Chapters I woke up to the feeling of sunshine on my face. The warmth of the sun causing my muscles to relax. I felt a familiar presence next to my side. I looked down, only to see my beloved still sleeping with with a small smile spread on across her muzzle. I watched as her chest slowly rose and fell at the steadiness of her breathing.
I smiled to myself as i took in the beauty of my love, Celestia. She seemed so peaceful. Her beautiful pink mane shimmering in the sunlight. Her snow white coat, softer that the clouds themselves. I wish she could be awake so I can stare at those amazing purple eyes. Her horn as long as a pony's arm, sharpened to a point. Her magnificent wings tucked into her side as she curled in closer. We have been together for One hundred years now, and they have been the best in my life.
" Rise and shine, lovers!" my intolerable brother screamed as he burst through the door. I felt Celestia jump awake at the sudden intrusion
"Dammit Discord, we were still sleeping!" I yelled, only to regret it after I saw my love wince in pain. Guilty by my action I apologized by laying a soft kiss above her horn. She quickly settled down.
" Yes brother i know, that's why it was so much fun!" he laughed. I glared daggers at him noticing his appearance. Discord and I looked nothing alike.
His hind legs composed of a dragons leg and ponies. His tail was also of a serpents that was red with black hair at the end. He also had two wings that were of a Pegasus and bat pony. Even though he was a few hundred years younger than me, he was already starting to grow a beard on his chin. Since he was a birth defect he was born with two yellow eyes with red pupils. One of his pupils was bigger than the other. On the top of his head he had two small horns that were almost covered by his long black hair going down his Griffin like body. One of the horns looked like it belonged to a deer. The other one was a complete mystery to us.
" Discord" I groaned "please just go back down stairs and make us some breakfast"
" Why of coarse brother, I would love nothing better" he smiled
" Fuck, i'm old" I groaned. I proceeded to brush my sharp fangs and canine teeth. I also washed my face to get the sleepiness out. When done I stared at my reflection. My red scales gleaming from the light. My sharp claws that would scratch anything I touched still as pointy as ever. I stretched my dragon like wings to make sure they un- stiffen. It was sometimes hard to believe me and Discord were brothers. We were born from The certain powers that started in this world. We were not the same blood, but our spirits were in a way similar.
He was chaos, I Mayhem. Our spirits had the similar aspect of disorder. He resembled the disorganization of his body as the whole definition of chaos. I looked like a blood thirsty demon dragon who will kill anything in my way. Since Mayhem is a lot more violent way of chaos. Ironically I was not like that at all.
I was referred to be a lot more loving and peaceful. I may get a bit angry sometimes, but you know you might if you had to live with my brother.I don't fully understand why Celestia decided I was 'the perfect mate' she once said but I did not complain. I was happy she could accept me. I finished up with cleaning myself and I went to go downstairs. As I exited the bathroom and I saw Celestias still sleeping form, I chuckled.She sure loves her sleep, I thought.
I made it downstairs and found the "kitchen", which was just a little area with a small lava pool I made for heat and baking. Our dining area was just a few rocks as seats with a large rock slab as a table.Living the dream , I thought. As I sat down I saw my food being served by Discord. "Thank you brother" I said as I started to cut my pancakes.
Before I could eat my chocolate pancakes I heard hoofsteps coming from the stairs. I smiled seeing Celestia finally awake and up. She didn't seem tired, she might of washed up as well. She grabbed a couple pancakes and put them on a emerald plate she grabbed from the small area we keep our dishes.She sat down with a 'humf' "Morning love" I said as I kissed her cheek." Is LuLu up?" i asked.
" I was thinking that we could go to our secret little cave." She said with eyes full of passion. I smiled as I took a bite of my pancakes. What I didn't expect was to taste something foul. I looked at the pancakes gaging with tears forming in my eyes. What I saw made my hair on my head, neck, and tail to start spurting flames. What I saw was little lumps of Shit in the Pancakes. "DISCORD!" I Roared.
Celestia Pov 50 years later
I awoken to the sound of birds chirping. I felt a slight warmth as my senses came back to me. That warmth was also very smooth. Curious I looked behind me to find a sight that made my heart melt. There sleeping was Cretan, he was huddled up against me. I felt him move slightly, trying to get closer to me.The memories came back to me at that moment. I blushed slightly, remembering the fun we had.
Feeling a bit off today I quickly stood from the bed and walked to the bathroom to see why I was feeling weird. I closed the door behind me as I inspected myself. I instantly blushed knowing the odd feeling. I could feel my nethers seem a bit warm. I remembered that this week was heat week. This also brought panic to my mind,horrible thoughts ran through my mind as I rubbed my belly. Shaking my head in doubt I just stood up with determination and walked out of the bathroom."No, this is not to happen, i'm sure." I thought as I went back to bed to be with the one I loved.
1 month later
I stared at my reflection, Thinking to myself."No, this cannot be" . This past month I have been acting more reactant to simple actions. I have snapped at Discords silly acts like I have never before. Me and Cretan have been arguing a lot recently. I have also been consuming a lot of different foods. Even things I have never thought of eating before. I was not sure what it was before, but now I think I have a clue. I needed to know if I was right.
I quickly teleported to the old library in the forgotten woods. I roamed the library, searching for the book I was after. An hour later of searching I have finally found it. Opening the book I read the spell and directions on how to do it. It said the spell will make one glow if they have a life in them, such like carrying a foal. I quickly put the book down and lit my horn, casting the spell on myself.
I shut my eyes in concentration as the spell was charging. I felt the energy being needing release so I let it, making the energy flow through me. I opened my eyes only to my horror. I glowed. "No this cannot be true " I thought to myself. Thinking back 20 years ago I remembered what the prophet said about my future when I found a wooden house in the forest.
"Be careful young one, your future is clear but it is not done. When given life from your dearly beloved, you will see that it will become very destructive. The world will be destroyed by your child you see, but it is a choice by you not me" the old mare croaked."To take away the life within." I gulped as I opened the book. Before I casted the spell I thought about Cretan. What would he think if I did this. Would he forgive me? Will he seek me out for vengeance. Knowing the risk I prepared my horn to cast."I'm sorry my love, but this is to protect all." I said as I cast the spell.
2 days later
I sat there tears threatening to come out as I stared at a foal basket. Those would have been perfect for it. It would have been a good present for the foal.
Ever since I did the spell I've never felt so, empty. Like all the life has been drained from me.In a way, it was. I have been avoiding Cretan, not by being afraid if he found out. I just couldn't look into his eyes, knowing I killed his innocent child. I cried every night, regretting what I have done.I would then remember what would happen if I let it live. I stood there, a tear rolling down my cheek.
As I was about to buy a stalk I felt a slight tremor. Looking at the ground I raised an eyebrow, wondering what that was. I felt it again, this time it was much stronger. I looked up at the direction of my home, It felt like it was coming from the forest. It was probably a new monster emerging.The forest always had new creatures coming from that place. The only reason this town is not destroyed is because Cretan defended it. I activated my horn, getting ready to defend these ponies. What I saw next made my blood go cold. In the distance I saw Cretan. He was on fire and the ground burned all around him. I could see the look on his face, it was pure rage.
"CELESTIA" I heard him roar. The ground shook with his words. I was petrified."Did he know, how?" I started to sweat. He started to approach me. " Cretan, what is..." I was cut off as he blew a stream of fire at me. Thinking quick i pulled up a shield that withstood the attack, barely.
" Did you even think of telling me this!" he screamed."Did you think of how I would feel of you killing my child?!" he stomped.
"I was afraid. I couldn't bare to tell you. How did you find out anyway?" I said wondering how he found out even though I told no one and put the books away. I swear if Discord followed me and told him what I did I will Hunt that Chaos spirit down and feed him his limbs.
