Chapters 'Damn you pigeons! I swear when I get out of here I will make your kind extinct just like I did to those stupid Basalisks!' I roared in my mind as for the millionth time a pigeon decided to use me as it's personal toilet.
Yet even as I ranted and raved in my mind about how I would kill those flying rodents for doing this to me I knew they were empty threats. I had been trapped in this exact position in this exact place for so many years I have lost all track of time! For over a thousand years I have been trapped in stone because of those damn Princesses and for what? Because when they asked me to destroy an opposing army I did so? Bunch of backstabbing horses I say!
Still some of it may have been my fault as well as even I had to admit that I was a bit...unstable. But being given the form and power of Broly can do that to someone who just a short time ago had been nothing more than an average joe heading to con to have a good time.
Oh how I remember that particular day. Dressing up as the legendary super saiyan Broly, the trip to con, the various stalls I visited and finally meeting that man. The man I'm talking about is of course the one and only Merchant. I had bought Broly's golden neck piece from him for twenty bucks and suddenly found myself in the magical land of Equestria not soon after.
Now I was not new to the Brony community and admit I watched the show quite a few times myself however this version of Equestria was not like the others. First off was the fact I was thrown in well before the timeline for the show and that all of the 'ponies' were anthro's. Meaning they had the regular pony-like traits but were also humanoid only with hooves instead of feet.
Turns out Equestria was a pretty war torn place back in the day so it wasn't hard for a born, or maybe reborn in this case, fighting machine like myself to find some work. Those were pretty happy times for me as not being used to the power and insane bloodlust that came from such power and my new race it was easy to keep under control due to the constant battles I found myself in.
Yet even so I felt my mind steadily slipping away as I was consumed in the various battles of the world. Eventually I ended up joining the ponies and by proxy the Princesses. They respected my power and promised me powerful enemies to fight as long as I served them so serve them I did. Overtime the Princesses and I developed a close friendship brought on by constant fighting and countless time spent together.
Yet soon enough enemies began to become scarce while my lust for battle grew to the point I started exterminating entire races to try and quell my urges. Without knowing it I had truly succumb to Broly's insane saiyan nature. Even so the Princesses let me do as I pleased under their banner all the way up until the wars had finally ended. The ink for the treaty's wasn't even dry yet before they used the elements to imprison me in stone.
The Element's of Harmony however did more than just imprison me as they also gave me back my sanity at the same time so it wasn't completely a bad thing. With my sanity back I quickly regretted everything I had done up until that point yet even so I could feel the touch of my violent saiyan nature scratching at the back of my mind. What no one really knows however is that when your imprisoned in stone you are conscious the whole. Damn. TIME!
It was utter hell and I couldn't do anything about it! The princesses were smart to imprison me while I was in my base form as I didn't have the strength to break the enchantment and while imprisoned it seems I couldn't transform into my more powerful forms either. This left me up shits creek without a damn paddle in having to wait to be freed.
So now here I stood in Celestia's damn garden with nothing but shit happy pigeons to keep me company until something came along to free me.
My thoughts were broken however when I heard the clattering of hooves and I watched as surprisingly a very familiar mare appeared. She was a pink alicorn with curly yellow, purple and magenta hair pulled into a ponytail and was around six feet tall with a very curvy figure with a high C-cup bust if I had to guess and purple colored eyes. She was currently wearing a pink tube top with her Crystal heart cutie mark on the front and a pair of tight fitting jeans.
This was non other than Princess Mi Amore Cadenza or as she preferred, Cadence. I watched on curiously as she approached my statue with a curious look in her eyes.
"Strange I've never seen you here before. Then again I don't usually come this far into the garden." she said to herself as she began to examine me.
'Take a picture it will last longer' I think as she continues to examine my stone covered form before stopping in front.
Kneeling down I see her scrub away some of the vines that had grown over my time here. I had tried to read the inscription myself quite a few times but too bad so sad I can't move my damn head. Maybe now I can finally found out what old Sunbutt and Moonbutt wrote about me down there if Cadence reads it outloud.
"Huh, 'In honor of Equestria's most powerful warrior Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan!?' I can't believe there aren't more statues of him around!" she said as I saw her look back up at me with awe and what I saw respect.
I for one was truly shocked they would say such a nice thing about me. What I expected was more along the lines of 'Bloodthirsty Warmonger' but hey I'll take it! Maybe they weren't complete and utter dicks for imprisoning me after all! That or they just didn't want anyone to know that they basically had a walking holocaust on their payroll and didn't do anything about it till the very end.
"Wait what's this?" wondered Cadence aloud and drawing my attention back to the mare as she leaned down to touch my pedestal once again.
As I wondered what else could possibly be written down there a bright flash erupted when Cadence's finger made contact. I was blinded a bit as well but since I couldn't really 'blink' my situation was a lot worse than hers. Just as I was about to unleash a mental tirade at how stupid and unfair not being able to blink was I stopped when I sensed something... off about my prison.
After delving a bit deeper I found that my prison was actually weaker! I don't know what Cadence did but I wasn't about to let this opportunity pass me by and started to increase my base forms power to it's max. I could literally feel the cracks forming all over my prison and from the scared look on Cadence's face she noticed as well.
'Almost there! Just one more push!' I mentally scream and with one final push my prison explodes in a shower of stone.
With my prison broken for the first time in over a millennia I could finally feel the wind as it brushed over my bare chest and through my long, spiky black hair. The various smells carried by said wind were only made better with my enhanced sense of smell. Looking down I saw a shocked Cadence looking up at me unable to comprehend what she was seeing.
Then quicker than she could react I scooped her into my arms in a massive bear hug and started to swing her around as she screamed in surprise. It was pretty easy for me to do since I was seven feet tall even in base form.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! You have no idea what kind of hell it was being trapped as a lawn ornament! I could kiss you right now if it wasn't for the fact you were with Shining Armor!" I scream out only to freeze at her next words.
"What are you talking about!? We're just friends!" she yelled out.
'Ooooh shit.' I think to myself at what the timeline could possibly be. From my knowledge Cadence and Shining either hooked up in school or once he joined the guard. If neither one happened then that meant the timeline for the show still hadn't started yet and Cadence was still in school or at the very least just graduated.
"Uh sure! That's me just...rambling." I say quickly before I let go and step away. I couldn't even look at her for fear she'd call me out and demand how I know Shining but fortunately, or unfortunately, for me a distraction came in the form of pounding hooves.
In seconds I was held at spear point by the royal guards. I always found it weird how they almost all looked the same but never really questioned it.
"Stand down citizen! For trespassing on castle grounds you are under arrest!" declared one of the guards.
"Well then your a thousand years too late for that pal. I've been a special addition to this place long since before the guard was even established." I deadpanned making all of the guards look at me in confusion especially Cadence.
"That's enough Captain! I will take things from here." said a regal yet motherly sounding voice that I recognized almost instantly and made me tense up at the sound of it.
The guards then parted to reveal a mare who my instincts were now yelling at me to kill but thankfully I managed to shut them down. I promised myself a long time ago I would never allow my insanity to get the better of me and damnit I wasn't gonna brake it!
