Chapters Big Blue Monster of Lightning
Equestria, the beautiful land of friendship, harmony and magic that's all around. Ruled over for thousand of years by the sisters of the sun and moon respectively, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. But just recently there was two new princesses introduced. Princess Mi Amore Cadenza better known to her friends and family as Princess Candace the princess of Love and ruler of the Crystal Empire along with her husband Prince Shining Amor.
Now, the next Princess can't have just a simple introduction without also including her friends as well. So, these six ponies who have faced many dangers, have proven what friendship is all about and the very bearers of the Elements of Harmony.
Apple Jack, Element of Honesty and a living lie detector. Her family owns all of Sweet Apple Acres which is also her home and the produce the apple base products and drinks ever known.
Rainbow Dash, Element of Loyalty and fastest flier in Equestria. She may be boastful and quick to judge without seeing the big picture but, if you ever earn her friendship, you have a friend for life that will always be there for you.
Pinkie Pie, Element of Laughter. OH MY GOSH, she is like the best mare to have as a friend ever, It's like she know everything about you without even knowing you. If your ever feeling blue, she'll be there to turn that frown upside down just to see you smile. Just don't think too hard about some of her antics.
Rarity, Element of Generosity. Hoi Boy... uhmm... she's a neat freak. Not saying it in a bad way but, she is pretty blunt when it comes to anything fashionable. Granted, when it comes to those less fortunate she is willing to do all she can asking for nothing in return.
Fluttershy, Element of Kindness. Purity. This mare has such a kind heart that even those who don't know who she is will defend her. Able to communicate with animals and able to notice things others don't see, aside from being the quietest mare in all of Equestria she will come to the defense of her friends with a powerful unknown ability known as "The Stare". Just by looking into her eyes even the monster meanest of nastiest can be subdued. If your patient and soft with your words she'll always be there to speak up for your when your in trouble.
Last but not the Least, The Element of Magic, The former protege' of Princess Celestia, the new crown Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle. The highly studious mare of Ponyvile who (with her friends) have overcome many trials and learned many valuable things about friendship and each other. Even though she dose have a bit of an obsession with having everything in order or trying make things perfect like this one time she was given a rock garden and she kept trying to even out the rocks till she ended up with more rocks. Then Pinkie and her sister got involved and they almost turned Ponyvile into another rock quarry.
So now that you know a little about Equestria and little and who's there. This story has little to do with them... sorry.
This story is about ..well..me.

'Stupid convention, stupid merchant and her stupid pins and plushy.'
Supposedly this is my life now till I find a way home. Went to an anime convention in Baltimore as a Zinorge from Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate as an anthro version of it(sucks waxing chest so the paint would work). Took some pictures, brought some things, then i saw the plushies. It was a table dedicated to Monster hunter and they had just about everything even a Quaropeco plushy(stupid duck).
*Gasp* "I've never seen a species of Zinogre like you."
I had just a second before my vision was filled with brown and green. After tripping over myself it took me a minute to realize who was talking. It was a lady dressed as the guild Marm from monster hunter four and she was flawless. Everything from the green shawl and ht with the gold trim to the brown vest, red ascot, green with white stripe short shorts. She even hat the little frog pouch hanging from her waist.
"Uh hello ma'am i was just browsing your stall and wanted to see what you had for sale." I said as I picked myself off the floor.
I noticed she was nose deep in a book that had a felyne attached to the spine of it.
"Umm ma'am?" I tried to get her attention but all I got was her looking and me every now and then as she wrote something in her book.
So while she was busy with whatever she was doing, i decided to look around her stall a bit. There were plushies, pins, posters, figures both big and small. Some mugs, bottles, bed covers, pillows even hats and monster masks. It was overwhelming to the point I could hear my wallet crying.
If you haven't noticed you can tell what i wanted to get so I grabbed a big Zinorge plushy and a simple chibi Zinogre pin and came back over to the Guild Marm lady.
"Exscuse me miss, I would like to purchase these."
Her face was still in that book.
"Umm miss- WHOA!!!"
All I did was tap her shoulder which startled her send the book and papers flying along with me dropping my items.
"S-sorry ma'am for startling you, here let me help." After helping pick up her pages and my items I showed her what i wanted to buy.
"Sorry about that, sometimes I get so distracted when I see new monster types I tend to forget about my job. So you wanted to purchase these two items. Since you get did help me with my papers and you gave me new info on monster, say one-hundred twenty-five dollars would be a good price."
Handing over the money from my wallet I walked away a happy man. Well happy up until I heard a Hunter horn and felt an impact to the back of my skull then everything went dark.
