“So let me get this straight,” said Rainbow, who held a cookie in one hand. “Your from this weird place called Gravity Falls, where tons of weird shenanigans happen?”
“Well... yeah and-”
“What kind of weird stuff happens? Do you fight monsters? Did gravity ever go flip-flop once? Oh, or did you ever-” Pinkie was hushed when Applejack shoved an apple into her mouth, shushing the hyperactive girl.
“Pinkie; give the poor fella a chance to speak. Sorry about our friend, she can be... overwhelming,” said Applejack.
“It’s... alright,” said Uni, waving his hand. “You sure have a lot of new friends Sunshine; the old gang would of wanted to see you one last time before you... well, moved.”
“Can you please stop with that nickname... It’s so embarrassing for you to bring that back,” said Sunset. Sunset began to slide off her seat, shrinking away from the conversation.
The rest of the girls giggled from the now shy Sunset, while Uni on the other hand stared obliviously at the current situation. The cafeteria was brimming with energy; news of the transfer student spread quickly as some students take a glance at Uni and his interactions with the Rainbooms. Nothing much is known about Uni, but many rumors of him acting similar to Rainbow Dash… only with a few slight differences.
“So Uni dear, how did you meet Sunset? Sunset gave us… a little bit about how she met you, but it would be wonderful if I heard your side of the story,” asked Rarity, clasping both hands together.
Uni turned to look at Sunset who was being comforted by Fluttershy, smoothing her hair every once in awhile. “Well… it started one fateful- Wait; I think I should tell it from the very very beginning,” said Uni.
It was my seventh birthday party on a hot summer’s day; I could still remember the smell of cake and the laughter of other kids like myself back then. The many adults talked with one another while I simply played with other kids my age. When everyone was distracted for one second, I decided to take a stroll through my favorite forest path; I don’t know why I love it so much… must be because it was my mother’s favorite spot to walk too. I remember there was this lovely tree at the end of the path; it was smaller than the other gigantic trees but something about it made me all warm inside… like I had some strong connection to it or something. Well as I was making my way to it, I heard some sudden rustling coming from my left; I was halfway through the path and gone through it dozen of times. For some unexplained reason, animal wildlife never seemed to be spotted around that path… my mother mentioned something about the place being special or something, whatever she meant it was safe to walk, so when I heard some noise coming from those bushes I was curious to find out what was causing it… To my surprise I was going to meet possibly the most special person in my life ever.
Seven years ago in the past; Gravity Falls, Oregon
“Hello? Is someone there?” asked young Uni.
The rustling continued to grow louder with each step I neared the bush; right when I was about to move the shrubbery, something came rushing out and crashed right into me. My first reaction of course was to begin swinging my arms around wildly… big mistake.
“GHAAAH!” I continued my blind onslaught until when I stopped to look, I found a girl who was slightly taller than I rubbing the top of her head; her face was wet (was she crying?) either because of my sudden attack or from wandering the forest alone. While she did looked older I could tell she was around my age. I stopped immediately and bent down to help her stand up; at first she wobbled a little and tried to steady herself by leaning against the nearby trees.
“Are you alright? I am soooo sorry, I heard some noise from that bush and you ran right into me and I thought some animal was attacking me and-”
“I-I-Its alright; I should have been more careful in the fu-” The strange girl stopped speaking and stared wide-eyed at me as if I were some kind of alien or something. She should look herself in the mirror, she looks like some sort of living bacon creature. Uhmmmm… bacon. Back to my story; she shook her sudden shock away and finished her sentence. “ture.”
“Uhhh, is something wrong?” asked Young Uni.
“N-nothing… I was just… surprised that… Where am I?” asked the mysterious girl, taking her surroundings for the first time.
The mysterious girl stared awestruck at her surroundings taking every detail; every leaf, every stick, every rock. She even began to take a look of herself as if she never saw herself at all in her entire life. She began to play with her fingers by touching the fabric of her clothing, which she also took a surprise to too. She began to touch everything she was capable touching… until she started grasping for… “WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOOOOOA! What do you think your doing?” asked young Uni, taking careful steps away from the mysterious girl.