The mare was by all account's a goddess what with her shining white fur, rainbow color hair that blew in a non-existent wind and shining purple colored eyes. She stood at six foot ten and had a form that put even super models to shame with what had to be F-cup breasts and a natural hourglass figure despite the fact she ate way more cake than what was healthy. For her attire she wore a white greek style dress with golden accents with a split down the middle showing an unbelievable amount of cleavage along with her usual regalia.
I did not dare stare however as I instead focused on her eyes which were in what I liked to dub 'Princess mode.' What this meant is she was all business and wouldn't take anything less than everything from anyone. She can actually be real scary when she want's to be.

Neither of us opted to speak up as I was reliving our past experiences together and figured she was doing the same as well. We got along well in the past but once my insanity started taking the reigns our relationship grew rather strained, especially the one time she pushed me so far I nearly ended up killing her out of anger. A major low point from me at that time which ended up with me destroying an entire wendigo army just to relieve my tension.
Still I couldn't just let this silence go on. Right now she was probably contemplating if I was still a murderous psychopath or not.
"So....can I have something to eat?" I say with a smile which makes all the guards face fault and Celestia and Cadence sweat drop. It was a really happy day when I learned basic anime responses like that happened here and oh man did I enjoy them.
"....typical Broly. It's good to have you back." said Celestia with a smile which I return before pulling her into a tight hug. She struggles for a moment in protest but eventually relaxes and returns the embrace.
"It's good to be back Celestia. I promise I won't let my saiyan side get the best of me again." I say and I can feel the lone tear that she sheds as it fells on my shoulder.
"I'll hold you to it. Now let's get you something to eat. A thousand years you must be starving and afterwards we can...discuss some things about where we go from here." she said as she lead me to the dinning hall with Cadence following close behind. First food and then I will figure out where I go from here. Still it really was good to be back.
[/ 'That's what you think! HAHAHAHAHA!'b] cried the embodiment of Broly's insanity before I squashed it down. Why can't things ever be simple?
It had been well over an hour since my 'revival' and I now found myself in the castle dinning room chowing down like there was no tomorrow. After all, over a thousand years of an unquenched saiyan appetite is nothing to scoff at. That is why for the past hour I have been putting the kitchen staff on overtime to keep up with my demand for food. So far I've eaten everything but the kitchen sink and was barely half way full!
Meanwhile Celestia, Cadence and a few guards were just standing by. The guards were in various states of shock and/or disgust, Cadence looked to be in awe at how much I was able to eat and Celestia was calmly sipping some tea as she had long since grown used to my eating habits. Her and her sister had tried, emphasis on tried, to teach me 'proper table etiquette' only to fail spectacularly. So overtime they had just learned to accept it, which I am thankful that she hadn't forgotten. In fact Celestia hadn't changed one bit since the last time I saw her, which was when she and Luna had me encased in stone.
Just the mere inkling of that memory brought untold rage and made my saiyan blood boil to make them pay for their betrayal. I squashed such thoughts down into the deepest parts of my mind however, as I had already sworn to not let my anger control me again. Being a man, or in this case saiyan, of my word was very important to me.
It was another hour later that I sat with a full stomach and four stacks of plates nearly reaching the ceiling. While the various kitchen staff started to take the plates away to be washed, along with complaining about my pit of a stomach, Celestia had decided to speak up. I was beginning to wonder when she would address the elephant in the room.
"Broly while it is good to have you back I must ask, are you well?" she asked as she stared intensely into my eyes.
While the others around us were confused at the simple question I understood perfectly what she meant. What she was really asking was if I was going to go insane again. Despite keeping myself in check so far I knew my sanity was on a thin thread and that one wrong move, or even a second of weakness and I would go back to the crazed killer I had been over a millennia ago. Taking a few moments to think of my answer I finally looked at Celestia and answered with complete honesty.
"Truthfully, I am not a hundred percent sure Celestia. However with some time, effort and a lot of help I will be." I said with a smile at the end. Celestia just stared at me for a few more moments before she let a smile of her own form.
"That's good to hear old friend. Now onto other matters. For one, what do you plan on doing since war has not been a problem for a very longtime, so your previous profession is not really needed at the moment." stated Celestia.
Just as I was starting to think of what I could possibly do the doors to the room were opened and a very familiar filly ran into the room. Said filly had purple colored fur with a straight darker purple mane and tail with a hot pink streak through it. She was about five feet tall from what I could guess, and she was dressed in a dark purple jacket over a white blouse and a short white skirt. This filly could be none other than Twilight Sparkle.
"Princess! I finished that assignment you ga-" she began until she saw me and froze with her mouth open.
The two of us just continued to stare at each-other for the next minute as I didn't know what to say and she was apparently in a state of shock. Just as I was about to ask if she was alright she disappeared in a purple blur. Then suddenly she was in my lap with her eyes looking up into mine with childish awe and wonder.
"Your the Legendary Warrior Broly!" she exclaimed making me sweatdrop at the rather blunt statement.
"Uh yeah that's me. And you are?" I asked despite already knowing who she was. The one thing I had done right during my time in Equestria was not tell Celestia or Luna my knowledge of the future. My mere presence already screwed up enough things with the timeline if I had to guess so no need to screw it up even more.
"My name is Twilight Sparkle and I'm Princess Celestia's student!" she exclaimed proudly making me smile at her childish antics.
"Well Miss Sparkle how old are you?" I asked so I could maybe get a grasp on what the timeline may be.
"I'm thirteen years old mister. Broly and don't call me Miss my name is Twilight!" she exclaimed with a pout that made me chuckle as I couldn't help but ruffle her mane a bit.
"Alright but only if you call me Broly, none of that 'mister' stuff, deal?"
"Deal! But if I may ask Broly, how old are you?" she asked innocently and the question itself stumped me. Out of the corner of my eye I could see the other ponies looking on with just as much interest.
I myself had no idea what my age was, due to the fact I was in Broly's adult body and was trapped for over a thousand years. Hell not even Celestia or Luna had asked such a simple question. Still I needed to answer her so I decided to say the age I was when I was first sent to Equestria.
"Well technically I am eighteen. I don't really count my time in stone." I said which made her look at me in happiness.
"Your just as old as Shiny and Cadence! Are all the stories about you true!? Did you really win the war against the Griffon's and Minotaur's singlehandedly!? Did yo-mph!" she started to say before I cut her off with a hand over her mouth.
"Slow down there kiddo, I don't even know what stories are told about me to begin with!" I said with a quick glance at Celestia making her blush a little bit in embarrassment. By god what stories did she tell about me!?
"Oh yeah I guess you wouldn't know being trapped in stone and all. But why were you trapped in stone, and will you be my friend?" she asked suddenly a bit shy.
"Well for your first question, that is too long to explain so maybe some other time. To answer your second question, yes I will be happy to be your friend." I answered. Her gaze turned sad when I didn't tell her the reason for my imprisonment, however she lit up like a firework when I said I would be her friend. She instantly wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me tightly while yelling, 'yes, yes, yes, yes,' repeatedly. She pulled away a minute or so later.