"I already knew. I felt the life within you when the heat week was done.I knew I would get you pregnant. That is why I put up with your shit at home. The next month I noticed the feeling gone. I didn't feel any life in you. I looked in the old library for answers. I found the magic residue of two certain spells, and I knew what those spells were." he said with flames forming in his hands.
"Please, don't do this. I am sorry, but it would have been dangerous and it would have hurt these ponies" I cried. He roared and shot his flames from his hands.
I quickly shot to the sky avoiding the fire. I looked down, only to my horror to see him burning the town. Screams, that is all i could hear. Screams of the ponies I tried to protect being burned to ashes. The ponies I sacrificed my child to. "Cretan! Please stop. Don't do this!" I cried.
"NEVER!" he roared. I flew down to stop him only to be knocked aside by his tail. I collided with a tree as I passed out.
I woke to a bright light. Blinking the grogginess out of my eyes I slowly stood up. My chest hurt and it was hard to breath. I was pretty sure I had a few ribs cracked. I looked out to find the bright light, only to see the burning town. Houses, Trees, the holy fountain that showed my mothers statue. It all burned. I heard a choked sob ahead of me. What I saw broke my heart. I saw a small filly, probably only 5 years old. She had a lime green coat with a silver mane and her whole body was covered in ash. Next to her was Cretan, a blank look on his face.
"Well Celestia, took you long enough. I was about to just kill this filly" as soon as he said that the filly started to cry her eyes out.
"Please Cretan, this is not you. Just let the filly go" I said, holding back my tears. He tsked, slowly circling around the filly like a shark to it's prey.
"I am sorry, but I can't do that. You took my child for all these ponies to live" he said pointing at the burning town."If you can take my childs life for them, can you give yours to save her?" He said pointing at the filly.
"Cretan, let her go.She is not part of this." I cried.
"So you saying that you wouldn't give your life for this ,beautiful filly." he said kneeling down next to the filly, holding her shoulder.
"The only way to stop me is to kill me" he said standing up. I started to sob."I c-cant'. I'm sorry, please don't do this" i cried falling on my hind legs.'CRACK' with the filly's head twisting around.
I dodged and weaved as he shot balls of fire and magic at me. I quickly went down into the trees so I can hide. Before I could I felt him blast me with a beam of magic in my side. I lost control of my flying and I crashed down into the ground below. I fell through the ground into a small cave. I was too dazed to see anything, so I laid there to rest my body.
" I've found the Tree of Harmony!" I awed as I took in the sight. The tree itself seemed to be made of crystal like my mother told me. There were 6 branches sticking out of the base that had gems on each end. Each one was different color. Those were the Elements. There were also small crystal vines hanging from the branches. I took in the beauty of it all. Knowing I found a sacred treasure. I felt happy again, until I heard a roar from behind me.
I looked back in fear to see Cretan standing there with flames all around his body.
Time seemed to slow down as he charged. I quickly thought to myself. The elements consisted of Loyalty, Laughter ,Kindness. Generosity, Honesty, and Magic. I quickly thought of all the moments in my life which consisted those. I remembered being loyal to Cretan. How I trusted him being who he was and never leaving his side. I remember making Cretan laugh with joy whenever we went out in the forest together. I remember being kind to him when he sometimes lost his temper. I easily calmed him down with affection from my heart. I remembered Generosity, whenever he was not feeling well or couldn't do a task I always volunteered to do it for him. Not letting things like getting muddy or hurt to stand in my way. I remembered Honesty, whenever we confessed with each other about our feelings, I always told him from the depth of my heart. As I thought of these moments the Elements started to glow bright and Circle me. I looked at the last element thinking of the friendship and love I still had for him. The Element of Magic Started to glow too. I focused all the magic from the Elements into a Simple blast spell. I aimed it right at Cretan. The next thing I knew was a rainbow coming out of the Elements colliding with Cretan before I passed out.
I woke up in a daze. Everything was a big blur. I opened and closed my eyes a few times to try and get them to focus. When my sight started to clear up I stood and looked around. I noticed to be a bit taller when I stood. When I used to be 5'5", I now stood at 6'3". I also noticed the elements laying scattered across the floor around me. I also felt something a bit soft on my back. Looking back I saw what seemed to be a partial rainbow cloud. It also moved like as if an invisible wind was going through it. I pulled on it with my magic only for my head to jerk back. Surprised I double checked and found it to be my mane. I looked down and also saw my tail to be in the same fashion. Shocked I stroked it, memorized by its unique pattern. Turning around to leave I walked face to Cretan, only he was made of stone.
I simply stared at the eyes of my once lover. He held out his arms in a blocking manner, His eyes full of hate. Too scared to say anything I slowly raised a hoof to touch it. Laying my hoof against his claw I began to tear up. He was gone. I lost him. I fell to the ground sobbing and trembling. I soon cried myself to sleep. I soon woke up later feeling sick. I quickly recalled all that has happened before I fell asleep.
Author's Note
This is what Cretan looks like. Imagin him smaller with smother scales and green eyes.This took forever to write. I did it all in one day. I have never written so much in my life. My fingers feel like they are bleeding. I think this chapter can be a whole story itself. More will come but not as long as this. Or i might just make a few very long chapters like this. This is only the beginning as there is a lot more blood before Cretans thirst is settled.
Cold. I feel a sudden coldness I have not felt in over 5 thousand years. I have not felt anything since the day of Celestias betrayal. My body, encased in stone for generations as I could not feel, see, or touch anything in this world. Now I feel a sudden coldness against my chest. I struggled, trying to feel what was happening to me.
I thought of moving my arms. When I did, I heard the cracking of stone. Surprised, I continued to move my arms free. I could the feel some of stone leaving my arms as they became loose. I could feel a soft wind against my scales. I began to move my legs. I reached down and grabbed the stone, sticking my claws in it. I easily pulled off the stone as if it was brittle dirt. I did the same act on the other leg, feeling the soft touch of the wind against my sore feet.
I reached up, grabbing the loose stone covering my face. Pulling it off I was blinded by a bright light. Closing my eyes few a brief time to adjust, I reopened them for me to see more clearly. The light that blinded me came from the moon in the sky. Looking up I took in the beauty of it. When I looked I saw a new trait that was never on there before. The was a shape of a mares head on the side of it. That's new I thought as I continued to stare at the big white orb in the sky. I knew what the spell was. It was an ancient spell that requires a lot of concentrated magic to pull off.
Taking my eyes off the moon I studied my surroundings. I noticed to be in a big room with stone walls that were covered in green vines and grass. The room also seemed to be damaged, little pieces of stone covering the floor. There were cracks all over the wall, there were even missing pieces of stone. Looking around I stepped forward only to fall on my face.
I groaned in pain as I looked back to see what tripped me. I didn't find anything that could have tripped me. I tried to move my legs, only for them to not respond. Knowing I could not walk, I crawled to one of the stone wall to fix my legs. When I reached the wall I pulled myself up and rested my back against the wall.
I looked down at my legs. Apparently I was in stone for too long. I reached out and shook my legs to try and get rid of the numbness. I shook them for a minute until my arms became tired. Frustrated, I sighed and rested against the wall again. "I wish I could use magic". When those word came out of my mouth I resisted the urge to face palm. I sighed and started to activate my magic so I can fix my legs. A minute passed by, then another, and another. Wondering what was wrong I touched my two horns and found they were ice cold.
I knew what that meant. "If one who can use magic does not release said magic in a certain amount of time, their magic would need a jumpstart from another magic user" my teacher told me when I was much younger. I was unable to use my magic until I could harness It from something. I could try and warm them up . I looked at my legs and aimed my mouth at them. I took a big breath and blew out. The only thing that came out was the steam from my breath, showing off how cold it was here. Surprised, I blew again. Nothing but steam came out. Great, now my fire pouch is cold. How the hell does that even work !
