CHAPTER 1

REGRETS

Neon sit atop a cliff with his 270. rifle, “everything needs to end, but why now? are we doing what's right?Breach looked down, “i'm not sure Neon, but if we don't fight back, who will? I don't know every thing exactly, but I do know this, if we don't stop them, your kind, and the earth ponies will all die, everypony you knew, or cared about, will all be gone, i know you can change it, and so does everypony who is here to fight with us”. Neon turned to look at the eleven others who were there with them, “well said Breach, we are all here to die for you, so give them hope.Neon looked at Breach, “thank you, my friend” he walked up on the make-shift stand, he looked at everypony and their young ones, and even a mare.“I just want to say that i’m glad you're all here with me, it has been two years since the first invasion, but your fight, is still not over yet, we have so long to go, and I know you're all tired of this fight, but you all did one thing that made you a hero,....you all sacrificed yourselves, and I am glad to fight next to all of you, I thank you, and…Neon saw Amber in the back, but her face was covered with her hair, Neon looked away, Neon? Are you alright? asked Breach.“yeah, I’m fine” he looked back at the spot he thought he saw her, but she was gone.Thats….thats all for nowHe headed down the hillside to the river, He stood there, staring at his reflection in the water, he punched the water, and lifted a rock with his horn, and shot it at a tree, it got lodged in the base of the tree.“Neon, stop this” Breach was standing behind him.“I could have saved her! but i didn’t, and now she is gone!”“Dont you think I know that!?, Don't you think i know what you're going threw!? Neon, im sorry for your loss, but you need to get your head in the game, you can’t change the past, nopony can!”I know! Neon dropped to his knees, “I know i can’t,.....I know...I know.Breach gave him a hoof, “come on Neon, let’s get up there before….An explosion blasted on top of the hill, Breach and Neon both looked up, and started running as fast as they can up there.as soon as they got there, they could see the all the guards fighting the others in the camp. Breach shot at a guard faster than a bullet, and stabbed it in the chest with his blade. The mare in the group was surrounded by three guards, Neon started running at them, they did not see him, he picked up two rocks with his horn and shot them hard, he his on in the leg, and the other went threw a guard's head, but the third still never saw him, and Neon stabbed him in the back with his katana, and with his horn stabbed the wounded guard on the ground with a blade to the head.“run into the forest shouted Neon” and the rest of the ponies ran in, the guards on there tail.Neon was about to join them, but he saw Amber again, she was standing in front of him, “Neon!!! He turned and saw Breach fighting a guard, and looked back at Amber, but it was not her, instead a guard was about to stab him, but he heard a rifle shot, and the guard fell to the ground, choking on his own blood, Breach was surrounded by several guards, but six ponies with rifles popped out of the bush and shot them down, Neon was so confused. smaller sized pegasus were helping out.The rest of the guards were being taken out by pegasus with swords. Neon?Neon froze, he knew exactly who’s voice that was, he pulled out his katana and turned around and stuck it up to the Pegasus throat.Amber stood there, smiling with a scar on her ear.“you're not real, i watched you die”“you see Neon, i did die, and i did not believe it as well, but i am back, and i have been watching you”NO!!! shouted Neon, you're not real and you're not here, what are you? because I know you are dead”Neon, just listen to me….I...I am not sure how it worked but I’m here.“why did you come?”‘because, I thought you was going against the guard, well are you going to rise?”Neon looked down, I don't want to put these lives in danger, they all want answers, and they look to me, but I don't know if i could live up to that.”a smaller pegasus stood at her side,”ma’am, what do we do with this one?” she looked over at the net, and Breach looked very upset, “he is one us, let him go”“but ma’am, he has the armor of the guard”“yes I know pvt. but he is an old friend”the pvt. turned and told the other pegasus to free him, he was not mad for too long.later that night, Neon was in his tent, he was trying to catch some rest before he went out for supplies.“Neon….Neon wake up”Neon was very tired, but he managed to keep himself up.Amber was standing at his bedside, Amber? wait, what's going on?“you need to see this” he then realized it was bright outside of the tent. she walked over to the tent door, and held it open, it was not his imagination, it was a red color outside, but it was not too bright.he walked outside, a lot of the ponies were standing outside staring in the same direction.Neon finally realized what they were focused on, it was unexplainable, there stood a giant tower, beaming a big red beam in the sky, it was gigantic, and he saw a bunch of guards flying around it, and all of a sudden, these strange figures floated down, they were hideous creatures, all ugly looking, and looked very evil.Neon heard a pony somewhere in the group say “were all going to die”The guards looked like they were about to greet the monsters, but all hell broke loose, they attacked each other, both sides tearing each other apart.“what the hell is this?”the hellfire was covering the land, and burning the rest of the leftover buildings, the guards are no longer in control.Amber walked over and aimed her scope, trying to get a few extra yards of peripheral vision, trying to tell what's going on down there.“what is it?” asked Neon, but she was too focused on the damage and chaos of what was now happening.“Death, its all death, nopony left, we need to leave this hellish place, before we all die”Neon’s nerves were frozen from her words,”yes, i’ll give the word to move camp”and Neon did just that, he signaled Breach to help the others move and pack quietly.chaos was still going on down in the ruins of the town, fire burned in the midnight mist.it was almost as if somepony had turned in a bright light which lit up the night from a distance.

