot looked back at Bumblebee, "Why Autobots no leave Wasp alone? Wasp not do anything..."
"I know. I don't think its fair that they were treating you like that. But... just out of curiosity, how come you talk like that?" Bumblebee hesitated.
The Autobot sighed, "Wasp was born like this. While Wasp's speech may not sound intelligent, Wasp let off more intelligence than Autobots think."
Bumblebee nodded, "I know how you feel there. Everyone keeps saying that about the Dinobots, but yet they've still got brains."
Wasp just looked away, heavy pain in his eyes. Until he saw a hand pat his shoulder. He looked back and saw Bumblebee giving a friendly smile.
"Hey, don't listen to those other bots. I know you've got skill. Wait, what's your name again?" Bumblebee asked.
"Wasp," Wasp said.
"Oh, right. Sorry, just wanted clarification. I'm Bumblebee. And if you need someone to watch your back from them, I'm willing to lend you a hand," Bumblebee said.
Wasp's pink eyes widened a bit, "Bumblebot... friend?"
Bumblebee gave a warm smile, "Yes. Friend."
Wasp gave somewhat of an embarassed smile, "Wasp never had friends before..."
"Really? Never?"
Wasp shook his head saying no. Bumblebee gave Wasp a smypathetic look on his face, but eventually it came to a warm and welcoming smile.
"Well you've got me now. Don't worry about being alone, I've got your back. What do you say I give you a hand with target practice? I could use a buddy to hang out with," Bumblebee offered.
Wasp pondered Bumblebee's thought for a moment, and eventually gave a nod in response saying yes, along with a friendly face. Bumblebee grinned and the two Autobots exited out of the barracks, heading out to the practice field.
What a stroke of luck. I made a new friend...
"That's where I met Wasp. At first, we got along pretty well. And after a while, the two of us hung out some more and we got better accquainted. However... all of that changed. With the help of one of the bots at the camp, Volks, I found out Wasp was... was..." Bumblebee stammered. He couldn't even bring himself to say it.
"A Decepticon spy?" Fluttershy asked.
Bumblebee nodded somberly, "Someone I trusted, with my own life. A Decepticon spy. I... I couldn't even speak to him after I found out. Soon after Volks handed in the evidence, Wasp was dragged off to the Cybertronian stockade. I didn't want to face him after that, I couldn't face him after that. I couldn't handle the grief of knowing that. So... I handed in my registration, and I quit the boot camp. Eventually I found out that Optimus Prime was looking for some new bots to form a new team to search for some more energy sources. And that's how I ended up with them."
Fluttershy patted Bumblebee's shoulder, and leaned in close, trying to give him comfort. Bumblebee moved closer and Fluttershy allowed Bumblebee to give her a hug. He needed it.
"Its okay..." Fluttershy cooed.
Sunset and the girls watched from far away as Fluttershy comforted Bumblebee. On one hand they were relieved that Fluttershy was there that she was staying and providing comfort to her friend, but on another hand Bumblebee was completely stressed out of his mind. He had never looked this traumatized before, and the Autobots never saw that state from him. He looked like he desperately needed a hug.
"Poor darling..." Rarity said.
"We got to do something to get his mind off of Wasp," Applejack said.
"I believe there is mates," an Australian voice said.
Their heads turned to see Outback, one of Pipe's crew members, and Beachcomber, one of the soldiers that volunteered to join Optimus's crew aboard the Ark.
"What Bumblebee needs is time away from the battlefield, and a little trip down to someplace relaxing," Beachcomber said.
"In other words, we're probably gonna extend that nature trip we're taking him on. He needs it," Outback said.
"But what about Wasp? He's still running around along with several other Decepticon criminals," Ironhide boomed.
"You have every right to be worried Ironhide. But Outback has a point. I think Bumblebee needs some time away from the battlefield. Beachcomber, Outback, you said you were planning on going with them to the Everfree forest?"
"Along with Sunny Flare and Lemon Zest," Outback replied.
"Then I suggest you two keep Bumblebee safe, in case Wasp ever shows up there," Optimus said.