I groaned in annoyance. I guess I am going to do it the hard way. I twisted my back to where I was facing the wall I was laying against. I pulled out my claws and gripped the wall. One arm after the other, I pulled myself up to where my feet was hovering the ground. Looking down I saw I was high enough. I slowly dropped myself to the ground so my feet could touch. When I felt contact to the floor I just stood there, getting used to the feeling. I think I could let go now . Slowly pulling my claws out of the wall I braced myself for the fall. When my claws came out I closed my eyes, ready for the pain. Nothing came.
I opened my eyes to see myself standing. Hell yes! I slowly turned around. My legs felt a bit numb, but I could still move them. I Looked around and saw a big set of doors at the end of the room. I slowly stepped forward to test my legs. They seemed to be holding up. I kept walking to the doors while making sure I did not trip over anything. When I reached the doors I took notice of the pattern on them. They had a Sun and moon on them. I slowly pushed the surprisingly light doors to reveal what seemed to be a throne room.
The throne room seemed to be in the same condition as the last room. Cracks in the walls, pieces littered all over the floor, and there was another hole in the roof exposing the moon. I walked into the room to check out more of it. When I entered I saw there were also windows in the walls. They were mostly broken or dirty. There was one, however, that still seemed to be in good condition. Walking over to the window I tried to get a better look at it. All I could see in the window was a sun. I tried to use my magic to clear the dust. When nothing happened I realizing I still could not use it. Dammit ! I grabbed a small rock next to me and threw it at the wall in anger. When I the rock hit the wall, some of the dust came off. When the dust fell I could see the picture more clearly. What I saw was two alicorns, white and blue, that were surrounding what seems to be... my brother!
They were using some sort of magic on him, and he looked like he was frozen and scared. I studied the alicorns. I then realized who they were. It was Celestia and Luna. Celestia hurt my brother ! I started to tremble with rage. I turned around to see two thrones. One was plated gold and had a sun on top. The other was plated silver and was a lot shorter than the other. I looked at the window and back at the throne. She became a princess! She killed my child, locked me in prison, and hurt my brother and was rewarded to be a princess !!!! I could feel the anger well up in my chest. I roared and shot flames at the throne. "CELESTIA!"
1 hour later
I walked through the forgotten forest, trying to find any source of magic to jumpstart mine. When I found out Celestia had hurt my brother, I knew I was going to kill her no matter what. I walked out of the castle, which when I saw made me even more angry, and I headed into the forest. I have been looking around without any source of magic that can be used. Another few hours had passed and nothing came up. I did see a lot of animals, hiding in the dark thinking I can't see them. This made me smile. At least there is something who knows of what I am . Still walking I saw a small light up ahead. I ducked down and crawled towards the light.
When I reached to the light I saw what seemed to be a hut. The hut seemed pretty basic, like as if it was a tribal pony. I looked into the window of the hut. What I saw made my smile like a mad person. Inside of the hut was a zebra. I knew they could be used for my purpose since any creature has some magic in them. I couldn't walk in so I knew I had to draw it out. Looking around I saw the hut had a door. I walked to the door and quickly knocked and sprinted away. I dived in some bushes and hid. A minute later the zebra came out and looked around. What I did not expect was for it to look right at me. How did it see me ? The zebra slowly walked towards me. I did not know what to do. My idea was to jump it when it came out and drain it. It was getting closer to me. I looked behind it to look into it's hut. What I saw gave me a idea. The zebra was right in front of me.
"Hel..." before it could finish I quickly jumped out and grabbed its throat, making it cry out in surprise. I quickly shut its muzzle before it attracted any un wanted guest. Taking a better look at the zebra I noticed it was also a mare.
"You are going to make me a potion for me, understand?" I whispered into her ear. I saw the fear and pain in her eyes. She quickly nodded. "Good." I walked into the hut while beginning to start my vengeance against the one I used to love.

Next chapter wont be for a while since I will be a D.C. for a field trip. I hope this story woks out while i'm gone.
3 years have passed since my awakening. 3 years since I have broken from my cold stone prison. Ever since I left that castle nothing has been the same. All of the things I knew from the world before, was now gone. New technology, new country's, and a new era of peace. I have been traveling from place to place, trying to find out more of this new world. In time, I have learned many things. I was able to learn what had happened after my imprisonment. When I confirmed that Celestia and Luna had also imprisoned my brother, I think I had burnt a whole town down. I don't remember. I was a bit psycho at the time.
I looked farther into the history books. I also found out that Celestia had imprisoned Luna on the moon. That explained the face I see every night. It was all because Celestia was selfish for being a princess. This made me feel pity towards Luna. I never hated Luna. She was quiet and nice. She did not deserve what her sister did to her.
While doing my research I had also been doing some planning. In all my research I have never found anything about me. I was a ghost to everything. I was not even sure if Celestia knew I was back. I had to use this to my advantage. In order to keep myself secret, I had created a new body. A body of a kirin .
My new body was hard to adjust but it suited my purpose. What I thought was weird was the cutie mark. I did not think I would get one. It was a tip if a spear with a red jewel in the middle. Surrounding the spear end was blue fire. I did not take any time to think of what it means because I knew it was useless.
Whenever I went out to public I always got the question "What are you?" I simply responded that I was a Kirin which is a hybrid of pony and dragon. They asked my name, but since I am not good with making up names I just went with my own as Cretan. However, a new body wasn't going to start anything for my revenge. I was weak, I knew that. The potion I had the zebra made me would make me gain infinite magic on the night of a full moon. It was very hard to make and only a certain amount of species can make it. Luckily the zebra knew how. I wiped the zebras memory and left with potion. When I drank the potion I did not know that the potion the zebra made me had a side affect. I was very weak and could only perform some forms of magic until the time came for the potion work. She tricked me, but it was too late and I was too far away. I also deleted how she could fix it from her mind. It did not change anything. I would still get what I want
Ever since then I knew I could not fight Celestia, she had too many things protecting her. She had a whole kingdom and mabe some other allies. I had to somehow break those defenses. I was laying awake at night in my apartment I stole and the thought hit me. If I could not fight her, maybe something else can . I looked up at the moon and smiled. I could use others ideals to destroy equestria for me. I know there are others who wish for equestrian to be destroyed. I could give them what they want in return for Celestia. I could use Luna's revenge to help me . The only problem was how to get to the moon.I was weak and needed a lot more magic in order to do the spell. I could steal some magic in order to transport myself there and back, but I would need a lot of ponies. I would need to steal all of magic from them, which means in the end killing them. There was a festival going on outside my apartment celebrating their 30th anniversary for their town. I guess they will be celebrating for nothing I chuckled. I stood up from my bed and stretched my legs and wings. I grabbed a small blue vial from under my bed. The vial glowed a soft blue in the darkness of my apartment. I put it in my mane and tied a knot to it, keeping it secure. I looked at the moon once again. "Time to pay the little sister a visit." I smirked. I jumped out my window into the glowing night sky to prepare my visit with the 'night owl'.

I guess I lied. I was able to make another one today. This is just the start of the big idea I have in store.

Tartarus, that is the only thing that can describe the conditions of the burning village. Screams everywhere, in the houses, the streets, and even out in the open. The whole village was one big area of pain and suffering. It was not always like this. One moment the Mayor was giving a speech to everpony about how we did a good job decorating the town, the next moment she was being sucked of her life and the screams started. Everpony recognized the killer. Who else in town was half dragon and had those innocent green eyes. When the mayor died, he started going for the others. He pounced like a predator and sucked the life out of everypony, only leaving a shriveled up corps.
The nightmare only lasted for 1 hour. The flames had been put out by a storm that passed by. The town was as quiet, as if nothing had even happen that night. Everypony was dead, except for one.
