The Mystery of Equestria.

As Rain peeked around the corner, a hot wad of lead was blasted right past her face and she stumbled back. "Gah! What the hell shot that?! No pistol can shoot a bullet that big! No fair!" Rain wailed, turning around to look at Princess Cadence. She had an emotionless expression and she looked up, and she grabbed Rains shoulder and put on a warm smile.

*Rain, get these doctors to safety. I will stay here and fend off these fiends. Now go!* Rain nodded as Cadence jumped out into the hallway, putting up a barrier and exactly at the moment it was put up, multiple throwing knives hit it and one hot wad of let stuck right in the middle of it. Rain sighed and she hurried all the doctors to the exit door in the room, levitating open the door and they all ran out, and so did Rain.

As she ran, she began charging up a spell, prepared to throw aside anypony in her way. She and the multiple doctors soon exited the castle, and they were ambushed as 2 ponies tried swinging at Rain at once. Rain quickly walked back and she tripped and fell on her back, she levitated her revolver up and blasted the two ponies in the head. They both fell over with an audible thump and their brains and blood splattered all over two doctors and they both glared at Rain and slowly wiped the guts off their faces.

Rain got up and kept walking, "Cmon! No time for waiting around, let's get you ponies to safety." Rain quickly found an alleyway where she could hide them and she rushed them in and soon they all were looking at her. "Now stay here. And don't get noticed." Rain explained, quickly walking away and she saw multiple royal guard and civilians on the ground, bleeding and slowly dying. Rain shook her head and dashed ahead, and soon she reached the entrance of Canterlot.

She saw a struggle up at the front, she saw multiple royal guards fending off the force trying to force themselves inside Canterlot, and Rain stood her ground. She took aim. And her gun clicked, and she held her breath. BAM! BAM! PHZZAT! PHZAAT! Rain was knocked back and her gunshot missed as she was knocked back. She saw all of the royal guard's collapse and turn into a red and green dust.

A wave of ash and debris flew over her and it felt like her head has shattered. Her ears hurt, her eyes hurt, her everything hurt! Soon she couldn't see anything and she started to run back, spamming light spells into the mist. Soon she exited it and she could see. She reached a cliff and a barrier. She could see almost all of Equestria and in the distance near the crystal mountains, she could see a swirling black and white magic surrounding it. "Oh no..." Was all Rain could think to say.

Rain quickly started running up to the castle and she encountered one of the ponies, they were sporting chainmail armor, with bronze plating over most of it.

The pony growled and levitated out a sword and shield and it charged Rain with a war scream and Rain quickly discharged a freezing spell on the pony's horn and it forced the sword and shield to drop and Rain pushed the pony over a guard rail that was on the stairs and the pony fell. Screaming as it fell to the bottom and met its demise.

Rain continued running up the stairs, till she approached a wall of royal guards.

-Hey! That's the detective! Let her through.- One of them said, and they all moved aside and she smiled and trotted through them, she came up to the entrance where multiple guards were struggling to break open the large front doors.

-I can't believe those fucking fiends captured our own castle!- One of them yelled and they did one final hit against the door and it swung open. Multiple ponies got knocked down who were behind the door, holding it closed. And they all shot magical spells at her and she dived for cover. She managed to not get hit by any of the spells and she pulled out her pistol.

"3 shots left..." She mumbled as the guards charged in, slashing the ponies on the floor with their swords and Rain charged in, shooting two of the ponies with precision accuracy then she stomped on one and kneeling down, putting her gun to the unicorns head.

N-no! P-plea- Rain shot, the ponies blood splattering all over her face. And she got up, wiping all the blood off her face with her right forehoof. She sheathed her revolver and started walking around, charging up a spell as she walked. Soon she reached the doors to the royal hall. She swallowed and pushed the door open, casting the magic spell at herself, she was surrounded by a wall of flames and she saw over 50 unicorns surrounding princess Celestia, her wings tied down and her horn surrounded by ice magic.

Napalm cackled as he stared Princess Celestia in the face -My my, looks your laughably perfect town has crumbled under my name. Heh, I bet you're so mad...Now. You stay here while I go and deal with your friends. Don't go anywhere, oh wait. you can't!-He cackled as he walked through his countless guards and he saw Rain at the end of the corridor. -My my. Is that Rain Valentine? I thought I killed you! You slippery snake....- He said. Giving her a vicious smile, slowly advanced towards her.

"W-well! You didn't kill me! B-but I'm here to kill you?- She said, unsure if she could even kill him. He levitated something up that was in a holster on his side.

-You see this? This is an experimental gun, it's called a shotgun. Shoots at least over 6 bullets at a time. And I'm going to kill you with it.- He said with a snicker and a grin. Rain quickly levitated out her revolver and aimed and pulled the trigger. Click. Nothing came out of the barrel.

Her expression turned grim, her pupils went small as she almost dropped the gun "How unlucky can I be?" Rain yelled at herself, spinning around as she quickly ran out of the castle, silence following in hot pursuit. Firing magic spells at her as she ran out of the castle, she soon found her running down the same stairs she came up to get here. She was then stopped by two of his guards and they pushed her back. -Its nothing personal. Just business.-

-Die.- Napalm shot rain in the chest, sending her flying through the guard rail and falling down the side of canterlot.
