The Great Arids. A long forgotten region south of Pre-war Equestria's border, cut off from the rest of the world. Heard about only in passing stories at your local post-war bar.

No sane pony ventures to it, for they fear for their lives when trekking through the dangerous mountain range swallowing the region. Those that do are never heard from again. It doesn't stop the rumors from growing about what lies within those mountains. Rumors of demons roaming the night, treasures of untold wonder, unpredictable storms that swallow expeditions into nothingness, peculiar atmosphere, abominations unlike no other mutants, and sleeping giants.

For some, the harrowing journey to the region is worth the adventure. For some go for the thrill. Some go to seek and discover within the region...

...some even go to get lost; to never be seen again by the world.

Trade "Wayward" Wind is a soldier of The Enclave that survived the faction's failed Wasteland siege. With no purpose for his instated Division, his life was mediocre with nothing to do but feel the days go by. But when his first mission brings fire and destruction to the secluded remnant, he leaves his home motivated by his swelling emotions and questions.

This is his journey. A journey brought on by a heavy burden...
