the alternate dimension

Twilight, and spike were sitting in the living room of the crystal castle, when a note from Celestia beeped out of spike's mouth.

“The princess needs our help, something about an alien appearing in her room.” Spike said.

“What what!?” Twilight said shocked before her mane started to become frizzled.

“Great.” Spike sighed when twilight teleported him and herself to canterlot, the other elements already there waiting.

“Ah dear twilight.” Celestia said smiling softly.

“Where's the alien?” Twilight asked.

“Right here.” A voice said. They all looked to see a bipedal hairless monkey, it was wearing a white jacket, light blue pants, and a watch that was white.

“Incredible.” Twilight said as she got closer, a yellow light went over her before Celestia could warn her.

“The same thing happened to me.” Celestia said.

“I told you it was nothing, it just scanned your DNA.” It said.

“Scanned our DNA?” Twilight asked.

“This device is called an Omnitrix, it collects DNA and uses the DNA to let me transform into the same species.” It said.

“T-thats incredible.” Twilight said shocked. “So now you can turn Into an alicorn and a unicorn?”

“Yup.” He said, well twilight was assuming it was a he.

“Hi I'm Pinkie pie!” Pinkie said popping into existence in front of his face as the yellow light went over her as well.

“And now an earth pony.” He said.

“So how did you end up in the Princess's bed room?” Rainbow dash said getting in his face glaring, the light passing over her.

He sighed and explained what happened at the convention and that he just woke up in the Princess's bed room. “And that's it, I'm a big fan of Ben ten so I know how to use the Omnitrix, but from what I've seen I only have four scans right now.”

“The four pony scans.” Twilight said obviously.

“Yup.” He said.

“And what is thy name?” Luna asked.

“Dillan.” It said.

“We have news from the guards.” Luna said as some royal guards brought in something Dillan recognized.

No!” He yelled surprising everyone. “The arms of Armageddon!!” He yelled as a guard reached out a hoof, before Dillan could stop him his hoof had to he'd the device and his magic was sucked out of him opening a strange portal.

“This is bad!” Dillan yelled as what looked like a small child came through, a knife held in their left hand, a light green and tan striped sweater on, with brown shorts and shoes.

They tilted their head curiously, their brown hair in a sort of grown out bowl cut, though it didn’t quite reach their shoulders yet. The child also had a slightly disturbing smile on their face as they looked around, two pink circles on their cheeks.

“Huh.” Dillan said confused. “Usually it brings Eon.” He said as a bolt of magic hit his Omnitrix from the hands of Armageddon and a bipedal creature popped up. “Fuck!!!”

“Greetings.” The child said, amused, looking around passively at the proceedings.

“Hello.” Dillan said as all the ponies looked scared. “Don't mind them, this is all pretty new to them, the only reason I'm not freaking out is because I already figured the multiverse was real so meh.”

“You should probably be scared.” The child said casually.

“Probably, people say I'm not too smart.” Dillan shrugged. “I'm Dillan, and you are?”

“My name is Chara.” The child said, brandishing their knife. “And I know what I was displaced as… which means, if I want to live, I’m going to need some HATE…”

“Well… I hate the one that sent me here.” Dillan said as his mood grew dark and he muttered. “Asshole.”

Chara blinked, lowering their knife as they walked over to Dillan, putting a hand on his shoulder, a black substance moving from his shoulder and into them. “This will suffice.” Chara said. “For a while.”

“Well I have plenty of hate for him, and for anyone that threatens those I care about. And in a world like this I have a feeling that'll happen a lot… also what's a displaced?” Dillan asked.

“Oh, just some silly stories I read while I was a different human.” Chara said dismissively.

“So...Am I one?” Dillan asked.

“You're the second you I have seen so far.” Chara said, tilting their head.

“Second huh.” Dillan said nodding.

“What the buck is going on!!?” Rainbow dash yelled.

“Be quiet, rainbow pony.” Chara said. “Your voice is… annoying, to me.” They continued uncaringly.

“What!?” Rainbow dash yelled angrily.