When i finally came to I expected to be sitting in a hospital or at least be waiting to be question by an officer about the assault. But instead i felt grass underneath me and a warm breeze blow across my body.
'Uhg my head. I'm so gonna sue whoever knocked me out like that.'
As I tried to open my eyes it was to bright so I took my time opening again and immediately noticed something wrong. I know i didn't buy a mask of a Zinogre so why could I see its muzzle. When i reached up to touch it, what was my hand was now a huge paw. Feeling the start of a freak out, I took deep breathes, tried to get into a sorta siting position and tried to access the situation. Which didn't go well.

I was freaking out badly. I was just a normal guy at a convention, took a blow to the back of the head, then wake up in an unknown place as a Zinogre. Granted it's my favorite monster but still how will i ever get home looking like this.
Running blindly in a random direction i was knocking over small trees, hollow logs and was just panicking at everything around me. This went on for awhile till i didn't noticed the cliff and went tumbling hitting just about every stone on the way down. When i finally slammed at the bottom i was hurt, tired, scared about what I've become and how everyone would react once i get home somehow. *Growl* and now hungry. Letting out a small whimper and feeling a tear roll down my face all i could think was Just wanting to go home and if this was a dream, just to wake up and be normal.
After laying there for an unknown amount of time I felt a little better to get up to find something to eat. So until i find someway of getting out of this, I may as well use this new body to get something to eat. Even though I know I'm now a fanged wyvern that's a mixed between a dragon and wolf, I'm not gonna eat something raw so fruit and berries it is then.
Following my nose all i could smell were the various animals around me. I kept trying to smell something till i caught the scent of worn paper, ink, various plants and lavender. And with a smell like that, it means people.
'People, yes! If I follow that smell it can lead me to them and possibly away out of this forest and food. I just gotta be careful and show that I'm harmless and friendly.'
With that in mind i followed the sent till I came across three small bags that looked pretty roughed up like something used them as chew toys.
'Crap, I might be to late but the smell is still fresh so they either just dropped these or......'
"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"
Hearing the scream i zeroed in with my ears and followed where it originated from.

Running after the scent it took a minute with my big frame and small area but i eventually came to a small clearing and saw something I would judge as well... weird.
Up in a tree was what looked like people but their features were off a tad. Hooves for feet, pony like face and i think i see one has a horn. Instead of the typical coloration of skin tones, it was fur with one being a purplish color and the other... wait, that's a zebra, the hell?
My sanity train was about to derail till i saw what caused the people ponies to be up in the tree in the first place. Well all i can say is train derail and no one lived. Below the tree were wolves but not just any wolves. These wolves were made from one like nature itself gave birth to them. Where ever i am' damn nature you scary.
"Oh no it's a bigger one, it must've heard the timber wolves." the purple one spoke.
"Steel your nerve and be ready to defend or sure enough this will be our end." the zebra spoke.
O.k that did it. Hearing the purple one speak broke me, hearing the zebra speak crush the broken pieces then scattered what was left into the wind. My only response was a tilt of my head like a pup.
"Why isn't it attacking Zecora it's just standing there."
"I do not know what it could be, maybe it's blind and can not see?"
While I was off in lala land i didn't notice one of the "timber wolves" approaching me.
"You big wolf!" a voice shouted.
"Huh, wuh, who's talking?" i responded after jolting back to sense.
"Big wolf this be our hunt, you hunt elsewhere or fight pack!" the voice shouted again.
I looked around a bit till I looked down and saw one of the timber wolves growling and staring up at me. These things be freaky dude. Aside from one looking like an amalgamation of twigs, leaves and vines all stuck together, that weird green glow from their eyes and what looks like a reddish orange sap leaking from their fangs. (I hope that's sap and not some poor sap)
"What?" was my most elegant response.
"We said leave big wolf or there be trouble!" the wood wolf yelled again.
"O.k one chill with the yelling and two.."
Lifted my paw/claw i swatted the little bugger off into the tree line where i heard wood breaking. Now I had a choice, walk away and find some other means of getting home or save the people ponies and get my information that way. Truth be told, I was leaning towards leaving but little bugga kept yelling. Now i have five more all growling and surrounding me.
'Why didn't i just walk away. *sigh* Screw you heart.'
PoV TwilightSparkle
I don't know what i am seeing. One moment i was out with Zecora studying the fauna of the Everfree then we get ambushed by a pack of Timber Wolves. I tried to fend them off with my magic but the kept regenerating and dodging my magic. So Zecora and I rand and now we're trapped in a tree. Just when i think it couldn't get worse this bigger fiercer looking Wolf beast shows up. Of all the times i really needed Spike, this would be one of those. But, something strange was happening, the Wolf beast just stood there looking at us like it was studying us. It shouldn't be possible since all the animals of the EverFree don't show that kind of intellect aside from the animals FutterShy take care of.