"Do you want to help me and Spike I the library Broly! We can even read one of the stories about you if you want." she asked eagerly and I couldn't resist the cuteness.
"Sure thing Twilight but I got something's to discuss with Celestia first. So I'll meet you there okay?" I said and she nodded happily before running off presumably towards the library.
As soon as Twilight was out of sight however my smile dropped and I turned to look at Celestia and Cadence. There were no more guards so I assumed she had sent them off once Twilight had arrived. I could see the sad smiles they were sporting as they stared at the spot Twilight had been. When they noticed me looking at them though they both sighed heavily, both already knew what I was going to ask.
"My student has very few friends, especially with her new status as my student. In fact I think she is even more alienated than ever because of it." said Celestia while Cadence turned her head away angrily.
"Oh please Auntie those brats are just jealous that their not in her position. I know you've heard all the rude things they say about her behind her back. Do you know that the guards have actually had to break up a few altercations when the students tried to get physical with her!" declared Cadence.
"Yes I've heard of those incidents. Not to mention that the guards have caught multiple intruders that were apparently ont heir way to Twilight's chambers. Seems my enemies are trying to get to me through her." said Celestia sadly.
As more and more things like this were being said I could feel my anger rise. I didn't give a damn who these bastards thought they were but I would not tolerate it! Twilight was one of my most favorite characters from the show and I would be damned if I let her get hurt when I had the power to stop it. So before Celestia or Cadence could continue I suddenly stood up startling the two of them.
"Broly what are yo-" began Celestia until I cut her off.
"You asked me what I planned to do now that I'm back Celestia? Well now I know, I want to be Twilight's personal guard." I said seriously surprising both princesses.
"What? But Broly why would you want to do something like that? Granted I know how defensive you are of those close to you but you've just met Twilight." pointed out Celestia.
"You act like that should matter? I want to be her bodyguard because I am the most qualified for the job. From what I see my reputation is still as feared as it was back during the wars so that should discourage any kidnappers right there. Second is that no little shits are gonna try to pick on her when I'm around, and finally I need to get caught up with the times and if Twilight is even half as smart as I think she is then she can help me immensely." I pointed out and watched as Celestia adopted a thinking pose to think over my reasons. Eventually she gave a resigned sigh before smiling at me happily.
"I can't argue with your reasons Broly. So I officially name you Twilight Sparkle's personal bodyguard. The guards and public will be informed of your new station and just to keep you entertained whenever your not guarding Twilight I'll have a training ground built just for your use." she said with a smirk at the end. I had to admit that the mare knew me and my love for training. Plus this would help keep my battle urges in check for now.
"Well now that that's settled I'll be on my way. But can one of you point me in the direction of the library?" I asked sheepishly making both mares sweatdrop before Cadence spoke up.
"I'll lead you there. Can't have Twily's new friend getting lost now can we?" she asked teasingly as I rolled my eyes. Still I followed her to the library to meet Twilight, and to start my life once more. Hopefully I can make this work without ending up in stone again.
'I swear to god does it never end! I've been out of that statue for five years now and they are still staring at me!' I rant in my head as I walk down the streets of Canterlot under the scrutinizing gazes of its citizens.
'We could just rip their eyes out. Then they'll never be able to look at anything ever again!'
'Quiet you!' I shout back at the voice in my head, the same voice that was an ever present reminder of the true monster inside that lead to me becoming a statue in the first place.
Looking up at the cloudless skies I can't help but reminisce on these past five years of freedom from my stone prison, well that and my new job as personal bodyguard to Twilight Sparkle. I'm sure it goes without saying that the job was a lot harder than I had originally thought and it wasn't because of the school bullies, or even the kidnapping attempts either, both of which I put down with laughable ease. The real stress inducer came directly from Twilight herself.
The girl was adorable yes but she also had an insatiable curiosity that was just as helpful to her studies as it was a curse. Before I had come along I have no doubt she would have spent most if not all of her time in the castle library, however since I was around she had become more bold in her searches to the point she was away from the castle more than in it.
At first I had thought nothing of it and even encouraged her to get out and meet new ponies as did Celestia. Still she refused to actually make any friends as I had expected, and add to the fact some of the ruins and places we visited weren't exactly friendly. It took a few close call's before I couldn't take it anymore and more or less forced Twilight to learn how to defend herself under my tutelage with Spike joining in later on.
While Twilight and Spike never learned how to utilize KI she was quite capable of substituting some KI based techniques with magic and focused more on raw firepower than technique. Spike surprisingly enough was the exact opposite and focused more on technique since he had no substitute for KI like Twilight and his fire wasn't very plentiful at the moment.
Despite their lack in some areas they were no pushovers, which meant I didn't have to watch over them twenty-four-seven and actually had some free time to myself. Time that I used to train extensively further increasing my power, but what for I didn't know. Every enemy that had proved some type of challenge in the past was now long dead, and I was told by Celestia personally that the likelihood of anyone on the planet reaching a level able to prove a threat to myself was slim to non-existent.
I figured it was due to my saiyan blood that drove me to constantly get stronger, that and a constant nagging feeling in the back of my mind that sooner or later something really bad was going to happen and that I would need to be ready for it.
"Alright I've had enough of this." I say to myself after finally getting fed up with all the ponies staring at me. I haven't changed one bit in five years and they still feel the need to gawk at me!
Covered in a white aura I take of towards the castle arriving at said destination in seconds instead of minutes had I continued walking. When I had left Twilight was reading some story under a tree near the gardens and Spike was running some sort of personal errand that he never told me of its purpose. Both had occurred quite a few hours ago as I had been training near the Everfree for nearly all day. Yet now that I hovered above the castle I couldn't sense either of them anywhere in the castle, or in Canterlot as a whole for that matter!
So instead of sensing them I took a few sniffs and instantly caught both of their scents, gotta love saiyan super senses. From what I was getting they had taken off in the direction of...
"Ponyville." I whisper to myself in a bit of shock.
I had been so preoccupied with living and practically babysitting Twilight and Spike that I had completely forgotten the shows timeline! If Twilight has been sent to Ponyville then that means Nightmare Moon/Luna was set to arrive in a day! Guess I should have gotten that calendar like Celestia wanted me to after all.
Without another thought I quickly sensed out Celestia's energy and flew towards her location. Turns out she was in her personal chambers making it easier for me as I simply landed on her balcony and walked inside. I quickly found her sitting in what is dubbed as her 'comfy chair' drinking a glass of red wine with the bottle on the table beside her. Now I knew my assumptions were correct about this day since Celestia only drinks when she is really stressed.
She didn't even notice me approach as she just stared ahead into the fireplace taking a sip of her wine every now and then. It was only when I placed a hand on her shoulder that she responded with a small jump before looking up at me with a surprised look before it turned into a sad smile.
"Ah Broly good to see you. I assume you already know that I sent Twilight to Ponyville to oversee the Summer Sun Celebration?" she asked but I kept a stoic face.
