It was the end of the school day and every one was starting their after school routines, the school gymnasium was getting set up for the auditions, judges table was set the P.A. speakers were on and people were bringing in their equipment.

Lite was outside in his van trying to get his amplifier out, he was having trouble lifting it out of the side when he saw a guy with an light orange mullet wearing a denim vest with a peace sign patch and wearing red fingerless gloves.

"Hey buddy, can you give me a hand with this real quick!" Lite called, the guy came over grabbed the handle on the other side and lifted it out of the van, "Thanks man." Lite said.

"No problem man." He said, "Hey! is this a Marshall JCM 800 Series!?"

"Yeah." Lite smiled.

"Dude, that the most ballsy amplifier they ever made." He complemented.

"100 watts of pure heavy metal!" Lite grinned, "Wanna help me bring this in?"

"Yeah sure man!" He accepted.

Lite went into his camper real quick grabbed his guitar case and his pedal board out and they both carried it into the school.

"Names Lite by the way." He said.

"Valhallen." He introduced as they rolled the amp through the double doors.

"Cool name bro, let me guess parents were heavy metalers too?" Lite asked.

"My dad was." He laughed as they found a spot to set it before had to go up on stage.

Lite had to wait through 12 people before he could go on, he sat on the floor took his Les Paul out and rubbed it down with polish.

"Wow that is beautiful." Said Sunset and her friends who were approached Lite.

"Hey Sunset!" He said.

"Where did you get this stuff?" Dash asked.

"I... bought some of this stuff at garage sales, swap meets and saved money for some of it." He said.

"Must have gotten good deals." She said checking the amp out.

"Goodness the tolex on your amp is falling off, if you want I could fix that for you darling?" Rarity offered.

"No but thank you, I like it like that, it gives it character." Lite said.

Lite watched the people who were trying out, some of them were playing different instruments, a big bulky guy with red eyes played a violin, a blonde girl that looked cross eyed played a piece of metal with a bow, and two younger looking kids were trying to rap... but they weren't all that good.

After about an hour rolled by it was Lite turn, him and Valhallen helped lifted his amp and helped his set up, as he took out his Les Paul he heard a voice say, "Knock em Dead Lite!" It was Dash cheering him on from up in the bleachers with the other girls, Lite smiled, that boosted his confidence.

Lite took his lap top and told them to wire a back track to the P.A., a girl with blue hair and head phones and magenta colored glasses came and did it for him.

"Are you ready?" The judge said.

"Hold on I got to tune up first." Lite said as he did.

The amp was warmed up the pedals were plugged in and the guitar was tuned.

"Okay, this ones titled "Tribute to Rock Guitar" Preformed by Mike Batio." Lite snapped his fingers and the girl with the head phones hit play.

As he played Lite was lost in a epic rock montage he wasn't even looking at the crowd as he stomped pedals and changed keys, his hands and fingers flying up and down the neck and strings at speed Dash probably couldn't catch, his eye just stayed on the guitar.

Lite looked up and saw everyone just staring at him.

"Was that okay?" He asked nervously.

Then the room was suddenly filled with applause, cheering, screams, whistles, and whoops, the stage was suddenly crowded by people asking him to join their bands, the girls up in the bleachers their mouths were agape, their eyes wide as plates.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash screamed.

"WHOA!" Pinkie gasped, "That was even better then a Neil Peart drum solo!"

"That was pretty impressive I do say." Said Rarity.

"Man, it was almost like he's some type of guitar God!" Sci-Twi said.

"It was really loud, but it was amazing." Fluttershy smiled.

"He hands were faster then a jack rabbit out running a cheetah." Said Applejack

Sunset was shock at what she saw, "He was amazing!" She thought.

Lite was out of breath trying to calm the crown down, "Alright just hold on!" He screamed, and he play the first quick note of Rush's "Tom Sawyer", everybody was quiet "I know that was probably the most amazing thing you've ever seen but we got to let the judges do their work, I'll decided which band I'll join, later." He said as he walked off the stage.

Lite ran out into the hall to catch his breath, Sunset ran down to talk to him, she saw him all by himself in the hallway... glowing blue, Sunset hid behind a locker to not be seen, she looked back at him and the glow died down, Lite splashed water on his face and took a few gulps and walked away.

Sunset was shock as to what she had seen... it was Equestrian magic and she knew it, she thinks he's another evil monster from Equestria wanting to take over the school, she had to tell her friends.

Sunset ran down the halls like a bat out of hell, she found them outside talking about his performance.

"YOU GUYS!" She yelled.

"Whoa Sunset settle down." Said Applejack.

"Whats wrong?" Sci-Twi asked.

"LITE HAS EQUESTRIAN MAGIC, I SAW IT"

"WHAT!?" They all said in unison.

"Are you sure?" Rarity asked.

"Positive," She said, "When I followed him into the hallway he... he... he was glowing blue!"

"What!?" They all said again.

"This could end up like what happened with the Sirens!" Dash said.

"What do we do!?" Fluttershy asked.

"We must use our power to drain his power and stop him before this get out of hand!" Sunset said to her friends.

"Yeah! lets go kick his evil butt!" Pinkie said, the girls went looking for Lite.