That wasn't it. One of the Timber Wolves approached it and began to bark at it. After awhile it finally noticed the Timber Wolf and they seemed to be talking to one another.
"Zecora do you see what i see?" I said with glee.
"Indeed i do see and hear, but what they speak of is my fear."
"I know Zecora but they is a rare find of different species communication in the EverFree. If only i hadn't dropped my bag I could take notes on what's happ...."
One moment I was happy to experience such a rare find, the next all Tartarus broke loose. The Wolf beast was staring down at the Timber Wolf after it barked something to it then the next the Wolf beast let out a small bark then swatted the Timber Wolf off into the tree line where it shattered against one of the trees. After that the remaining five took noticed and surrounded the Wolf beast we thought for sure it would be taken down since it was out numbered.
"Surely I thought this would be our last, while the beast has the Timber Wolves attention we must act fast."
Nodding my head we were about to make a run for it till we saw the Wolf beast do something I never seen a beast do nor thought it possible. It spun itself on one paw swing its tail around knocking the five Timber Wolves away before launching itself into the air doing a backwards somersault and landing hard enough to shake the ground which caused both Zecora and I to fall from the tree. I landed on my rump but Zecora seemed to have tried to land on her hooves but ended up twisting her ankle.
"Z-Zecora d-d-did you just see what I just saw?"
"Yes Twilight for I wish I could lie, for what I just witnessed before my very eye's."
POV Zinogre
So, five of these wolves, only me, and no plan. O.K think, I'm a Zinogre, don't know how to use my electricity so that's out and even if I did it wouldn't work on wood. Can't smash them one at a time cause the others would just jump me, so what do i have left.
'I don't know what moves I got left that would.... DUH.'
Monster Hunter Three Ultimate was my first time facing a Zinogre and it was painful. It took me a long time to get used to fighting it but after awhile I learned all its' moves to avoid getting hit and its' one move that got me enthralled with it was something I was gonna try now.
Turning myself to my right while bringing my tail inward towards my left side i kept myself low while tightening my legs for what I'm about to do. I waited for the wolves to get closer and as soon as they did i spun myself around and as hard as i could hearing the sound of wood breaking before launching myself into the air on one paw doing a somersault before landing hard enough to shake the ground.
'That..that was ...AWESOME!!!!'
To anyone watching i was jumping around from paw to paw in a circle letting out little barks of happiness. To this day I'm happy they were the only two who saw me do that. After my little less than proud moment, I looked around and saw the two that were in the tree now on the ground staring at me.
'O.k first form of communication don't look threatening, approach slowly and smile.'
When i made eye contact i did my best at smiling and immediately regretted it when the zebra flinched back and the purple ones' horn began to glow.
'Alright skip smiling, approach slowly and calmly with no quick movements.'
The very second I went to go step forward, a purple beam of light struck the ground in front of where i stood and I was the one to flinch back this time.
'Screw it, sit here, don't move and just keep an eye on them.'
POV Twilight Sparkle
After the Blue Beast did this little dance which was rather cute for it, it looked around and spotted us. I thought about running but Zecora was hurt and we wouldn't get far and I was still exhausted from keeping the Timber Wolves at bay. When it showed it's teeth, I stepped in front of Zecora and ignited my horn hoping to scare it off. I know i didn't have much strength but I had to do something. After it stepped forward I shot a small concussive beam at it's paws to scare it off but all it did was just sit there and look at us.
'This behavior was very strange for creatures of the EverFree . Usually the predators would attack anything the would be prey without hesitation but this ones' behavior was strange. Maybe it gauging us to see who to go for first or maybe its just waiting for us to do something that might seem like a threat. But if that's the case it shows some kind of intelligence but that's impossible, creatures of the EverFree don't have that level of intelligence it's usually just base instinct that drives them. Ooooh i wish i hadn't dropped my bag this would have been a good time to research something new and undocumen...'
I was interrupted from my thoughts when i felt Zecora tap my on my shoulder.
"Huh sorry i was lost in thought for a moment, what is it Zecora?"
All she did was point in front of me. As soon as i looked to where she was pointing all the color drained from my face. Once again because of my thirst for knowledge the beast had approached and was now standing directly in front of me. It was at that moment i knew i had bucked up.
"Aww Ponyfeathers...."

'Sniff, sniff, sniff'
'Paper.'
Sniff,sniff.
'Really old paper.'
Sniff.
'Ink, wood and lavender. Must be a female or a really girly male. Huh... Why dose she look ready to cry..... oh.'