"Yes I know Celestia, however that is not why I am here. I'm here because of the real reason you sent Twilight down there. I know that Luna is coming back Celestia and that you plan to have Twilight and the new friends she will make in that town use the Element's to save her." I stated bluntly making Celestia actually go bug eyed and drop her half full glass which I quickly caught.
"Wha? But how di-" she stuttered not able to comprehend the fact that I knew her plan somehow.
"Explanation's later Tia as right now I need to head on down to Ponyville and make sure Twilight hasn't already lost her mind. When Nightmare shows up however I won't let her do as she pleases." I said with a growl at the end at just the thought of her hurting Twilight. I'd become protective of the girl and it had become an unspoken rule amongst everyone in Canterlot to not harm Twilight in anyway, shape, or form unless you wanted to face my wrath.
As I moved towards the balcony to leave and go locate my charge I was stopped by a hand on my shoulder. Looking back I saw Celestia looking up to me desperately. Now I was a bit surprised by this. I had seen Celestia at her lowest points in the past due to the war and she could only vent on I or Luna at that time. I had seen her go through many painful emotions but I had never seen her so... well desperate! But with a thousand years of being alone and forced to run a country single handedly I was a fool to expect her to still be the same mare I had fought alongside.
"Please Broly, she may be full of hatred and jealousy now but she is still my sister." she pleaded making me sigh in resignation before turning around and pulling her into a hug.
"I'm not gonna kill her Tia but I can't say I won't hurt her. Hell I may be able to slap some sense into before the Element's even get a chance to." I say getting a chuckle out of Celestia at the end.
With that we broke the hug and walked to the balcony. With a final wave goodbye I took of towards Ponyville leaving a white streak in my wake even as the sun was already starting to set thanks to Celestia.
"Gee I wonder where they could be." I say sarcastically as I stand in front of the giant tree/home/library that was currently blasting loud party music and flashing lights from the windows.
My eye twitched slightly as my sensitive ears rang from the overly loud music assaulting them. Still I pressed on and opened the door, yet as soon as the door opened the whole room went silent as I became the recipient of numerous stares once more. Pretty hard not to since I was well over a head taller than anyone else in the room save for the big red stallion, aka Big Mac, towards the back who stood roughly the same height as myself. It was easy to point out a few memorable ponies from the show yet now where as easy as Big Mac. My focus however was on a certain dragon dancing around with a lamp shade on his head.
Shaking my head disappointedly I walk up to the still oblivious drake and without warning yank the shade off of his head.
"Hey what the- oh hey Broly." said the drake as he smiled up at me.
Spike was a thirteen year old dragon that stood roughly five feet tell and sported a well toned frame thanks to the years of training I put him through. He had light purple scales all over his body with neon green spines and slitted green eyes like a serpents. He wore a dark purple t-shirt with a simple pair of jeans for his attire.
"Don't 'hey Broly' me kid! How many times have I told you that if you or Twilight are going someplace to let me know beforehand!" I say with a light slap to the back of his head making him rub the spot in pain.
"OW! Sorry we forgot!" he said desperately. I continued to glare at him for a moment longer before an evil smile crossed my face.
"Oh it's alright Spike . But as punishment you'll have to have a little spar with me tomorrow." I said and my smile grew as I watched Spike turn pitch white.
"Hey lay off they squirt! Who the hay are you anyway?" demanded a scratchy yet still feminine voice from behind me. Turning around I saw the five mares who would after tonight become the most famous ponies in Equestria.
The one who had spoken was without a doubt Rainbow Dash as she stood nearly hoof to toe with me while using her wings to look me in the eye. Her fur, mane and tail color and style were all the same as in the show along with the other Element bearer's. The only difference being their Anthromorphic stature.
Rainbow stood roughly five foot six and had a lean athletic frame built for speed as expected with mid B-cup breast. Currently she was wearing a pair of black track pants with a white tank top that had her cutie mark proudly on display on her chest. Gotta admit she fit the description I had thought up in my mind when I first realized where I was and how the species were Anthromorphic.
"Dash do you not know who that is!? That's the 'Legendary Super Saiyan Broly'! He's also the most eligible bachelor in Canterlot and I can see why." said obviously Rarity as the posh mare openly ogled my chest. Not that I could really blame her as my choice in attire purposefully left me bare chested but the 'most eligible bachelor' thing was news to me. Then again I never really pay much attention to the news or gossip anyway.
Rarity stood a little taller than Dash at roughly five foot seven and possessed a more curvaceous figure with a mid C-cup bust. For her attire she chose to wear a white button up blouse with a short purple skirt that had her Cutie mark stitched into the side. No doubt she made her own clothes.
"Wowwy! Now I can throw another 'Welcome to Ponyville' party for Broly!" yelled who could only be Pinkie Pie. Said mare than appeared in front of me knocking Rainbow to the side and now hopping up to my eye level repeatedly.
The pink colored mare stood the same height as Dash but was much curvier with having a noticeably larger rear and a High C-cup bust size which currently had my attention as her hopping made them much more noticeable. She wore a light blue tube top under a small denim jacket and small jean shorts.
"Now hold it Pinkie we don even know if the fella is stayin that long." came the southern drawl of Applejack as she pulled Pinkie back from my personal space and some small part of me was sad to see the fun bag's leave. No man has any right to judge me.
Now Applejack was the tallest of the girls at five foot nine and she had the most defined and muscular build but not overly so as she still had that feminine figure which included her high C-cup bust. She wore a red checkered t-shirt tied up so her mid riff was exposed, as well as her defined abs, a pair of daisy dukes and her trademark stetson.
Pinkie didn't seem put off by Applejack pulling her away from me and instead turned towards the only mare in the group that hadn't spoken yet. Disappearing in a blur not even I could track the shaking form of Fluttershy was soon in front of me and staring up into my eye's fearfully.
Fluttershy stood roughly at five foot eight and had the most curvy form out of all the mares as she looked like a living hourglass with her form. Her rear wasn't as big as Pinkie's but her bust more than made up for it being at the very least double D. She currently wore a tight fitting green wool sweater and a pair of skinny jeans.
Seeing the terrified form of such an adorable pony made me cry inside. Fluttershy was the one creature in this world that should never cry... well her and Derpy.
So in an effort to try and ease her fears sport my kindest smile and speak as softly as I can manage.
"Hey there you don't need to be afraid of me. I may look big and bad but I'm actually really nice like your friend Harry." I say. Sure I cheated a bit by mentioning one of her animal friends but sue me. It was at the mention of Harry that she stopped looking so afraid and actually looked up at me in surprise.
"You know Harry?" she asked loud enough so that even people without super hearing could hear her.
"I know of him as well as you Fluttershy. Your kindness for animals is something not many ponies notice and that is a shame." I answer and watched in amusement as her face lit up bright red. She managed to mutter out a quick 'thank you' before running back to her friends who were shocked at what just happened.
"Okay buddy just how did you do that and how did you know who Flutter's was cause I know she didn't tell you her name." said Dash suspiciously and I knew I had made a slight error. I couldn't really tell them how I knew them truthfully and with the walking lie detector around it made my job all the harder. Maybe I could tell a partial truth and she won't notice?
