The Adventures of Axel F

You wake up with a headache. Your vision is a bit blurry, but you try to look around anyway.

"Axel? Honey, are you alright?", a motherly voice asks.

You reply with a moan, "Yeah, Mom. I'm fine. What happened?"

"You almost died....trying to save us...I was so worried about you!", she answered before breaking down into tears.

Now you can see clearly, the first noticeable thing in the room being your mother, who is a blue and black alicorn princess, crying at the foot of your bed.

You are Axel F, a human raised in the land of Equestria by Princess Luna and named after an awesome song. How did you get there? You don't know, and you probably wouldn't care, all you know is that this is your home, with your mom. You look in the corner of your room, seeing a burnt fedora and a piece of charred red fabric.

"Aww....I'm sorry, Axel, we couldn't save your coat, but we'll get you another one, okay Honey?", Mom sniffed, wiping her tears away.

You sighed. That coat was special to you, your mom made you a special red trench coat and a black fedora to go with it, that was your 13th birthday. Trench coats were a common thing in Equestria, and you wanted one really badly. Finally, you got a red one. Why red?

7 Years Ago.....

"Because, there are tan ones and black ones, those are normal, but this is the only red one in Equestria, just like you're the only human in Equestria."

You gave your mother a confused look as you put on the coat, "Is that a bad thing?"

Mom gasped, "No! It makes you special! Just like your coat!"

"Are you always trying to teach me a moral?", you laughed, hugging the lunar princess.

She giggled, "It's always good to learn something new everyday, Axel."

"Mom...I've been meaning to ask, what's the F in my name stand for?", you asked.

Mom scratched her chin with her hoof, "Hmm......Axel F.....you would never forgive me if I told you."

"Mom!"

"Okay....Axel Flufflebunny.....Happy Birthday!", she chirped, kissing your forehead.

Your jaw dropped as you turned to your Aunt Celestia, "No way....."

"Yes way, Axel Flufflebunny! Happy Birthday!"

"Mom.....", you moaned.