“I’m sorry… I’m just a little… disoriented right now,” said the mysterious girl.
“Dis-what?” asked young Uni.
“You know disoriented; when your confused or out of touch.” I gave the mysterious girl a look of confusion I wasn’t that far adept in vocabulary yet; in return she sighed and gave a better way of understanding her situation. “Its like when you’re lost in a mall and can’t find your way out or can’t find your family.”
“Ohhhhh; gotcha,” said young Uni, responding to the explanation. “By the way; what’s your name…” I stared at the mysterious girls strange looking hair and decided to give her a nickname that would befit her. “Bacon-Hair!”
At that moment before Uni could continue the rest of his story, a few of Sunset’s friends; especially Rainbow started laughing hysterically, slamming her fist on the cafeteria table they were sitting on. Applejack crushed the apple juice in her hand while Pinkie Pie sputtered some chocolate milk she was drinking. Rarity tried to stifle a laugh but had a hard time holding it in; as for Fluttershy she gave a few giggles but calmed down Sunset who suddenly exploded into life from her sudden shyness. “I THOUGHT WE PROMISED NEVER TO MENTION THAT… That… DUMB NICKNAME EVER AGAIN!” shouted Sunset; a tinge of red forming on her cheeks.
“Oh come on, Sunset; it wasn’t that bad,” said Uni, grinning.
“YEAH! At least he changed it into… Sunshine,” said Rainbow, covering her mouth as a few snorts came out. Sunset glared daggers at Rainbow, but she was busy laughing from sudden mention of an old-time nickname that Sunset regretted ever being given to her.
“Besides; I’m only telling them a story, I won’t ever mention that nickname ever again… Until I finish the story, alright,” said Uni.
“You promise?”
“Absolutely!”
“If you promise, then Pinkie Promise”
“Pinkie what?” asked Uni, confused. “What’s a Pinkie Promise?”
Pinkie scooted over to Uni and whispered to him a shortened version of the Pinkie Swear. After understanding, he began the rite of the Pinkie Swear. “Cross my heart hope to fly,” said Uni, placing his hand and remembering to form it into a fist on his eye. “Stick a cupcake in my eye.”
“Good; now if you break a Pinkie Promise, a lot of bad things will happen if you do so,” said Sunset.
“Yeah yeah; but I can still mention it until after the story’s over, right?” asked Uni, looking at Pinkie.
“Uhm hmmm; that’s right! So continue with your story!” said Pinkie, bouncing with anticipation.
“Alright… Now, where was I...”
Her first reaction was by staring at me; at first I thought she was going to pulverize me were I stood. Luckily she blushed profusely and began to wave her arms wildly in anger. “WHAT YOU MEAN BY BACON-HAIR! I’M NOT A PIECE OF MEAT!” shouted ‘Bacon-Hair’.
“Well whatever… Hey, you wanna see something cool!?” asked young Uni.
Before ‘Bacon-Hair’ could speak, I grabbed hold of her arm and began dragging her with me. She was a bit angry that I began dragging her with me, but was curious of what I was going to show her. Once we arrived at the end of that path, we both witnessed a beautiful sight; in the center was a tree that had it’s branches extended as far as it could in the small space it was given. The branches were surprisingly thin and held a beautiful array of colorful leaves like red, green, yellow, orange, purple, and others I wasn’t able to name off back then. My mother told me the tree was special and every season would stay the same no matter how much it’s surroundings may change; she even said that in a storm, this single spot would always stay sunny and untouched by natural occurrences… like it was protected by an invisible dome.
“It’s cool right?” asked young Uni, turning to see ‘Bacon-Hair’s’ reaction. When I turned to see, she was staring with a gaze of wonder; her mouth was agape and she nearly stepped over me when she approached the tree. I watched in fascination of her curiosity and followed behind; she began to touch the tree, but retracted her hand back until she placed whole palm on it’s bark. The tree’s bark was surprisingly smooth and was cool to the touch, even though it was summer; what was most curious was the tree gave off a warmth, that eased the soul… She sat down and began to take quick nap, leaning against the tree. I joined with her and began to sleep too; when we both enjoyed the scenery around us, she spoke up and showed how relaxed she was.
