'Scoots is perfect.' I think to myself as I sit on the sofa cuddling with my wife.

Scoots is resting her head on my chest as she lightly squeaks in a light snore. A tear streaks down her cheek. I start to stroke her head gently, she stops crying and starts to rub her head against my chest.

"Beautiful." I chuckles as I lightly place a kiss on her forehead.

'Please save me'

Scoots ears flop over her eyes as a blush covers her cheek.

'Wait a minute.... I think Oestericus fucked up.... She's just like the ponies here.... She isn't an animal.... Well she is but.... But she's sentient she just can't talk! I... I'm fine with this.... She's sentient.... She knows what's happening....'

I smile as I finally accept that she isn't just an animal. The same way the ponies here aren't animals. She may not talk but she's just like a mare. I gently rest my hand on the top of her head. Her right ear raises up so she can look at me, which she closes the instant she notices I'm looking back at her. She then uses her forelegs to cover her face as she lightly squeaks into her hooves.

I blush a little at this adorable display.

The movie had stopped a few minutes ago but I was to busy thinking about my situation.

"Hey Scoots?" I ask causing her to peek through her forelegs at me. "Wanna watch another movie?"

She climbs off of the couch and starts to quickly shake her head.

"Which one do you want to watch?" I ask as I stand up and walk towards a tall bookcase filled with Blu-rays, DVD's and VHS tapes.

She walks towards the bookcase and starts to look through them. After a few minutes she finds a movie she likes the look of. She picks up a DVD case and walks over to me with it in her mouth.

"You want to watch Titanic?" I ask.

She nods quickly and does a little dance, hopping from hoof to hoof with a smile on her face.

"You go get comfortable and I'll put the movie in." I say as I bend over and press the eject button on the DVD player.

I can hear her skipping towards the sofa.

I take out the movie we finished watching and put it in it's case, then place Titanic into the DVD player. I stand up and turn around. On the couch Scoots is laid on her side, she winks at me. Immediately afterwards she squeaks then hides behind her forehooves.

I chuckle as I walk towards the couch. As I arrive at the couch she pokes her head out from between her forehooves. As she does this I place a kiss onto her nose. Causing her to flail her legs around and fall off of the couch.

"What's wrong Scoots? What's got you so nervous?" I ask as I crouch down to her.

She looks around the room as if trying to find anything to distract herself. When she can't find anything she sighs then looks towards me and points at me with a hoof.

"Me? What could I have.... Oh.... I know. Scoots. I was in a weird place earlier. Where I'm from Deer are.... What's the best word for it?.... Unintelligent? Yeah, that's the word. You shattered what I thought of deer. Don't get me wrong they're beautiful creatures. But not beautiful as I'd find them attractive. They had no personality.... No.... Intelligence.... But you.... I look at you and my heart thumps.... I look at you and I can't help but smile. You may be a deer but you're not one of the deer I remember. You have a beautiful personality.... You're intelligence.... You may not be able to talk. But there are humans where I'm from who can't talk but they still get love. Scoots.... I want to be with you.... I'm not confused anymore.... I love you Scoots.... Just because you're not human. It means nothing to me anymore now that I know more about you. I fell in love with Scootaloo. She's not human but she's sentient.... Just like you.... Scoots.... Will you give me another chance? To love you? To show you how I really feel?" I ask. "If I'd have said that where I'm from I'd have been arrested.... *chuckle* Scoots..... To me. You're worth prison. But luckily we're here. We don't have to worry about it." lower onto my knees. "Scoots.... Will you love me? One more time?"

Tears build up in her eyes. She springs to her hooves and jumps towards me. I throw my arms out making sure to catch her. She sits in my arms in the princess position. She looks at me with teary eyes then plants a passionate kiss onto my lips. I smile before closing my eyes and start to kiss her back.

A full minute later our lips part.

"I'll *pant* take that as a yes. *Chuckle*. I love you Scoots. Now let's watch that movie you wanted to watch." I say as I wipe away her tears.

She nods then nuzzles against my chin.

I carry her towards the sofa laying down with her still in my arms curled into a ball on my chest. She lightly places a kiss on my cheek then blushes and hides behind her hooves. I chuckle and stroke her head.
