This story is an alternate take on the Legend of Everfree film. The main plot is similar, with minor tweaks to the plot, with new scenes added as well.
After the events of the Friendship Games, the Mane 6, and their newest member, Twilight Sparkle, decide that a leisurely trip to Camp Everfree will give them a break from any magical mishaps.
However, things don't turn out the way they expect. Twilight is suffering from anxieties and nightmares due to her darker self, Midnight Sparkle, wishing to regain control over Twilight. In addition to that, the girls suddenly develop new magical abilities which they are initially unable to control. Finally, the camp's director, Gloriosa Daisy, seems to be hiding a magical secret kept behind her typically upbeat and carefree expression. Can they overcome all these obstacles? Will Midnight Sparkle succeed in her goals? Read to find out.