“Soon….soon, i will let all know im here, but not now, for now I wait, and watch, Neon needs to learn his powers on his own, he may be strong, but he does not know much”The time spawn turned and looked at Gemini“I will send you to teach him, it depends on you and Neon, to save pony kind.I know the pegasus kind will not listen, so they are our enemy”The words reached Gemini, but never hit her yet, and finally she spoke.“but my lord, i am only young, and do not have my full power yet, may I just wait, or you can send a different Time Keeper, maybe one of the more experienced ones, I don't know much”The tall black alicorn just stood there in silence, and finally spoke.You are my daughter, and I am sure you will succeed, you will help Neon, and you will not speak of our kind to any other pony, am I clear?”“but….yes father, I understand.”Gemini walked out of the room, Walking past the rest of the apprentice Time Keepers, all of them were bigger than her, and none of them liked her, just because she was the lord's daughter, they all shot her nasty and vile looks, she never cared.Her friends are all dead, or imprisoned, the only one who ever cared was her teacher,he was a tall light blue alicorn, with silver mane, and twinkling emerald eyes.Gemini was walking to her room when she realized her master's door was open, it was usually closed, she got a little curious, but she decided to ignore it, and head for her chambers.once in her room, she started to pack her stuff into a folding metal light case, all the apprentices have one, it is very small, but its carrying capacity is huge, it was a type of magic she never understood, but never argued with either.“Well Neon, we finally get to meet” she lay in her bed and slowly falls asleep.

Neon was still helping everypony pack when a sharp pain struck him in the chestHe coughed up a crimson black type of blood, “What...what is this?”he was shocked, was he hit?was he dreaming, his mind started to wander, he finally tore off his chest plate, and the rest of his upper body armor.“what? nothing wrong? but I was sure something hit me.“Neon? are you alright?”he didn’t realize Amber was behind him.“yeah...yeah i’m fine, just a little confused”“Confused? Confused about what?”“...Nothing, never mind, its nothing, we need to keep moving”he brushed past her, causing her to move a bit.she just stood there, and finally talked as Neon was already behind her walking to the rest of the moving group.“I’m sorry”Neon stopped“Sorry? Sorry for what?”“I know i cause you trouble Neon, i could see it in your eyes, and your emotions”it got quiet, no other pony was paying them any attention.“No, i’m sorry Amber, it was my fault you died, i could have saved you, but instead you died”Neon was ashamed of his own actions, he felt that he did not do his best.“Neon, if you had tried to save me, we would most likely have died together, and we was not even sure I was even going to come back, so you see Neon, it was better that way, and right now the important thing is that i’m not dead, and i’m here at your side”Neon hung his head down in his own shame, but deep down inside him, he knew she was right.she walked up to him and held him in her arms, so that one second, every bad thing was gone, all the troubles disappeared, and he felt safer once again, but this time, he was happy.

Gemini was getting ready to head into her other world when she started to remember that she needed to say goodbye, she was on her way when she saw two guards approach her.“your highness, my lord gave the order for you to be sent out on your mission”“but I need to say goodbye to my master”“my lord wants you to go immediately”gemini’s eyes started to sparkle in the light as she tried to look as sad as she could,”please, i want to say goodbye, it may be my last chance, please”the guard wanted to look away, but she looked so pitiful,”fine but make it quick, we need you to go soon”“thank you” she hugged the guard, and the guard froze in place, in the time relm, most never showed affection, they thought affection was part of weakness.“yeah yeah, now hurry up and go”she was on her way when she bumped into her brother Cancer“oh, hello Gemini” he said in a slithering voice, he always gave her the chills.“hello Cancer, what are you doing here? or did you come to see me off?”Cancer only smiled, he was moving constantly, his teeth as sharp as razors, but Gemini held her position “I just thought it would be a good idea to tell my little sister goodbye, I can still tell you goodbye right?”“of course you can, but i’m just a bit busy at the moment”he cocked his neck still giving his insane like smile “too busy for family? oh no, thats not good at all dear sis, you're not going quiet are you? (quiet means that she is corrupt)“quiet? why in the eleventh realm would I do that? i’m a Timekeeper like you, we are too strong to go quite foolish brother”he only chuckled a bone chilling laugh, “i’m just making sure, you would not want to be erased”well stop worrying brother, now I have to go, or I will be late”“well than, by all means, go right ahead, and don’t let family kick you on the way out”he slowly faded into the ground, it was such a neat trick, gemini could not wait till she got her powers.