"Have to hide. Have to hide!" I quickly muttered to myself. I did not know where to go. The whole town was ashes. There was too much open space. I could not find any space to hide in. I quickly scurried around, trying to find a small place to fit in and hide. I had to be quiet, or else He would find me.
I looked around some more while holding back my sobs. Everything went to shit so fast I could not react. I was there with my sister listening to the Mayor, then 'boom' he came out of nowhere and stole her life. The next thing I knew he was atop my sister doing the same thing. I did not know what to think, so I ran. I ran for my life while all the others fended for their life. I kept running, listening to the screams and pleas. The fires came and soon it all ended. We never had a chance, we never would have survived.
I walked through the center of town while looking in case He showed up. The whole place was still silent, there wasn't even any wind. I scanned the area while trying to control my breathing. While looking around, to my joy, I found a small area of piled wood. I knew I could hide there. I ran to the hiding spot, completely forgetting about the danger I was in. That was a mistake.
Before I knew it I heard a roar behind me and I was tackled to the ground. I could feel my ribs break from the impact. I rolled over to look at my once crush. Above me stood Cretan, the killer of my sister.
"Well, well. Who do we have here. I was wondering where you went off to." he said grinning.
I couldn't hold back my tears. "Please, Cretan! Please don't do this!" I wailed.
"Why shouldn't I. I do need you for a good purpose." He said while looking at me as if I was a juicy hay burger.
"Please! I will do anything. I can give you anything you want! I will even be your slave! I will do anything you ask of me!" I sputtered.
"Oh really? If that is the case then." He smashed his lips on to mine.
I will admit it caught me off surprise, but I was not complaining. The kiss was surprisingly pleasant. His lips radiated warmth and were soft to the touch. I moaned into the kiss and brought my hoofs around his neck. Before I started to get into it, he broke the kiss. I was about to protest until he started to trail kisses on my jaw to my neck. I moaned in pleasure. Maybe this will work out . He started to lick around a spot on my neck, right where my jugular was.
" I want your Magic " He whispered into my ear.
Before I knew it he clamped down on my neck and I felt a burning pain go through my body. I screamed in agony while trying to get him off. My attempt was futile. My body slowly became weaker and I could no longer feel my limbs. I could feel my eyes begin to feel heavy. Through all that was happening, I saw a light in the distance. It was my sister. She waved to me. I tried to wave back, but I could not move my arms. My eyes finally closed as I was consumed in light.
Cretan pov
I saw the small pony shrivel up into a corpse and let the body go from my jaw. I sighed in pleasure. I loved doing that to creatures. The feeling was so good and their magic even had a taste. It all depended on their talent or personality. That was one of the perks. I also never knew how much magic a pony had. The first few ponies I had consumed had already made it possible for me to get to the moon. I am pretty sure I consumed at least a hundred. I had enough magic to go there and back with magic to spare. I was ready to head out. Before I casted the spell I saw a small cloak that could fit me. I took it and put it on. Not sure how cold it is there. I stared at the moon and casted the spell as a blinding light consumed me.
Nightmare Moon Pov
Another year gone. Don't know how many more to go . The time on this stupid rock was infuriating. There was nothing to do but stare at Equestria or blow up rocks in anger. I have traveled this moon the first few hundred years myself only for nothing to be here (unsurprisingly). I sat on a little throne I made for myself over time. It was basic. The whole thing was just a rock. My magic has been limited ever since I have been sent to this place by my sworn enemy. I could not make this place any more livable than it is now. I looked up at the planet for the 999th time and sighed. As soon as I did I saw a bright light from the corner of my eye.
I looked to the source of the light, only to my surprise to find nothing. I looked a bit harder. In the darkness I could see a figure. The figure had a black cloak which made it hard for me to see. However, I was trained to see in the dark. "Who goes there!" I yelled at the dark figure. What I did not suspect was that figure to actually move closer to me into the light of the sun. When the figure entered the light I could make out some of it's appearance. The cloak made it hard, but I could see a red muzzle, a long red dragon tail poking out, and two green slits for eyes.
"Hello there." He said while pulling back his hood, showing me his face.
What surprised me next was that he was not a pony. He was actually a Kirin. He had a calm complexion. His coat was a nice shade of red I have not seen in a very long time. The only real thing that caught my eyes, were his. They were a perfect shade of green. Like little orbs of emerald. He coughed, trying to get my attention.
"So, you are "The Mare on The Moon". I kind of expected more" he said with a raised eyebrow. This caused me to glare at him.
"Who do you think you are Kirin?!" I demanded. He rolled his eyes and proceeded to walk toward me.
"I would not expect you to know who I am. It does not matter who I am. The only thing that matters is what I want." He was getting closer. I jumped in front of him, stopping him in his tracks.
"Who do you think you are! I am Nightmare Moon! You don't have the right to demand of me you, beast!" I yelled in his face with all my fury.
"Is that so? Then let me convince you." He pounced on me before I could react. I was unable to move away quick enough and I fell to the ground. I was on my side and I felt his hoof on my face, pushing me into the ground.
"Listen little miss Nightmare" he pressed harder "we don't need to be enemies. In fact, I think we can work out a deal for both our benefits." I did not know what to do. He was clearly stronger than me. Maybe he can offer me something worth wild.
"Alright, I'm listening." He smiled. He then eased the pressure off my face and let me go. I stood up, still sore from the humiliating tackle I sustained.
"Listen Nightmare. I know more about you than me. That is how we are going to keep it. I know how you ended up here and why. I can bring you back, but in exchange for 2 things." I raised my brow at this. "First of all when you return to the world I will need you to summon a full moon to restore my power." I smiled at this.
"That was one of the first things I was going to do." I laughed. He smiled back.
" Yes, but there is a thing. I wont have enough magic to bring you back now. I will only be able to bring you back on a full moon." I frowned at this.
"How do you plan on doing this. I am not able to control the moon, how do you expect me to do that when I am the only one who can?!" He smiled even more.
"That is the thing. You won't be the one doing it."
"If not me then who, you?" I asked
"No. It will be Celestia" I reeled back in surprise.
"Why would my sworn enemy bring the moon at it's highest peak?! How will you force her?" He chuckled.
" I wont be forcing her. She will do it willingly." I looked at him as if he was mad.
"Why would she do it?"
"She does it by guilt. You see, I know you are using Luna's body as a host. Ever since Celestia banished her sister, she has felt nothing but sorrow. She tries to redeem this by raising a full moon on every Summer Solstice. The next solstice will be soon. When that happens, you will be free." I looked at him quizzically.
"How will you be able to bring me back?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"With this." He then pulled out a small bottle out of his mane. The bottle was a light shade of blue and was half full with the strange liquid. "Drink this and you will return to your rightful place as ruler. Drink this and you will have the power to return when Celestia raises the moon and enact you revenge " I tried to snatch it, but he pulled it away.
"My second request is that I require you to capture Celestia and bring her to me." I looked at the bottle hungrily. "Do we have a deal?" I nodded my head ferociously. He gave me the bottle and I gulped it down. "Remember our deal Nightmare" When he finished there was a bright light and he was gone. I looked at the big world that hovered over me.
"It is time I have my revenge!" I laughed out into the white rock which was my prison for almost a thousand years.
The bright light quickly faded as I found myself in the old castle I left long ago. I walked around until I walked into an old library. I saw a few tables and sat at one of them. I summoned my magic and brought forth a chess board. I set the pieces on the board. I looked out onto the white pieces. I then looked at my black ones and grabbed a piece. I moved my first pawn forward. "It's you move now, Celestia."

Where am I? I could not see anything in the darkness which surrounded me. The only source of light came from the moon, it's light shone through a small window on my right.. I tried to observe my surroundings. I found only darkness beyond what the light granted me.