The two mini-bots gave salutes, "Sir yes sir!"
"And hey, if they're going, maybe I should too. In case they're far away, and they need someone with a stronger radio system," Blaster said off the side.
Optimus nodded, "Very well Blaster. Then if you three are going with them, I want you to keep an eye out in case Wasp shows up, and try to keep Bumblebee safe. From what he's described about Wasp's power, he might possess capabilities that we haven't seen yet."
"Alright, so what are we waiting for? We've got a weekend of nature and sunshine awaiting us!" Blaster cheered.
The day changed to night as time went on, and the night sky was completely cloudless. It glittered and gleamed with the lights of faraway stars. And in the night sky, a full moon was cast, illuminating above.
In the Everfree forest, just outside of the camp grounds, it was completely quiet. Only the sounds of crickets and the night owls could be heard in the big and peaceful forest.
But the peace and quiet quickly faded away when the sound of a roaring vehicle came to the parking spaces that had been marked for those coming to the Everfree forest. But this wasn't like any standard Earth vehicle. This vehicle that pulled itself into the area was a futuristic looking car. A Cybertronian car.
It transformed, revealing a green Cybertronian with a scratched out mark on his chest, along with a set of pink eyes. The robot surveyed the area around him, checking to see if anyone was around him. All clear. Perfect. He soon began descending into the dark forest by himself, still making sure no one was following him.
But what he didn't realize was that the same green car that Bumblebee was chasing earlier in the day pulled up into the parking lot as well. But it didn't transform. It just stood there, silently. Not moving a muscle or tire. It just... watched, all the while its engine kept running as it sat there, but its lights were turned off to avoid being seen.
Wasp looked around at the nature around him, all peaceful and quiet. A perfect place to hang out for the meantime. But it wouldn't make a home for long, he had plans for while he was on Earth.
"File..." Wasp muttered as he opened up a compartment on his back, and pulled out a small data chip that cold easily be held in between his thumb and finger.
"Yes! Wasp still have it..." Wasp said.
But a sound of a twig snapping made him stop, and he bolted around looking behind to see if someone followed him. There wasn't. So Wasp just shrugged and continued to walk.
Wasp continued to walk around in the forest, still walking in his Cybertronian form, looking at the nature sights around him. It was pretty relaxing, and it was very calm.
Little did he know that someone out in the forest had been watching him. Someone had been watching in descend and talk to himself, trying to move his way through the forest. And whoever the figure was, it kept on moving fast and quick in the forest, trying to avoid being seen.
Wasp past some more trees, but froze when he heard a whoosh sound go on by right past him. He looked around, and moved a few steps back.
"Who's there? Wasp not afraid of anyone!" Wasp yelled.
His hand transformed into a weapon, a half of what appeared to be a drill, but it was actually a zapping weapon. It began to surge with electricity, and he held it in front of him, keeping himself ready to zap anyone or anything that obviously stood as a threat.
Wasp moved forward at a steady pace, still keeping the weapon extended out and held in front of him ready to zap anyone that stood in his way. He didn't want to take any chances.
As he kept looking around and listening for a sound, a very strange sound hit his audio censors. Another whoosh sound filled the air, and the sound of... hissing? It sounded like something was hissing at him, but he wasn't sure what. What would be around here to do that?
Wasp made another turn around to try and locate the source, but nothing was seen.
"Wasp cannot be alone. Wasp know he not alone, how can-AGH!!!!!" Wasp screamed.
A big electric zap hit him from behind, and he fell to the ground on his chest, with his face planting right into the dirt. And hovering above his fallen body cast a dark and strange shadow, which possessed a strange shape. The only distinct feature that was ever seen, were a pair of glaring red eyes that illuminated in the darkness and chuckled to himself.
"I can't allow you to win this easily Wasp. And now, the one you called your friend before shall perish..."
The Transformers will return after these messages...
Author's Note
Okay so things are kicking up now. Hopefully things will become a little more interesting.
But part of me is also unsure of how long this fic will be, but it probably won't be at the length of the first episode: Gallows of CHS.
As always, please leave comments! I love to read your comments!