"Heard about her of course as she is pretty a pretty famous mare in her own right just like the rest of you girls are." I say with a shrug of my shoulders making the mares gazes turn more curious than suspicious.
"And how's that sugarcube?" asked Aj.
"Well for on Applejack, I know you because you apple's speak for themselves and it's hard to eat them and not know the magnificent mare who grew and harvested them." I said with a teasing grin as now it was the farm mares turn to blush and try and hide it with her hat while I turned my attention to the next mare on the list.
"And Rarity, your clothing's worn by many nobles and while I don't like the ones who wear them even I can appreciate your work." I said which had rarity now waving her hand in front of her face and looking as if she may need her fainting couch soon enough. Out of the corner of my eye though I saw Spike giving me a small glare and it was then I remembered the crush he had on her.
'Sorry bud but I need some way to save my ass.' I apologize in my mind before moving on to Pinkie who was actually looking eager for what I would say.
"What can I say that hasn't already been said? Your parties are only rivaled by your baking skill's Pinkie Pie." I say simply making her giggle and snort cutely but I could see the light reddening of her cheeks.
"And last but not least Rainbow Dash, you claim to be the fastest flier in Equestria and future Wonderbolt member and I see you could make it. Keep working and you may be fast enough to challenge me." I say with a smirk.
"You know I will! I'll beat you in ten seconds flat!" she declared with a huff as she turned away to hide the slight reddening of her cheeks.
'I can't believe I got all five of them to blush! I must be smoother than I thought.' I congratulate myself in my mind only to be rudely interrupted by it's other unwanted occupant.
'Even fools have to get lucky once in a while.'
Before I could go off in a mental tirade against my inner insanity I was brought back to reality by a very angry and familiar voice that I had become quite accustomed to over the years.
"I see your getting along with everyone quite well Broly." said a miffed looking Twilight who had just came down the stairs.
Twilight had really changed from the squirt I had taken to protecting five years ago. Now eighteen years old she stood the same height as Fluttershy and had an athletic, yet still curvy form brought on by my training as she had high C-cup breast. At the moment she was wearing a light purple tube top with her cutie mark on her chest and a pair of black yoga pants.
Her looks didn't matter much to me at the moment however as all I could focus on was her glaring purple eyes. The one thing I had learned to fear in this world above all else was an angry female. I don't know how they do it but an angry woman even makes me want to crap my pants and run for the hill's. I wonder if this is how Goku felt whenever he pissed off Chichi?

The Nightmare's End and Revelation's
Standing in the decayed ruins of what was the original home of the Princesses I stared down the essence of evil that was the remnants of Nightmare Moon. Behind me both Princesses and the newly formed Element's could only look on as my foe and I were about to clash for the final time, only this time I wasn't going to be holding back since Luna was no longer in danger of being hurt in the process.
"So weakling, ready to die?" I asked cockily as my flaming white aura began to increase and I could see her flinch at the blistering winds that began whipping about the room.
"G rrrrR, I WI ll destr Oy YOu!" she roared as she charged me with her fist drawn back and charged with magic.
When she reached me she launched a punch at my chest with the impact sending dust flying and shaking the decrepit castle to its foundations. When she looked up at me however, and saw my smile still present I could see her fear and anger climb as she realized her attack did nothing to me. With a roar of fury and desperation she then began to hammer away at my chest with punches and kicks that shook the entire building and was starting to crater the floor beneath us, but just like her first attempt none of it fazed me as I continued to smile down at the parasite taking a sadistic pleasure as she slowly began to realize that her end was coming soon.
AT the end of her little 'moment' she landed the final punch in my face where it stayed for a moment before she slowly backed away cradling her now bruised hands and legs.
"THiS caN 't BE! i aM A quEe N!" she roared at me.
"HA! What is a Queen compared to a GOD!?" I roar back as my saiyan pride began to surface along with a need to flaunt my superiority over weaker beings, like the one currently standing before me. Yet why was I somehow getting a weird sense of deja vu?
"w HAt iS a gO D comPaRE D to A noNE BELiever!? "
As soon as she finished her sentence she found her head grasped in my large hand before she was slammed through one of the stone pillar's in the room and then being driven straight through the floor, all the way down the tower until finally finding herself in a nice crater at ground level with my boot on her practically destroyed chest plate holding her down.
"Believe now?" I asked cockily with my arms crossed as she looked up at me in obvious pain.
"YeS ." she managed to groan out as I removed my boot.
Grabbing her by the neck I figured it was time to end this farce of a battle, and what better way to do so than with my signature attack? Flying through the holes I recently made I quickly made it to the top floor where I saw the mares all giving me deadpanned looks and I knew it was because of all the damage I was causing to the Princesses old home. Oh I knew I would be paying for this later but right now I couldn't be bothered to care.
Looking at the struggling form still in my grasp I bring my arm back before tossing her high into the sky through the hole I had made upon my arrival. Eventually she managed to right herself with her shoddy wings. Looking down at me and the smug smile I knew I was sporting I could see and feel her power grow as she began collecting all of her magic for one final attack. I actually found it kind of cute to think she would be this desperate and angry to get rid of me, so in response I formed a baseball sized orb of green ki in my hand waiting for Nightmare to make her move.
"YoU hAv e huMiIIA ted m e fOR Th e Las t tIme pEasA nt! No w DIe !" she screamed as she fired a large purple beam that strangely reminded me of Vegeta's Galick Gun attack. Though I had to admit I was a bit impressed by the power behind the attack, as from what I could sense it was strong enough to destroy this entire castle along with a good chunk of the Everfree forest.
"Sorry, don't feel like dying today." I say casually as I toss my little ki orb towards the incoming beam while the hand that once held the orb began to glow with the same green energy that the orb had.
I watched impassively as Nightmare's attack quickly approached my own while behind me I could hear the mares breathes hitch in anticipation. Then just before the two attack's collided I closed my hand into a fist while shouting the name of my signature attack, "Omega Blaster!"
Instantly the once baseball sized orb expanded until it was now large enough to engulf Canterlot Castle and bright enough to turn night into day as everyone from Canterlot, to Ponyville and everywhere in between could no doubt see my attack as it easily began to barrel through Nightmare's as if it was never even there.
All Nightmare Moon could do was scream in horror and defiance as my attack engulfed her form, and after a moment my attack shot into the sky before exploding with a large, 'BOOM!' following in its wake as the entire world turned neon green for a brief moment before settling back into night.
I just simply stood there for a moment trying to sense for any remainder of Nightmare's energy, however there was none left. Nightmare Moon was now officially gone for good. Upon this realization I finally let myself relax and turned to talk with my companions, only to nearly be taken to the ground as six bodies slammed into me with surprising force.
Looking down I could see the Mane six hugging every inch of my large form tightly as they looked up at me with relieved expressions on their faces.
"Broly! Oh thank Faust I thought we lost you when Nightmare sent you into that nightmare realm of hers! She...s-she said you would never wake up, and I was so scared th-mph!?" Twilight started to rant before I silenced her with a finger on her lips.