“Sunset,” said ‘Bacon-Hair’.
“Hmmmm? Sunset what, Bacon-Hair?” asked young Uni.
‘Bacon-Hair’ was surprisingly relaxed and ignored my mention of her new nickname, and turned to look me in the eye; she was smiling and gave off a warmth grin when she spoke her next line of words. “My name; it’s Sunset Shimmer,” said Sunset.
“Sun...set,” said young Uni, replaying the name in his mind. “That’s… a nice name… Sunset...”
The two of us enjoyed our relaxation in this small peaceful area; until I remembered a very important detail. “MY BIRTHDAY! I NEED TO GET BACK BEFORE EVERYONE STARTS WORRYING ABOUT WHERE I AM!” shouted young Uni, standing up immediately. Before headed off; I stopped mid-run and turned to face Sunset, and extended a hand toward her.
“Hey; you wanna come to my birthday party?” asked young Uni, grinning.
Sunset stared at the hand and after a few silent seconds nodded and grabbed hold of my hand. “I accept your invitation; uhmmm...” said Sunset.
“Uni; you can call me Uni,” said young Uni, raising a thumbs up with his other hand.
The two of us made our way back to where I stayed; and after a few scoldings from some of the adults I continued enjoying my party with my new friend, Sunset. While the two of us enjoyed my birthday, by playing with the other kids, hitting the pinata, and eating some cake, everyone had to go home. The only people who were left was myself and Sunset, I was going to invite her to stay at my place but said she needed to go back home. I wanted to lead her back… but…
Uni sat still on his side of the cafeteria table whilst everyone continued to look at him, worrying that something happened between him and Sunset. “Did… did something happen?” asked Fluttershy, who was now interested in the story.
“Well; when Sunset was leaving, I saw her going back to the path that led to the spot that I showed her before. I followed of course, but when I was unable to catch up since it was getting dark soon and the only light was from my own flashlight, I could barely see where she went off to. When I saw her took a turn to the same bushes I saw her came through, I followed behind… except… when I came through to the other side… she vanished,” said Uni, his face showing both confusion and worry. “Sunset somehow vanished into thin air, and all that was there… was a small mirror on the ground; it was a simple hand-held mirror you can hold to look at only your face… I thought it was yours Sunset, but it had no name on it...”
Uni looked up after staring at the table to take a glance at Sunset. “Sunset… what… happened to you that night? Where did you go and… Why did you go into the forest?” asked Uni.
“Well… I… I...” Sunset began to twiddle with her fingers and looked away from Uni, staring at the far wall of the cafeteria across where she sat; of course Uni became suspicious but awaited Sunset to answer first. “I… had my reasons… there are some things you don’t know about me Uni; we may had created a close friendship that day but… there some things… I’m not ready to tell you yet.”
Sunset’s friends watched where they stood, looking at Uni’s response. Uni sat where he was and took a sip of his juice and it placed back down; with a sigh he stood up and began to leave the table. “I need to use the washroom,” said Uni, leaving.
As Uni left the cafeteria, Applejack was the first to speak up from the awkward moment. “You… haven’t told him yet… have yeah Sunset,” said Applejack.
Sunset kept quiet and took a few looks at each one of her friends, ending her long staring at Applejack. “...Do you think… I did the right thing by not telling him AJ?” asked Sunset. “Do you think… that I should of told him; I mean… back then… I was a wreck. I just left Celestia’s teachings and ran away, and the only reason that I even went back was so I could hide somewhere and find a way to enact my revenge… but now… things changed. I’m not the same person I was back then… I’m… different.”
“Sunset, even if Uni never knew the real you it doesn’t mean his not your friend still… Out of all of us, his possibly your first genuine friend when you came to this world… so don’t loose hope yet,” said Rarity, placing a hand on her shoulder. Sunset looked at her many close friends, and smiled a small but content smile.
“Thank you… everyone; I don’t know if I could ever be able to see face to face with him ever without any of you with me,” said Uni.