“This should be interesting.” Dillan sighed.

“Are you deaf, annoying Rainbow pony?” Chara asked, tilting their head.

“Why you!!” Rainbow said about to charge at them.

“That's enough Rainbow.” Celestia said, Making Rainbow settle for glaring at Chara. The child just let out a echoing noise of amusement, smirking.

“So how did you get here?” Dillan asked Chara.

“I… do not quite know, honestly.” Chara said, looking off to the side, frowning. “I was… in the void, barely holding onto what is left of my SOUL, when I saw that portal, or the HATEon the other side, and took my chance to get out of that place… it’s so dull.”

“Well it's a good thing you didn't run into Eon.” Dillan said looking at the hands of Armageddon.

“Why?” Chara asked, curious.

“Eon is a multi dimensional being, he is ruthless and won't hesitate to destroy innocent people. He controls time and space to the point that a single blast can disintegrate you.” Dillan said shocking everyone.

“I am already dead.” Chara said, shrugging. “If he kills this body, I will simply return to the void.”

“He controls time, so if he hit you you'd be dead dead.” Dillan said.

“I would still simply return to the void, I did not really bring my SOUL with me, it is safely hidden.” Chara said.

“Alright.” Dillan shrugged.

“I'm so confused.” Rainbow dash said as everyone (besides Dillan and Chara) nodded.

“That is your default state of being.” Chara said simply.

“What?” Rainbow asked.

“She...He...They…. said that we're confused because we don't understand what's going on so our brains can't understand it.” Twilight said.[b

“Egg head.” Rainbow said.

“You may use They for me for now.” Chara said uncaringly.

“Ok.” Twilight said.

“Um not to be rude or anythin, but where are these two going to stay?” Applejack asked.

“I was wondering if Dillan and…?” Celestia asked looking at Chara.

“My name is Chara.” They said.

“And Chara could stay at the crystal castle?” Celestia asked twilight.

“Of course.” Twilight said eagerly.

“I do not care.” Chara said.

“Sure.” Dillan said.

“Then have fun, Luna and I need to raise and lower the moon and sun.” Celestia said as she left.

“So what now?” Dillan asked.

“I don’t know.” Chara said, shrugging.

“Let's go I have so many questions!!!” Twilight said happily.

“Whatever.” Chara said.

“Uh…. Ok.” Dillan said as her horn started glowing and they were all instantly in the castle of Friendship. “This is going to be annoying.” Dillan sighed.

“I find you all annoying.” Chara said.

“What did I do to deserve that?” Dillan asked.

“It’s the HATE, don’t take it personally, you’re all lucky I am restraining myself to annoyance and not killing you all by letting it take me over.” Chara said casually.

“Uh…” Dillan said confused before messing with his Omnitrix.

“What are you doing?” Twilight asked.

“Trying to figure out why I don't have any of the original Ben ten scans.” Dillan said.

“Maybe because you do not have access to the planet the scans came from?” Chara suggested.

“But then I wouldn't be able to scan new DNA either, when Ben scans DNA it's automatically sent to primus.” Dillan said.

“I would imagine Azmuth would have to have had some kind of more… localized storage for scans until he could re-link it to primus, that must be what you are currently filling.” Chara explained slowly, as if talking to a dumb child.

“First off, the Omnitrix is wirelessly connected to primus and can connect to it between dimensions, that's how Ben was always able to transform when he crossed dimensions…” Dillan said before Chara interrupted.

“We are in a separate universe not dimension, it is a bit further of a distance.” Chara interrupted.

“I was getting to that, the Hands of Armageddon only appear in a Ben ten universes, they are an interview dimensional/ universal gateway to the original Ben ten world.” Dillan said. “Eon uses them to.” He started before the Omnitrix glowed and a hologram of diamond Head popped up.

“Hmm lag, then?” Chara suggested. “This must be quite far away from the other Ben 10 worlds, after all.”

“Fair enough, and as long as I don't turn into Eon I'm happy.” Dillan said.

