It was a beautiful day at Canterlot high cause the new school year starts for Sunset Shimmer and her friends they were all going to be seniors, It had been rough for then these past four years after Sunset stole Twilight's crown and she came to the human world to get it back and Sunset became a demon at the Fall Formal and tried to kill Equestria Twilight and her human counterpart friends but the Elements of Harmony was right there to protect them and they defeated evil Sunset and she apologized and became there friend, and later three evil sirens from Equestria came to the school to get there powers back and take over the school with their singing but the girls stopped them with their own music and saved the school again, then the next year came for when Twilight human counterpart known as Sci-Twi went to Chrystal Prep and competed in the Friendship Games against Canterlot and was so obsessed with the magic that was going on at the school, she made a device that not only tracked magic but consumed it, it became to powerful that it stated to rip open portals and made strange things come out, towards the end st the final challenge she unleashed the magic and it consumed human Twilight and changed her into the evil Midnight Sparkle, she opened various portals nearly destroying the human world to get to Equestria, Sunset Shimmer and her Friends used the Elements of Harmony to stop Midnight Sparkle and saved human Twilight, then later that week Sci-Twi transferred to Canterlot High to be with her real friends and meet Equestria Twilight one day while they were having a picnic, then that summer they all took a trip to Camp Everfree to get away from the school and the magic, Twilight was still having nightmare about Midnight Sparkle and she knew that she was still a part of her, but they also notice that they were starting to have magical powers they couldn't control and Twilight thought it was her fault it was happening, and then they fought a strange magic that took over a young camp counselor that change her into Gaia Everfree, and then the Elements of Harmony saved everyone and the camp from danger once again, then the girls found these magic jewels that gave them magical Equestrian powers and used them for good, but there was one thing that Sunset couldn't figure out... where did the magic that hit the cave come from?

Sunset pulled into the parking lot on her dirt bike that she kept after the Friendship Games, Sunset parked her bike and began to walk towards the rear entrance, as she was walking through the parking lot she saw a big old black van hauling and old aluminum camper trailer, Sunset thought it was weird that someone parked a camper in a school parking lot, As she was looking at it Applejack pulled up in her old red late 70's Ford truck.

"Hey Sunset, who would park a camper in a school parking lot?" She said looking at it, the camper was hard to ignore cause it stuck out like a sore thumb.

Then a rainbow zoom appeared in front of them, "Hey guys!" It was Rainbow Dash, she was using her super speed, cause ever since they got their powers she had been using hers the most, like a lot, she didn't have to drive of ride the bus no more, cause it was obvious that she could get to a place a lot quicker and faster if she ran, "Hey, who the heck parked a camper in the school parking lot?" She said looking at it as well.

"I don't know?" Sunset said, "But I'm pretty sure we'll find out soon."

They went into the school and meet up with their friends at the lockers, they started taking about the van and the camper.

"Did you see the awesome van, that thing look badass!" Dash said.

"Who do you think it belongs to?" Fluttershy asked.

"Maybe it's some big shot film guy wanting to do a documentary on the school?" Said Applejack.

"OH MY STARS!" Rarity gasped, "What if it is!?, and he wants me to do wardrobe, this could be my ticket to making dress for all those famous Hollywood actors and actresses, including my idol Emma Stone." She sighed looking at a picture of her on a makeup ad.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's not a film guy." Sunset said, "Cause if it was he wouldn't be driving an old van with flames and haul an old Airstream like that."

"Ooh! maybe it's another person from Equestria that has come her to take over the school like you and the sirens!" Pinkie blurted out, "No offense." She said looking at Sunset and Sci-Twi.

"None taken." They said in unison for the millionth time getting use to the fact after what had happened.

Just then the bell rang and it was time to go to class, Twilight stepped towards Sunset, "Maybe Pinkies right, what if it is another evil monster from Equestria." She shivered.

"Twilight it wouldn't be a person from Equestria," Sunset asid putting her arm on Twilight, "If it was, why would he be driving a old van and live in a camper like that, I mean it's probably some guy that travels from school to school doing pep rally's." They hoped she was right.

"Excuse me Sunset!" Called a voice from down the hall, it was Vice Principle Luna.

"Hey Vice Principle Luna, whats up?" Sunset asked.

"Principle Celestia wants to talk to you." Luna said.

"Okay?" Sunset said worried.

"Don't worry dear your not in trouble." She said as the headed towards her office.

"Whew." Sunset sighed in relief.

They walked into the office, Luna opened Principle Celestia's door, "Sunsets here Sis'." Luna said.

"Oh good, send her in." Celestia said.

Sunset entered her office and saw new person Sunset never seen before, his skin was blue he was wearing and orange plaid button up shirt with a green t-shirt that said Fender on it, and had brown hair under a gray yarn knitted hat.

"Sunset this Lite Bolton, he's new to town and he's also our new student here." She said

Sunset looked at him with a smile and he smiled back as well, "Hi, welcome to Canterlot High." She smiled shaking his had.

"Thank you." Lite said, "I really appreciate the welcome."

"Sunset would be so kindest to show Lite around the school, please." Celestia asked.

"Sure!" Sunset said.

"I'm sorry about the birth certificate and the transfer papers form my last school." Lite apologized. "But I'll do my best on figuring out these entry forums for you."

"Don't worry about thing Mr Bolton, your need for education is all that we care about, you enjoy your first day here at Canterlot High." She smiled.

"Thank you again Princess...iple (Grunt) Principle Celestia, excuse me." Lite said shaking her hand.