“Don’t mention it Sunset; besides, the guy lives in a town in the middle of nowhere. Compare to us, he probably seen way weirder things than us,” said Rainbow, grinning. “The only difference is that he never fought back a trio of sirens that tried to brainwash the whole school!”
“Yeah! Not to mention when that giant ghost pony that appeared when the six of us, and Princess Twilight joined together and stopped their plans,” said Pinkie. “It was the best battle, ever!” Pinkie spread both her arms wide; her left hand which held cookie that was bitten by her flew off and hit smack in the face a familiar blue haired boy. Of course this boy continued walking like nothing happened, tempted to take a bite of the mysterious flying cookie himself.
“It was an interesting day… I wonder how Princess Twilight is doing? Do you know Sunset?” asked Fluttershy.
Princess Twilight… “No I haven’t received news of her yet, but she’ll come around soon… Maybe when the next time she comes to visit us, I could introduce her to Uni… as long he doesn’t find her popping out of the portal the school statue of course,” said Sunset, smiling sheepishly.
“Why if that happened, poor Uni would probably faint,” said Rarity.
“You mean, you would faint; I’m pretty sure Uni would of ignored it like everyone else,” said Applejack.
“It is a possibility… speaking of Uni… He sure is taking his time,” said Rarity. “I know we girls love to take our time when going to the washroom, but it’s already been fifteen minutes; I hope he didn’t eat something bad.”
“Good thing it ain’t Taco Tuesday; that sure gave me a kicker when ate those tacos,” said Rainbow, reminiscing of the memory.
Elsewhere; Uni strolls around the school halls having passed the school washroom, and decided to go outside. Once opening and going through the school’s front doors, Uni for the first time ever took to taking in the school’s front lawns’ sights; especially the statue of a horse in the center. Taking a seat on the steps, Uni took a quiet glance at his surroundings; for a town that was bigger than his, it was sure quieter… it shows how rowdy his hometown really is.
Uni stretched both his arms and shoved his right hand into one of his many pants’ pockets; after a few finger grabbing seconds, Uni pulled out a phone. It wasn’t something special like phones people use nowadays; it was a simple flip-phone. Uni opened his phone and began clicking some random buttons until a series of pictures appeared; strolling through each picture, Uni stopped on one particular one. Unbeknownst to Sunset, during Uni’s seventh birthday, one of the adults took a photo of Uni and her with their knowledge. It was only two years ago did he found out someone took the picture of him and young Sunset back then that they gave he the photo considering they didn’t permission and were happy to give the photo to him since it was the only photo of the strange girl that Uni met as a child.
Uni smiled to himself but as swift as the wind, he closed the picture and continued to scroll through the pictures until another picture, one that was recently taken showed a map of the whole town; Canterlot. In reality, Uni wasn’t here because he was actually transferred… well this was half true; an incident did happen at the school… an incident caused by him and his friends. Why though did this incident happen… three reasons; firstly, after one of his friends hacked through the school board’s list of students across the country, it was revealed that a Sunset Shimmer was attending CHS; of course Uni needed to make sure if this was the same Sunset he met all those years ago.
Secondly, Uni’s knows nothing about his father, but apparently Uni’s mother met him in this town… question is… doesn’t anyone know if he still lives here.
And finally… the true reason to why Uni’s really here… Bill Cipher; Bill, Uni’s partner and roommate (both physically and mentally), was getting strange readings from this town. You see, ever since Uni met Bill the two… had been ‘fixing’ problems around their little town… in short… they were super heroes. Well to be more specific the were problem solvers; and their next problem was apparently somewhere in this town. From what Bill could surmise, a portal of sort was somewhere here but the problem wasn’t the portal… it was what came out.
Uni stood up and approached the statue in the center; placing his hand against the statue, Uni expected to feel the cold touch of stone… instead something else happen. Uni’s hand went through the staute… it felt strange, like his hand was going through a tub of jello… but it felt warm when he did… almost… familiar. Uni shook the feeling out and pulled his hand out; it seems he found the portal… now all that was left… was to find out if ‘anything’ came through.
