Splatoon

The next couple hours were a blur for James as he heard running, somebody shouting among various other things.  When he woke up later he saw he was on a nice looking couch in what looked to be a very expensive looking room.  He was checking out his surroundings when he heard the door open and saw three inklings walk in and look at him.  The first one he saw had two black and white tentacles hanging down from her head, and had a pink and black dress on, and had what looked like a scrub brush in her hair. The second one was about the same height but wore a dress with lime green spots on it.  Her tenticals were gray and tightly folded up. She wore what looked to be a fedora on her head.  The last squid was the one who had saved him in the ally. She was much shorter than the other two and was about James age.  She had had blue tentacles that were like the first squid, but were much smaller than that.  She was wearing nothing but a T-shirt and a cap.  They stood there for a moment frozen before the small one said "Hey he Is finally awake," she said.  James not knowing what to say just sat there and said nothing.  "Oh my we forgot to introduce ourselves.  My name is Callie," Said the tall one with the pink dress. "I'm Marie" said the one with the gray hair.  "Hi there I'm Sophia".  James still sat dumb struck. " Mabey he can't talk" Callie said discussing with the other squids. "M-My name is J-James,".  They immediately stopped talking and looked over at James.  " How exactly did I get here.  I don't remember much of what happened? " "Sophia here saved you but I'll let her tell that" said Callie.  "When I saw you, you tried to run away from me, but thanks to your wounds you could not run and ended up falling and going unconscious.  Not wanting to leave you there I picked you up and ran you over here as fast as I could,". Sophia said all this while blushing.  " Now as great of a hero story as that is I just have one question what are you exactly?" Marie asked. James responded with "I'm human".  The three inklings gasped.  " but I thought humans were extinct?!" Callie said.  " I was a lucky person who survived the rising sea levels.  I'm probably the only human left in existence,". As James said this he started to cry, but Sophia just hugged him and let him sob into her chest.  Once he was done crying the three tried to decide what to do with him as they would not let him go back to the streets.  Sophia said she had a hard enough time paying the rent for herself and did not have room.  Marie did not have space at her place either.  They decided Callie would take him in as she had more than enough room at her place at flounder heights.  Callie was actually really excited about this as she would kind of get to be a mother to James.  They came back to tell him there desicion, but he was fast asleep.  Callie just carried him to the car put him in the back seat and drove off to her place at flounder heights.

They arrived about 30 minutes later at Callie place.  Just as she was pulling in James woke up in the back seat "where are we?" James asked.  "Well we didn't want to send you back to the streets so you're living with me at my place," Callie awnserd. James then tried to get out of the car but Callie stopped him. "We need to check your Injuries before you can move on your own," Callie said and she helped him into the house.  She then took him to the bathroom as the cuts needed to be cleaned and he could really use a bath.  As Callie started taking off James clothes she became a little more nervous. "Don't worry as you won't be the first person to see me naked." James said. She then took off his boxers.  She then started the warm ink (as water is like poison to inklings).  She then sat him down in the bathtub once the water was at a good tempature.  She then started washing all the cuts on his body, and once she was done with the cuts and bruises she washed his hair.  She was almost done when she realized she had one more place to wash, his private area.  Callie took a deep breath and washed it the best she could.  She then got him a towel and a fresh pair of clothes which she helped him change into. "Thanks" James said.  " no problem" Callie said back. She then made burgers for the two which James commented had been the best meal he had in a long time, which made Callie blush bright red.  After dinner she put James to bed and tucked him in.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!" James screamed. Callie was in there 5 seconds later "What happend are you okay?!" Callie asked.  "Sorry just had a nightmare." James said all while looking tromatized. Callie sat next to him. " Tell me what it was about" " it was about my parents right before they died. I remember seeing them wave at me as I drifted off in the pod they were crying and smiling, and then the wave came and they were gone,". "Wow. Im sorry that happened, but hey me, Marie, and Sophia can be your family now," Callie said while smileing.  She then started to sing maritime memory as it was a nice happy song. She then laid James down tucked him in, but kept singing the song until he was smiling and asleep.  She left once he was sleeping peacefully.
