The Mystery of Equestria.

Rains vision went blurry as she was knocked into unconsciousness. Rain 'woke up' in a field of clouds, which was odd because she wasn't a pegasus. Rain looked up at the sky, it was a solid black with no stars at all. The area was surrounded by a thick fog, that was a red tint. Rain looked around, and she starting speaking. "Hello? Anypony there?" Rain yelled out, getting no response. 'Had I gone to Tartarus?' She thought and asked herself. She then saw a figure in the fog approaching her. Rain instinctively levitated out her revolver and looked at the cylinder. No bullets were in the cylinder.

Rain frowned and reached for her ammo bag which was hanging from her side. She levitated out a bullet and swung out the cylinder and put it in the chamber. She swung the cylinder back into place and she took aim, the figure about to depart from the fog and Rain was just about to fire when. -Your not going to shoot me, are you?- The navy blue mare said. Rains pupils went small as she quickly put away her revolver and bowed.

Rain then quickly got up and looked over at Princess Luna. "Y-your dead! You can't be here...I saw your body, Y-your One hundred percent dead!" Rain started panicking and backing up. Princess luna sighed and frowned.

-Yes...I know, I'm dead. No need to rub it in.- She said, her mane going flat as she sighed and looked back up. -Now. Rain Valentine. I know you're quite frightened. But there is no need. I have no intention to hurt you. I just need to ask you a few things....before I leave... - Luna said, trying her best to smile.

Rain slowly nodded and walked towards her. "W-what do you need? P-princess?" Rain said, looking up at Luna. Luna smiled and started to talk.

-There is a pony. An alicorn in Equestria, she is known as Princess Cadence or more formerly known as, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. She needs to be put down. At once,- Luna said. Rain tilted her head and slowly pulled out a pencil and notepad.

"W-why? What did Ms.Cadence do?" Rain said, slowly writing on her notepad with the pencil. Luna frowned and 'turned on' her Royal Canterlot voice.

-Now is not the time for this writing nonsense! You shall help me and not be a foal like fool! I will not take any more distractions! Now listen or perish! - Luna yelled, casting a fire spell at the book and pencil. They melted in her levitation and they dropped to the floor, just ash now. Rains pupils went small and she backed up and fell onto her back. Rain quickly backed up, her hindlegs and forelegs shaking.

-Do I have to do everything myself!? I-I can't accept this! I will do everything myself! Without your foolish pony help! I-I can do all of it on my own!- Luna yelled, lightning striking in the distance behind her. She seemed to be growing in size, her legs getting taller. Her fur turned a black. And with a flash of green, light blue armor appeared on her. -Leave!-

Rain quickly got up and ran in the other direction. She had no idea where she was running as she was running through the endless fog. Rains vision went black for a moment then all of a sudden she was in a snowy area. Rain saw a large city and in the middle was a large castle. Rain tilted her head as snow smacked into her from all directions. She growled and started to sprint towards the city as a large force of black clouds advanced towards the city as well.

-I guess I'm going to have to test you! Hahaha! A voice erupted from inside her head. Rain shrieked in pain and stopped in her tracks, her face plowing into the snow. She shoved her hoofs to her ears. But it was no use. -Fool! I control you! NOW GO! Run!- Rain quickly got up, starting to sprint again, not wanting to know what fate awaited her in those black clouds. Rain had been sprinting for about 20 minutes and she finally reached the city and she looked around, seeing multiple buildings, all either burned down, boarded up or just plain empty.

Rain looked around. It was dead silent, minus the extreme wind. Rain slowly advanced to one of the boarded up houses and she looked over at the front door and tried to open it. Locked. Rain frowned and knocked hard on the door.

"Hello? Is anybody ho-..." Rain was interrupted when the door swung open, hitting her right in the face and sending her stumbling back. She yelped in pain and levitated out her revolver, she took aim and she walked into the home, it was pitch black inside.

"Hello?? Who's there?" Rain asked into the darkness, then all of a sudden she felt the wind rush into the room, and the front door slammed shut which startled Rain and she was pushed by something and then she hit something else and heard a growl. Rain lit up her horn and looked around her, her pupils went small as she saw ponies hanging from the ceiling, their eyes cut out, they were burnt, cut, and missing multiple body parts. Rain screamed in horror as she realized they were all around her.

"What the hell! Who did this?" Rain yelled and questioned again, running towards the front door. She tried to open it but it was locked.

"Gah! Let me out!" Rain yelled again as she slammed her body against the door, trying to break it open. Then a voice rang out loudly inside her head. Rain dropped to the ground in agony as it erupted inside her head.

-Ungrateful whelp! I spend all this time making these pretty decorations for you, and you don't care to admire it! Foolish! But, if you want to go, LEAVE!- 'Luna' screamed in her head as she swung the front door open and pushed her out into the snow. Rain groaned and shook her head and got up. She put her revolver back into its holster. She looked towards the middle of the town. She saw the crystal heart floating above its little pedestal. Rain started sprinting towards it as the black clouds enclosed on the town, limiting her visibility even further.

She soon reached it and she slowly walked up to it. Rain slowly reached her forehoofs up to it and she tried to grab it. But when she grabbed it, it turned black and it broke into bunch of shards and Rain backed up, her pupils going small. She felt her heart explode inside of her and she dropped dead.