Sunset thought he said Princess but she wasn't sure.

They both walked out of the office and Lite Pass a green boy with blue hair wearing a tank top going into the Principles office, he had noticed a scar on his eye, and Lite thought, "Poor kid, must be hard having a scar for the rest of your life."

"Ah Rally!" She said, "Here for morning detention again I see." And her door closed.

Lite and Sunset walked down the halls giving him the grand tour.

"So Lite," Sunset said, "Where you from?"

"Oh, here, there a lot of places." He said.

"Are your parents traveling salesmen?" She asked.

"No, I my folks passed on a while back and I grew up in a orphanage and I left at 16 and been on the road for a while so it's just me, I just came into town this morning." He said.

"Wait, is that your camper and van out back?" She asked.

"Pretty cool huh, It's not much to look at but it gets you where you want to go." He laughed.

"Okay." Sunset smiled she now knew who the van and camper belonged to, they walked around the school for about a half hour showing Lite the classes and auditorium, Lite was so kind to her and held the door open for her, she though he was the nicest person alive.

"And here we have the music room." Sunset said as they walked in.

"Oh wow, a Gibson Flying V." Lite said noticing Sunsets turquoise Flying V.

Sunset blushed that he liked her guitar, "You like it, that's my guitar."

"She's beautiful! You play!?" Lite said.

"Yeah, me and my friends are in a band." She said, "Do you play?"

"Yeah, I do play." Lite said picking it up, "Do you mind?" He asked.

"Not at all, go ahead." She said, Lite sat on a chair strumming a few cords, Sunset like the way he strummed her instrument, "You should come to the music audition after school." She said.

"Audition?" Like asked.

"Yeah we are doing music auditions to pick out new players for some of our bands, you should try out." She said.

Lite like to play so he smiled and nodded, "Okay tell em' try out." He said.

"Cool, I'll go and let my friend Flash know." Sunset smiled, Lite put her guitar down and we walked out of the room.

"I'll see you after school then?" He smiled.

"Yeah." She smiled back and blushed, Lite turned around and started to walk away, Sunset thought that he was sweet, "He is actually kinda cute." She thought to herself.

Later that day in the cafeteria Sunset and her friends sat together, Sunset was talking about Lite.

"So he's the one with the camper." Applejack said.

"I had him in my English class." said Fluttershy, "He was so kind to hold the door for me and when I broke my pencil he gave me one of his."

"I met him in the hall earlier and he said he loved my studded belt on my backpack." Said Rarity.

Just then the cafeteria doors opened... it was Lite, he came in and got a try of food from the lunch line and looked for a place to sit, the lunch room looked like everybody was in groups, he spotted Sunset and her friends but the table was full, Lite decided it was best to sit alone for a while till he was well acquainted with everyone.

Sunset notice his sitting far away from everyone, all by himself, she felt really sorry for him, "Oh, that's sad," Sunset said sadly.

"How come he's sitting by himself?" Fluttershy asked.

"Maybe he feels out casted being the new student." Sunset said looking at him.

"How bout' you go and invite him to sit with us." Applejack asked Sunset.

"Yeah." Said Sci-Twi, "You seem to like him, Sunset." She joked

Sunset blushed and thought it wasn't such a bad idea, after all she didn't have a boyfriend, Sunset got up and walked towards Lite, "Hey Lite."

"Oh, Hi Sunset." Lite smiled.

"Why don't you come and sit with us, my friends would love to meet you." She smiled.

Lite smiled and got up and walked over with her to their table, Applejack got a empty chair for him to sit in, "Thank you." Lite said to Applejack.

"Sure thing." She said back.

Lite sat down and looked at all the sweet faces that smiled at him, "So Lite, where you from?" Sci-Twi asked.

"Well Canterlot city is my hometown, I was living in younger years but I hit the road at the age of 16 and saw America." He said.

"Wow." Said Fluttershy,

"Wait, your from this town?" Dash said, "I don't think I've ever seen you around before."

"Well... uh..." Lite started, "I was living in a orphanage for the first 11 years of my life and then I moved to... Chicago for a while then I started working in restaurants and shipping depots till I saved some money to buy that van for a bargain and the camper too, so I traveled around took small jobs at diners or played my guitar in the streets till I saved money to move on."

"Wow," Sunset gasped, "What made you want to come home?"

"Well, I figured, why not get your high schooling done and get a better job to make better money have a house, find a girl, and settle down." He finished. "And hey what place better to do that is your hometown."

"YEAH." Said Dash giving Lite a high five, "Hey so you play guitar too, huh."

"Yeah, I got a Gibson Les Paul with Seymour Duncan humbucker pickups in it." He smiled.

"Dude that's sweet," She smiled.

"What kind of axe you got?" Lite asked.

"I got a Dean Custom 350F Series."

"Damn, those are awesome, a buddy of mine Mike Batio plays those."

"Who's Mike Batio?" Dash asked.

Lite smiled, "He's in the top 5 of the worlds most fastest guitar players!"

"Really!?" She said surprised.

"He goes by the nick name "Hands without Shadows." Lite said in a sinister voice.

"I'll have to look this guy up sometime." Dash said.

They talked about music and such till the bell rang for their next classes, Lite had a pretty good idea of how to audition for the bands after school, Lite realized the girls he was sitting with were the same ones described as the ones in the news clippings, Lite didn't want to bring up the subject on them till he was sure they were the ones responsible for bringing magic into this world.