"Hello, Celestia." My eyes turned to pinpricks. I recognize that voice. It was the voice I longed for so many years. The voice that brought happiness to my soul when fear and pain ran through my body. Now it is a voice that I fear and shiver to the sound of.
"What's wrong? You look surprised." I looked around for the voice. It sounded as if it came from, in front of me. I looked into the darkness, but what I did not expect was to see a shadow and two glowing green eyes.
I could not move. I was too scared too. Memories from so long ago now plaguing my mind. I did not even notice the small red claw emerge from the shadow. IT tapped patiently on the table in front of me. How did I not see that. I also noticed a small chess board laying on the table with all the pieces already set. I looked up at the shadow again. I wanted to say something, but my mouth would not respond to my command. I tried to take a few shaky breaths to calm my nerves. I managed to calm down a little more and tried to speak.
"W-What are y-you doing h-here?" I asked, trying to hide the fear in my voice. It did not work.
"What's wrong? You should have known I would have came back. It was only a matter of time." he chuckled.
I repeated my question, but more firm. "What are you dong here?!" He tsked.
"I am here for you Celestia. It has been a long time and I thought I would visit." he said nonchalantly
I did not believe him. I knew he was here for another reason. "Don't lie. I know you are here for a purpose, explain."
"I will say you are more confident than I thought." That's what he thinks ."I will admit I am here for a bigger purpose, but I just wanted to see how you are fairing. I've heard much about you and what you have done since I was gone." he chuckled. I still could not see his expression. The darkness covering him like a cloak of shadows. I did not know what to think anymore. My brain, so collected and focused is now but mush and uncertain.
"I've also wanted to see your expression after knowing you sister came back." I did not need to see his face to know that he was smiling. I knew my sister has returned. I made sure to send my student off to Ponyvile on this day for I knew of the prophecy. Now I am not sure if her return was by her own doing. The only thing I remember after sending Twilight away was that I was in my throne and a darkness fell over me. The next thing I knew I was here.
"I find it kind of surprising that you actually imprisoned your sister" he chuckled. "Well I shouldn't really. You did kill my child." I shivered. I could feel the anger and hate radiate from him. It was like a burning fire in front of me, burning my soul into ashes.
"I did what had to be done" I whispered. The table shook.
"LIES!" he roared. He leapt forward, exposing his face to the light. I felt his claw rap around my throat making it hard for me to breath. I looked into his face, pure rage plastered onto it. His features were surprisingly the same. He still resembled the dragon he is. Sharp fangs, blood red scales, black hair forming on his head. The only thing that really caught my attention were those eyes. Even though they showed hate and rage, they still held a gentle glow. A glow I loved ever since I met him.
"You killed my child! You killed our child! It never had to be that way. We could have been a family. Do you even think of how much I wanted that? How much I wanted to be with the ones I loved?" He cried. I could see the tears forming in his eyes. The pressure on my throat started to weaken. He slumped back releasing me, allowing me to breath properly.
"All I wanted was to be part of a family" he sobbed, closing his eyes. A minute passed with him quietly sobbing. I could feel the pain he was feeling. I wanted to part of a family as well, but it would have ended horribly for the other ponies. I closed my eyes, trying to hold back the tears I already shed. I heard his Sobbing stop. I looked at him to see him glaring at me. His gaze was enough to burn through me inner spirit and make me lower my head in guilt.. He wiped his tears away and growled. " But you denied me that. You denied the only thing I wanted." He leaned forward into the light. "Now Equestria will pay for your mistake. I will destroy all you care and love. You will be nothing but a little speck of grief when I am done with my plans! I will make your world a burn!" he roared. I was too afraid to say anything. I just wanted to leave and cry into my sheets. He leaned back again. "However... I wont kill you, Yet." This made me look at him questionably.
He pointed to the chessboard on front of me. I could see one of the black pieces were already moved. This piece, however, looked like Nightmare Moon. "It is still your turn, and there is a lot more to do before our game is finished."
I looked at my pieces. There were a lot less pieces than a regular board game. What were my pawns are now royal guards. My knights are know my highest captains, Shining Armor and Ebony Phoenix. My bishops were The two other royals, Princess Cadenza and Prince Blue Blood. My rooks were my national allies, A griffon and Bison. I looked at my last two pieces and was surprised to find that was my queen, was Twilight. She looked... different. She had a crown on her head with 5 other jewels circling her. I was not sure what this meant, but I knew it had to do something that may come to past. I looked at my king piece and saw it was me. Nothing special about it. It was just me sitting on a throne with my regal attire still attached.
I looked up in to Cretans glowing eyes. "A game? That is how you are going to destroy everything I've worked towards?" When those words left my mouth I regretted them. It came out like more of a challenge than I wanted. I did not need this meeting to take a bad turn.
"Of course. At this point everything is just a game now" he laughed. His laughter died down to a chuckle. It became quiet until he suddenly glared at me. His voice quickly turned serious. "However, there are always rules for a game." He scooted forward, exposing more of himself into the light." The game is fairly simple as you can see. It is just a simple game of chess between you and me. You move the pieces you have like in any chess game and you try to take the opponents pieces out. However, you should be carful with your moves. This game is more costly when you lose a piece." he chuckled
I looked at the board. I looked at my pieces more closely, trying to see what I could do. I tried to take a look at his pieces, but the darkness made it almost impossible. I looked again at his first moved pawn. I noticed that he went first, but usually white goes first. I looked up at him. "You went first?" He nodded.
"My game is a bit different than a regular game of chess. The movement system is a whole lot different." he simply explained with a wave of his claw.
I looked down at my pieces. I did not know what to move or how to move. I looked at the Twilight piece and decided to try something. I took hold of the piece with my magic and moved it to the Nightmare moon piece to take it out. I was surprised to see the Nightmare Moon piece crumple to ashes once I tapped mine against it. I let go of the piece and set it where the Nightmare Moon one was. I raised my brow and looked at Cretan. "This game is very flawed." I criticized.
He laughed. "It may be indeed, but don't get to confident. The game gets more intense later on. It is more like a game of checkers than real chess. Soon the pieces will fall into place, and when they do... I will make my move." He chuckled. As soon as he said that the whole area shook. I looked out toward the window to see a giant rainbow emerge from the distance in a ark and come back down. The area shook again. I looked at Cretan to see a bored expression on his face. He sighed and muttered something. I only heard a little bit of it. The only thing I heard was the word "Useless."
He looked back at me and smiled. "You have won this round. Congratulations! We will meet again soon enough Celestia, so be ready for the next move." He raised a claw and snapped his fingers. He disappeared and darkness consumed. I tried to open my eyes, but something was holding them closed. A minute passed and I could open them again. I opened them to find myself in a library. I looked around and found out that the structure was similar. The stone walls, the stained windows, and the old books I remember from my younger years. I was in my old castles library. I looked around for an exit. I saw a huge hole in the roof, exposing the glowing light of the moon. I extended my wing and took flight to see what that anomaly was. I will not lose this game. I will protect my ponies .It seems that Nightmare has failed. That is not too much of a problem. I expected her to fail. What I did not expect was that rainbow. I know what that power was. The Elements have taken form. This will make things a bit more diffulcult. It wont matter though. If things go right then it wont matter in the end. I will need more support though. Someone who I know I can trust. Someone with almost equal power as mine. I looked in the direction of Canterlot. "Discord" I breathed.

New Chapter
Canterlot. That is the kingdom in which my enemy has placed her dreams in. The place where the highest of ponies and Royals live and take from others. I wonder if she even knew how corrupt her kingdom was? Did she even care? I considered this as I walked through the streets of this false dream. My only goal today was to get to the gardens in the Castle. The only way I could get in was through the city and through the front doors of the castle. The guards wouldn't be much trouble. I could put them to sleep or make up a reasonable excuse.