Uni was about to turn back and go back inside the school and head back to the cafeteria with everyone else… when he saw something. It was for a short moment, but after taking a second glance he saw… an ‘irregularity’; across where he stood was a strange trio of girls. Now there was nothing weird about that per say… but… to Uni, they were indeed strange.
For a brief moment if anyone looked carefully, they would of saw Uni’s shrouded in a strange glow… that would be his psychic abilities. Now not the false kind that many of the skeptical kind would think but, pure, mental, powers; these are the side-effects for having your soul fused with a demon dream. With Bill’s guidance, and a bit of Uni’s own flair, he was able to see for who they really are… sort of; every living being has a certain trait to them… a ‘mark’ you could say. Humans left a blue energy, animals were green, while other mythical creatures were ranging from the full on color spectrum of sorts… however… beings from other worlds though… they left something else… red.
As Uni continued to stare, the three girls who to the untrained eye looked normal… were shrouded in the red mist… not only that… but Uni could almost see the small glimmer of a creature. It looked… sea-like; that was the only clue to go by for him. Having found his target, Uni would of went to do what he came here to do… sadly, his in the middle of town and he promised to return from his supposed bathroom break; turning around and deactivating his powers Uni turned around… only to give a cold glare at the three strange girls.
“I won’t allow these monsters to harm my new friends… Especially you Sunset,” said Uni, muttering. Uni left returning back inside the school.
Sonata Dusk; the third member of the Dazzlings and closest thing to being their youngest member (even tough she and Aria are the same age), shivered… in the middle of spring… on a windless day. Instantly felt it, the cold glare of someone staring at her; she spun around to find the source of the glare… but found nobody standing on the street, especially across the road. Her fellow companions didn’t ignore this and turned around to, only to stare at their blue-skinned friend. “What’s the matter not Sonata? Don’t tell me you need to go again,” said Adagio.
Sonata stopped her searching as her eyes softened, but show sign of caution at the same time. “It’s… nothing… I thought I saw or… felt something… but it was nothing…” said Sonata, rubbing her arm in embarrassment.
Adagio stopped her annoyed glare and placed a firm hand on Sonata’s shoulder; the taco-loving girl looked up at her leader, having been shocked from the sudden touch. “Look… I know we can’t forget what we done before… That we nearly lost… this,” said Adagio, showing the red gem. “But we’ll fix our mistakes… someday… so whatever is bothering you just tell me, alright.”
Sonata took a good side glance but returned her gaze back to Adagio; with a quick exhale Sonata spook. “Well… I thought someone was staring at us… gave me the chills,” said Sonata. “I can still feel even now.”
“That’s what’s bothering you? Oh bother; it better not be that creeper from before. I told that bastard if he tried going near you again I was going to tear his little head and shove it up his-”
Adagio shoved her hand onto Aria’s mouth, silencing her. “Not in public; now come on, I don’t want to be late this time. Their selling twenty percent off today, and I am not going to miss it because of some weird-do,” said Adagio.
“...Can we buy some tacos while we’re at the mall too?” asked Sonata, innocently combing her hair with her hand. Adagio gave Sonata good stare, but sighed having surrendering to her cute innocent look.
“Alright; we’ll buy some tacos-”
“YEAH!” shouted Sonata, hugging Adagio. “THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ADAGIO! YOUR THE BEST!”
Adagio hated hugs… but she tried her best to stomach the feeling; she patted Sonata’s head with a light pat. The three sirens made their way to the shopping mall to buy today’s dinner. Right before they left the street, Sonata took a quick glance at CHS. I hope it was just that weird-do… because whoever was staring… they weren’t interested one bit on know me at all.
“SONATA!” shouted Aria.
“Coming!” Sonata followed quickly behind, giggling (while drooling) of the thought of eating her favorite food in the entire world.
Back at the school; Uni went back to everyone at the cafeteria and continued with small talk. The bell rang and the remaining half of classes continued afterwords. Luckily Uni remaining classes were the same as Sunset’s and was able to have a less awkward time in class and was able to hangout with her at the same time.