"Shame on you Twilight, you know better. A little 'nightmare' would never be able to keep me down for very long." I say with a smile. I couldn't tell her about my psychotic roommate up in my head and worry her. Speaking of the prick I wonder why he hadn't spoken up yet? Eh, I'll find out sooner or later.
At my words Twilight's face turned as red as the apple's AJ and her family were known for which drew some snicker's from Rainbow Dash who was hugging my upper right arm while using her wings to keep her up.
"Wow egghead, clingy much?"
"Say's the girl currently using my arm as a body pillow." I shoot back making her freeze for a moment before she quickly let go and crossed her arms with a huff.
"I-I-I was just making sure y-you weren't too banged up! Yeah that's it!" exclaimed the prismatic mare but I wasn't buying it with the large blush she was sporting that rivalled Twilight's. Before things could go any further a light cough got our attention as we all turned to look at Celestia, who Luna was currently hiding behind as she peaked out to look at me.
Looking at Celestia I gave her a nod knowing what to do next. The girls seemed to sense the mood shift as the all released me from the group hug which allowed me to approach the two Princesses. Celestia was calm and collected as ever at my approach, but Luna was shaking like a leaf more and more as the distance between us became ever shorter until I was finally standing in front of them.
For a moment we just stood there, just me and the two rulers of Equestria. Then, with a small nudge from Celestia, Luna stepped out from behind the larger Alicorn and was now looking up at me. Her eyes shown with many emotions ranging from fearful, to guilty, sad, happy and finally hopeful. Both of us knew there was too much to say and no amount of words could possibly convey what we each needed to get off of our chests.
"B-Broly...w-w-we must-eep!" she squealed cutely as I suddenly pulled her into a hug. What can I say, I was a man of action rather than words.
"You don't need to say anything Lulu. No matter what you may have done we both know that I have done far worse in my time. So let's just put the past behind us and move on. I'm just glad to have my friend back." I say. A few moments later and Luna shakily brigs her arms up to return my embrace as I felt her tears start to wet my chest. Ponies were so emotional, and if anyone asked I never shed a single tear, NEVER!
"Now this is what I call a celebration." I say to myself as I stand next to Celestia and Luna atop a raised dias.
Celestia had long since risen the sun and now myself along with the Princesses and Element's were back in Ponyville where a huge celebration was underway to not only celebrate the return of Celestia, but also her recently returned sister Luna. Technically the celebration was also for my defeat of Nightmare Moon but I wasn't one for glory, I got plenty of it back in the old day's that carried over to the present and was just happy that my two oldest friends were back safe and sound.
Eventually it was getting around that time where Twilight would decide to stay with her friends here in Ponyville and I needed to leave in order to grab a few things before I could settle in to the library that was going to become our new abode. So I quickly found Twilight who was talking with her new friends to tell her I would be gone for a bit.
"Hey Twilight I'm gonna be leaving right now, got some things I need to tidy up back in Canterlot so I'll see you at home." I say giving Celestia, who was listening close by a conspiratorial wink which she returned while Luna just looked between the two of us with a bit of confusion.
Just as I was walking away I felt someone grab my arm and turned to see it was Twilight who was looking down at the ground and fidgeting nervously. Behind her I could see her friends looking our way and grinning though once they saw me looking they quickly turned away and pretended to be doing something or other, save for Fluttershy who just 'eeped' in the way only she could and hid behind her mane.
"B-Broly. I need to tell you s-s-something. Something that I should have said a while ago." said Twilight nervously as I looked at her curiously, what's she so nervous about?
"Well what is it Twi? You know you can tell me anything." I say with a smile.
For the next solid minute I watched Twilight struggle to say what she wanted to say but eventually she just gave up and said it was nothing. I wanted to press the issue but I still had things to do. So with that I covered myself in my usual white aura and took off towards Canterlot.
In a short time I was already reaching the mountain city but instead of going towards the city itself I instead dived down towards the base of the mountain. Once there I found a boulder that seemed out of place and so large that it couldn't be moved by normal means. For me however, I simply rolled it to the side to reveal a small crevice that was just barely big enough for me to fit through.
Stepping inside I lit a small ki orb to light my way as I began to traverse the cave. A few minutes later and I now found myself standing in front of a large steel door. Placing my hand on the cold, rusted metal I felt a bit of nostalgia, it had been so long since I had been down here with the last time being just before my insanity had finally taken over.
Pushing those thoughts aside I pushed open the door with said door making a loud screech of protest. Stepping inside I was greeted by a medium circular room filled with books and scrolls all around. To the left was a small sleeping/kitchen area and to the right was a small alchemists table covered with notes.
"Starswirl you may have been a genius but you were also a slob." I chuckle to myself. The old Unicorn may have come a bit after my time but from what Celestia had told me the guy had managed to find my private library and had used it as his own, though thankfully he hadn't touched any of my stuff upon Celestia's personal request. Oh if Twilight knew about this place I fear she would become a hermit, or at least more of one than she already was.
Walking over to a particular shelf I pulled out a small scroll that looked rather plain but I knew better. Inside this scroll was every technique from the Dragonball series. Back during the war times I never had time to study these techniques, and despite being back for five years I've spent most of that time simply looking after Twilight, but now with her, and subsequently I, moving to Ponyville I would have all the time in the world to learn these techniques.
However before I could leave another scroll plopped off the shelf and onto the ground. Picking it up I see it was engraved with Starswirl's cutie mark however a small note was attached and addressed to...ME!?
Looking at the scroll suspiciously for a moment I cautiously open the letter and upon not weird shit happening, as per usual, began to read it. What I read really blew my mind, it seems that Starswirl's main study bedside's magic was me, or rather how I came to be a part of their world. In the note he described his finding's in that I was what was called a 'Displaced.' Human's who were sent to alternate Equestria's all as whatever they were dressed up as at that time after buying a certain item from the Merchant.
While this was certainly new it was not all surprising, I mean the guy was sitting at a Con where people were dressed up as many different fictional characters and buying all sorts of things so it was pretty unbelievable that I would be the only one to buy from the creep. But what really caught my interest was the little fact that through items specific to the wielder I could send a sort of token out into the 'Void' in so that if another Displaced is in trouble they could summon me to help them. Now that was something I just had to try.
So thinking about what item I wanted to represent me I quickly came up with the answer and pulled off my necklace, the same one that got me here to begin with. Then putting my power into it I start my little chant that was unique to me, "I m the Destroyer of Worlds, the Bringer of Genocide, the Devil in mortal flesh, I am the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly! If your enemies seek to take all that you hold dear, to bring death and destruction upon your home, then call upon me and let them face my wrath!"
Wi those words my necklace disappeared into a small black portal that I assumed lead to the Void. Meanwhile another necklace appeared around my neck to replace the one I just used as a token. Looking around my old study once more I take both scrolls and quickly leave back to Ponyville and my new home hoping that maybe with time I could regain control o my Legendary form and banish Death from my mind once and for all.
'Don't count on it weakling.'
Nightmare's Return
Okay I was officially screwed in every sense of the word. For some reason Twilight was fixing me with the most angry glare I had ever been subjected to and I didn't even know why! All I knew was that I was now on her shit list and it was never good to be there. Maybe I can still get out of this with my balls intact.