The walk through the city was mildly annoying. I could hear all the gossip and complaining from all the spoiled ponies that infested this place like rats in a burrow. I tried my best not to just strangle the shit out of every pony I saw. If I did, my cover would be blown and my plan would be ruined. I was not in my Kirin form since I knew that would draw too much attention. I made a new pony form that was similar to my Kirin form. It had the same color pallet and cutie mark, but it did not have the dragon wings or the claws.
I was walking right now in what seemed to be a market. The crowd of ponies made it difficult to get through to the end of the market. As I passed through, I bumped into a couple of ponies. Some didn't react, but one decided to turn around and give me a insult. "Watch where you are going you filthy creature!" the pony exclaimed. I sighed. The pony had a brown coat and silver mane with gold yellow eyes. He wore a black suit and tie around his neck that showed his wealth. This was one the rich ponies that would either live in the castle or somewhere prestige. I did not care for these ponies. In the end they will all get what they deserve. I suddenly felt something bump into my chest. He jabbed me with his hoof. "Did you not hear me!? Respond to me you animal!" I simply rolled my eyes. He was not worth my time. I couldn't do anything since it would blow my cover. I took the polite route.
"I am deeply sorry sir. I promise it would not happen again. I will tell others to not make the same mistake and I will spread you title amongst others so they know of your power." I bowed. The pony smiled. He seemed happy with this answer.
"Good. Remember that you filthy peasant." he walked past me while shoving me out of the way. I just stood there and closed my eyes and took a deep breath. He will get what he deserves. Soon... Very soon. I opened my eyes and continued to walk forward.
The walk remained uneventful. I took my time. I studied the city and the types of security it had. I knew this info would be useful later on with my plans. The pathway was straight toward the castle, but it took a while to get there. It was already becoming dark. About a half hour later I finally made it to the castle. I looked around the perimeter of the giant sculpture that lay before me. There were guards posted all over the wall and gates. In front of the castle was a entrance for ponies so they may speak to the princess or just want to tour the castle. I chuckled at this. She made this even easier for me. I walked towards the entrance. There were two guards posted at the gates. Each one had a spear and the usual gold plated armor. I approached the gate.
I will admit I was nervous. I was not sure if they would stop me and ask questions or let me go. I continued to walk closer to the guards. I was so close. Just a few more steps and I would walk through them. I tried to control my breathing.
"Halt sir." I choked on my breath. I instantly stopped dead in my tracks. I looked at the guard that spoke. It was a mare. I could tell because of her voice and how much smaller she was compared to her partner. "Do you have business with the princess?" she droned. I just stood there. I did not know how to respond. Usually Discord was the better liar. I had to respond.
"No. I am here to visit the gardens." I said while trying to hide the nervousness in my voice. I could tell the guard raised her brow under her helmet.
"I'm sorry sir but you cannot visit the gardens right now." I raised my brow at this
"And why not?"
"Because they are off limits at this time." she quickly responded. Time to play the lying card.
"There is a misunderstanding. I was told by one of the royals to meet him there before night to talk about a buisiness proposal." I tried to make my voice sound as if it were a fact.
She looked deeply into my eyes. "Which royal?" she asked. I did not know how to respond. I did not know of any royals. I began to panic and sweat started to form on my head. I had to think. Wait. I think I have a idea, but It is more of a hunch than a real idea. I thought back on that one pony I bumped into. I tried to remember his cutie mark. I don't remember looking very closely at it so I tried my best at what I thought I saw. I do remember a image of a bag of spilled coins. I had to take a guess at his name. I looked at the guard.
"His name was Golden Coin." I said confidently.
The mare scoffed. "Oh, it was him. Very well then. I will escort you to the gardens."
I cheered in my head. My stupid wager paid off. "Thank you madam." She began to walk through the gate while I followed closely behind her.
The walk through the castle was very educational. It felt like walking through a new museum and you wanted to check everything out to see what it was. I was interested to see all the different painting and sculptures that littered the walls. The whole area was a very clean white. It was clean enough to where you could actually eat off of it. I even passed by a maid that was dusting off a sculpture of pony's head.
The walk to the gardens was long. I don't think I actually took in the size of this place. I took the time now to study the areas of the guards. I studied the areas in which were not covered. This was just too good. I was walking through my enemy's castle like I belong here. I was getting all the info I need without anypony noticing. We eventually made it to the gardens after walking through the castle for almost a half hour. Me and the Guard stood at the entrance of the gardens. I looked down at the Guard.
"Thank you for the escort Madam, but I will be fine from here" I began to walk forward. She put her hood in front of me.
"No pony is allowed without the escort of a guard. I will come with you to confirm you are telling the truth." She said while walking ahead and opening the gate for me. She made this a lot more difficult.
We were walking through the gardens. Let me tell you this. It was one hell of a garden. There were so many different types of flowers and bush designs that I could not even describe them all. I was so enraptured by the beauty of the garden that I didn't even notice the guard asking me a question. "Sir! Are you listening." she yelled at my face. I recoiled at the volume of her voice. I shook my head to wipe away the thoughts I had.
"Yes. I'm sorry. What were you saying." I asked. She sighed
"I was asking if you knew where he said to meet you at." I smiled.
"Yes. He told me to meet him at the Discord statue. Do you know where that is?" I asked
She nodded. "Yes. Follow me Sir." We walked for a few more minutes until we came to a clearing.
The clearing had nothing around it. It was just a small area with grass and a statue in the middle. When I looked at the statue my face became grim. I knew what the statue was. I remembered the those same features. It was my brother, Discord. I noticed something new about him. He seemed to be bigger. He grew since I was gone. He also looked as if he was laughing. He went down with a laugh. It was so much like him. I felt the guard nudge me.
"Sir. Are you sure he said for you to be here? I don't see anypony." she asked while looking around. I sighed. This was the unfortunate part.
"No. He is not here. What is your name guard." I asked while looking down at her, trying to remember her features.
She looked up at me. "Silver Blade sir. Why do you ask?" Too bad it had to be this way. She should have stayed back.
"I'm sorry Silver, but you made the decision to follow me." I summoned a knife.
"WHAT!?" she cried out. I turned around and swung the blade. I could feel the friction of the blade slicing her throat. She cried out in pain and surprise. She coughed and stumbled back. She held up her hoof over the cut, trying to hold the blood in. It didn't work. She stumbled around while coughing and gaging. Blood was spurting everywhere she walked and coughed. She looked at me. I felt a small amount of pity when I looked into those emerald eyes of hers. I could see the pain, the confusion, the fear. All of those emotions showed from the simple look she took at me. Silver fell over on her side and her helmet fell off, revealing her face. I looked at her features. Her mane was a very shinny silver and her coat was snow white. She was beautiful. She started to spread out her arms. She was reaching out to anything she could hold on to. The closest thing was my leg. She grasped it with all the amount of strength she had left. Silver looked up at me again. She had tears in her eyes. I could sense the pain and fear run through her body like the blood that gives her life. She coughed again, getting some blood on my leg.
"Why? Why me? I don't want to die. I'm not ready." She whispered while coughing. I just stood there, unmoving, expressionless. Her grip started to falter. Eventually I felt her let go. Her arms and head fell down with a soft thud. I looked down. I saw the life leaving her body. Her face was expressionless and she looked like she was already dead. I could still hear her breathing, barely. He breaths were becoming slower and shorter. I then heard her speak.
"Why....me?" she let out her final breath. She was dead. I sighed and dissolved the knife. I knelt down and put my hoof over her face. I shut her eyes and stood there silently. It was a shame she had to die. I respected her death with complete silence. A minute passed before I decided to move. I brought my magic around her body and I disintegrated it. Leaving nothing behind, not even the blood. I turned to the statue. Now it was time I looked at what I came for.