“I would advice against turning into a Chronian while near it then, just in case.” Chara said.

“True, now a chronosapien is another thing.” Dillan smirked.

“Personally, I’d stay away from time things in general.” Chara said.

“How come?” Dillan asked as more and more of the original scans popped up on the Omnitrix.

“Time travel is a… fickle thing.” Chara said simply.

“Fair enough.” Dillan shrugged before pausing. “But if I used clockworks powers and isolated it around you alone I could… help you?” Dillan said trying to not sound rude.

“My history is not tied to this universe, you cannot travel into it’s past to get the rest of my SOUL.” Chara said, frowning. “I thank you for the offer however.”

Dillan smiled softly. “Your welcome, I know what it's like to be something different….”

“I cannot care with the current state of my SOUL if I do not want to snap at you, so I will chose to ignore you.” Chara said simply.

“Ouch.” Dillan chuckled as twilight started asking questions.

“So you two are humans?” Twilight asked.

“I am.” Dillan said.

“I might get back to you on that.” Chara said.

“So what powers do you two posses?” Twilight asked.

“Way too many to count.” Dillan said glancing at the Omnitrix. “But the main one is transformation.”

“I could… provide a demonstration.” Chara said, tilting their head in thought. “I will require a little more HATE, to sustain myself.”

“I still hate the way I was displaced.” Dillan said. Chara smiled a tiny bit, some black HATE leaving Dillan entering them.

“Darling that's absolutely repulsive.” Rarity said.

“So is your face, and I am not commenting on it.” Chara said casually.

“How rude!” Rarity exclaimed.

“If you do not have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself, annoying pony.” Chara said. “Now, I believe you wanted a demonstration, lavender pony, where shall we do this?”

Twilight thought for a moment. “The outskirts of town.” She said teleporting us all there.

“Alright, now what to demonstrate first?” Chara mused to themselves.

“How about we spar? That way I can demonstrate my transformation powers as well.” Dillan said.

“Very well.” Chara said.

“Alright.” Dillan nodded looking through his watch. “This one should do.” Dillan said slamming down the dile,  and transformed into Feedback, He has two antennae and a tail each featuring a plug on its tip that allows him to draw energy to himself. He has four fingers on each hand with similar plugs on the tip of each finger. Feedback has only two front toes. He's black with a white and green color scheme around the symbol of the Omnitrix.

“I do hope you know that it is likely feedback is unable to shoot anything back at me.” Chara commented as they brandished their knife.

“What makes you say that?” Dillan asked.

“My type of energy is unlike any in the ben 10 universe, so it is likely that Feedback has not evolved to absorb and counter it.” Chara said, shrugging.

“The definition of feedback from Ben ten is literally he can absorb and redirect any energy.” Dillan said.

“Any ben 10 universe energy, he has not encountered my kind, therefor he cannot abosrb and redirect it, because he has not evolved to be able to.” Chara said simply. “Now, enough talk, let’s FIGHT.” They said, vanishing as they teleported behind Feedback, slashing him across his back back.

“Ow!” Dillan yelled before he slapped the Omnitrix and transformed back. “Ok I see what you meant, but how about this one.” He said transforming into Diamondhead.

“Now let's do this.” He said shooting them with Crystals.

The child frowned a little, tilting to the side to casually dodge the crystals. “You will have to try shooting a little faster than that.” Chara said, knife glowing red. They slashed it in the Diamondheads general direction, a red Crescent speeding forwards so fast he had almost no time to dodge.

Diamondhead slammed his fist into the dirt and made a huge Crystal grow out of the ground blocking the hit. The red crescent exploded on impact, cracking the crystal heavily.

“Wow.” Dillan smirked before he made a crystal grow right underneath them, knocking them off balance for a second, using the second to surround their knife in a Crystal circle one too big to climb. “How was that?” He smirked.

They just gave a unamused look, teleporting inside and grabbing the knife, before teleporting back out. “It was a slight annoyance.” They said simply, knife glowing purple as they slashed at him, a big purple crescent with two smaller behind it flying at him.