Soon everyone began to flood out of the school and headed their separate ways; as Uni was about to leave… I need to find those girls; and once I do I-
“UNI! HOLD UP!” shouted Sunset. Uni turned around and saw Sunset running toward him; he smiled and waved towards her. Once Sunset stopped in front of him, Sunset’s other friends followed behind as well.
“Is there something wrong Sunset?” asked Uni.
“No...” said Sunset, out of breath. “But… there is… something… I need… to tell you. Are you busy… tomorrow?”
Uni stopped his own breath, and thought what Sunset just said as Uni’s whole world started to slow down to a crawl.
...Is she… is she asking me on a date?
Uni’s face slowly grew to a bright red as the world returned to its normal time. “N-n-n-no; w-w-wh-y?”
“Well… me and the girls are having a picnic; do you wanna-”
“OF COURSE! I’D LOVE TO!”
“REALLY!? I mean… really?”
“Yeah! Like old times.”
“Cool… come at the hill at the far edge of town with the single tree at its top…”
“Alright; when?”
“Next Sunday… is ten o’clock alright for you?”
Uni nodded happily, grinning stupidly too. “Yeah yeah; I’ll be there as quick as a tiger.”
“I think you mean leopard...”
“THAT TOO! Well… see ya on Sunday!” Before Sunset could say another word, Uni went running disappearing behind the school’s wall.
“...See yeah,” said Sunset. In that instant Sunset collapsed, kneeling down where she stood. She felt a hand on her shoulder and when she looked her friend Applejack smiled; her hat tipping a little bit.
“I guessing I need to make that three pies now, huh?” said Applejack.
“YEAH! Before it was a good get-together party; but now its going to be a welcoming party!” shouted Pinkie, throwing confetti.
“Was it just me but… did it seem that Uni was happier than usual when Sunset was the one who invited him… It may seems he may have thought you and him were going on a-” At that instant Sunset rose and inhaled a large amount of air… and screamed.
Everyone; even some random pedestrians who were walking by were spooked by the sudden noise, even covering their ears too. Once Sunset’s screaming was done, she looked around embarrassingly; blushing bright pink. “I-I-I… I’m sorry,” said Sunset, waving shyly.
Everyone continued to walk by… quickly; after that was done she turned swiftly at a rather frazzled Rarity. “Never, ever, speak-that-word!” said Sunset, resolve in her voice.
“Bu-”
“Up up up… don’t,” said Sunset, placing a single finger on her friend’s lips.
Rarity squinted her eyes, and slowly removed her friend’s finger and continued to speak. “All I’m saying darling is that he may become upset if he finds out that it… wasn’t what he thought it was originally. So it’s best we tell him, personally,” said Rarity.
“Yeah there’s a problem about that; none of has his phone number,” said Rainbow.
“Then we’ll just find where he lives,” said Applejack, crossing both arms.
“Uhm girls...” said Fluttershy. Everyone directed their attention at Fluttershy who was still staring where Uni went. “...Where does Uni live?”
At that moment; the Mane 6 stood there dumbfounded at their new predicament.
“...Oh…” said Sunset, having realize that now.
Meanwhile but not too far; Uni skipped like a kid in a candy shop… Nah, not in a candy shop… but in a candy mall. He was giddy with excitement having his oldest crush asking him out; it was a dream come true for him. “Finally, it’s actually happening!” shouted Uni, spinning around a convenient lamp post.
What’s convenient partner?
“GAH!” shouted Uni. Uni turned around to see Bill Cipher floating behind him… in a rather weird pose to mention. “Don’t do that!”
Do what? I’m a spirit for bloody sakes Uni; how in the world you’d notice me or not in the first place. I’m freaking floating!
Uni was about to argue but, slowly lowered his finger in defeat. “…Good point. Speaking of which; where were you anyway?” asked Uni.
Nowhere… But the real question is… Where we going to stay? You never really thought of where exactly where we be make our crib, now did you.
“I’m working on that; but I found three anomalies and the portal. I already sealed the portal but the anomalies… I lost,” said Uni.
Well that don’t matter if we can’t find a place to hang about!
“I SAID I’M WORKING ON THAT!”
