Shining's Rise To Power - Two Sister's Banished

I awoke in the library Twilight looking at me fearful.

“Princess he is fine I assure you he passed.” I stood up and that’s when I revelled them she looked on with amusement…

“You have wings… we can fly together now!”

“Yes Twi we can but first…” before I could finish we heard a bang outside rushing to the window we saw both princesses shattering the windows near my chambers

“My foals!”

“Mum! Dad!” Grabbing the book I blew a hole into the library wall destroying a few shelfs and scaring the librarian. I then took flight without a though flying straight for my chambers. Twilight following suit. “You’re a natural!”

“No just practise while with Darkice…” Flying straight for my chambers I shot a beam and destroyed the room next to my chambers we flew in and landed. We both ran out of the destroyed room and to my chambers… I unlocked the doors. Again clever foals for using the family lock… “Come on we need to go! NOW!” I screamed twilight grabbing our parents in her magic and me grabbing you. Twilight out the room we came in you fly Mum and Dad I will deal with my foals.”

“Got it!” Mum and Dad looked at me strange but when we heard another smash ran with Twi. I grabbed you and took of again out of the destroyed room your siblings taking flight straight after… “Twi to the library. We need a plan and I need practise!”

Landing in the library I opened the book scrolling through as my mother, father and your siblings looked at me confused. “Darkice what was that spell those changes a talent?”

“Here shine its here…” The book hovered again flicking through until it came to the spell… “It’s permanent?”

“Only to dead ponies you take the talent from… Banished you can give it back if need be but otherwise it permanent…” after watching me dad spoke up…

“Son, what are you doing and why do you look like that…?”

“Twi can you explain and tell him exactly what Darkice said while I get Darkice to help me?”

“Okay… but how?”

“Darkice will take me back to where I went before, I need to practise if I have any chance of beating those lunatics and don’t worry I will place a shield on this library so they can’t get it and it will be unbreakable as I can reinforce it in the other world…”

“Got it.”

I called to Darkice and gave each of my foals a hug I placed the shield up and everything went black.

“I wasn’t expecting you back that quick…” Darkice said as he walked with purpose towards me. He wrapped his wing around my back I did the same back tucking my neck neatly under his taking the embrace in. I enjoyed this hug it showed he cared he wasn’t just some dead evil essence. He cared greatly for the creatures great and small who walked the world he once did. We a parted and he walked away in a direction I had never seen. It looked the same but there was no arch. He gestured with his wing to follow immediately returning them to his sides. I did following close next to him but my wings stretched wide. I was proud of my wings. I had always wanted a pair and I could now finally experience flight like my foals and the rest of my family apart from my parents.

“I didn’t expect the 2 lunatics to come looking for us! I guess after killing 2 elements now they want the rest! And there still fighting each other in the process its madness!”

“Well we better make good use of your time here I know your shield is powerful but you can only hold them off for so long and can only stay here for a short time at a time.” We walled though an arch and into an arena. “This is where the next hour to 1 ½ of your time will be spent. I want you to attack me with everything you have! GET ME TO SURRENEDER! Chase me! Fight me! Hurt me! I don’t care I want you to get me to the floor and helpless! BTW you can’t hurt me and I’m just going to be trying to get away or fake hitting you if I hit you a red spot will appear on you if it’s in a fatal area you started again. GOT IT!”

“YES LOSER!” I taunted. He looked dead serious then smiled.

“I’m a loser am I?"

“YES!”

“Then this should be easy for you! COME ON!”

With that he flew in to the air as fast a lighting blot. I shot at him and he dodged. I did this a few times before I realised I was going to have to chase him. I lifted off steadily and got hit with a blot. Darkice landed.

“Now who’s the LOSER!” on my chest was a red spot if it had been a real shot it would have killed me near instantly!

“SHIT!”

“Hey, I was expecting to have to help you eventually… you’re taking off far to slow… Where’s that lightning speed when you took off earlier? When you rescued your family?”

“But I needed to be quick to save them…”

“Okay so flying is a problem for gets the flying for a minute. Come on get me!”

Conjuring a spell within seconds he was crystallised still. I walked over slow and painful smirking at him. He looked at me amazed. “Surrender?”

Mmm mmmm mmmm mmm!

“I thought so…” I took off the spell.

“Woah where did you learn that… Cadence…”

“Nice well No spell lessons needed although you may want to read a few dark spell books to keep the sisters confused… I will pick you some out when we get back. But for now you need to work on your flying.”

The whole time we were there I was chasing him around the arena. Tackling him to the ground from the air. Taking off quickly and landing soft and quick. We raced until I was faster than him. I took off faster than him. I even managed to beat him with the tackles over and over.

“Final test! Make me surrender!”

“YE- OW!” My head suddenly felt like it was splitting in half. “Th…e Shileddd.” I summoned all my power my vison going blue. I poured every little piece of magic into casting the shield. Once done I collapsed.

“You okay?” Darkice voice filled with worry and concern.

“Yeah the shield nearly fell I have to get back there NOW!”

“Of course we don’t have to walk back I can cast it here I will see you in the library.”

I open my eyes to the library entrance and exit being battered in. Both princesses heading for the shield I added the power needed and protected us from the blows. I then grabbed every spell book with in my sight and teleported us all out of there.

We arrived in the small cottage me and cadence had for our honeymoon. With the changeling attack we didn’t leave Canterlot. The cottage was right on the cliff side looking out of the window the river the waterfall was running from ran right though the garden with a little bridge going over now there was bodies and limbs over it. I let everyone get their bearings and told them the plan. I would have like that final test that Darkice was going to give me but I had him with us so it should be okay...

I would need Twilight and twilight alone. Everyone else was to stay here… My mother and father were going to look after you 3. Twilight and I went to deal with this. Twilight would distract and try to take down one of the sisters while I banished the other… I wanted to kill them but then again I wanted to know my they would do this! As the last 2 remaining royal family we decided together that they were to be banished. We said goodbye to our loved ones, I grabbed Darkice's book and flew out of the cottage into the heart of Canterlot to end this horrible chapter in equestrian history!