“Cool.” Dillan smirked Making an even bigger Crystal grow to protect himself along with three others.

The first two were obliterated, making smoke fill the air. Chara took this oppertunity to smile widely, knife slowly glowing a deeper and deeper red. “Welcome to my special hell~” They said in a sing-song, stabbing into the ground, making the entirety of the battlefield glow red, before they teleported away.

“SHIT!!!” Dillan yelled Making a crystal ball to protect himself. The red flew upwards, battering and shattering the ball, cracking the diamondhead inside of it, before it passed.

“Did you like my special hell?” Chara asked tauntingly, standing over him.

“Ow.” Dillan said reverting back as a yellow light went over Chara. The light seemed to fizzle, like it couldn’t quite scan what it was trying to. “Hm.” Dillan said looking at the Omnitrix, before looking at Chara. “Corrupted DNA?”

“I imagine that my current state would have that, yes, I am not even supposed to be alive, afterall.” Chara said, shrugging.

“Well I suppose technically ghostfreak wouldn't be alive either… maybe.” Dillan said.

“I believe that is just how his race operates, not if it is alive or not.” Chara commented, holding a hand down to help him up.

“Thanks.” Dillan said grabbing their hand and stood up.

“Was that enough information for you, lavender pony?” Chara asked, glancing at said pony.

“Yes thank you.” Twilight said as Dillan slapped the Omnitrix but the symbol only went to his chest.

“Thats… weird.” Dillan said.

“I believe ben 10,000 could do something like that.” Chara commented. “Maybe that is what you are doing right now?”

“That's with the ultimatix, as in ultimate evolution, the watch I have doesn't do that.” Dillan said confused.

“Hmmm.” Chara hummed thoughtfully. “Maybe the omnitrix is trying to use the data it got from me, but does not know exactly how due to its corruption?”

“But I slammed it on what looked like a normal scan…” dillan said touching the ground and became covered in the same material as the dirt. “Oh I'm an osmosian.”

“Ah, that makes more sense.” Chara said. “Well, what shall we do now?” They asked.

Dillan went back to normal and grabbed Chara's head attempting to absorb their DNA. His body started glowing and flashing before he had to let go, holding his head he looked at them. “Ok, that was interesting.”

“It did not work, did it?” Chara asked, looking amused.

“I don't know, how do you use your powers?” Dillan asked.

“I need to focus on the several traits my powers come from.” Chara said, shrugging. “And, I also prefer to use something to send the powers out of, like my knife.”

Dillan hummed and focused energy into his hand, and blasted a tree engulfing it in white flames.  “Cool.”

“You seem attuned to fire, interesting.” Chara said thoughtfully. “Though, that was just a basic white attack, try focusing on INTEGRITY, or your morals.”

“Ok.” Dillan said doing so. His hands started glowing blue, and a blue heart appeared over Twilights chest, the closest being with a SOUL in the area to grab.

“W-what gout on!?” Twilight asked scared.

“Good, you turned her SOUL blue, now if you lift your arm, slowly, she should slowly raise into the air.” Chara instructed, ignoring the lavender pony completely.

Dillan slowly lifted his arm and twilight slowly starting rising. “Cool.”

“If you’d want to actually damage the pony, you’d have to toss her around harder than that, but this was just a demonstration. Now, I can see your SOUL is INTEGRITY, and I think that that is all this form will give you access to, since the abilities that you got from me are… incomplete due to my current state of being.” Chara said, shrugging.

“Alright.” Dillan said transforming back as twilight fell on her flank. “Sorry.”

“That was incredible!” Twilight said.

“I could do that to, if I wanted… I just prefer my knife attacks.” Chara said with a shrug.

“It's getting kinda late, how about we get to bed?” Dillan said.

“You can, I want to… explore.” Chara said.

“Oh, ok.” Dillan said looking down a little. “Let's go.” He said to twilight who teleported them all away except Chara.

Chara smiled a disturbing demonic smile as their brown eyes glew red, vanishing into town.