“Working on what, exactly Mr Uni?” Uni froze like an icicle; turning ever slowly, the one who spoke was none other than Vice-Principal Luna… behind her, Principal Celestia. The authoritative figures for the school stood where they were; Luna having her arms crossed and showing an inquisitive eyebrow raise while Celestia placed one hand on her mouth, trying her best to hide her laughter fit. “You mind telling me, Mr Uni… Just what are you doing in the middle of the school’s parking lot… talking to yourself for?” asked Luna.
Any memory of Luna of when Uni met her before slowly disappeared; slowly replaced by a woman who was to feared… and respected. Uni stiffened and kept standing not daring to move an inch. CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP! SHE CAUGHT ME TALKING TO BILL!
You're screwed partner.
“Shut up,” said Uni, in a whisper.
“What was that!?” said Luna, having heard the whisper.
“I-I-I… Miss...Luna-”
“Don’t you ‘Miss Luna’ me; I don’t know what your doing here but, you and I am going to have a talk after we return home.”
“Please I wasn’t… wait… ‘we’?”
“Well what else; your principal sent Celestia and I a letter about you, and strictly said that we needed to take a close eye on you. So the best way we could do that… was by letting you stay with my sister and I.”
Uni was shocked; he was the one who sent the letter to trick this school’s principal to think he was a transfer student… but he never thought it went as far as to living with them… then it came to him…
“Bill...” said Uni.
Celestia walked toward Uni; Uni thought he was in trouble but instead, Celestia kneel one leg down and met her eyes toward Uni’s. “Now don’t be afraid Uni; I know my sister may look… frightening,” said Celestia, taking a good look at Luna; who was grumbling about something. “But she can be… friendly, sometimes. She’s also more knowledgable around to playing video games so you won’t feel lonely when living with two grown women.” At that moment Celestia winked; it both gave Uni a shiver down his spine… and calm feeling too at the same time. Something about Celestia was… strange; taking measures Uni’s used his powers and as surprising as this situation was… she was just an ordinary human, as well as Luna.
I guess she’s just a weird, but wise principal is all… Kind of reminds me of… Mom… That thought may Uni frown; Celestia too noticed and smiled in returned, placing her hand on Uni’s cheek. “Now… I know that… you had a rough childhood… But I promise I won’t let you down… It’s why I’m the principal of the only school in this little town of ours… And I hope you feel welcomed too; there are a lot of people here that you could make friends with, that I am sure of,” said Celestia, rising back to her full height. “Now; let’s head back home. I’m going to show you my famous ‘Mac n Cheese’, it’s Luna’s favorite.”
“Mac n Cheese!” shouted Luna. “SWEET!” Luna instantly realized her sudden change of personality and began to cough viciously. “I mean… I suppose we’ll have that for tonight; let’s go.” Even though Luna kept a straight face, after passing Uni, she began to smile giddily.
Uni looked back at Celestia and pointed a thumb at Luna. “Is she always like that?” asked Uni.
“Sometimes; but you should see her when she’s playing online with other players,” said Celestia, giggling. “She was half-asleep during that day when we were working. I found her splayed on inside the janitor’s asleep with an empty can of Red Bull clutched in her hand.”
Celestia walked passed Uni, but turned her head to urge him to follow to her parked vehicle. Uni followed and after seating in the previous seat he was on during this morning; Bill appeared beside him. Where were you really? I haven’t seen the rest of the day since Sunset found me.
...I was… busy you could say… Bill’s expression changed, his eye showing the slight bit of malice.
...Really busy…
At that same time as Celestia drove her vehicle away, and Sunset and friends left the school’s front lawn; the school was quiet… then from the statue, the portal began to brighten. Slowly it was dim… then it shined like the sun… then stopped… but something changed… something changed…
…
…
…
...Something… appeared; sprouting out like a freshly planted flower was a hand… it was gray and emitted a purple glow…
A malicious voice was heard… none-like anyone has ever heard. “Seems things are going to get… chaotic.”
A laughter ever so haunting rang across the small town… ‘Something’ walked out of the portal...
