Splatoon

After having a decent nights sleep James awoke in the morning to find Callie still asleep.  Wanting to repay her for last night when she helped him, James found the pancake mix and started making pancakes for him and Callie.   Callie woke up and found James making pancakes, and a plate full of them.  "You can have all that's on the plate,". Callie didn't wait a second before eating all the pancakes on the plate.  James chuckled softley at this childe's attitude Callie had.  " What are we going to do today?" James asked.  "Well first were going to take you down to ammo knights and get you fitted out for a weapon, and then get you started in turf wars," Callie responded.  James looked at her a little crazy,but kept eating thinking it would be okay.

After driving back to inkopolis they headed down to ammo knights together to get James some gear.  "Ah if it isn't one of the squid sisters.  What can I do for you Callie?" Sheldon asked. " Hey Sheldon I just came here to get my friend some gear, and also science he is not a squid do you have anything that could allow him to be splatted and swim through ink?" Callie asked. "Actually I have been working on something that will allow him to do just that.  Behold my latest invention,". Said sheldon holding a suit. " this here suit will allow your friend to be splatted and not only swim, but glide on friendly ink, and allow him to respawn.  Now what weapon would you like?". James looked around before setting his eyes on the inkbrush.  "I'll take that one," he said pointing to the inkbrush. Sheldon handed him the suit and the inkbrush.  "How much?" Callie asked. "For you 400 splat coins".  Callie then paid Sheldon the money, thanked him, and left.  " alright next stop is the arena" "hey, just out of curiosity does Sophia live close by here?" James asked. "Yes, why?" Callie asked back.  "Well scince it is my first time going into turf wars I was kind of hoping she could be there with me?" "Oh, well I'll call her and see if she can come.".  After taking to Sophia she says she would be there in five minutes.  They pair then saw her running towards them. " hi Callie, hi James" Sophia said.  "Well I've gotta go off to work," Callie said and then left the pair.  "Well are you ready?" James asked.  "The better question is are you ready? Do you even know what turf wars is?" "No so a crash course would be good" "well the way it works is two teams ink as much turf as they can.  The team with the most inked turf at the end wins" "alright let's go rek some scrubs".  The two then walked in the battle dome and they teleported of to a battle.

They ended up landing in arowana mall and were on the green team.  James winked at Sophia and then the speakers said go.  James immediately ran as fast as he could inking turf as he went, suddenly shots of blue came out of now where.  James quickly located the source of the shots closing from a boy inkling. He then ran up to him and smacked him with the inkbrush splatting him instantly, and then kept on inking turf.  Sophie in the meantime was inking turf fine with her dual jet squelcher.  She then looked over at James and her mouth dropped.  He was the best inkbrush user ever.  Most of the time it took even experienced inklings a long time to get a hold of how the inkbrush works, but he was inking and splatting lots of turf.  Plus when shots came at him he used his inkbrush to deflect the shots.  When the game ended, the green team had inked more than half the turf and James was at the top of the list with the most turf inked and most kills.

"HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!" Sophia asked.  "I don't know it just came naturally?" "It just came naturally I find that hard to believe,".  They kept chatting while heading towards the studio to see how Callie and Marie were doing.  They went inside but saw nobody there. They then started looking around to see if anybody was there.  Just then James heard a loud bang and quickly he ran to it.  He found a locked door, but just busted it down.  Inside he found Marie tied up and gagged.  He quickly went over to check her.  He removed her gag and she said " kidnappers... Callie..you...dead by 11:00" "woah hold on just calm down and say it again slowly," " 5 inklings came and k-kidnapped Callie. T-they told me t-to tell you to meet them at this address by 11:00 wearing the suit or they'll kill Callie,". Marie started crying.  James looked at the address and put the note in his pocket. "What are we going to do?" Sophia asked.  "Were going beat the crap out of them and get Callie back." James responded with.