I studied the statue. I felt the magic surrounding it. I was similar to the type of magic that imprisoned me. What I don't understand was that he was still frozen. He should have been freed by now. I thought back to the tales of how he was defeated. I remember him trying to rule Equestria after my imprisonment and faced against Luna and Celestia. I gasped in realization. The difference between me and him was that only Celestia was there to imprison me. For Discord it was Luna and Celestia. The magic used on him was much stronger than me. This brought thoughts to my mind. There had to be a way to free him, but how? I looked up at him. When I looked at him I looked at his different animal parts. This brought a idea in my head. I smiled. Maybe I can use his spirit power to free him. I could cause chaos all over Equestria and give him enough power to break out.
I laughed in excitement. I can free him. I will be able to see my brother again. I felt tears forming in my eyes. We will be a family again. I walked to the statue and put my hoof on it.
"Don't worry brother. I will free you. We will both have our revenge for what She did to us." I whispered. I pulled my hoof away and turned around to leave. Before I did a thought came to mind. I just realized that I am in Celestia's castle. I could change to the tides for this game of ours. I thought of a way on how I could use this advantage. I suddenly felt a felt a familiar presence. I looked up towards one of the towers of the castle. On the balcony of this tower, I saw Luna. She seemed tired and was ready to fall asleep. She stood up from laying on the balcony she rested on. I then saw her retreat back into her tower. I smiled. Time to pay Luna a quick visit .
I teleported to the tower. I stood on the balcony, just outside of Luna's room. I peeked through the window. It was dark and I could hardly see anything. I decided I should go in. I used my magic to open the lock from the inside. I slowly and quietly opened the double glass doors. When I opened them I was revealed with a simple bedroom. The bedroom had blue walls and had some sparkles on the ceiling. There was also a fire place and desk near the far wall. I looked down. There was also carpeted floors. I smiled. I easily stepped through into the bedroom, knowing that I don't have to worry about detection.
I looked around the bedroom. To my right I found a queen sized bed. Laying in the bed herself was Luna. I walked closer to the bed to examine her. When I got to the bed, I stood at the side of it. I looked down at Luna and examined her. She still seemed the same from long ago. He blue coat and mane, still dark and shiny as ever. I watched her chest rose up and down. I sighed. I could kill her right now. No one would know and Celestia would be devastated. Although, I had a better plan. I don't have anything against Luna, but she did also imprison my brother. I wont let that go unpunished. I decided that I wont punish her. She will be driven to punish herself. I smiled and brought my horn to hers. I summoned my dark magic and casted it through my horn to hers. I could see the dark energy leave my horn and drain into hers. I chuckled and pulled my horn away. Now she will try to punish herself for the acts she has done as Nightmare Moon. I saw that Luna was frowning. She started to shake and sweat. I giggled to her torment. She was having a Nightmare.
I walked out of her bedroom out to the balcony. I closed the doors behind me and locked them. I looked up to the sky. It was getting close to morning. I looked out to the world ahead of me. I could see almost everything from here. I could see the city and even Ponyvile. I smiled. I went back to my Kirin form. I stretched out my wings, preparing to fly. Now all I had to do was spread chaos everywhere I go. I ran and jumped off the balcony. I tucked in my wings, diving a few hundred feet down. When I came close to the base of the castle I extended my wings and soared out in the new morning sky. It is your move now Celestia.

Sorry this was kinda late. I lost track of time and I forgot this was sitting on my screen.
Chaos. All I could see was the chaos that covered my land and it's people. What was once beautiful clouds that covered the sky ,that were white as snow and shine with a radiant light, were now pink as cotton candy and rained chocolate milk from above. Houses and ponies being levitated in the air and strange creatures flying around scaring the citizens. I could see my ponies running around in panic and fear. It was heartbreaking to see them so scared and afraid. I know only one thing that could have inflicted this pain on my ponies. Their was only one with this kind of power and humor, Discord. The Spirit of Chaos.
I have only learned this morning of his return. I had called for my student to inform her of his return and to try to stop him before more chaos is spread throughout the land. I was too late. He had stolen the Elements of harmony and hidden them. He showed himself to us and gave us a riddle that may lead to the Elements. That was a hour ago. At this moment I stood in my throne room, staring out the window, observing the pain of my subjects. I have never felt so useless before in my life, physically and mentally. There was only moment I have felt like this, and it was a long time ago. I sighed in annoyance. I could also feel the stickiness of the chocolate milk run down my back from the pink cloud that hovered above me.
I continued to stare out the window. It has half an hour since I had sent Twilight Sparkle and her friends away to find the elements. My worry had started to grow to a panic. I had to stay positive. I had to believe. I could feel a tear run down my cheek. I watched from the corner of my eye as the tear fell. I watched it slip from my cheek and fall to the marble floor. As soon as the tear made contact, the ground shook with the impact. I widened my eyes in surprise. A sudden coldness fell over me. I remembered this coldness. It was the same feeling from a month ago.
I quickly stood up and looked around. I could see a dark shadow covering the throne room. It was getting closer to me. I walked back, trying to keep a good distance from the darkness. I kept walking back until I felt my flank bump against a solid object. I was cornered. There was nowhere to go. I looked around, trying to find an escape. I could find nothing. The darkness was now only a few feet away from me. I readied my horn and blasted a light spell at it in an attempt to dissipate it. The spell didn't do much. All it did was a make a small spot of the ground turn back to marble, but then it quickly was consumed by darkness again. I was terrified. I did not know what to do and my muscles would not obey my command. I just stood there as the darkness consumed me. The next thing I knew was that all want black.
"Rise and shine Celestia. Come on. I thought you were the goddess of the sun." I heard the voice laugh. I knew where I was. I knew who's voice that belonged to. I was not ready to see him again.
"What am I doing here, Cretan?" I groaned. The darkness that had consumed me had pulled me to our meeting place. It had left a bad strain on my muscles. I tried to position myself comfortably .
"It thought I told you Celestia. I told you to be ready for my move. Now it is time for yours." he replied while A soft snap resonated in the darkness. Before my eyes a small table and chess board popped in front of me. I sighed in grief. I did not want to play this game again. From behind of the chess board, a claw emerged from the darkness and tapped patiently on the table. I stared at the claw nervously.
"Come now Celestia. I thought the surprise of seeing me was over." Cretan chuckled. As soon as he finished his sentence, I could see them. His emerald green eyes Staring straight into mine. I could feel his gaze like the heat of the sun on my face in the morning, but this wasn't the welcome feeling. It burned and ached. It felt like every sin I had conveyed were there for him to judge. They probably were.
I knew he still had anger in his soul. I knew it would not go away easily. I couldn't bare to look at him anymore. I looked down at the chess board, still nervous of what he might try to do. When I looked down at the pieces I found them, to my surprise, in different areas than I left them. During my last encounter I don't remember moving my pieces. I only remembered moving my Twilight piece. Had he moved my pieces? Did he cheat?!
I suddenly felt angry. I looked up at him into his glowing green eyes. "You moved my pieces at your own game! Have you no honor!" I exclaimed. I did not expect him to start laughing like a mad pony. I could see his shadow tossing around in his chair. The laughter lasted for a minute. When he finally settled down he scooted closer to me so I could see him better. The light from above illuminated his face revealing every detail. What surprised me was that he didn't look like himself. He looked different. He did not look like the dragon I know. His face resembled a ponies, but it was different. It still held those green eyes, but his face was that of a ponies. He also had horns on his head. I could see his teeth in his grin. They were still sharp, but they had a few differences in them. Like he had a mix of dragon and pony features.