After the wolves were taken care of i tried a bit of diplomacy to be as non aggressive as possible. That didn't go well. So I waited till the two got comfortable to see me as not a threat. Sitting there I began to think over everything that happened to me from going to the convention, meeting the guild marm lady, to getting hit with what sounded like a hunting horn. I hope it wasn't a bone hunting horn because that's just embarrassing.
Coming out of my thoughts i realized the purple one was as lost in thought as I was so I took this opportunity to try and approach again. I saw the zebra move closer to the purple one and was try to get Its' attention which looked as though it wasn't working, so moving slowly i made my way over till I was within arms reach of the purple one. I could see the zebra shaking in fear trying to get purples' attention but it wasn't working. As soon as i was close enough i guess being part wolf my new instincts forced me to sniff to identify whether they were a threat, food, or friendly.
The purple one smelled like a library like a really old library and ink. As for the zebra, that smelled like the forest around us and different plants that made my nose itch a bit. Looking a little closer i saw that they both have some pretty big eyes which must be very expressive. The zebra had gold rings around her neck, right wrist, some gold loops in her ears. She wore what looked to be a simple leather top that exposed her midriff. What looked to be a simple loincloth was actually a pair of thigh high shorts with the loin cloth covering the front and back.
As i turned my attention back to the purple one, I just notice something since i was closer.
'Wait a sec..'
As i huffed a bit a air towards the purple one i spotted what i thought i saw.
'A unicorn, holy crap, i thought they were just a legend and they only appear around virgin maidens or something like that..... reminder check plumbing later.'
Aside from that, the purple Unicorn wore a simple white dress shirt with a blue vest over it. A blouse that reached all the way down to just above her ankles that was a deep shade of purple.
POV Twilight
" Zecora, what do we do?" I asked while keeping an eye on the beast.
"The beast seems to not want to injure us, rather it seems rather curious."
"Now that i realized it, it did sniff us like any animal would do for identification purposes and it didn't attack us after it got rid of the timber wol... oh buck."
As i looked around i saw bits and pieces of the timberwolves that were beaten starting to reform, but instead of separate pile, they were forming up into one.
"Uh Z-Zecora, even though I would like to study this weird beast I really think it's time we should go."
As i look around I can see the start of the new monstrous size of the Timberwolf body being formed and from the looks of it so has the blue beast.
Zinogre POV
I don't remember when but i must have made someone mad somewhere in my life.
'Aww c'mon, can't i have one moment where I'm actually awesome in this body.'
What was once scattered twigs of former wood wolves have now formed up into one giant wood wolf that was now bigger than me and it looked really pissed.
The wooden monstrosity let loose a massive roar that shook me to my very core and left me frozen in fright. I didn't know what to do, should I try and left and probably loose painfully or grab the two ponies and.....
"Wait a tic, where the two ponies g-..... THEY RAN OFF WITHOUT ME." I yelled to myself as I looked around for the two ponies only to barely see them off in the distance through the thick foliage.
"Hey about that thing earlier with crushing one of ya and smacking the others around how about we let bygone be by- aguh."
I barely had time to jump outta the way as the giant wolf chomped down where i was standing. It slowly turned and growled at me and I knew right there what I had to do. Getting low into a ready stance i braced my body for what i was about to do. The new monster wood wolf saw this and prepared itself for what i was about to do as well but what it didn't know was i had a secrete technique that never failed. As silence reigned over the forest i could feel the forest critter brace themselves for what might be the greatest technique this world has ever seen.
"Bye."
I took off running as fast as my for legs could carry me screaming like a girl the same way the ponies ran. What you think I'm THAT crazy to fight something like that, nope not happening I rather like living thank you very much.
Now I don't know what possessed me to look back but in that one second of looking back my life flashed before my eyes and i realized i never finished that candy bar on my dresser.
The wooden monstrosity was on my heels, paws whatever it was behind me and gaining. I tried serpentine, changing directions at the last second so it could run into trees and boulders. Nope not a single thing was slowing it down. I already lost site of the two ponies long ago from turning in random directions so there goes my way out and probably my help if the lived near a town that knew how to fight this thing.
Its been awhile since this thing started chasing me and i was loosing the adrenaline boost I had and was running on fumes. This would have been the ending to the story if it wasn't for random drop off.
"I'm really starting to think someone is getting a kick out of me running off cliffs or random drops."
Just like before the powers of the cosmos put every rock in the way for me to hit on the way down and just for more laughs hey random hole at the bottom.
As i fell inside and my world turned to darkness I had two thoughts on my mind.
One:
"At least I didn't get eaten."
Two:
"I wish i could finish that candy bar."
