Most ponies still remember the day when the letter came through.
The day when the views on the world shattered with a piece of parchment only reaching one thousand words long.
The day when a singular pony decided to find the gods themselves with a basic sheet of paper.
The day that they realized that they were mere mortals.

I came up with the idea in my college after seeing the words mere mortals and had a thought of how ponies seem to bow down to a pony whose benevolence is only evident from what she tells them.