"Like my new look? I think it suits the non violent side of me" he chuckled. I was surprised. I would be lying if I said that he didn't look somewhat charming. "To answer you statement, No. I did not cheat. I guess it was my fault not to explain some of the other details of our game." he pointed down at the chess board. "You may have influence over the pieces acts in certain events, but you don't control their daily lives. The board is not just a game field. The board resembles where they are in the world. That is why they are scattered. I did not move them. They moved themselves." he finished.
During his explanation I was looking at where my pieces were exactly. From what he told me they did seem to be in logical areas. Cadence and Shining Armor were right next to each other and so where my piece and Twilight's. I also noticed dark piece on my side. It was right next to the Twilight piece. Taking a closer look at it, it kind of looked like Discord. I looked up at Cretan
"And what of your pieces?" I asked with a raised brow. He simply chuckled
"My pieces don't need to move anywhere. I have them right where they are needed." he simply replied.
I looked down at my pieces. I knew I had to make my move. I looked down at my Twilight piece and thought of my move. Before I could grab my piece, Cretan tapped the table to get my attention. I looked up at him.
"Before you move your piece, I wan't ask you a few questions about us." I raised my brow at this. I did not see this coming. "You see Celestia, ever since you have found out I have returned you have not asked me my major plan. You have not questioned what I do in my spare time. Do you ever consider this?" he asked with a raised brow. I was completely caught off guard. I had never considered this. I never thought of his plans or what he does when I am not with. The thought of this scared me. I looked into his eyes and answered simply.
"No" He hummed, nodding.
"Next question, and it is the more serious one." He looked me dead in the eyes."How are your feelings for me? Even after all I had done?" I reeled back in surprise. This question was the one I had hoped he would not have asked. I was not even sure of how have I felt for him, even now I'm not sure. I looked down at my pieces in thought.
Back then, before we had fought and me imprisoning him, we shared a amazing love for each other. I remembered of the nights we shared in the bed and the days of running and playing in the fields of grass. Thinking now on the one I loved was the same Dragon in front of me, it was shocking. I looked up into his eyes. Those amazing emerald pools that glowed with a soft and gentle hue I adored so much. Yes. I do still love him. I didn't want to tell him though, not yet anyway. "I am not sure. I haven't gave much thought into it." I said nervously. He nodded.
I looked back down and grasped my twilight piece. I moved it over to the Discord piece and tapped it. When my piece made contact I though it would turn to dust like the last one, but instead nothing happened. A few seconds passed before the suddenly the Discord piece started to glow. It glowed a bright white and when the light died down, what was left was the same Discord piece. This time the piece was now white instead of the obsidian black. The piece suddenly floated over to my side of the board and settled next to it on the sidelines. I put my piece down. The table started to shake. I looked up to see Cretan in flames.
I could see his face and body whole. His body did seem different now. He did have the sort of mix between dragon and pony, but that was not what caught my attention. It was the tears running down his cheeks and the way he trembled. I was thinking that maybe I shouldn't have done that. I jerked his head up and looked at me. He did not seem cheerful like the last time I had won. His expression was that of rage. It seemed he was holding himself back from trying to kill me right there.
"DON"T THINK THIS WILL CHANGE ANYTHING! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE! EVEN IF IT MEANS THE DEATH OF ALL!" he roared. He suddenly grew in size and transformed back into his dragon form. He opened his mouth and fired flames at me. I did not have enough time to bring up a shield as I was consumed in fire.
I woke in a panic. I screamed and flailed around as I thought I was burning in fire. I ,however, did not feel a thing. I looked around and found myself in my throne room once again. I suddenly heard a banging behind me. I quickly turned around and looked for the banging. It was coming from the throne room doors. I readied my horn for waited for whatever to come through those doors. A minute passed and the door finally gave in. I saw what came through and quickly discharged my horn before I fired on the ponies that entered the room. It was my royal guard. I was relieved to see them. One of the guards approached me and bowed.
"Your Highness. We have come to see if you are in trouble. We have also have come to tell you that the creature has been defeated by the Elements" the guard announced. I smiled. I was glad that my student could beat Discord, even if I was the one who manipulated her. I suddenly thought back on what had just happened with Cretan. I turned around and walked towards one of the windows and starred out onto the land of my Ponies. The guard walked behind me. "Is everything alright you Highness?" the guard asked. I turned around and looked at him.

"Another one!" I called out to the bartender. The bartender turned around at me and raised a brow. He walked over to the rack full of different types of liquor and drinks that made to help one forget. I was one of those trying to forget.
The bartender grabbed a bottle of whiskey and walked over to me. He grabbed another glass cup underneath the counter I was sitting at. I looked up at him. I already had a glass, why was he getting another ? He stood back up and placed his glass next to mine and filled them up. I quickly took mine with my hoof and, not even using my magic, I gulped it down. I looked at the bartender frowning. I was pretty drunk, but I could still make out what he looked like. He was a brown stallion with a dirty blond mane and golden eyes. He took a small drink from his whiskey.
"Let me guess..... you broke up with a mare?" I shook my head. "Lost a job?" I shook my head again." You loss something?" I paused for a moment and then nodded. He nodded in return. "Usually when somepony drinks as much you do they try to forget..... or kill themselves" he said worriedly. I looked away.
"Well I have plans do finish before I end up dying." I grabbed the bottle and filled my glass up again.
"What did you lose?" he asked. I frowned. I knew what he was trying to do. He was trying to get me to talk and open up to him. Maybe that isn't a bad idea. I sighed, realizing I should get it off my chest.
"I loss my brother" I sulked. I looked up and saw the bartender looking down at his drink. I could still read a pony's emotions even when I'm 40 glasses in. I could tell he was uncomfortable that he walked into something a bit too sensitive. I was surprised to see him look up at me smiling slightly.
"Well I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure he was a good brother." I nodded and took another drink.
"He was my only family in this world. I loved him more than anything." I cried. I could tell the drink was making my emotions a bit more dramatic. I didn't care, I was just going to let it all out. "I haven't seen my brother in so many years, and when I finally brought him back.... he was taken from me!" I planted my face on the counter and started to cry.
" I was so happy when I saw him for the first time in so long. I was excited on how we could catch up and do fun things together like normal brothers. But as soon as I got him back he was taken from me!" I started to get more and more angry as I spoke. "It was unfair! He didn't deserve anything that happened to him. He was my baby brother and I was supposed to protect him! What's worse was that my old lover was the one who took him from me. Apparently killing my child wasn't enough for her! She had too take another piece of me away! The worse part is that I cant touch her is because she is a Fucking royal bitch who is protected and I can't do anything about It " I hollered. The bar became deadly silent.
I looked up and saw the bartender starring at me with wide eyes. I slowly looked around and saw everypony in the bar starring at me. I also noticed that the bar seemed a bit brighter. I looked in the direction of the light and saw it behind me. Surprised, I looked down and saw me back in my dragon form with my scales burning and my hair on fire. I also noticed my heart was booming in my chest. I closed my eyes and tried to control my anger. I needed to save it for my revenge. My scales quickly cooled down and my hair stopped burning.
I turned back around and planted my forehead on the counter again. I couldn't hold it back anymore as I began to cry. I sat there crying for a whole minute until I felt a hoof on my shoulder. I slowly looked up and saw the bartender smiling.
"I can tell you are in pain for being different. No one in this bar judges you. That was weird what you just did there, but I'm willing to let it slide since I am not a dragon expert." he joked. I smiled slightly. I activated my horns and transformed back into my pony body. I stood up from the chair and summoned my magic and brought forth and huge bag of bits and gems. I dumped it on the counter and turned around to leave with the bartender looking like he was about to faint.
"Thanks for listening. I really needed to let some steam out." I began to walk out of the door until I heard the bartender calling out for me.
"Wait!" I turned around. "What do plan on doing Now?" I turned back around and walked out the door into the night.
"I plan on having my revenge"