"Oh hey Twi I was just-" I began when Twilight cut me off with an angry huff.
"Just flirting with some mares you just met. Honestly Broly I thought you were better than this!" she yelled at me making me physically flinch.
"I wasn't flirting! Is it wrong to compliment ponies!? And even if I was what does it matter to you!?" I yell right back.
This seemed to be the wrong thing to say as Twilight's mane and tail erupted into fire and her fur turned pitch white. I had seen her get this angry only once before and that was when some mares were a little more touchy than usual with me. Let's just say that it took a lot of hush money to stop those girls from pressing charges but I also was never bothered by mares again. I was terrified when I saw this even when I wasn't the focal point of her rage but now that I am I feel like running for the hills.
"BRRRROOOOOLLLLLYYYY!" screamed Twilight as she fired a large blast of magic right at me.
"Oh fuck all kinds of duck." was all I managed to say before the blast struck sending me straight through the wall of the library and a bit down the street carving a trench the whole way.
When I finally stopped I just laid their in my personal trench with smoke billowing off my body. I wasn't hurt in the least as magic just wasn't as powerful or as potent as ki so it did barely any damage to me but I was more or less in shock at what had just happened. This wasn't the first time Twilight had blasted me through a wall but this was the first time she did so outside of a sparring session. It made me wonder just what the hell I had done to invoke such an attack on my person from her, not to mention to send her into full Rapidash mode.
As I was still lost in my shocked thoughts I barely felt when someone grabbed me leg and started to drag me along the ground. I had then regained enough thought to lift my head and see who was dragging me like a sack through Ponyville. Surprisingly enough it was Twilight who was using her magic to pull me while she walked a few feet ahead.
I wanted to say something and ask her why the hell she flipped but the words died in my throat. What the heck was I gonna say? I had obviously done something to hurt her or anger her in some way but I don't know how! With my luck she would send me flying again as soon as I spoke so I decided to just remain silent even as weird glances were cast our way by the other townsfolk.
A few minutes later and we all had arrived at the Town Hall where the celebration was to be held. It was just outside the doors that Twilight released her magic and let me leg drop so I could stand. As soon as I stood I saw she was staring at the moon anxiously and had a realization, she was just stressed out that Nightmare Moon was coming back! How had I not noticed it before?
"Hey Twilight," I started as I walked up and laid a hand on her shoulder startling her slightly. When she turned to look at me I had to hold back the shudder at the cold glare she was giving me. What happened to the cute filly that always looked up to me and why did she have to be replaced with this mixed bag of nuts!?
"I know why your angry at me and I'm sorry for not realizing it earlier." I continued making her eye's widen in shock.
"Y-you do?" she asked in disbelief making me feel a tad insulted. Sure I wasn't a frickin genius but I wasn't a complete moron.
"Yeah, your just stressed out Nightmare Moon is coming back right?" I say with a smile pretty sure I hit the nail on the head. Only when I looked at her I saw her face go from surprised to pissed off faster than I could blink. This time I really did shiver as I knew that I had fucked up...again.
"You...you....IDIOT!" screamed Twilight as she pulled a frying pan from somewhere and slammed it on top of my head with enough force I was slammed face first into the ground. The funny thing was is that it actually hurt! Frying pans are no fucking joke when in the hands of an angry woman! Shikimaru, Goku and any other anime character that has faced such a weapon have now earned my total respect for surviving such a diabolical weapon.
I barely heard as Twilight stomped away leaving me to wallow in my wounded state for a good while. Not much time had passed, at least I didn't think much time had passed, but I was jolted back to reality as I felt a familiar yet tainted energy. Leaping to my feet I look towards the moon to see it missing the mark of Luna.
Hearing the screams from inside I quickly rushed into the hall to see a bunch of chickens in gold armor running about as well as ponies running for the doors as quickly as possible. But I didn't care about any of that as I was too busy focusing on the mare standing on the balcony that Celestia was supposed to stand on.
Said mare was the same height and build as Celestia but that was where the similarities ended. For one her fur was pitch black and her ever flowing mane and tail were a dark blue and filled with star's. She was dressed in a rather revealing azure armor as he slit eyes glared down at none other than a fearful Twilight.
"Luna!" I yell out getting both mares attention.
"Who dares to call us..." began Nightmare until her eyes fell on me and her words died in her throat as she stared at me in shock.
"Broly!" screamed Twilight as she ran to my side with a relieved expression on her face.
I didn't look at my charge as I just continued to stare at what was once one of my closest friends. Yet all I could see now was a fake and decrepit version of that mare. This...thing before me was nothing but a damn parasite feeding off of Luna's negative feelings. Nothing would have pleased me more than to rush up and rip that mare limb from limb but doing so would only hurt Luna and I couldn't do that.
"Well Luna it has been a while hasn't it. I gotta say I don't like the new look, you were much better with your old one." I said as I started nudging Twilight towards the door where the rest of the soon to be Element's and Spike were watching things play out. My words seemed to just anger Nightmare however.
"You fool! We are no longer that weak mare! We are Nightmare Moon and we demand respect!" she roared as she fired a cobalt beam of magic at me.
The mares behind me screamed at me to run away, save for Twilight and Spike, while I just stared at the approaching beam in boredom. This wasn't even gonna be the least bit challenging if this was the best Nightmare could come up with. As soon as the beam had reached me I deftly backhanded the beam sending it flying through the roof of the hall and off into the distance leaving everyone watching in a state of shock at what I just did.
"Seriously, that's all you got?" I mocked with a taunting grin.
In rage Nightmare then began to fire multiple beams of magic at me. These one's however I let hit me as each one that struck caused a small explosion sending dust and some debris everywhere. At most I felt a stinging sensation when each blast hit but nothing more. When Nightmare had finally stopped her assault all was quiet as the dust slowly disappeared, meanwhile I could here Nightmare gloating as she had apparently 'destroyed' me.
"Hahahahahaha! Now you all see! Not even the greatest warrior on Eques is a match for my power! I-"
"Oh shut up!" I interrupt as I had gotten tired of her bragging and just wanted her to be quiet. Now that the dust had settled everyone could now see my completely unharmed form. I admit I took a bit of pleasure in seeing Nightmare's frightened face. Yet just as quickly as it appeared it was gone and instead she smiled at me which put me a bit on edge. Just what was she planning?
"You are just as strong as ever Broly. It was foolish of us to try and overpower you we admit. However there are other ways to defeat someone like you." she declared as she charged another spell, only instead of the usual cobalt this spell had a violet tint to it.
"What the hell-" I started before the blast was shot at me and striking me in the face. I started to thrash as almost instantly upon the spell making contact me head felt like there was a fire raging inside of it. It was as if something was trying to claw it's way out of my brain and my skull was in the way. Distantly I could hear Twilight's and the other's cries along with Nightmare's annoying laughter as my vision went dark and I knew no more.
"Wh-where am I?" I grumbled as consciousness started to come back to me. On instinct I tried to feel out the energies of anyone nearby but was stunned to learn that I couldn't. I tried extending my senses only to receive the same result. By this point my eyes had snapped open and I had leaped to my feet ready for a possible fight.
Only when I took in my surroundings I was left in shock and a little bit of fear. Al around me were decrepit and demolished buildings of some type of city. Yet I knew this place as I had seen it before but it was back before I became Broly. This place was New Vegeta, the same place where Goku and the others first met and fought Broly.
"Like what I've done wit the place?" asked an all too familiar voice from behind me. Whipping around I saw him, the manifestation of my insanity. He was basically a carbon copy of me save for the fact his skin was pitch white and his hair and eye's were both blood red. The usual golden adornments were instead ebony with purple jewels on them and his pants were black. If Broly really was a devil as he claimed then no doubt this is what he would look like.
"How am I here and more importantly how are you here!" I demanded without letting up on my fighting stance. It was just a miracle that the bastard hadn't tried to kill me already.
"You really are a fool aren't you? Where else could I be other than your mind?" he replied with a large, evil grin.
"W-w-what!? But how did I-"
"You can thank Nightmare for that one. What that weakling lacks in power she makes up for in cunning. That little spell of hers was meant to send you into an inescapable Nightmare but instead it gave me the chance to come out and play. After all I am what you fear the most." my lookalike gloated only serving to piss me off.
"Grrr ENOUGH! How the hell do I get out of here!?" I demanded once more wanting to get as far away from this bastard as possible. It took every fiber of my being from rushing him and putting a hole through his skull but I didn't have time for that. Twilight and the other's needed my help and damnit all I wasn't going to waste time bickering with this asshole!
"Well the answer to that is simple. All you have to do-" he started before disappearing in a burst of speed that I couldn't track, "is beat me." I heard him finish from behind me right before being kicked through a couple of buildings.
Despite the pain from the powerful kick I recovered quickly and rushed to begin my counterattack. Rushing from the hole I had made I held my right arm out just before I reached him and started to drag my opposite by his neck in a textbook lariat. I continued to drag him through various buildings before finally slamming him into a Cliffside where a huge crater formed before the entire rock face collapsed.
My little moment of triumph didn't last long however as my opposite sent an uppercut slamming into my chin and sending my skyward. Before I could regain my bearing's the bastard appeared right above me before delivering a two fisted hammer strike right on my head sending me careening into the ground. As I struggled to stand up from the pain in my head my opposite just floated in front of me with a smug grin on his face.
"Well weakling how did that feel? I bet it really hurt didn't it?" he asked in mock concern.
"Shut up! Just who the hell do you think you are!?" I screamed back as I began powering up and making the ground around me shake, Yet my opposite looked completely unconcerned which wasn't a surprise since he was insanity incarnate.
"I am many things, but for now you can just call me... Death!" he exclaimed. By that point however I had officially reached my limit in dealing with this clown. With a roar of anger my hair stood up and turned bright gold while my eyes became light green as I went Super Saiyan.
The sudden transformation caused the self named 'Death' to blink in surprise for a moment. In that same moment I was on him like a rabid animal as I began to unleash a hail of punches and kicks, each with enough power to turn mountain's to rubble. With a final first to Death's face I sent him flying through the air while a shockwave erupted upon contact. I was about to press on the attack when I froze as Death had appeared in front of me only this time his hair now stood up like mine and was now a steel grey while his eyes had become a malevolent purple.
"Gotta admit, that hurt. Now let's see how long it takes for your bones to break!" he roared as he rushed me while I did the same. Meeting in the middle our movements became barely visible blurs as we continued to exchange blows with one another.
This back and forth kept going for I don't know how long. All around us the ground shook and shattered with each blow and blast we delivered at one another. Yet no matter how hard I fought I just couldn't get the upper hand on Death. Despite everything neither of us could seem to overpower the other. Not that surprising really since we were basically the same, however that didn't mean neither of us took any damage.
After disengaging from our current slugfest we each floated back some distance to plan our next moves and take a breather. I could feel that my left arm was probably fractured, immense bruising on my chest, busted lip, a gash on y right leg and finally some burns on my right pectoral from Death's ki blasts.
Death however was looking so hot either. The entire left side of his face was swollen, a huge burn covered his right arm, he was favoring his left side and he had a large gash going from his right shoulder to his left hip. All in all we looked, and felt like shit. I really didn't know how long we could keep this up. Death's insanity refused to let him just give up and leave while my drive to win and get the hell out of here was keeping me going. Guess this is what they meant when an unstoppable force meets an immovable wall.
Just as we were gearing up to trade some more blows with each-other a sound like shattering glass echoed across the area making both of us pause. Then just like that cracks started to form in thin air as pieces of...well the world began to fall.
"Dammit! Looks like our time is up for now weakling but sooner or later I will take over and I'll turn all of Equestria into dust! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Death exclaimed as a bright flash engulfed my vision and the world became white.
Jolting up I took heavy breaths as I prepared for another possible attack from Death. Only instead of the ruins of New Vegeta I saw the inside of the tree library and strangely the wounds Death had given me were gone despite the dull phantom pain I still felt. This didn't put me at ease however until I started sensing out energies. I released a relieved sigh as I felt all the energies of the ponies of Ponyville, however I quickly noted that I couldn't sense the energies of the mane six. Extending my senses I quickly found them and if my guess was correct they were at the castle of the two sisters which meant Nightmare hadn't been defeated since the spell on me had apparently broken. I could even sense Celestia and Luna's energies with the other six.
I was just about to lay back down until I felt a familiar taint at the same location. Without a second thought a barreled through the wooden door of the library and flew off in the direction of the castle at top speed.
'Impossible! The Element's were supposed to destroy Nightmare Moon and bring Luna back, so why do I still sense Nightmare's tainted energy as well as Lunas!?' I roared in my mind. It didn't make any sense to me on how Nightmare was still around as she had been destroyed in the show. Maybe this is one of the changes of my being here? Either way I had a job to finish.
In no time at all the castle of the two sisters was in my sights. Without any thought whatsoever I barreled through the roof of the tower where they all were drawing screams of shock as I landed on the worn stone floor. Looking up I stared at what I assumed was Nightmare's remains.
Her once solid form was now nothing more than a mass of shadows beng held together with the cracked pieces of her remaining armor. Her eye's however were as sharp as ever as the stared at me in surprise before turning into unaltered rage.
"Broly!" I heard someone yell from behind me and looked back to see the girls along with Celestia and a newly reformed Luna staring at me with varying degrees of shock, relief and for Luna a bit of guilt. I quickly saw that Twilight was the one who had spoken and looked to be close to tears as she stared at me.
"Hey Twi, sorry to keep you and the girls waiting but I had some...issues to work out." I said with a small smile before turning back around to glare at Nightmare.
"I wO n't B e dE feAT ed!" Nightmare roared in a distorted voice as I just narrowed my eyes at her.
"Bitch for what you put me through I'm gonna make sure you are erased from existence!" I roared as I released a bit of my power and encasing myself in a white aura. I was going to enjoy this way more than I should.
